I have decided on the spring dog idea for DogDay! I love the other ideas of him being a night light, but I thought that would be too advanced for a little toy you’d see at a little market. And the spring sounds like a cheap toy you’d find somewhere.

But! I have another decision problem.

I don’t know what to name him.

I have two names in mind, and I’d love to receive feedback on which is the better option!

Okay! So, about the Marketable Critters…

I know, I know…a lot of posts in one day. But I promise this is the last.

Before I go to bed, I’d like to present the concepts I’ve come up with for the DogDay and CatNap versions of this AU.

Now, bear with me, they aren’t decided yet…so feel free to suggest anything (like a name/toy)

For DogDay, I envisioned something similar to that one slinky dog from Toy Story. I thought the idea of a bouncy dog was fitting for a version of DogDay…and it’s exactly what you’d find at a garage sale or an old toy store.

(Also, totally didn’t come up with it because of the fact that his legs are severed in Chapter three-)

And as for CatNap…

Since it’s been shown in the opening cartoon of Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 that CatNap can extend his tail…I figured that a stretch Armstrong type of toy would be most fitting! His pendent here is a yarn ball, but that’s just a placeholder. So is the name StretchyCat.

So!! Please leave some ideas you may have for these two goobers.

I call them the “Marketable Critters”! Because their concepts are based off toys or other things that’d you’d find at a cheep supermarket!!!

I first got the idea after I started thinking about how cool it’d be if Mob Games created a PickyPiggy piggie bank as a limited edition piece of merch. And that resulted in me thinking of a new idea for a new AU where Picky is a piggie bank, and from that, I’ve came up with other toy ideas for the other critters.

I only have Picky done because it’s the only design I’m sure of at the moment…though, I do have ideas for DogDay and CatNap, so they might follow soon. If you have any ideas, let me know.

And for the grand reveal…

(The reason some of the drawn dialogue doesn’t match up with the typed out one is because of either lack of space, or that I just don’t want to physically write more words than necessary. I hope it gets the message across though.)
