Late night sketch of Mozart from memory, because I love him. One would think I’d draw him more, as obsessed with him as I am. I used his own painted reference of the deformity in his left ear. Apparently he also had a little earring? It’s cute.

Mozart knew he was not particularly attractive so he made up for this by taking fastidious care of his appearance, being funny, and often placing his talent on display before himself.

I love how the musical theater community occasionally looks at a supposed villain and goes "hear me out... What if he did it cuz he's a gay disaster?". Fr Judas Iscariot? Nah he was in love with Jesus and so worried about him getting hurt that, in true Greek tragedy fashion, ended up being the one hurting him and upon realizing that he hanged himself. Salieri? Nah you don't get it he had a full bdsm gay awakening because of Mozart and became so obsessed with him that he destroyed his career and felt so bad about it he couldn't look at himself in the mirror.

Fun fact, apprantely Tom had decided to officially come out during the Oscars as part of his acceptance speech should he have won for his role as Mozart (by mentioning the relationship he was in at the time, how sweet) but he didn't win so it never happened. Then during a press conference for The Normal Heart, Larry Kramer outed him unintentionally by saying how great it is to have a gay actor play Ned Weeks and Tom was like "oh, okay" but nobody wrote about it so nah?? lmao i just ahsksjasbeufhskanh
