“Giggle! Giggle!” Cyn said, watching her big brother zoom around the room. N paused his running in front of her and smiled.”Boof!” He said, doing a little stomp as if to emphasize it, which Cyn found to be very silly.”Giggle! Laugh! Laugh!” She cheered, throwing her head back and her arms up into the air. She began to lean too far back, but N caught her and pulled her back up.”Be caweful, li’l sis.” He said. Cyn reached up at his face and did the grabby hands motion.”Grabby. Hands.” She said. Not quite understanding what she wanted, N tilted his head to the side and reached for her so he could pick her up. Once she was in his arms, she wrapped her arms around him.”Hug.” She said. N smiled and his tail wagged.

In Cyn’s opinion, her big brother’s hugs could only be rivaled by Tessa’s. He’s not soft and squishy like her or other humans, but he’s definitely warmer. Plus, his hugs always give her and anyone who receives them a sense of protection. J’s hugs are also protective, but as stated before, N is always very warm, so he gets an extra few points for that. V’s hugs were always gentle and loving, and Cyn definitely enjoying receiving them.

Speaking of V, she was coming back soon to continue watching them even though N claimed that he had it covered. After a few seconds, Cyn looked up at N.”Can. I. Play. With. Dolls?” She asked. N let go of her and zoomed over to the toy bin full of dolls Tessa had for her and Cyn to play with. Instead of grabbing two or three, he picked up the whole bin and brought it over to Cyn for her to pick, his tail wagging the entire time as he felt very happy and proud of himself for making her happy. He even held it at an angle so that she could reach them better.“Thank. You. Big. Brother N!” Cyn said.

“You’we welcome! Boof!” He replied. Cyn reached forward and grabbed two dolls, muttering the word “grab” twice as she did. She moved to lay on her belly and N left to put the bin back.”Lay down. Play. Play.” Cyn said to herself. When N came back, he sat next to her and smiled.

After a few minutes of playing in her own little world and N constantly looking around the room, Cyn suddenly looked worried. She turned to look up at him.”You. Will. Protect me. From. Bad. People, right?” She asked. N didn’t understand where this suddenly came from, but he knew the answer.“Of couwse! Youw big bwodew N will always do his best to keep you safe and happy!” He replied, putting his hand up to his forehead to give her a playful little salute. Cyn felt better hearing that and smiled.“Smile, small. Giggle. Thank. You. You’re! The best! Big! Brother! Ever!” She said. N felt proud of himself hearing that and like zooming around in happiness, but remained seated by Cyn’s side.”Tank you!! Boof! Boof!” He said happily.

Outside the room, V was watching their interaction with Louisa, Tessa’s mother. Louisa put a hand over her heart and smiled.“Aww, he’s so sweet! Why didn’t you think me meeting him was a good idea?” Louisa asked. Suddenly, N shot up to his feet and changed his screen to show a stretched out X mark, which according to him, happened whenever he was ready to attack. He put himself between Cyn and Louisa and stood up at his full height, which was only a few inches shorter than Louisa. His tail raised up and was pointed at her threateningly as his mouth stretched out into a scary smile with sharp fangs. Louisa stared at him for a few seconds. Truth be told, she was quite intimidated by his response to hearing her. V grabbed her arm and pulled him out on N’s line of sight.“Cyn said he’s terrified of humans, but he’s okay with Tessa, so I think it’s just adults. Or any human bigger than him.” She said. Louisa nodded to show she understood.

Flip! N Headcanons Pt. 1☆

A/N: Okay so for the past two days I’ve been having a very mild brain rot about murder drones (I binged watched it within the span of a day and a half) and I just CANNOT get the idea of a flip N out of my head so that’s what we’re doing today! These are mainly going to be Regressor! N headcanons and then I’ll have CG! N headcanons in another part! (I apologize beforehand for my rambling 💀)

🐶 Okay so first things first, yes I do think N would be a flip and I think he would do an AMAZING job at it! He’s definitely a mix between a puppy pet regressor and a boy regressor

⤷ 💛 I feel like he would regress for a lot of reasons and sometime struggle with why he does it in the first place (being that he’s a robot and doesn’t experience childhood normally) my headcanon is that he found out about regression somehow while learning about humans or during his time with Tessa and it’s just been a private thing ever since! His age range is 0-10 and it varies between days! He’s kinda just all over the place and goes with what he feels!

🐾 N definitely loves to play all the time and will have many amounts of chew toys (could be real ones that he found or just yknow- metal he finds) He has a problem for sure with not chewing too much on his toys either! (Golden retrievers have gentle mouths but this golden puppy doesn’t know his own strength :”])

🐶 He will absolutely MELT for some pets and will always wag his tail when he gets some! (This does result in him getting lightly scolded if he’s not careful with his tail :”]) If he’s particularly pet regressed a little puppy nose will pop up between his eyes too! (Yes he makes perfect puppy noises too teehee)

💛 When he’s regularly regressed he will ALWAYS babble if he’s young enough, he just loves to talk and will always want to engage in some form of talk with you!

⤷🐾 Same goes for when he’s pet regressed he will bark, whine and howl to his hearts content!

🐶 N absolutely LOVES to get praised for absolutely anything ever he just loves to be a good boy! He wants to be all the good things! Smart, cute, good, playful just a perfect little puppy!

💛 N will pretty much freely regress whenever! (No one notices in the first place because it’s not much more different than how he usually acts x]) But! He only lets people who he really trusts care for and babysit him! Much less let them know he’s regressing in the first place

🐾 Speaking more about N loving praise this leads to how he acts when he’s little and all there is to say really is that he’s just a little angel! He’s never bratty and never a troublemaker because all he wants to do is be a good boy! He’ll even go as far to ask whoever is taking care of him if they need any help with anything and do chores with them!

🐶 Another thing about little N is that he loves to cuddle all the time. If anything he gets a tiny little bit anxious when he’s NOT touching someone. It can be as small as some hand holding to as smothering as a long cuddle or just being held 💛 he’s a sweet boy and always needs his snuggle fix :3

💛 It’s not often for him but if he ever does go nonverbal while regressing he’ll just write what he wants to say on his screen for people to read :> sometimes it’ll be little emoticons too just for cuteness :3

🐾 Yes N loves to dress up all cutesie when he’s little when he can! Especially if it’s something extra cute! Yellows and blues are particularly his favorites!

🐶 When he’s regressed (not as a puppy) and wants to play his favorite thing is to play pretend! Pretend has so many possibilities to do and he wants to do every single one!

💛 N will draw cards and letters for all his loved ones and it’s really a ritual for him he loves to express himself and even if no one keeps them it makes him feel good to have done it in the first place! :3

🐾 N does have various little gear things but he always has to be very careful when he uses them just because his fangs tend to get in the way :”]

Chapter 3 of Caregiver N!! I’m sorry it’s shorter than you probably expected, I just wasn’t sure of the scenario I would use for a long time, but I kinda like this one! Thank you for being so patient with me, and again, I’m sorry to disappoint you with another short chapter.

V looked outside the window nervously, clutching her fox kit plushie in her hands anxiously. Heavy rain pattered and trailed down the window, the dark clouds above concealing the moon’s light. If she looked for a few minutes, she could see the outlines of the clouds. The edges of them were a lighter grey than the middle, but since the clouds were so close together, she couldn’t tell where one cloud ended and another began. They looked more like bridges connecting the clouds now. A loud crack of thunder boomed through the night sky, followed by a bright flash of lightning and startling V. She yelped and dashed over to Tessa’s bed to hide under it.

Under the bed, she was now laying on her belly and covering her “ears”. She waited for the next clap and soon began whimpering. A few minutes later, she heard another clap of thunder and yelped again. She squeezed her eyes shut and put a bit more pressure on her audio receptors to try to ignore it. The wooden floor under her wasn’t very comfortable. There was no softness to it and it was a little cold. V wanted to hug her plushie for comfort, but then she realized she didn’t have it. She looked next to her, but it wasn’t there. She quickly realized that she must’ve dropped it when she dove underneath the bed. She turned around and lifted the edge of the big blankets covering Tessa’s bed to look for the plushie. It laid on its side where she previously sat.

V tried to reach for it, not wanting to leave her hiding spot, but she couldn’t. When she knew she wouldn’t be able to get it without getting out, she pondered wether or not she should actually take that course of action. She waited to see if the thunder would return.

Nothing. Just the sound of the rain.

Slowly, she began to crawl out from under the bed. The ears of her fox onsie were pulled back slightly by the bed frame, but once she was far enough, they flopped back forward. V had only taken a few steps before she heard it again and quickly scrambled back to her hiding place. She covered her ears and closed her eyes again.

V continued whimpering, listening to the thunder every few minutes and fearing the next one, until she felt something tap her shoulder. She screamed, thinking somehow that lightning had struck through the house and the tap was just the calm before the storm, and opened her eyes. N was crouched down in front of the bed and lifted part of the blanket. He looked at her worryingly.”Everything okay?” He asked. V quickly crawled out and wrapped her arms around him to seek comfort. His expression softened and he picked her up to set her down in his lap and hug her easier. Just then, another clap of thunder filled the silence and made V jump and tense up. N patted her on the head.”It’s only clouds bumping into each other, no need to worry.” He said calmly.

“But it’s so loud.” V mumbled. N nodded in agreement and carefully wrapped his tail around the fox plushie behind him, careful not to scratch it with the stinger.”Yeah, I know, but it can’t hurt you.” He said, bringing the plushie around him and holding it next to V. She noticed the tail moving next to her and looked over, almost smiling when she saw the plushie.”Trixie!” She said. N waited until she had removed her arms from around him and was reaching for it to loosen his grip on it and let it fall into her hands, still hugging her. V hugged the plushie tight and soon began to feel better. She had her plushie and her caregiver with her, she was safe. When the next flash of lightning briefly illuminated the room, V jumped again, but was quickly calmed down by N distracting her.”How about some of that hot chocolate and the storybook I grabbed on my way here?” He suggested.

That was the reason why he left in the first place, to get her some hot chocolate. In a split second, she had forgotten about the storm outside and nodded. N smiled and picked her up to put her on Tessa’s bed. He then walked over to the nearby nightstand and picked up a sippy cup, presumably filled with hot chocolate, and a thin story book next to it. He sat down on the bed and handed her the sippy cup, grabbing the book with his other hand and clearing his throat.

The book was one of V’s favorites, a recently published children’s book about a fox kit finding her way home after a big storm. She leaned against him and looked at the picture of the first two pages as he wrapped one of his arms around her and began reading.”The little fox kit...”

Looking for some help finding a term for something.

So, *technically* I’m a pet regressor. Using that label doesn’t really sit right with me though bc of the connotation of being small/cute animals that comes along with it, and that is very much not what I do. I go kinda feral pretty much (think animalistic excitability in a more agressive and hunting-related way), and technically it fits under the definition of petre, but at the same time doesn’t quite fit it? If that makes any sense.

Is there a term out there to describe this kind of thing? Cause we’ve never really interacted with the agere/petre communities before and are kinda lost on where to look for terms and stuff lol.
