Februar 2018, Pyeongchang

Dreifacher Medaillengewinner bei den Olympischen Spielen. Absurd ist das alles, unfassbar absurd und gleichzeitig großartig und besser, als er es sich jemals hätte vorstellen können. Zwei silberne und eine Goldemaille hängen um seinen Hals, das solide Gewicht hält ihn im Hier und Jetzt, auch wenn er das Gefühl hat zu fliegen. Noch immer zu fliegen, so, als ob der letzte Silbersprung niemals enden würde.

Um Andreas herum herrscht eine unglaubliche Lautstärke. Die Musik dröhnt aus der Anlage hier im deutschen Haus, die Menschen um ihn herum lachen unbeschwert, tanzen und unterhalten sich lautstark über die Musik hinweg. Immer wieder wird er zur Seite gezogen und beglückwünscht, stößt mit jedem an, der ihm sein Bier entgegenhält. Das Grinsen auf seinem Gesicht ist wie festbetoniert, er fühlt sich leicht und ein wenig wie in Watte gepackt.

Markus, Karl, Richi und Stephan hat er im Laufe des Abends in der Menschenmenge verloren. Sie sind gemeinsam hergekommen, um ihren zweiten Platz beim Teamspringen zu feiern. Markus an vorderster Front, auch wenn er dieses Mal nicht mitspringen konnte. Das Teamgefühl ist stärker denn je und allein dieser Umstand macht diesen Abend schöner, als Andreas es sich in seinen kühnsten Träumen je hätte ausmalen können.

Mit einem letzten Schulterklopfer verabschiedet er sich aus der kleinen Runde und bahnt sich seinen Weg zwischen all den Menschen hindurch. Andreas will jetzt sein Team um sich haben, schließlich ist das ihr Ding. Mit ihnen will er feiern, Spaß haben und diesen Abend wirklich unvergesslich machen. Das graue Shirt klebt inzwischen etwas an seinen Schultern, weil es so stickig ist, aber das stört ihn nicht. Er nimmt einen großen Schluck von seinem Bier, prostet im Vorbeigehen anderen Athleten zu und sieht sich gleichzeitig nach seinen Freunden um. Schließlich kommt er an der Toilette vorbei und beschließt, sich hier kurz abzukühlen. Als er die Türe öffnet, stolpert er etwas ungelenk über die leicht abgesenkte Türschwelle in den hell gefliesten Raum hinein. Das Bier schwappt über den Glasrand an seiner Hand hinunter und Andreas flucht leise.

„Wie viel hast du getrunken?“, ertönt eine belustigte und wie immer leicht nasal klingende Stimme.

Ruckartig hebt Andreas den Kopf, sein Blick fällt auf Stephan, der entspannt neben dem Waschbecken lehnt. Die kurzen braunen Haare stehen etwas ab, seine eigene Silbermedaille glänzt im hellen Licht und im Gegensatz zu ihm selbst hat Stephan kein Getränk bei sich.

„Nicht so viel.“ Stephan hebt fragend eine Augenbraue, was Andreas schlucken lässt. „Ehrlich. Die Tür war nur“, er zuckt unbeholfen mit den Schultern, „blöd.“

„Blöd?“

Stephan grinst ihn an und Andreas kann nicht anders als aufzulachen. Ein bisschen zu laut, aber wenn er Stephan so vor sich stehen sieht, mit diesen Grübchen und den funkelnden Augen, fühlt es sich an, als würde das Glück in ihm ein Ventil suchen. Er überbrückt den Abstand zwischen ihnen, bis er dicht vor ihm steht.

Auffordernd hebt er sein Glas, „Ich will mir die Hände waschen, hältst du kurz?“ Ohne zu antworten, nimmt Stephan ihm das Glas aus der Hand. Er trinkt einen Schluck und verzieht angewidert sein Gesicht.

„Das ist warm.“

Schulterzuckend wendet Andreas sich ab, öffnet den Wasserhahn, „Egal. Gewinnerbier ist Gewinnerbier“, und wäscht sich seine Hände. Als er den leeren Papierspender sieht, wischt er sich die nassen Hände kurzerhand an seiner Hose ab.

„Hab’ euch gesucht." Er sieht zu Stephan, der noch immer das halbvolle Bierglas festhält und ihn nicht aus den Augen lässt.

„Du warst so begehrt, da sind die anderen weitergezogen. Aber“, Stephan wirft einen Blick auf seine Armbanduhr, „wir wollten uns gleich bei der Bühne treffen und nach dir sehen. Ist schließlich eine Teamfeier.“

Draußen wummert der Bass, als Andreas einen Schritt auf ihn zugeht, ihm das Bier aus der Hand nimmt und auf dem Waschbeckenrand abstellt. „Eben, deswegen hab’ ich euch gesucht“, sagt er mit leiser Stimme. „Ich wollte mit euch feiern.“ Andreas hebt eine Hand und streicht andächtig über die Silbermedaille, die auf Stephans Brust ruht. „Aber ihr wart irgendwann weg und ich wollte nicht unhöflich sein.“ In ihm macht sich das unangenehme Gefühl von Unsicherheit breit. Was, wenn sein Team sich zurückgelassen fühlt? Als ob sie nicht wichtig genug wären, obwohl sie das Wichtigste sind? Was, wenn Stephan denkt, er wäre nicht wichtig genug? Austauschbar in der Menge, einer von vielen? Andreas beißt sich auf die Unterlippe und lässt Stephans Silbermedaille los.

„Tut mir leid“, wispert er und senkt den Blick.

Die Gedanken in seinem Kopf überschlagen sich. Angestrengt versucht Andreas, sie zu ordnen, aber das Chaos ist zu groß, das schlechte Gewissen legt sich zähflüssig und unnachgiebig um sein Herz. Er schluckt schwer und fragt sich, wo der Kloß in seinem Hals auf einmal herkommt, und vielleicht hat er doch mehr getrunken, als er dachte.

Warme Hände legen sich um seine eigenen. „Andi, das wissen wir doch. Komm schon“, dann verschränkt Stephan ihre Hände miteinander, „heute ist unser Abend. Mach dir keinen Kopf, hm?“

Vorsichtig sieht Andreas auf. Stephan steht vor ihm, ruhig und mit festem Blick. In seinen dunklen Augen ist so viel Wärme und ein wenig Sorge. Wie so oft bei diesen Olympischen Spielen scheint er zu wissen, was Andreas braucht, um wieder runterzufahren und sich auf den Moment zu fokussieren. Hier, auf der Party genauso wie am Abend vor seinem Goldmedaillengewinn. Mit Stephan an seiner Seite ist alles so viel leichter und klarer und ohne ihn wäre er nicht hier, das weiß er.

„Komm, die anderen warten“, unterbricht Stephan seine Gedanken und lässt eine Hand sinken, sodass er ihn an der anderen Hand hinter sich her, in Richtung Tür, ziehen kann. Andreas lässt es zu, Stephan lächelt ihn aufmunternd an und bahnt sich schließlich mit ihm gemeinsam den Weg durch die Menge. Händchenhaltend schieben sie sich durch die Menschen, Stephans Hand fühlt sich dabei vertraut in seiner eigenen an. Nicht zu warm, nicht schwitzig, sondern angenehm und schlicht passend.

Wenig später bleibt Stephan stehen, Markus und die anderen stehen bereits am Rand der Bühne und haben sie entdeckt.

„Da is' ja unser verlorener Champion“, ruft Markus und wirft sich überschwänglich in seine Arme. Es dauert nicht lange und Andreas findet sich in einer Gruppenumarmung wieder, die ihm etwas den Atem raubt und gleichzeitig nicht eng genug sein kann. Sein Blick trifft auf Stephans, der von Karl an seine linke Seite gedrängt wurde und immer noch lächelt. Anstatt Sorge erkennt Andreas Stolz und vielleicht ein bisschen Zufriedenheit in seinem Gesicht.

„Ich liebe dich.“ Die drei Worte stolpern über seine Lippen, viel zu schrill, beinahe schon ein Rufen über das Stimmgewirr und die Musik hinweg.

Markus lacht heiser an seiner Schulter. „Wir lieben dich auch.“ Die anderen stimmen lautstark mit ein, während Stephan ihn immer noch anblickt - weich und warm und unglaublich vertraut.

„Jetzt geht’s los“, beginnt Markus zu grölen, während sich die Gruppenumarmung auflöst.

Das hier ist ihr Abend und es gibt wirklich niemanden, mit dem er diesen Erfolg lieber teilen würde.

albumrecension 25 juli 2024 - Entertainment(2018) av Waterparks

Hej! I dag börjar jag ett nytt sätt för att öva skriva på svenska. Har bestämdt att skriva recensioner om album är en bra idé. Så här är den första:

Jag har varit fan av Waterparks i fyra år, typ. Såg dem förra år, och den var en av de mesta roliga konsert att jag har deltat. Men jag hade inte lyssnat på deras album Entertainment (underhållning) förut. Denna vår och sommar bytade det jag.

Entertainment är den andra LP-skivan av Waterparks, ett amerikanskt band. Deras musik blanda poppunk, pop, hyperpop, och andra genre. 

Jag älskar Entertainment för den är en perfekt sommar album: energiska sånger med båda roliga och mörkra ord. Min favoritsång på Entertainment är nog Crybaby, och jag älskar också We Need to Talk och TANTRUM. Men alla sånger av Entertainment är mycket bra.

Crybaby är min favorit för att jag har känt de här känslorna flera gånger. Blandar idéer som att behöva nån, att vilja inte behöva nån, att vilja inte gråta om det. Och också ilskan när man kan inte få det som man vilja ha. Men sångens starkast känsla är hjälplöshet. Hjälplöshet dyker självklart upp i mycket situationer, inte bara romans, men i romans är det starkaste tror jag. Inget, inget bra kommer från att ruva på sen natt…

We Need to Talk diskutera en idé sån. Det pratar om känslor som att kännas sviken efter ett uppbrott: jag väldigt trodde var lycklig, men fuck me. 

TANTRUM är nog den mesta intressant sången på albumet. Det starta med en jättekraftig linje: om var jag inte tunn och vit med blått här, ska jag va här? Sången kritisera musikindustrin, bandets egna fans, berömmelse, och punkkulturen. Och senare sånger av Waterparks följer efter den här idé, som Watch What Happens Next från FANDOM (2019) och Lowkey as Hell från Greatest Hits (2021). 

I alla fall älskar jag Entertainment och jag älskar Waterparks. Hoppas att nån har läst det här. Jag ha mycket kul med skriva om musik.

The End Machine koppelt Hell Or Highwater aus

Die Supergruppe THE END MACHINE veröffentlicht heute das neue Video zu "Hell or Highwater", der dritten Single aus ihrem aktuellen Album "The Quantum Phase", das jetzt auf Frontiers Music erscheint. Sänger Girish Pradhan sagte über die Single: "Ich weiß noch, wie aufgeregt ich war, als ich dieses Riff zum ersten Mal hörte. Ich stellte mir vor, dass dies unsere Art sein könnte, den legendären Deep Purple musikalisch zu huldigen". "Der Song handelt von dem Adrenalinrausch, der Energie und allem, was dazu gehört, wenn man live auftritt und tourt", fährt er fort. "Es geht darum, wie man die Negativität aus dem Fenster schmeißen kann, wenn man eine astreine Hardrockband live erlebt. Unnötig zu sagen, dass ich tonnenweise Spaß beim Schreiben und Aufnehmen hatte, und ich hoffe, dass die Energie, die ich hineingesteckt habe, unsere Fans erreicht!" Das neue Album von THE END MACHINE bringt auch eine bemerkenswerte personelle Veränderung mit sich. Sänger Robert Mason hat sich offiziell von der Gruppe getrennt und damit den Weg für Girish Pradhan geebnet, den aufstrebenden Superstar-Sänger, der für seine Arbeit unter dem Namen Girish And The Chronicles und kürzlich mit Joel Hoekstra's 13 bekannt wurde. Die Aufnahme von Girish Pradhan in die Band ist ein Beweis für den scharfen Verstand von Serafino Perugino, Präsident und Gründer von Frontiers Records. Perugino, der als ausführender Produzent für THE END MACHINE fungiert, erkannte das unglaubliche Talent und Potenzial von Pradhan und machte die Band auf ihn aufmerksam. THE END MACHINE wurden 2018 gegründet und veröffentlichten 2019 ihr gleichnamiges Debütalbum "The End Machine", das nicht nur wegen der zeitgemäßen Produktion und der modernen Attitüde, sondern auch wegen der perfekt ausgearbeiteten Songs, die eine Hommage an ihre Wurzeln und die Musik, die sie lieben, darstellen, großen Anklang fand. Diese Einstellung und dieses Talent wurden auch auf ihrem zweiten Album "Phase2" von 2021 gezeigt. Tom Wlaschiha wurde am 20. Juni 1973 in der Nähe von Dresden geboren und wuchs dort auch auf. Nach dem Fall der Mauer machte er ein Auslandsjahr in den USA und erlernte dort die englische Sprache.

Von 1992 bis 1996 absolvierte er in Leipzig ein Schauspielstudium an der „Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy“ Hochschule für Musik und Theater.

Von 1996 bis 1999 hatte er ein Engagement am Theater „Junge Generation“ in Dresden. 1999 spielte er im Fernsehfilm „Ich wünsche dir Liebe“ mit. Es folgte eine Rolle als Rettungsassistent in der Fernsehserie „Die Rettungsflieger“.

Im Jahr 2000 spielte er in einer Folge vom „ Tatort“ mit und ein Jahr später bekam er die Hauptrolle in der Komödie „Verliebte Jungs“. Es folgten mehrere Auftritte unter anderem in „Die Sitte“ und „Küstenwache“.

Neben der Schauspielerei beim Film ist er häufig am Theater tätig, unter anderem in Dresden, Zürich und Berlin. Außerdem arbeitet er als Synchronsprecher für Hörspiele und Werbung. Er spricht fließend Deutsch, Englisch und Russisch.

Seine erste Rolle in einer internationalen Produktion bekam er 2001 im Film „Duell - Enemy at the Gates“. Es folgten Nebenrollen in Filmen wie „München“ von Steven Spielberg, „Operation Walküre - Das Stauffenberg Attentat“ und „Anonymus“.

2012 spielte er dann die Rolle, die ihn als internationaler Star bekannt machen sollte. 2012 und 2015 verkörperte er bei der HBO-Serie „Game of Thrones“ die Rolle des Jaqen H’ghar.

Seit November 2018 ist er in der Fernsehserie „Das Boot“ zu sehen. 2022 spielte er in der vierten Staffel der Serie „Stranger Things“ den russischen Gefängniswärter Dmitri Antonov.

Trotz internationaler Berühmtheit schafft Wlaschiha es, sein Privatleben weitestgehend aus der Öffentlichkeit fernzuhalten. Dementsprechend ist über den Beziehungsstatus des schauspielerischen Multitalents nichts bekannt.

Bloody Mallory (2002) [👍]. Franskt toppraffel, inte genial men helt klart en trevlig överraskning. Rekommenderas.

Bullet Train (2022) [👎]. Kul koncept. Rörig, småtråkig film med topnotch-SFX. Vad får jag för pengarna egentligen Hollywood?

Campa i klaveret (2012) [👍🔁🎭]. Klassiker från Vallarna. Claes Månsson i toppform!

Code 8 (2016) [👍]. Bra kortfilm som trots sin korta längd lyckas vara bättre än många av superhjältefilmerna från Marvel och DC jag sett.

Code 8 (2019) [👍]. Långfilmsversionen av filmen ovan. Man lyckades kanon med att utöka konceptet till full längd.

Cosmos Conqueror, the / Roboteu King (1981) [👎]. Värdelös animerad film från Sydkorea. Töntig dialog med en tillhörande engelsk dubb där "kobåjsigt" lär ha varit den genomgående regin. Bra signaturmelodi, enerverande musik för övrigt.

Dalton Girls, the (1957). Mjäh. Dålig karaktärsuppbyggad och slätstruken story. Drew Barrymore-filmen "Bad Girls" bygger på den här filmen. Man kan hoppa över bägge med äran i behåll.

Dark Planet (1997) [👍]. På gränsen till bra, och jag friar den hellre än fäller.

Destination Månen / Destination Moon (1950).

Fäkta för livet! / Prince and the Pauper, the (1977).

Headless Ghost, the (1959).

Hon jazzade en sommar (2002) [👍🔁🎭].

Hornet (2018) [👎]. Asylum mockbustern för storfilmen Bumblebee. Och det är det enda positiva som finns att säga om den.

I Dimma Dold (1953) [👍]. Bra svenskt morddrama i Agatha Christie-stil.

Maciste and the Headhunters / Maciste contro i cacciatori di teste (1963). Är den politiskt korrekt idag? Knappast. Men småskoj barbarfilm från Italien tackar man inte nej till.

Merlin: The Return (2000) [👎]. Störtlöjlig. Man vräker dessutom på med vitt ljus i scenerna att det är på gränsen till whitewashing.

Moontrap: Target Earth (2017) [👎]. Har inte sett filmen den är en uppföljare till.

Quatermass 2 (1957).

Star Knight / El caballero del dragón (1985) [👍]. På sina ställen lite udda, men klart en trevlig film i övrigt.

Sumuru (2003) [👍🔁].

Tarzan den orädde / Tarzan the Fearless (1933).

Teleios (2017) [👍]. Ohh. Lågmäld SF med ett budskap men som inte skriver tittaren på näsan.

Thor the Conqueror / Thor il conquistatore (1983) [👎] En sådan där film man måste läsa synopsiet efteråt för att få ihop storyn om vad som pågick.

Väldigt många av månadens filmer är fyndade på Prime Video, ett par på Netflix och en hel hög på tuben som vanligt. SVT Play har två representanter. Håller er undan från Cosmos Conqueror och satsa istället på Bloody Mallory eller om man föredrar engelska Dark Planet eller Teleios. Vill man se superhjältefilm men tröttnat på actionsekvenserna signerade Marvel rekommenderas Code 8.

There are a couple of GDR bands who we, in the Rammstein fandom, know of, because they are often mentioned in Rammstein lore as having been inspirations or friends of the band, but others are not as known.

One of the lesser known ones was 'Das Auge Gottes' from Schwerin, whose member Eiche Reichelt was the one who got a young Richard Kruspe to join his former band 'Das elegante Chaos'.

"The indie band from Schwerin, whose band leader once introduced Rammstein guitarist Richard Kruspe to formative music, had a promising start. But despite all visionary genius, Das Auge Gottes was too skilfully themselves - and got tangled up in the Western music business. What remains are three great albums that have lost none of their power.

Rammstein guitarist Richard Kruspe couldn't help himself: When Gert "Eiche" Reichelt celebrated his 60th birthday in 2018, he went to Schwerin. Not just to congratulate his former mentor - but above all to tell him how much he had shaped his musical path: At the end of the 80's it was an honor for Kruspe that Reichelt, who was nine years older, invited him to join the band The Elegant Chaos, because the man was considered a scene authority in Schwerin and introduced the youngster to formative underground music: Swans or Big Black or Ministry. Together they recorded the demo "Das Chaos hat gesiegt" which was released in the turmoil of 1989, then they parted ways: Kruspe went to Berlin to write history - and Reichelt started Das Auge Gottes."

02.09.2023 - Etappe 8 - Pederü -> Plätzwiese / Dürrensteinhütte

Nach Frühstück und Verabschiedung von Chen ging es los gen Plätzwiese. Erstmal steil bergan aus dem Talkessel hoch durch den Wald, teilweise über alte Militärstraßen, um dann nach dem Durchdringen der Wolkendecke, bei stahlblauen Himmel und Sonnenschein, wieder die Schönheit und Diversität der Dolomiten genießen zu können.

Auch hier waren große Teile der Strecke einem der 10 Dolomiten Höhenwegen zugeordnet und das bedeutet immer, es ist viel los, denn die meisten Fernwanderer gehen auf den Dolomiten Höhenwegen und eher selten wie wir, eine Route die verschiedene Wege kombiniert und dadurch das Ganze in meinen Augen noch viel abwechslungsreicher gestaltet, wie es 2018 bei der Alpenüberquerung von Salzburg nach Triest der Fall war. Hier haben wir täglich einige der Wanderer wieder getroffen. Dies trifft auf diese Dolomiten Tour nicht wirklich zu, jedoch haben wir auch heute die 3 jungen Männer wiedergesehen, die wir auch schon auf Etappe 6 gegrüßt haben und das sollte bis Sexten so bleiben.

Besonders angetan hat es uns heute der Seekofel (2.810 m) dessen Gesteinsschichten 90° vertikal verliefen, dass Ganze sah aus wie ein aufgeschnittenes Graubrot, unfassbar, man muss es gesehen haben!

Auf dem Weg konnten wir wieder Murmeltiere ausfindig machen, die sich ja durch vogelartige Warngeräusche bemerkbar machen - um ihre Artgenossen vor Gefahren zu warnen, heute jedoch saß eines auf einem großen Felsbrocken und hat sich scheinbar völlig entspannt gesonnt.

An der Seekofelhütte angekommen, mussten wir in Folge der urigen Schönheit und unseres Durstes einkehren, auf der Außenterrasse, um was Kühles und den herrlichen Ausblick zu genießen.

Danach ging es exponiert weiter auf einem herrlichen Berggrat bist zu einem Sattel an dem es dann bergab ging über viele Steinauffaltungen, die dass Absteigen eine Herausforderung werden ließen.

Nach einem guten Stück passierten wir die urige Rossalm, hier wären wir so gern eingekehrt, denn es gab hervorragende Alpenländische Musik, doch wir hatten immer noch 10 Km Reststrecke vor uns und 10,5 Km hinter uns.

Bald darauf mussten wir ein Geröllfeld der Kleine Gaisl (2.859 m) passieren und es wurde respekteinflößend, im oberen Teil lösten sich während der Querung mehrfach Gesteine, welche gut akustisch wahrnehmbar waren und teilweise als Staubwolke zu erkennen waren. Wir schickten uns an, besonders zügig und dennoch konzentriert den Bereich zu passieren, was nicht einfach war, da man in diesem Geröllfeld nicht von einem klar definierten und gut/einfach zu gehenden Weg sprechen konnte.

Danach ging es interessant weiter auf extrem ausgesetzten und sehr schmalen Pfaden, teils stahlseilversichert um enge Kehren, bis der große und äußerst anstrengende Abstieg gen Plätzwiese, bzw. unserer Unterkunft begann.

Es ging wieder sehr steil und sehr anstrengend bergab, es war letztendlich schon eine Qual, was nützt es - man will/muss ja zur Hütte.

Die Dürrensteinhütte, ihre Hüttenwirtin und das hervorragende Abendessen, waren dann jedoch eine große Belohnung für all die Mühen, so konnten wir nach Dusche, Kleiderwäsche und dem guten Essen tot ins Bett fallen und die Nacht genießen.

Am nächsten Tag wird es dann auf den Weg zu den Drei Zinnen gehen, die wir heute schon ganz klar ausmachen konnten, doch dazu später mehr…

in 2017, ritsuka was just an ordinary person when they were suddenly recruited to chaldea, a secret organization that works to preserve humanity. they were brought in as one of 48 master candidates--people who have the potential to summon and form contracts with servants, the spirits of legendary figures summoned as familiars--but as they aren’t a mage, people had low expectations of them. they were even prevented from joining the first major mission, a rayshift to “singularity f” in fuyuki, japan, 2004, after accidentally pissing off the director, olga-marie animusphere. turned out, that was a stroke of luck. the command room was blown up with all 47 other masters inside. they managed to survive, but in such critical condition that they’d need to be kept in cryostasis, leaving ritsuka as the only operational master. they, along with chaldea staff mash kyrielight, rayshifted to fuyuki. there, mash came into her own as a demi-servant--a living human fused with a servant and imbued with their powers--though she couldn’t say who the servant was, and ritsuka became her master. together, they solved singularity f and restored history to its proper course, only to learn of a horrible truth: the incineration of humanity. the past creates the present, which secures the future. seven disruptions at key points in history--seven singularities--had destroyed the present, which in turn prevented the future. the present, simply put, no longer existed outside of chaldea. for the next year and a half, ritsuka and mash worked to solve the seven singularities, guided by acting director dr. romani archaman, genius inventor leonardo da vinci, and the rest of the remaining staff. they went to france in the hundred years war, rome during emperor nero’s reign, the high seas in the age of exploration. in industrial revolution london, they learned who was behind it all. they won an american war that should never have happened in the first place. in camelot, they learned more about mash; in uruk, they learned of the seven beasts, the evils of humanity. and then, finally, in the last week of 2018, after so much sacrifice, they defeated the source of the problem. the present returned to normal. they took back their future. the problems, however, only persisted. the rest of the world had to deal with their missing time, and the un no longer found chaldea trustworthy. moreover, while they were being investigated over the next year, four sub-singularities popped up and had to be dealt with, and mash was no longer operational as a servant. in the end, chaldea was sold to a mage by the name of gordolf musik. its entire staff was to be laid off and replaced by the beginning of 2020, but even that couldn’t go smoothly. gordolf had been manipulated. chaldea was attacked by 3 servants: a shockingly deceptive pink-haired woman, a priest masquerading as kirei kotomine, and a woman who radiated cold, cold, cold. chaldea’s core team--now consisting of da vinci, ritsuka, mash, sherlock holmes, and gordolf--as well as a handful of staff members barely managed to escape, only to see that the outside world was now a blank white nothingness. among the masters who had been frozen were the a team, a carefully selected team consisting of the best of the best: kadoc zemlupus, ophelia phamrsolone, hinako akuta, “scandinavia peperoncino”, beryl gut, daybit sem void, and their leader, kirschtaria wodime. in their revival, they’d made a deal with… something. now each crypter, as they’re called, has a lostbelt--an alternate timeline that should have been pruned, but wasn’t--to manage, with the ultimate goal of one of them overwriting proper human history. seven crypters. seven lostbelts. can ritsuka take back our future a second time?

personality

ritsuka is, by and large, an upbeat person. they roll with the punches and accept whatever comes their way--by this point, it’s nearly impossible to shock or faze them, with everything they’ve seen. of course, that’s not to say they don’t have feelings; the events of the last few years have deeply affected them, and they’re constantly grieving over those they’ve lost. but they can’t let that keep them down. they have a job to do--and they’re the only one who can do it--so they just have to suck it up and deal with it, and let the tears come later. while on the job, they’re quite stern and serious, but in their off-time, they can be very silly. work hard, play hard, as they say. ritsuka approaches everything with equal levels of passion, whether it’s an end of the world scenario or making a last-minute doujin for knock-off comiket.

general

ritsuka is, technically, a mage, and thus able to use magecraft. that said, they're one of the weakest mages around, with very little magical energy. most of their ability comes from mystic codes and other forms of assistance.

personal abilities

command seals - three seals formed of highly concentrated magic on the back of their right hand. these are the proof that they’re a master. they can be used to cast powerful spells or give their servants orders, and once used come back at a rate of one per day. poison resistance skill (temporary) - as part of their contract with mash kyrielight, they have a resistance to poisons & toxins, high magical energy concentrations, and certain charms. high physical capabilities - though not enough to keep up with a servant, their strength, speed, and stamina are all far above the average. berserker translation - berserkers are known for being nearly incomprehensible, and many of them are outright nonverbal, only communicating in roars or grunts. that doesn’t stop ritsuka from understanding them--not quite as if they were speaking plainly, but close to it. this extends to other characters with similar communication styles!

physical objects--in ritsuka's case, outfits--imbued with magecraft. she has a wide variety of them, each with its own set of skills. a full list can be found [here].

my ritsuka follows the north american server's timeline! i myself don't actively seek out translations of chapters/events before they reach na (though i don't avoid spoilers either), so this works best for me. she is assumed to have been 16 when the game began and ages up on na's anniversary.

canon includes...

all events up to the present day are included in her canon EXCEPT for prisma codes and kogetsukan. they simply never happened. <3 agartha is technically included in her canon, but i, the bedo, did not read it and only vaguely know what happens in it.

I actually....don't know. Look I just like songs and add them to my playlist 😭 gacha songs tho– if you were in gacha in 2018-2020 you would know. Ig i like fandom songs and a bunch of random stuff. My playlist and songs I like is really diverse like you get one song that's rock, another thats pop and another that's from the 2010s ect.

If your talking about the planets however well it's kinda the same tho Saturn has all the cLaSSicAl mUsiK with like lion of the mountain ling or something 😭 Mars would blast his rock music (with head phones)and listen to it for 7 hours straight.
