As much as I’m all for Toby Fox making music for the off remake I really hope ACC is still able to put his usual off putting soundscape to it. There’s a lot of tracks that are so perfect in the tone they convey and as much as I like Tobys music I feel his style is more energetic

There’s this weirdness to it all that’s so unique the entire game is uneasy even in areas that are meant to be safe which is entirely done through the soundtrack. Hell at my lowest point I would listen to Desperately Safe and just cry cause it’s droning hopelessness was weirdly comforting

the way blank slate characters are never truly blank cuz whatever you accept or reject, how you say them, how the endings go, no matter how many response choices or endings you create say something about the mc. toby fox went around this by fully defining one vessel character, one narrator character and you the player as separate entities. ballsy
