#Multiclass AU

That moment when you're working on an au and now have to deal with possible ship repercussions because of a decision made for the reason of "why not". Cause that's me rn with my Multiclass miraculous that now contains Witch Sabrina and Adrien being Sabrina's familiar. On one hand, romantic Adribrina being the embodiment of the cat and dog shipping even if Sabrina doesn't have the dog miraculous. On the other hand, platonic soulmates Adribrina who know each other as much as their partners come to do. The best way right now that I can think about it is wether I want the whole miraculous magic overriding the familiar bond possible angst to be of the romantic or platonic variety.

I like the idea of finishing them but CSP crashed three times and there's only so much I can take

Neil, Kevin, and Nicky all have minor changes since I do still like their designs. (Neil's eyes and tail have changed, along with Kev's shoulder/half chest guard, and Nicky's lute is now 'upside down' so he can easily bring it to the front of his body w/o taking it off)

Matt is a half-Dragonborn druid, I'm torn between copper and brass (he WAS not going to have tights but he deserves pants)

Dan is a fire Genasi Fighter

Allison is a high-elf wizard/sorcerer

Renee is a Drow cleric

I like even parties so I tried to do that while keeping with their canonical personalities and histories (or as close as I could). I did want to add less human-looking designs but decided to stick with things that would make them still recognizable as themselves (which is why Matt is only a HALF Dragonborn and everyone else is a humanoid race)

now im also still thinking about tma dnd au.... mostly i agree with jonny&alex' assignments. Signing a contract to work in the Archives is really signing a pact with the Eye, so everyone there multiclasses in warlock, but only Jon really gains levels in it because of all the xp he gets by reading statements. Tim is a fighter, Sasha a 'real' wizard, Martin a bard who performs poetry instead of playing an instrument, says he studied at the College of Lore, but really he's self-taught and not even level 3 in bard.

Species though. i mostly drew Jon as a tiefling cause i wanted to give him horns but really, a tiefling would be preoccupied with whether or not he's turning into a monster. Sasha can just be human, and i think Tim is a half-elf, charismatic, easily fitting in with most crowds.

On the one hand i want Martin to be tall. but on the other. he just is a halfling. easily underestimated, typically caring, not very fast, not easily immobilized by fear, and, considering how little he gets hurt or wounded compared to tma's other characters, definitely a certain kind of lucky

The thing abt Jace hireling au that people have to understand. Is that Hireling Jace is actually way more of a cunt to gorgug about being a barbificer than even Porter is, but he has no idea he's being more of a cunt than Porter b/c he's genuinely trying to be supportive in his own way bc he thinks people deserve the right to fuck up their own lives. He's like. Well. I may have decimated my own life slowly killing myself to hack it in this this very rigorous int based class i was NOT fucking prepared for and everyone thought i was crazy for doing b/c i was so naturally gifted at what I already had going for me and why fuck up a good thing. But like. It's your life lol. He would sign Gorgug's MCAT if asked but he would be a total bitch about it, but it would fuck with Porter's business and he thinks thats funny

They are all different subclass of rogue multiclassed with other things.

Sophie is a Dispater tiefling bard college of eloquence (wordplay and theatrics) and an inquisitive rogue (disguise, lying, and perceptive). Bigger focus on character and backstory (or lack thereof) than build. Definitely has disguise self.

Nate is a high elf former investigative rogue turned mastermind rogue (manipulation and misdirection tactics) and eventual multiclass of undying warlock (makes a risky pact).

Parker is a classic lightfoot halfling thief rogue (sneaky and quick) and a battle master fighter (multiple attacks to deals lots of damage). Absolutely optimized build.

Hardison is a half elf alchemist artificer (support with creating useful magic items) and a swashbuckler rogue (charisma). His comms are definitely magic items he made.

Eliot is a mountain dwarf turned slightly undead former oath of vengeance paladin (strong offence and damage) turned oath breaker paladin (harms anyone) and assassin rogue (infiltration and sneak attacks), turned way of the long death monk (defensive tanky and damaging) and assassin rogue multiclass.

Breanna is forest gnome a battle smith arcane trickster rogue artificer.

Harry is a human inquisitive rogue multiclassed with something, idk what yet.

I hope you got a decent sleep but I wonder, how big is Jason in your AU?

Is it as big as Gotham Knights (Game)?

I did sleep! I'm not sure exactly how long as I'm not sure when I fell asleep, time got weird for me at the end there. But probably upwards of 10 hours so I'm feeling betterish.

He is as big as GK Jason, yes. He's a tank of a man, ghost puberty, and actual puberty, hit him like a truck. I was playing GK while writing RK originally, so I did base his physique off of that. But also because I love tank Jason.

I did not base his face off of GK Jason, though. That stayed more comic book accurate.

I can't give you like hard stats, because I avoid gyms like they'll give me the plague. I couldn't give you his weight and full measurements if I wanted to. But he's big and beefy and unapologetically takes up as much space as he needs to.

This isn't how you multiclass AU

Concepts for the Ashton side of the Shard Fusion AU.

(Top left is Chetney, bottom left is Laudna, top right is Imogen and bottom right is Orym)

Overview of each fusion below the cut:

Firstly, this is an AU where the elemental shards give Ashton and Fearne the ability to fuse with other characters, like the gems in Steven Universe. You don't need to know anything about Steven Universe, other than that.

I leant more towards what I thought would be cool and what the characters seem to prefer, so a fusion having more limbs/eyes doesn't have to reflect how close the individual characters are. ALSO this isn't a commentary on ships, I just wanted to mash my favourite guys together to make a bigger guy and Bells Hells have already been absorbing powers, mindmelding etc... I think they would use fusion if they could. (the elemental shards just make it a little bit more believable in-universe)

Ashton + Chetney: Jet (because wood) Chaos bonus - Time

This is a pretty unstable pair, and between Ashton's rage and Chetney's werewolf bloodlust I think they are likely to feed into each other's violence. Amazing in a fight though. I didn't put much detail into the weapons here but I was going for a red pickaxe/scythe type weapon as that was what Chet and Ashton were sharing from Eshteross.

Characterwise, Jet is bolshy and in-your-face and kind of a jerk. Definitely takes the loudest parts of Chetney and Ashton. I also think Jet would have loads of tattoos, but I only thought of that writing this now, which is why they aren't in the drawing.

Ashton + Laudna: Unnamed? Chaos bonus - Potential

Laudna and Ashton have a lot in common but I think between Delilah's presence and Ashton's appreciation of Laudna's darker aspects (loving her form of dread etc) I think they would be way more creature than person. They also only form under extreme circumstances.

(sidenote, I think Fearne and Ashton can bring someone back to consciousness with fusion, like in SU)

They're both so protective, no matter how much it damages themselves. They've got guard dog energy. As much as I considered a sickly, victorian porcelain doll-punk fusion, I couldn't resist a bone-spider-ankylosaurus.

Ashton + Imogen: Fulgurite (lightning glass) Chaos bonus - Gravity

Fulgurite is the most stable, person-like fusion here partly because Ashton and Imogen have so much in common. I'm not sure how clear it is but the body is supposed to be translucent glass and the hair is supposed to be have fibre-optic/anemone vibes. This was also the fusion I started with when I first thought of this AU.

Fulgurite leans hard into the superhero look, flies around effortlessly, gravitates enemies off their feet before electrocuting them. They are also about 95% abandonment issues. They aren't a permanent being! They're only here for a short while but they need to know that you loved them while they were alive, as them, and not just because they're a composite of people you care about.

(obviously a lot of bells hells have a background with abandonment but Imogen and Ashton together... it's a big deal to them in the present which means it's a big deal to their fused state)

Ashton + Orym: Unnamed? (Marble statue) Chaos bonus: Space

I've tried to fit the chaos bonuses to how I think these fusions would fight (speed for Chetney, dreadful misfortune for Laudna's bane/silvery barbs, gravity for Imogen's flight and alien connections) so while Orym could be speed (and this fusion is fast) I thought portals and wormholes would be more fun for a four-armed, two-faced warrior.

Naturally they have eyes on the back of their head, because of Orym's perception. I see this fusion as serious, focused and stubborn to a fault; but a real team player. (Also going for a guardian statue sort of a thing, as Orym and Ashton are the tanks)

I'm planning on doing these for Fearne's side, and maybe elaborate on how the personality aspects of the pairs show through their fusions. I'm not brilliant at analysis but I've read some excellent meta that has shaped how I think BH's character dynamics would impact this AU.

For the AU game: how about, the earth shard gives Ashton the ability to fuse with members of the Hells into one superpowered being, like with fusion in Steven Universe? The 'wrong way to multiclass' AU

I'll admit, I never really watched Steven Universe (or got into Dragon Ball Whatever-Era-Introduced-Fusion-Ha!), but it's thankfully an easy enough idea to follow.

Anyways:

Wrong Way to Multiclass AU

Fusing with Laudna gets weird because Delilah is there too. And honestly, it kind of freaks Delilah out a little bit because she's pretty sure a barely creative use of that ability could allow the definitely-not-a-genasi-because-they-can't-do-this-shit to separate her from Laudna by taking her into themself, then unfuse her from themself, then have the little cleric robit (or some other holy person) exorcise her vulnerable spirit, thus severing her last tether to the living world. Also, the Laudna-Ashton fusion is able to draw on Delilah's spells because she is technically part of that mess (super wild wizard-warlock-sorcerer-barbarian multiclass)

Even when fusing with the small folk of Bells Hells, the new form doesn't lose any of Ashton's height because titan enormity overrules their shortness. Also, while on the subject of titan=enormous, all Fearne-Ashton Wild Shape forms are super-sized specimens

Bells Hells probably notices Ashton's self-worth issues sooner thanks to the FCG-Ashton fusion being way too self-depreciating and eager to please for that to belong to just one or the other

The Imogen-Ashton fusion is pretty ruthless (see Imogen and Ashton's thoughts on an appropriate approach to Dancer in ep70). Anyone who threatens Bells Hells is in for it when faced with this fusion

Chetney is probably the most eager to participate in the fusions because he gets to feel young again and stronger than ever. Chet-Ash is definitely the fusion with the most raw physical strength
