!!!!! I remember being obsessed with this AMV 20 years ago! *childhood memories intensify*

One of my favorite Pokemon AMVs! I am pretty sure I saw it when it was brand-spanking new back in 2002! On a Team Rocket fansite! (although I can't remember which one)

Recently, I wanted to try to find the AMV again, and although I remembered plenty of the visuals, I forgot what the song was! The most clear part I could remember was that Jessie was drifting in the water, singing "you and me..." ...which is the least useful lyric to remember!!! How am I supposed to search for the song with the lyric "you and me", omg, lol. But eventually I finally got more words of the song to resurface in my brain and remembered it was Don't Speak by No Doubt!!! Which I know is a ridiculous thing to forget but, ah well.

With that information, I managed to find it on animemusicvideos.org and it is by meredithgracek!

And it's still a great AMV! I'd say it has an even more bittersweet impact now that the Pokemon anime has ended. But Jessie and James are forever!

This scene is just SO funny to me. They saw Gary approaching and literally set up a stage, went the theatrical route with their motto, and then realized he took a completely different route just to avoid them.

Like y’all, hang up the uniforms, and get a career in showbiz, cause that’s obviously what y’all were born to do.
