Mitte, she tried to keep her nose out of most things that happened at the hospital when she was there for blood. Sick people, y'know, death and grief and all that, some things even she didnt want to take too much advantage of. So yeah, she agreed with Jessie. Some things were just bigger than she was interested in being part of.

"Ah, sure sure." Well, there were people for that- Mitte had made useful connections long before she'd been a vampire, and before that even she'd adapted to living a life that left as little of a paper trail as possible. Maybe it kept her a little unconventional, but the norm had never really been for her anyway, she liked the fringes much better. "We all figure out our own method for getting by. I've never been one for much social media, anyway." Never really had the phone for it, preferred burners.

It would become more of a problem if she lived long enough, Mitte was sure, but hopefully she'd have gleaned enough information by then to make it work. "Yeah, well that's the benefit of this place I guess, people see all kinds of weird stuff already. There's bartenders with wings." Mitte shrugs and grins, "so you're probably good here, for a while. You planning on sticking around long- or are you more of a wait and see how it goes kinda gal?"

The most beautiful part of @yamujiburo hanamusa's lore for me is Ash's emotional evolution and acceptance. For a character that surprisingly did not evolve much in its own journey (in a show full of evolutions) and made the same mistakes year after year, this proximity with Jessie is my most expected part of this story

The two of us running this blog, as well as all of Bulbagarden's staff members and users, would like to offer our heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and fans of Rachael Lillis, who passed away on August 10, 2024, at the age of 55.

It's truly difficult to properly convey the impact Rachael had on our lives, as she was the original voice actress of Misty and Jessie for eight seasons of the Pokémon anime, from 1998 to 2006. Her impact was not just felt in Pokémon, but also in titles such as Revolutionary Girl Utena and Hunter x Hunter, and it's safe to say that she was a beloved member of our fandom that will be sorely missed.

Our thoughts are with Rachael's family and loved ones as we take a moment to remember and commemorate her life and work, which will certainly never be forgotten.

Thank you, Rachael, and rest in peace.

Here’s my second big Procreate Dreams animation! Really challenged myself hard with this one!

Remember that storyboard I did for a Minecraft character meeting the Warden? The beginning of the storyboard involved several shots showing the character running away from mobs until they reached an area the mobs wouldn’t step foot into. I decided to make that chase scene into one continuous shot.

I modeled up a cave in a 3D animation program and moved the camera around to what I hoped would be an appropriate path. Once rendered I imported this into Procreate Dreams and began animating on top of it, using a grid to be my guidelines to help me keep the character proportional.

After a rough animation was done, I went back and refined it. Then I inked and colored it. Finally I added a shadow layer on top and a glow layer for the torch. Took me about half a month (15 days) to complete.

I’m really proud of this one. I thought I would animate it in Procreate like I did the last one, but because of the nature of needing to match the art with the background I found it was much easier to just animate it entirely in Dreams.

I’ll post a breakdown later when I have a chance.
