Hange Zoe is a lot of things. 

Impulsive, for starters. Curious, too. They have a need for knowledge and thirst for discovery that you haven’t seen in anyone else, ever. They are kind, too ��� perhaps too gentle and bright for this world. A heart so full of love, constantly pumping with passion: for science, for life, for you. 

“Could you…?” Zoe wordlessly asks, holding a bottle of sunscreen and pointing to their naked back. 

“Yeah, of course.”

It’s a small hotel room, filled with minimalistic furniture. Basic, white and beige. Still, for the last couple of days, Hange has managed to make a mess of it: there’s books, clothes, and bags. It doesn’t bother you, however. It only makes this trip more endearing. 

Your hands are sticky from sunscreen, yet you smile at them, feeling your lover’s warmth all over your palms. It stains you, beautifully so. 

“All done, love.”

Hange turns around, cheeks tainted pink and a smile blossoming on their face. The typical oval glasses that adorn their face are discarded on the bedside table. Now, their gaze is blurred, but they still smile at you. 

“Thanks, pookie.” Hange kisses your cheek, placing a hand to your waist. You giggle at the stupid nickname they gave you a couple of years ago, after your third official date. “I love you.”

You smile, stupidly. 

“I love you.”

The gold rings adorning both yours and Hange’s fingers is only proof of how much. You remember confessing your undying love for them before taking them on a date. Honestly, you have loved them ever since you were born – no, actually before that. Because there’s no way you came to this world, willingly or not, for any other reason than loving Hange Zoe. 

“Your turn now, babe.”

Taking your shirt off, you turn around. 

Zoe repeats the ritual once performed on them, the caring and loving hands now helping protect your skin from the unforgiving sun that will eventually face you today at the beach. 

Their touch comes along with memories, of times in which you would stare in the mirror and not recognize yourself, times in which love sounded like a lie instead of a promise, times in which you couldn’t picture yourself happy. Or alive. 

There’s still a bit of sunscreen staining your wedding ring, but you don’t care. Your love for Hange is splayed all over it.

Hey! I just want to say that I love your comment about non-binary lesbians being a thing! Ever since I came out as non-binary I've been driven out of a lot of lesbian spaces (some explicitly, some more subtly by generally being made to feel unwelcome). So reading that & seeing your support made me really happy!

I suppose it depends on the lesbian spaces you frequent or the people you surround yourself with, but like half my friends are non-binary lesbians and I love them to death, hell one of my best friends ever is the most rad coolest non-binary lesbian ever (shout out to my pookie @31-radical )

This is for the matchmaking, I'm a non-binary person in my early 20 who is extremely introverted, i struggle with social situations when I'm alone, i also struggle with depression and anxiety which makes life rather hard, i have been diagnosed with autism so when i get interested in something that tends to be my main interest for months if not a year or more. Even though i am a very anxious person i have a major case of Resting Bitch face, so much so that some of my friends told me they were scared of talking to me at first because they thought i look mean.

I'm a very creative person, i love expressing myself in ways that don't have anything to do with talking, i also love fashion and i usually dress in a mix of goth and comfy clothes, though comfy clothes usually overtake my need to look fancy due to major dysphoria so i usually opt for large hoodies. I feel like you and Choso would really vibe together for numerous reasons. Choso is an eldest sibling so he’s incredibly patient and he’s proven to be very nurturing so I feel as though it would be second nature for him to always be thinking about you and how things might affect you. I think lil homie also has anxiety so he would be able to relate to you on that level, and since so much of this world is completely new to him you guys would be able to bond over the lovely overstimulation of day to day life.
