I was extremely fortunate to get and be able to afford the tickets I wanted for the Chicago MCR show, but holy shit the scalper resale value got ridiculous very quickly. Seats worse than my ticket (which I THANKFULLY got in fast enough to pay just the 695 face value for) are now getting resold for 2500!!! Just hours later! Shitty nosebleeds at the back of the arena are about 500!!!!! I knew it would be worse than the last tour with such limited dates but it sucks so bad.

I know a lot of it is out of their hands and kind of just how ticketmaster/live nation function in the US (This has been on par with any big concert I've gone too) but it sucks. So. Much. Most of my friends couldn't get tickets or the prices skyrocketed so quickly it wasn't affordable. Starting cost for bad seats was $69.50. In an hour it was up over $400 🙃

anything over $100 for a concert ticket makes me genuinely dizzy and the idea of paying 400 for bad seats.. Congrats on your tickets though omg!!!

on top of it being beyond shit to support a guy who thinks trans women are predators, it's also like. we all know how aware they are of how trans their audience is. i think support is completely meaningless if it's just words.

you should probably think a bit before telling random users on the internet to treat themselves to like $200+ concert tickets um. beyond the fact that a lot of people do not in fact live in the USA you need to realize that's an insanely large amount of money for some of us. it's not concert ticket money that's like food. just a thought.
