MP100 WONDERLAND AU!!!
I will probably never write a real fic for this, so I'm gonna explain the general plot and ideas and lore and stuff as a way to introduce each character. Or you can just not read and look at the designs instead
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ritsu is our Alice,
Tumblr media
and Sho is the rabbit he chases after. Unlike the white rabbit, Sho isn't anxious - he's mischievous more than anything. While he IS trying to be on time to the Queen's croquet game at first, teasing Ritsu as he fails to catch up with him becomes his main priority.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tome and Goda (do people in this fandom call him musashi or goda?? i have never seen anyone talk about him) are the first characters Ritsu meets. They play the roles of the mouse and the dodo from the book. After the whole pool of tears thing - I'm assuming you know the general story of Alice in Wonderland - Tome infodumps at everyone, much like the mouse does in the book. Goda is basically like "that's BORING we should EXERCISE the water off of us" and then the caucus race happens!!
The scene where Alice gets stuck in the Rabbit's house does happen but I have no character assigned to Bill so I didn't draw anyone for this.
Tumblr media
Next stop is the caterpillar!! Played by Dimple. He's the ghost of a caterpillar that looked forward to becoming a butterfly, but died before reaching the chrysalis stage, and has since become a little crazed about the butterfly idea. He finds Ritsu kind of annoying but keeps talking to him because he enjoys the attention.
Tumblr media
Mezato is the Cheshire cat! Psycho Helmet is not a thing in Wonderland so her time is more devoted to being mysterious and cryptic and taking photos of people and things. Plays the cheshire cat role pretty straight.
Tumblr media
And now! The moment everyone's been waiting for! The three characters that people usually care the most about in aiw AND mp100.
Tumblr media
Reigen started the hat business with his good pals Serizawa and Mob and then went a little bonkers. The Queen sentenced him and his coworkers/friends to eternal teatime for being annoying basically. (There IS lore there, but aiw is my special interest and i could talk about that forever.) He's still very Reigen-y but always a little on edge. Basically, think about Reigen's most high-energy yet pathetic little meow meow moments, it's just that.
Tumblr media
Serizawa is just like - imagine you teleported Serizawa into the March Hare's place without warning and he just had to figure out what to do about it. That's not what happened, but that's basically how he behaves.
Tumblr media
Mob is the dormouse, but like the book version of the dormouse, he gets his time in the spotlight. (anyone out there know about the three girls in the well?? no? just me?) Because this is Ritsu's dream, nobody needs to wonder whether mousemob is humanritsu's brother. Just don't worry about it
Tumblr media
Finally, we have Teru as the Queen of Hearts. His personality definitely matches his pre/during-that-fight-with-mob self. Violent, self-absorbed fashion disaster. Sho, being his messenger, has a very "siblings who kind of hate each other" dynamic with this Teru, in my eyes.
That's it!! If anyone wants to write or draw a wonderland au based on this casting, that's totally fine because I in no way own the idea of a wonderland au. That's like, the most basic "what if this media was actually this other story?" au concept.

Rating bodies I've possessed
Reigen: 2/10 he lowkey stinks. Looking back on the situation he was my only option but I kind of regret it and should have just let him get blown away by the tornado
Shigeo: 8/10 very agile but there is absolutely no muscle in his body like at all. And he didn't stink. Didn't really get to use his psychic energy but whatever
Ritsu: 6/10 only because I didn't have control. Otherwise probably would have been the same as shigeo
Banshomaru Shinra: 0/10 weak ass snapped his tendon after some light work. Not easily maneuverable.
That one guy from when I was the LOL cult leader: 4/10 I don't even know his name but that was kind of mid.
Psycho Helmet: 10/10 until it turned on me. Then it was a 0/10
Musashi Goda: 1928297392/10 he was super strong and manageable, even without psychic energy. Gotta give the guy some credit.
Claw security guard: 7/10 pretty average but the fandom appears to have taken to that form quite well. Maybe I should find him again
Thank you

theres also terus dialogue in his debut that no one ever touches on! when he says "there are so many questions i want to ask you" before the fight, or when he begs mob not to "leave him." <- kid who was ditched by his parents at 11 to live alone bc of his esper powers. like thats good shit but the only thing people ever reference from that fight is the choking lol
missed opportunity: never seen any content that attributes mob and teruki meeting for the first time to onigawra. no body improvement club delighted to see teruki again later, as mobs friend. no edano being totally spooked seeing mob waiting for teruki outside of salt middle. i wish people would utilize the huge cast of characters more.

You ordered YIN YUANSHUAI to use his Noble Phantasm.
A massive appeared in his hands, and he rang it. The sound was heavy, almost defeaning, your own body feeling weak just by being in the proximity of the noise- thankfully, the target was elsewhere. You saw DRACO prepare something to intervene, but you threw out a hand, a shockwave of energy stopping her for just a moment as her balance was lost and she fell forward, crushed against the immense gravity of his Soul-Falling Bell.
She was still awake, still fighting, but the immense gravity of the paopei had her pinned against the ground.
DRACO: "You… curs…! I'll… kill you all…!"
She snarled.
Which made it clear to her that she was going to stay and fight you and your group. She didn't have much of a choice. Fight you off until she could escape. It was straightforward. She knew her strength, she would make it work somehow. However...
The transformation you chose?
That was a step too far.
That was what made it clear to her that she was going to kill you no matter what, escape and the other Servants be damned.
Not make you suffer. Not grant you punishment. No worrying for her own safety. No theatrics, no gloating, no playing with her food.
She was simply going to kill you. Because she had said so earlier, and had apparently made a mistake in backing off. And in her eyes, this was mockery for not following through. 'If the Imperator is so cowardly as to not execute us, then we can do as we please'- words like that in your voice pierced her head like a ringing bell, her migraine flaring.
In her eyes, that was the affront to her that sealed your fate.
Tumblr media
You felt the transformation take hold. The elegant kimono changing into sturdy armor, wild blonde hair spilling out and into your face, a billowing cape flowing behind you and the weight- the immense weight- of twin horns sprouting from your head.
You saw DRACO's expression grow cold-- deathly cold and frigid as ice-- as she pushed against the gravity. Her eyes didn't break away from yours, and you saw in her eyes the meaning of loathing.
Her tail thrashed. Chaotically, petulantly, like the actions of a spoiled child. The types of movements that would draw ones eyes for only a moment, before attention would be focused elsewhere on more important matters.
Like her grail.
It had spilled out against the ground. Clattered. Similarly pressed against the ground due to the immense gravitational weight.
She crawled, reaching for it. Her nails bled as they dug into the stone below, her pale face bruising and bleeding as it scraped against rock. With her youthful frame, it seemed pitiful. If one wasn't aware she was a Beast, one may have felt inclined to help her.
The grail was glistening. Beautiful. Adorned with gems. So when her fingers just barely grazed it, and the gems began to flash, that's what your Servants focused on. You watched as SUZUKA sprinted forward, blade drawn. YIN raising his hands, preparing another curse. MUSASHI, pushing herself up to her feet and drawing her own blades.
In slow motion, the beginning of a fight. A doubled attempt to keep her pinned, at the very least, so that you could do what you needed to do. That grail could manifest curses that could manifest great suffering, gravity from the bell or not. If she regained control of it, things would turn for the worse in an instant.
And while this was happening in slow motion, there were a few minor details that had slipped their attention as they attempted to stop DRACO from laying hands upon the grail.
...Like how, despite her struggles to gain the grail, her eyes never broke contact with yours.
...Or, most importantly, they weren't paying attention to the tail that had stopped thrashing petulantly and had instead been slowly and deliberately dragging across the ground and curling so that the tip faced you.
For this was still Nero, and all the world was her stage.
And then-
Tumblr media
A beam of red light. Devastatingly fast.
Right between your eyes. You learned something important. These bodies could feel pain. Agony. And they also made you vulnerable.
No fanfare. No music. No thunderous applause.
Just darkness.
Just desolation.
Just death.
And the final thing you hear as the world fades from your eyes is DRACO's voice, coming out as a low, bitter hiss.
Tumblr media
"...Infinitus est numerus stultorum... I grant you mercy by delaying your execution, and you spit in my face. I'll make sure your transgressions are punished even after your demise."
Certainly, this was a…

another random observation rant from 1⃣ apologizer anon (it got quite long, I'm sorry 🥲)
sometimes futamata uses scientific concepts for togabito powers
most obvious example would be musashi and his battle against ikkaku when he was able to convert electrical energy from attacks into thermal energy and adsorb it without damage (which is cool af btw)
most confusing for me was (and still is) elf? what is he exactly? if I understood correctly, he doesn't have physical body yet somehow he can have presence when there ppl infected with him
so let me introduce you concept of clonally transmissible cancer! yay
a transmissible cancer is a cancer cell or cluster of cancer cells that can be transferred between individuals, these cells are basically parasites, that mutated from regular cancer cells in very specific conditions, it's super rare even in animals
most documented is CTVT founded in dogs and other canines
so imagine there was a dog a long long time ago, that dog got cancer and then that cancer cells mutated
these cells act like separate organism and can be transmitted to other dogs but still are identifiable as that poor first dog even after many many years, a parasite that technically is immortal dog
this is very similar to how i imagine elf power to work
he was an actual person before but now exist as cells with some sort of hive mind that reside in different hosts are able to replicate inside and ultimately take over their host
HELP THAT'S ACTUALLY SO COOL.
No notes. This is just genuinely very interesting. Wikipedia article on CTVT, if anyone's interested.

There needs to be more Musashi/New Jersey here, so uhh HCs:
- The feelings were always there, but it didn't click for NJ that she felt that way towards Musashi until she got her chin tilted up by Musashi's sword after another spar.
- Musashi's ears are sensitive, something NJ exploits to great effect. While to most people, Musashi doesn't seem to be effected due to her control over her emotions, NJ can pick up on the subtle look in Musashi's eyes and her slightly more unsteady tone to see how much Musashi l o v e s to have her ears stroked.
- They take turns being the big spoon (NJ wants to curl up around her treasure, Musashi wants to wrap the most precious person to her in her tails and body protectively)
- Musashi loves NJ for her energy, goofiness, playfulness, and endless confidence. It's refreshing to her how direct NJ is about how she feels. NJ is also very dashing to Musashi when the former is in combat.
-NJ loves Musashi for that feeling of calm and safety she gets from Musashi. The way it feels like she's perpetually in the calm, warm, eye of the storm. She's aware of the utter destruction her lover brings to those that'd hurt her or everyone else at port, but as soon as those golden eyes rest on her, there is only warmth and calm in them.
- Their dynamic while at port and off-duty can best be described by this image:
Tumblr media
- They're both a little miffed about carriers replacing battleships in the flagship role. (Although I can see battleships staying in service in AL much longer than IRL due to carriers being generally very allergic to being in gun range and the Sirens being capable of teleporting to well-within gun range)
- After the war, they both open a successful worker co-op bunny bar with other kansen that'd be interested (NJ's pole dances are still exclusively reserved for Musashi, their friends, and SKK).
- NJ's terms of endearment for Musashi: "Sushi", "honey", "my big, floofy, storm goddess", "MILFsushi"
- Musashi's terms of endearment for NJ: "little dragon", "little rabbit", "my strong black dragon", "honbun" (at NJ's insistence), "my love"

An Abbreviated History of Mecha Part 7: The Witching Hour Is Here!
Spoiler Warning: This post contains spoilers for one Brave Bang Bravern. I'd recommend watching at least the first episode of Bravern before continuing.
Tumblr media
Welcome to the final installment of An Abbreviated History of Mecha! Last time, we had some technical difficulties due to the Lich screwing things up with its time shenanigans covered what many would consider to be mecha's "Dark Age." Now, we will see how the genre has recovered. It remains to be seen how this decade will go down in history, but so far mecha shows have had a minor bit of a rebound. Though that insipid line of thinking (you've probably heard it at one point: "mecha shows are about the robots, not the characters") is still doing a bit of harm to the general reception of mecha shows, the canon is doing better than before. Not well, like it was in the 90's, but it's not in dire straits.
Victory is never decided by mobile suit performance alone.
Nor by the skill of the pilot, alone.
The result itself is the only proof!
Kyoukai Senki/AMAIM: Warrior At the Borderline (2021)
Tumblr media
Kicking off the decade, 2021 would give us a new franchise in the form of the former Xebec, now Sunrise Beyond series AMAIM: Warrior At the Borderline. Sporting smaller robots in a setting similar to Code Geass but Japan was split into three by three world superpowers like it was Post-World War II Germany, AMAIM would be one of the few new mecha shows to come out that would be animated entirely in 2D.
Megaton Musashi (2021)
Tumblr media
Developed by Level-5 Studios, Megaton Musashi is a game series that pays homage to the mecha stories of old, particularly that of Getter Robo. The game itself would suffer in terms of marketing, as Level-5 would end up shuttering their US studio in this decade. Which is wild, because this series would also get an anime adaptation that's only started airing this year.
Also, Megaton Musashi has a lot of crossovers with older mecha shows like Getter Robo and Combattler V.
SSSS.Dynazenon (2021) & Gridman Universe (2023)
Tumblr media
Returning in 2021 would be Studio Trigger with the follow-up to SSSS.Gridman, SSSS.Dynazenon. Based off of the Dyna Dragon from the original Gridman the Hyper Agent, SSSS.Dynazenon would carry on the energy from its predecessor in terms of energy and heart.
2023 would also see the worlds of SSSS.Gridman and SSSS.Dynazenon collide with the movie finale Gridman Universe, bringing the casts of both shows together for one last hurrah for Trigger's Gridman trilogy.
Back Arrow (2021)
Tumblr media
While 2021 was a good year for mecha in general, one show that doesn't get talked about more is Goro Taniguchi's Back Arrow. Set in the walled world of Lingalind, Back Arrow would give us a story where the mecha are powered by a character's convictions.
That's right! Back Arrow is quite possibly the single greatest series in terms of highlighting what piloted giant robots are all about. These stories were never about the giant robot itself; the giant robots were living extensions of the pilots who controlled them. Hence why the breiheights of Back Arrow are based purely on a character's core beliefs.
Getter Robo Arc (2021)
Tumblr media
2020 would also see the surprise announcement of an adaptation of the unfortunately unfinished Getter Robo Arc. With the goal of wrapping up the story as best as possible without the guiding hand of series creator Ken Ishikawa, Getter Robo Arc's anime adaptation would finally release in 2021. With this, the Getter Robo saga can finally come to an end.
If you've already watched his video on Getter Robo, Cheese GX also has a follow-up covering Getter Robo Arc specifically.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway's Flash (2021) & Cucuruz Doan's Island (2022)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And in case you didn't believe me when I said 2021 was a good year for mecha, let me remind you of something: Gundam was featured as part of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. Gundam would see the creation of the now-disassembled RX-78-2 Gundam in Yokohama as part of the celebration of the games. The RX-0 Gundam Unicorn would also make a cameo in the background during the Olympic Rock Climbing event, as Gundam Front Tokyo was the venue.
Most important of all for us, is that 2021 would see the release of part one of a trilogy of movies based on the Hathaway's Flash novel. And as if that wasn't enough, 2022 would also see the release of a movie based on the infamous episode of the original series known as Cucuruz Doan's Island. And as a reminder: Gundam's not done yet. I haven't even gotten to the other big Gundam series yet. These were just the two major series released for the Universal Century in this decade.
Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury (2022)
Tumblr media
Where Gundam made really big news in this decade was with the release of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury. Set in the Ad Stella timeline, G-Witch would bring awareness to the franchise that hadn't really been seen since it's heyday in the 90's. G-Witch would also differentiate itself from the rest of the Gundam series by presenting us with Gundam's first female main protagonist, the very tanuki-coded Suletta Mercury (and that depends, because if we're saying Gundam protagonist, then I'd argue technically War in the Pocket's Christina McKenzie has Suletta beat by a couple decades; this isn't even getting into Ecoile du Ciel). And not only is she the first female protagonist, Suletta is also Gundam's first queer protagonist!
Bullbuster (2023)
Tumblr media
If there is any series that I wish I had caught while it was airing last year, it would definitely be Bullbuster. Cut from the same cloth as Patlabor and Dai-Guard, Bullbuster presents to us a construction robot is used to fight... aliens?
LEGO movie, is that you?
Okay, seriously though, I do think Bullbuster got drowned out due to being in a year that also included The Witch From Mercury.
Brave Bang Bravern (2024)
Tumblr media
Man, if you thought The Witch From Mecury was gay...
2024 would open with Cygames Studio's Brave Bang Bravern. Directed by Masami Obari (a man who I have somehow failed to mention until now), Bravern would manage to capture the joy of the Brave franchise of old (and really mecha shows on the whole), all while making it very gay.
And I mean it. Bravern is quite possibly the single gayest show to come out in the 2020's. Maybe even of all time.
And that's really a wrap on pretty much everything that's come out, but there is one upcoming series set to come out next month...
Grendizer U (Airs July 2024)
Tumblr media
Not seeming to want to be left out, the Mazinger saga would also get a surprise announcement in 2023 with a teaser for Grendizer U. Set to air in 2024, Grendizer U is going to be a reboot of the original UFO Robot Grendizer series, though some changes have been made (namely, Kouji has now brought along both Sayaka and Professor Yumi; more importantly, Kouji will now be piloting Mazinger Z instead of playing a support role like he did in the original Grendizer).
You can bet that I will be covering this series, especially if it's picked up by Crunchyroll this coming summer.
Looking Beyond Grendizer U & 2024: Live-action Gundam, Hathaway Parts 2 & 3, Gunbuster 3, and Patlabor EZY
Tumblr media
Going beyond 2024, there are also other series that are set to be released some time in this decade. 2016 saw the release of the Patlabor Reboot promo, which is supposedly a test run for a new Patlabor series: Patlabor EZY. Supposedly set to air sometime in 2026 (at least last I saw), I'm as excited about this as Isao Ohta is about any type of gun that comes across his path.
Studio Gaina (again, not to be confused with the now-closed Gainax) also has plans to release Gunbuster 3, though that will probably be on the shelves for now until Grendizer U wraps up.
And of course, Gundam still has two more parts of the Hathaway movies to work on. There's also a live-action Gundam series that is also in the works at Legendary.
Conclusion
And that's a wrap, folks. Finally, after ten whole posts, I've covered an incomplete history of mecha! Yes that's right! Incomplete! Why did you think it was called abbreviated?
Jokes aside, I thought this would be a relatively simple project. Just cover a handful of mecha shows from the decades since their inception, say a thing or two about them, and move on. It turns out that, even when I cherry-picked the shows to talk about, there were still a lot of them.
Do I regret doing it, though? No. Well, maybe that bit about Valvrave specifically. Outside of that, I think it is important that this series of posts still exist. I tried my best to be as impartial as possible, and hopefully you, dear reader, have caught that. I really don't want this project to turn out to be identical in tone to Professor Otaku's Complete History of Mecha video series. Man literally cannot hide his disdain for shows he doesn't like very well, and I think it does a massive disservice to both his series and himself.
What I want you to take away from this series of posts is: every show I covered on here is someone's favorite. I've seen at least one person go to bat for every series I named here. I've done it for G Gundam and Patlabor, and I plan on doing it for a couple more series on here. The real important thing here is that this post helps in dismissing that wrong-headed claim of "mecha shows are just about the robots and not the characters." Which is a thing I will talk about soon.
But not right now. Now I want to rest. And by rest, I mean throwing my wrist out while playing The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.
Tumblr media
God Groose is such a great character.

One thing I keep asking myself now in relation to Ahsoka is: does Filoni like samurai films? Does he have thoughts about any of them? And if he does, why isn't any of it in the show?
For contrast, regardless of anyone's views on The Last Jedi, Rian Johnson engaged with the genre. Rather than just pull from things that had already been used by Star Wars, he explored. He understood the themes of Rashomon and Three Outlaw Samurai, and understood why those films work. You can tell that he has a relationship to and appreciation for the material. He borrows Rashomon's "three versions of the story" and echoing that film, the truth lands in a murky in-between which exposes a critical error by a character, but also incites them to an act of real moral courage. The energy of Three Outlaw Samurai, meanwhile, comes through in the slovenly DJ and the frantic, scrappy melee combat.
In the same way, Andor and Rogue One are applying more than just the aesthetics of espionage thrillers and modern war movies to SW (also they understood what those aesthetics are for). For that matter, TCW's Umbara arc used Vietnam War film nods pretty well.
The Mandalorian, I think, has increasingly lost the sense of having anything to say with its Western elements, and in Ahsoka and its repeated riffing on samurai movies, it's even more frustrating. Characters pose with their lightsabers in ways that mimick the likes of Toshiro Mifune, there are musical echoes, the framing vaguely evokes those films at times... yet it stops there, at the surface. They're not doing anything more than The Jedi was when borrowing frames from Yojimbo back in Mando S2. It begins to feel solely performative, doing homage to the things which influenced Lucas because they influenced Lucas (and missing the fact that Lucas adored these films because they are terrific works of art).
And that doesn't even get into how much of Kurosawa's actual style isn't imitated at all here. Kineticism, the thing which the master did better than basically anyone else, is pretty much absent, let alone his dramatic use of weather and smoke.
The reason I'm harping on about this is that Filoni and his writers room could really have made hay if they dug into these stories, because they would've found themes that informed the story they were ostensibly setting out to tell. Plenty of Kurosawa films are about ronin (sometimes left masterless by a war that destroyed their clans) and their ambiguous, often fraught relationships with the rest of the world.
Seven Samurai, Yojimbo and Sanjuro all get into this stuff. The former also asks searching questions about what place there is for a warrior in a land at peace, which Masaki Kobayashi's Harakiri explores through a much darker and more cynical lens. All of that feels extremely applicable to an Ahsoka who is meant to be scarred by her experiences and feels a gap in her life, where so much of the Jedi's traditional role as peacekeepers and protectors was meant to go. (There is a similar struggle at the heart of David Kirk's wonderful Musashi Miyamoto novels).
But instead we end up with this very shallow attempt at doing homage, which comes out as rather disrespectful in itself when you break it down.

Musashi, rival.
'Oof, bad luck there Musa!' 'Do not be so quick to assume my defeat. This is a battle to be strategized over, not some skirmish to run headlong into.' Despite her words, she could not stop the curl of her lips, not when faced with New Jersey's infectious energy.
It was New Jersey who had dragged her to the party, red solo cup in hand and challenged her to a game.
'Still got to face the battle after downing that one though! Or are you conceding already?' 'For that? I believe you would have to make me~' 'Oh, I will.'

I had an idea for Demon Slayer x Record of Ragnarok crossover
As we know Sasaki never stopped training after he died, and for a while he trained himself against his mental image of Musashi
Well, you and I both know if he hears about any of the demon slayers and what they do with their breathing techniques he would be asking them to teach him
My idea is that he stumbles upon Yoriichii training in preparation for when Muzan arrives so he can give him even greater PTSD and Sasaski asks him to teach him
I don’t know if he would learn any breathing styles but he would learn Total Concentration Breathing at the very least and he would train against any demon slayer that shows up in Valhalla who is willing
Imagine how his fight against Poseidon would after training with Demon Slayers and the various Hashira
The only way I can think to make him even more of a threat is if he meets some of the demons (Rui, Akaza, Kokoushiou, Gyutaro and Daki specifically) who are probably surprised Sasaki is actually asking to fight them instead of immediately attacking them or running away in fear. Sasaski of course then learns all sorts of things from them as well
-Yoriichi remembered that day well, when an older samurai stumbled across him training, and a smile came to the Demon Slayer’s lips as he remembered the bright sparkle in Kojiro’s eyes.
-After his death, Kojiro never stopped training, being one of the few humans in Valhalla to grow older, to match his experience until he reached his peak.
-Yoriichi never met someone like Kojiro before, friendly, warm, almost always had a smile on his face, but also so hard-working and focused.
-It was this focus that helped Yoriichi make his decision to train Kojiro himself, training him how to use breathing styles to hone his attacks and skills even more.
-It was hard for Kojiro, the training was unlike anything he had dealt with, but he earned Yoriichi’s respect by never giving up, he kept working at it.
-Kojiro never did learn any of the breathing styles, only Total Concentration Breathing, but paired with his strength and hard work, it proved to be a boon for Kojiro’s arsenal.
-Yoriichi found it funny, when his brother arrived in Valhalla, the two spending time with each other, not fighting, when Kojiro chased Kokushibo around, begging for a fight.
-The demon was much like his younger brother, he had never met a human like Kojiro, who was actually excited to meet him, not afraid of him in the slightest, and wanted to fight him.
-Kokushibo could easily sense the strength in Kojiro’s swings and had they been fighting seriously, to the death, Kokushibo knew that both of them wouldn’t be walking away unscathed.
-Kojiro kept in touch with the brothers over the years, practicing more and more, and whenever he found a Demon Slayer who was willing to spar with him, they were always stunned that he knew Total Concentration Breathing!!
-Demons were another group that Kojiro had the pleasure of knowing, he approached several of them, not counting Kokushibo whom he had a friendly relationship with, with no fear and greeting them warming, wanting to have a sparring match with them.
-While thrown off at first, a few, like Akaza and Daki grew fond of the older samurai, Akaza because he could tell the strength he had, and Daki found him amusing to be around.
-The cheering section for Kojiro wasn’t just his past opponents, other warriors, several demons and Demon Slayers, having a momentary truce, were also there, cheering for him.
-Gyutaro had told hold his sister back after she tried to leap into the fight after Poseidon injured the samurai, “How dare he hurt my Kojiro!! Let me go big brother!!”
-Poseidon prepared to launch his final attach, after Kojiro got his sword snapped and after the pieces became two swords, ready to lunge.
-Kojiro shifted one of his legs back and inhaled deeply through his teeth as he closed his eyes. Poseidon felt the burst of energy at the last second, when Kojiro’s eyes snapped open as he charged, slicing the god into several pieces.
-Yoriichi was surprised by the strength behind his attack but felt proud as Kojiro was announced the winner, and he couldn’t help but smile softly when Kojiro grinned warmly up at him.
-There were beings on both sides, demons and demon slayers, who had to question, if they could get along to cheer on this samurai, was peace an option in Valhalla?
-A few glances went around between the two groups, silently asking each other that question.
