why sskk are canon To Me:

• the unique way they reassure each other. "just the two of us?" "do we need any more?" = akutagawa's way of telling atsushi he remembers him, he's not alone, and they will win this.

�� based on that, they often communicate with very few words. "akutagawa?" "yeah". a knowing glance that speaks for itself. if this alone isn't proof that they're soulmates, i got a ton more don't worry.

• "the thing beyond power created when your souls intertwine" said by beast dazai. i don't think we as a society talk about that line enough. they're literally destined to meet in every universe.

• they have both begged/demanded the other to be returned to them. atsushi pleaded with akutagawa in a classic "look at me this isn't you" fashion. akutagawa, bleeding profusely from his side and minutes from death, yelled at a fourth dimensional god and demanded it to bring atsushi back to him. do! not! separate!

• didn't mention the elephant in the room until now. they both fucking died for each other. using the same words, with the same soft smile. akutagawa knew he wouldn't make it out, and atsushi had no idea if he would survive being struck. "consider us even". "atsushi doesn't care about akutagawa" takes found dead in a ditch

• clearest yin and yang symbolism i've personally ever seen in a pairing. it's about as subtle as a brick thrown through a window. their character designs reflect this and are made to compliment each other.

• asagiri saying "the person atsushi needs by his side the most might surprisingly be someone like akutagawa" keeps me up at night

• their little date in beast. they were allowed to be happy for five minutes. it shows that without circumstances placing them on opposite sides, they would instantly get along

• the look on atsushi's face when he learns that akutagawa kept his promise. the look on atsushi's face when he realized that akutagawa fought through fucking vampiric mind control to keep his promise.

• the entire vampire bite scene was so sensual for no reason in the manga. there was no need for ANY of that, but it was put there anyway, and as far as we know it has no relevance to the plot. they're just gay

• "you'll save him. you know the reason yourself, don't you?" god ok.

• atsushi tearing through the fucking fabric of spacetime, tapping into the ability to reverse time-- all to save akutagawa from death. all of this after he was told to feel strongly and let that guide him.

• there is more but i can't possibly list it all

This is the Third time I’ve lived through the brutality of hunger its harshness, its silence.

I walk through the streets of the city and find nothing to feed my children.

🩸The first time was last year, when I documented my situation holding onto a piece of bread after over a month of deprivation.

🩸The second time was 6 months ago when I brought some flour for my family and I was very tired because it was a very long walk.

🩸Now, I’m reliving that same pain.

The helplessness before my children, the heartbreak, it feels like I’m failing as a father. This is the very definition of powerlessness. I am of no use to them.💔💔

hey guys! i'm currently thinking about the fact that the hand akutagawa was holding his wound with (you know, to keep himself from actively bleeding out) was the same one he reached forward with when he demanded that a god bring atsushi back to him. if you even care.

he is, as he put it, minutes from death. he is facing two copies of an incomprehensibly powerful god, and he is so small in comparison. and his priority is not to protect the injury that is killing him. it's to get atsushi back at all costs.

UN has warned that 14,000 babies in Gaza can die in 48 hours if aid does not arrive in time. Shaimaa (@shaimaahadaid) is terrified for her children. Shaimaa has a son Adam, and twin daughters Ilana and Ivona whom she gave birth to right before this genocidal war.

Ilana suffers from serious health issues since birth. Shaimaa has already lost Ivona to this genocide. Losing one child is already a devastating ordeal, and Shaimaa does not want to lose any of her other children.

However, Ilana has trouble breathing and has even fallen so seriously ill that she had to spend an entire month in hospital. However, medical treatment is very very expensive in Gaza right now. With no food, no treatment, and no home, Ilana's health is very fragile and she is struggling to survive.

This is why your donation is so important. Your contribution, no matter how small, will help provide little Ilana with food and the medical treatment she so desperately needs. I want to tell you something about my friend Nader. He is a kind hearted young man. Even in all of his suffering and pain, he will take the time to tell me to wear a scarf so I don’t get sick when it’s cold, worry about me if I post about my injury, and ask me about my day. He doesn’t have to do any of this to be deserving of help, but I just want you to know who he is. He is a caring son to his father Ahmed and a loving uncle to his niece Iman. He spends all this time online campaigning for them because he loves his family and he wants to live. We all deserve to eat and live in peace. Nader’s family have the right to live, just as much as anyone born anywhere else in the world. Nader is the son of a father who is sick with cancer, who can’t access adequate treatment because the hospitals have been bombed. Remember this: the children of Gaza are children, just like your children or siblings and my cousins. The IOF drops bombs on them and starves them, and they’re just as scared as you would be if your parent was sick. I know that most of you understand this. Never let yourself forget that they’re more than a headline that tells you the number of people killed in today’s airstrike on Gaza.

Nader works hard to spread his family’s story every day, out of love for them. Nader is now, at 17 years old, the person bringing in money for his family. It’s a heavy responsibility on him. I hope you will return the kindness he shows others to him, and support his campaign. The weight of this should’ve never been on his shoulders, but you can help relieve it. Gang, I know it's so easy to dunk on RFK Jr's latest claims about autism by pointing to all the autistic people who are capable of the things he said we will never do, but I think the more important thing is to state unequivocally that autistic people who have 24/7 support needs in adulthood and genuinely never do those things have value and deserve to exist. Yes, autism is a spectrum that RFK Jr is oversimplifying to suit his narrative, but his narrative is that our autistic friends who struggle with those things shouldn't be like that, and that is the idea we need to push back on, more than whether you personally can write a poem or use a toilet unassisted

Something that gets me as much if not even more emotional than Atsushi sacrificing himself is... The fact that Akutagawa cares. He cares so much about Atsushi. And it's silly of mine to even be surprised, we already knew that he cared: he died for him! But all the same, Akutagawa is someone who feels so inherently evil, so deeply cursed, so fundamentally unfit for love, the fact that he's capable of loving someone in a way that is so deep, so spontaneous, so raw– it's so profoundly moving.
