This is their EP Don't Trip, its really good and you neeeeed to listen to it. It came out April 19th, 2024 and I think I've listened to the EP in its entirety at least a couple hundred times. I'll be honest though, I'm not a fan of the first track, River Bear, its a good filler song but I personally don't enjoy it much. The EP has way better songs on it, personally I'd skip that first song and then listen to the rest of the album in order.

I don't know who did the album art, its really pretty and I wish they put something out saying who the artist was. From what Alec said when I asked him it seems like they just hired some guy off of Fiverr to do it, probably the same guy who did the Moonboy artwork. It sort of reminds me of the art for the Andromeda beat tape by NK Music. Totally different from Mile End Beach, but its worth a listen.

The EP is a really good show of who they are as a band, their skills and style are showcased especially well on Moonboy and Spaced Out. Having said that, my favorite has to be Savannah Show (which I mentioned in a different post). I think their sound comes out so well partially due to the fact that they recorded and produced it themselves in what I lovingly call "The Rug Room". The Rug Room is their practice space behind a shopping center close by, it smells weird but its a really cool space. Honestly the Rug Room deserves to be its own post, I'll talk about it some point down the line.

Karen had you over at her place; being her girlfriend often meant helping her out with homework. But you hardly minded. Besides, it meant that you got to spend more time with her. Tonight's homework was geography, which wasn't too bad. You guys were colouring in and naming a world map. Something that you would have a test on later this week.

"And over here is Canada," You pointed to the country above America, looking at Karen to make sure she understood. She gave you a nod and went to write it, but paused when she realized she couldn't spell the word. Karen looked up at you expectantly. You laughed a bit and gave her a gentle smile," C-a-n-a-d-a." Your eyes look into her own and you can't help but take a moment to admire her. Karen was stunning, you loved her more than you could ever say into words. And she felt just the same. Before you knew it, your lips were against hers as you kissed her. Hand wrapping around her waist, palm pressing into the small of her back. Pulling her impossibly closer.

Karen kissed you back with ease. She loved kissing you, she loved you. You were her everything. And she didn't always know how to express that. But she really tried. After all, Karen only wanted the best for you. Because in her eyes, you were the best. The best thing that could have possibly happened to her. Even Gretchen was fond of you, which honestly? Was more than enough confirmation for Karen.

You pressed up against Karen's back, an almost purr like sound leaving your lips. Watching her in the mirror. You moved her hair aside, planting sloppy kisses to her neck. Leaving occasional bites," look at you." You murmured against her skin and Karen shivered," so beautiful. And so... wet.. all for me."
