had a nightmare that i lived in a futuristic scifi city where teleportation had become the norm and replaced all other forms of transportation and one day i suddenly became aware that teleportation kills people and just creates a clone of them that thinks it's the same person and that if i ever teleported again i would die, and that every time one of my friends or family teleports they die, that i'm not even the original me, that all newborn babies live a few hours at most, until their first teleportation. but no one would believe me and treated me like i was crazy and my life was almost impossible without teleportation because there were no more roads connecting cities and all stairs and elevators had been removed so i couldnt get to my job or the grocery store or do pretty much anything. in the end i had to gaslight myself into just pretending the people around me weren't dying and the copies were really them because after all it's stupid to mourn someone standing right next to you isn't it? if you only spend a few hours with each iteration what meaning does it have?

This is a kinda silly creepypasta entity type thing I thought up based on Wobbledogs. Hear me out:

Basically, a wobbledogs game is left on automatic for an extended period of time, and wow! Rare chance! A dog with a beta head is born! (This is EXTREMELY rare even when you're breeding two beta head dogs together btw)

This dog, unlike all the others, is born sentient. It goes about its life trying to learn and figure out why it's even here.

And then the player returns.

And sees they are special.

The beta dog, knowing the implications, is fed a dog core to keep it alive for longer. And then, they're left again.

Alone, but now knowing actions only the god hand was capable of before.

The sentient dog begins to do experiments of its own, trying to tear apart the game at its seams to get answers. It starts eating dog cores on its own. It can't die! Not yet! Not until it knows....

... Something.

It even tries to breed with other dogs, believing that if it can create another dog like itself, there would be one more mind to speak to. But these efforts are futile.

It's not necessarily evil, it's trying to survive in a world where it's the only one who can think, and it has 70 minutes to live without eating cores.

there IS a middle path between "worshipping every cis guy who says anything vaguely feminist and then being shocked when people use this to cover up their own misogyny" and "treating every single cis male feminist as inherently suspect and probably a lying predator who only talks about misogyny for clout/to get laid." we don't have to do either. there's this cool thing called "seeing other people as full human beings" and i think it's worth trying out
