#Muse: Yuri Plisetsky

Anytime I scroll through Yuri Plisetsky fanfics (especially on wattpad) they all have a reader that's "the best female skater", is really talented at skating but too scared to compete, or originally can't skate but picks it up in a stupidly short time. Don't get me wrong, I still love these fanfics, but I can't get the idea out of my head of a reader that just sucks.

I need a Yuri Plisetsky x reader where the reader can't skate for the life of them. And it's not one of those inspiring "they get better over time" deals. They stay as bad if not get worse. Anytime they step on ice they faceplant.

Seeing this, Yurio gets oddly pissed. How could someone suck so bad? Someone (Mila or Victor maybe) bets him he can't teach you and, before he knows it, he's pulling his hair in frustration from trying to teach reader to skate and failing miserably.

Reader goes along with it, not because they particularly care about learning to skate, but because they think Yurio is fun to be around. (perhaps reader does art or something else creative and Yuri is like their muse? (or he just inspires them to do better at whatever it is they do))

Sooner or later, Yurio finds himself spending time with and talking to reader outside of practice sessions. That complete incompetence at skating he once found so infuriating soon becomes endearing. When you do something goofy he can't help but let out a melodious laugh and smile with the brightness of the lights iluminating the rink. When you fall over he checks on you and helps you up.

Eventually he voices his frustrations with not being able to help you. He feels guilty. When you tell him you never really cared about learning to skate and you only went along with things because of how passionate he seemed and because you enjoyed being around him. He blanks.

You still have your little 'practice sessions', but now they consist of Yurio gently holding you, supporting you ever so tenderly, and guiding the two of you around the ice.

Your first kiss is after he gets back from one of his competitions. He meets you at the rink for another one of your 'practices', but once the two of you get on the ice you kiss him. He loses his ballance out of surprise and falls, taking you with him. Instead of yelling, his laugh rings through the building like bells. It's his turn to kiss you, so hold still, okay?
