Doodled this up over the last few hours after finishing up my latest comic page. Was just exploring ideas for how The Ivans' transformation might look like since you don't get to see them actually transform in the game itself on the Wii (Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles). Worked somewhat off of the concept art of them where they have their sleeves rolled up revealing "Spikes" that had formed along their arms that they can fire ^_^

I do believe this card may be a reference to the King of Sukamon in Digimon World or the KingSukamon in Digimon World: Next Order. I could easily be wrong, of course.

I was going to make a whole animation out of it, but I changed my mind. The idea was that Leo and Donnie were mutants, and Rafe and Mikey were human. And people hated mutants. However, here Mikey shoots Leo, not knowing that Leo is his brother who has turned into a mutant.

While technically they made their first appearance in New Mutants 86, Cable, The Mutant Liberation Front members Forearm, Strobe, Reaper, Thumbelina, and Stryfe made their first full appearance in The New Mutants 87, cover date March 1990. They were created by Louise Simonson and Rob Liefeld. In the issue, Skids, Rusty Collins, and Mirage left the team. ("A Show of Power" New Mutants 87, Marvel Comic Event)
