MLP G4 S9 rewrite (kinda)

I honestly thought the whole Grogar fake-out was kinda dumb, especially since they did my boi discord dirty. So in my rewrite of season 9, Grogar actually returns.

In the rewrite, cozy glow isn't imprisoned, and is sent to a more juvenile friendship detention, where she is more closely watched.

While in the library of the place, she finds the book of Gusty the Great and her friend Starswirl the Bearded. She takes notice of the part in the story where Gusty steals the Bewitching bell away from Grogar, and hides it on a mountain. Cozy, now interested in the artifact, plans to sneak out that night and make the journey to the mountain.

On her way there, she stumbled into Chrysalis, who was preoccupied with commanding her army of tree stumps. Chrysalis, after finding out about the bell, takes off towards the mountain as well to find it.

Once both Cozy and Chrysalis arrive, they realize that the bell is in fact there. It's just attached on a necklace, to Gusty herself, who is frozen in place, sealed away as a statue. Chrysalis has just enough magic to break the spell, and frees Gusty, hoping that she can just take the bell away, only to realize that Gusty refuses to give it up.

Cozy questions Gusty and finds out Gusty did not in fact destroy Grogar like the stories said, but sealed his soul inside of the bell itself. Yes, Gusty did steal the bell, but instead of hiding the bell away, decided to hold onto it at all times for safekeeping. Unbeknownst to her, the bell was cursed. Over time, the bell slowly corrupted her, making her magic as strong as Grogar's. The ponies in her kingdom were terrified of her, and shunned her, driving her out. Gusty wasn't in her right mind, and cast a curse on the kingdom, creating the windigos.

Starswirl, her friend, turned on her, chasing her down to the cave they were in right now, and sealed her in stone. Gusty, unaware of what has happened the last few thousands of years, is tricked by Chrysalis and Cozy glow that Starswirl and Twilight sparkle were the bad guys. Gusty, now on the side of Chrysalis and Cozy glow, decides to help by freeing the soul of Grogar, commanding him to assist them.

During the final battle, all of the ponies and their allies now fight Grogar, who after a while, regains his full strength, breaking free of Gusty's control. Grogar is defeated eventually, and resealed by Gusty, who now realizes she was in the wrong. Still wary of Starswirl after all this time, she decides to leave Equestria and wander the world, as the Bell's curse grants her immortality

( this is just a summarization of the events, I don't have everything exactly planned out, this is just me over explaining my ideas)

it's always strange to see people enjoying media that i really enjoy over the course of multiple parts/episodes, because i've noticed that when it's been a few days in between parts, they always tend to forget some key aspects of the media like character names or details of the last episode. i always saw it as a "wow, do people seriously just forget things that easily?" until i remember that i'm only thinking like that because i forget that not everyone who knows about that piece of media has made it their entire personality and that people actually have lives

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Thank you everyone for being so kind and supportive and actually liking my weird little corner on the internet featuring my Twisted Wonderland yapping and hyperfixiations. I have been more creative this year than I have in a LONG time. Seriously, alone I WROTE more in the past 2-3 months than I have I. The past 2-3 years and I forgot how much I enjoy it. Art has been a healing process for me since I chronically feel I suck at it but I do enjoy it and I have been enjoying making fanart. It’s crazy how both fanart and fanfiction has been helping immensely with my creative output but I guess for years I was trapped by the toxic mindset that original art and writing would make me “greater” of an artist/writer. Which I knew was a lie but I didn’t want to be judged by those around me…I let my confidence slip because of fear of indulging in what I like but not anymore. I’m cringe and I’m a free bitch baby 😎

One thing I learned this year is that…fuck it. Do what makes you happy. Even if other people think it’s cringe or childish or even “easier”…like dude I should have realized how my creativity has always peaked in fandom and that’s not a bad thing. It’s my roots. My most creative ideas and stories come from fandom and there’s nothing fucking wrong with that. It’s been so good for me to fully dive into storytelling again. To feel honest passion for my own creations. To look forward to sharing these with others who are just as excited! Im thankful for everyone who follows me!! Even just your presence gives me reason to draw, write, and share my bullshit. 🥹🩵

Ello. I'm a Pinterest convert who happened to join at the same time as the great Reddit migration, so that's fun. Anyways, figured I'd make a post to give people some info about me.

I'm in a large number of fandoms, including (DEEP INHALE), SCP Foundation, Wanderer's Library, The Owl House, Gravity Falls, Amphibia, Generation Loss, Murder Drones, Marvel, Star Wars (Somewhat), FNAF, DnD, Wings of Fire, Percy Jackson universe, Grishaverse, The Dragon Prince, Nimona, The Hunger Games, and probably some other I forgot to mention.

I'm also a bit of a nerd and hyperfixiate on both fictional and nonfictional things, I know wayyyyy too much about things like Chernobyl and Plague Doctors. I also sometimes write as a hobby and am learning how to art, still kinda figuring it out though. Due to the writing thing, I know a lot of incredibly random facts that I shouldn't, as well as just random science stuff.

I like helping people, so don't be afraid to reach out with questions or concerns if you need help with something. If you want info on things, I'm more than happy to help. Here's some things I know a lot about:

The Black Death, Plague Doctors, Chernobyl, oddly specific horrific events in history, the fandoms I've listed above, the lowcountry region of USA (Southeastern coast, I live in South Carolina about 15 minutes from the beach) and the ecosystem of said area (Marshes, swamps, beaches, and our temperate forests), mythology (Greek, Roman, Egyptian, and some Norse), SCIENCE, and other things I'm probably forgetting.

For writing, I mainly like to do fantasy, some sci-fi, and a bit of horror. I'm far from consistent with when I write, you know how it is with motivation.

ok kings of denying your feelings for each other... ok... johndave is so made for me because i fucking love when characters are best friends to lovers and i love john and dave so much as characters on their own and even when its not romantic they are like. each others PERSON, you know? like these two are quite literally the first friendship we meet in homestuck so you know right off the bat how important it is.

i love the idea(and also essentially the canon) of these two doing the gayest things in the fucking universe together and john insists it's for the bit and dave insists it's for the irony and rose and jade are just off to the side. staring at them. knowing the truth. they know what you are.

anyways davekat!!! canonically boyfriends canonically dating so proud of them and i really do understand why they are the fandoms most beloved ship. the interactions these two characters have are fantastic(both with each other and with other characters ABOUT each other. god i love when dave and karkat talk about each other to other characters) the classpect parallels, self-worth issues, the enemies-to-friends-to-lovers of it all... its so good.

Seems like my hyperfixiation has shifted to K’sante (and to a degree YoSante), which I know is perfectly normal (much as it’s unexpected).

But it’s the first time I have moments of missing old hyperfixiations (BoulGram and sometimes KageMon) to the point I get emotional/feel like crying, even mildly heartbroken to a degree.

Don’t know if it’s the stress, but it’s surely an odd experience.

I've been playing sims 4 a lot lately, and by playing I mean I spend all my time in CAS making silly goobers I kind of wanna post them but I'm not sure about making my blog 'multi-fandom', it could just get messy if I suddenly start posting Sims stuff and my non-cowboy related art. HIIII! What is your latest random obsession? For me I have been deep in a figure skating hyperfixiation as of late. I started lessons (they have been going very well) and got really into watching the ISU grand prix series that was just on! Did you know the winner of the Senior Women's was Amber Gleen who is queer and has ADHD, HOW COOL IS THAT!!!! I was up at 2am watching her skate live :)

I’ve of course been very into Dan and Phil but that doesn’t count ;)

The only other “main” thing I’ve been up to activity-wise has been musical theater - I’m a triple threat (singer/actor/dancer) and the show I’m currently in is opening in 2 weeks!! God that’s just crazy to type. I’m not ready ahhh!!!

As for things I’ve been interested in *looking at*, well oddly enough I’m very into parenting content and education about gentle/authoritative parenting, mainly kids 3-10. I think part of it is healing my inner child, part of it is keeping a good guide for how to interact with kids in casual life, and part of it is me thinking about my own situation with kids (I hope to foster) a few decades down the road.

I’ve also been reading a lot of disability advocacy, catching up on political information, drawing (Phanart included!), making jewelry, sewing, and all the other indoor-cat things.

chase’s new movie is based on this jay crownover book, i’ve took a glance at her works on different book sellers. they give divorced mom novels, most of her books are a women going for a man who’s her opposite or something similar to what you read on wattpad in 2016/2017 whenever one was editing tattoos on harry styles or chris evans. on her goodreads, she has quite high review. here and there she has a bad review, the few it thumbed though has issues with writing. which in my opinion make sense bc this book did come out in the 2010’s, during that era where every middle age white woman thought she was the next e.l james or stephen myers.

i assume this movie is going to give after… but yeah, my random hyperfixiations are movie adaptations!! when i saw someone say it gave ‘wattpad’, my ears perked and i did my digging!! she also has a facebook, which is her only social. she posted about the movie there! i can’t see much bc i don’t have a facebook, but in the few posts i was able to read she called the movie ‘a god-tier adaptation’
