MUSUTAFU in my mha dr
now playing...black list - hime
AKA; the devils resort
Tumblr media
GEOGRAPHY
"when i hear that song, i wanna be with you"
musutafu (MST) prefecture is an island off the southern coast of japan located in the phillipine sea. its about 500-800km away from honshu, has 25,000 mi of land and is home to 35.3 million people. MST houses the most biodiverse tropical rainforest in japan (and one of the three most biodiverse in asia) which covers the entire island. MST has mild winters and minimal snow. it rarely reaches under 60/50 degrees F (10/15C?). both summer and spring are extremely humid.
HISTORY
"buffalo soldier, dreadlock rasta"
i never script colonialism clean out, i just make it different. because im always like wait if we dont have colonialism why tf are so many people speaking european languages? makes no sense right? anyways heres how it worked (in all of my DR's btw); europeans had very little power & money compared to locals who integrated with the culture (including locals of european descent) and it was more of a "leader in name" thing. in actuality, colonialism was more similar to a trade partner agreement with colonies, and colonies themselves were very hard to keep--and usually made more money and had more clout than their european counterparts. MST had this situation with spain, england and portugal. as it was an island (and a rather big one) it was already very cut of from japan culturally, economically & socially. so when the mainland went in seclusion for the meiji restoration, the europeans had already gotten full access to MST.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
CULTURE
"90 degress inna the shade, temperature tun up"
linguistics the standard language is a portuguese-spanish-tagalog-japanese fusion? and more japanese dominant. no fucking clue how thatll sound.
diversity MST is very racially & ethnically diverse, with a steady flow of immigrants from all over the world. a few prominent origin points include ; south east asia, central america, the carribbean, usa, western europe, south america, taiwan and india. but of course there are many more. the natives are pretty racially diverse as well, about half of the japanese population is "afro-japanese" which is genetically similar to aetas or melanesians.
motorsports drag racing is fully decriminalized and extremely normal. so much so that entire tournaments and elaborate race tracks are built to encourage it. (partially because of the tourism it brings) but before you can do any drag racing you need a permit or license. its very normal for celebrities and heroes to drag race, theres even a yearly competition for celebrities.
lifestyle lazy, indulgent and leisurely. days are spent relaxing at a beach, vibing at a local cookout or shopping. were very friendly, open and relaxed. its a city with very big & bold personalities. most people are ambiverts and its cartoonishly easy to make friends. unfortunately the culture can be a little shallow at times.
beauty standard few are fussy on beauty standards but a visible sun tan is universally preferred. however theres two big rules: no fake tanning under any circumstance & never tan more than two shades darker. in terms of body types, both men & women with toned bodies and "nice" asses are attractive--but for women the addition of being curvy is preferred.
religion among the japanese population the most practiced religion is catholism. this branch of catholism is very heavily mixed with shintoism & buddhism though.
mardi gras/carnaval the prefectures biggest holiday. its both the best and the worst. the sense of community is a focal point, millions of people celebrating and having fun (including the sizable portion of non-christians). everywhere is packed, music is blasting and half the city is drunk and/or high. by night everyone forgets how to act. surely the busiest day for MST based heroes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
MUSUTAFU CITY DISTRICTS (16 total but im only writing for 4)
"on an island in the sun, we'll be playing and having fun"
the beach durrr the city has a ton of beaches, but this one is the most iconic, large and populated. its right in front of the cities biggest shopping center (what is basically our equivalent of times square...but not as dirty or ghetto). theres always people at this beach, hanging out, on a work break or at a cookout.
the ghetto about 2-3 districts are classified as ghettos. they have an extremely high crime rate, but low quality of life, income & rent. expect seas of street vendors, houses stacked on eachother, music playing all through the night and walls panted with street art. (urarakas district 😍)
the islands a fifteen island archipelago off of the cities coast. considered middle class or lower middle class. life in the islands is slow and easy going. many people work in agriculture or fishing so its known for food & open air markets. the islands have a fun nightlife scene but its generally more laid back. (my district)
rural district the largest district in the city. known for its rich traditional japanese culture, the abundance of natural marijuana and nature. the district is very sparsely industrialized, especially compared to the rest of the city, so its mostly jungle/rainforest. theres also so much wildlife there! and disturbingly large roaches. something cool about it is this biiig ass gate surrounding the whole district! (todoroki family's district)
all districts have a fair share of mongrels / stray dogs. many people take them in to "guard" the house, or just to care for them
people from the islands like to have cute lil sea animal mailboxes!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
KNOWN FOR
"as i recall i know you love to show off"
love for sports. soccer, basketball, volleyball, baseball & surfing are extremely popular (among both genders)
lots of the population has a shopping addiction
elaborate heists.
trashy reality tv.
big film / tv industry.
high crime rate.
musutafuans want to go to the beach like every fucking day.
really good music.
clubs, casinos, nightlife in general.
beautiful beaches. white sand & clear blue water.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
POP CULTURE
"aserejé, ja, dejé"
GTA game based on MST
love & hip hop: MST
brazilian funk, rnb, afro beats, amapiano, dancehall, reggae, dembow, reggaeton and rap are really popular. way more than non japanese/latin pop music
real housewives of MST
we have golden crust, jollibee, mama empanada, and kfc but no mcdonalds 😬
havianas are really trendy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
im actually considering scripting my version of MST in some of my other DR's (idol dr especially) but im on the fence.
if any of this inspired you your free to include some for you dr <3

have you ever got any cosmetic work done (surgical/non-surgical)? what is your beauty maintenance routine? what are some stuff that wealthier ppl know about that most don’t regarding beauty/skin/hair/hygiene/diet/fitness? sorry it’s so many questions. i love your blog so much btw I’ve learned a lot from you :)🩷
nope, never had surgery or anything too invasive. I really don’t need it haha, losing weight, fixing my skin and growing my hair out did wonders for me. I’ve had collagen pumped into my skin for some acne scars I had but that was a useless procedure, this is back when I was 18. I’ve done exilis and em sculpt which I’ve mentioned below, I’ve gotten laser done (useless), I had IVs for semaglutide (useless). I think that’s about it.
beauty maintenance routine:
wax every 1.5 months
thread and wax my face every Sunday
face masks 2x week
hair mask 1 x week
high frequency if I feel like my skin needs a push (I have a wand at home)
gel polish every month
minoxidil for hair growth
I FaceTime my dermat once a month or once in two months
things that wealthy people do that normally people don’t know about… the problem is that everything is public these days. Any Jane can get filler and collagen therapy now and in certain elitist families, there is a sense of disdain about that. Beauty is a competition, it’s a very hush hush business and most try to be as discreet as possible.
I’ve seen lots of nose jobs and chin jobs that these younger girls get done in their late teens or early 20s to improve their prospects for fame (very common in the entertainment families). But with legacy family businesses, among the older women, it will be one of two extremes- a horrible face lift and smudged make up or all natural face yoga and black magic that they swear by. Baby Botox is also huge with the younger wives but they never get it done in India, they always go to LA/ NYC / and absolute worst case Dubai. You really cannot afford to be 35 and botched. The reality is that with huge legacy families what you don’t have is time. Time for recovery I mean, because for those few months you cannot be seen publicly. For most families this is impossible- there are constant engagements, philanthropic activities (PR), weddings and parties to attend - so whatever they get done, they ensure that the down time is very very short. That’s also why most of them have consistent “natural” wellness routines like getting massages weekly. emsculpt and exilis are a big secret (I’ve done both). I’m writing a blog post about it in real time. Downtime is zero. A lot of women also get exilis done for their vaginas to make it tighter.
I have cousins who have MUAs on a retainer basis. Regardless of how big or small the event is, they ensure that they’re looking glam at all times if they’re going to be socialising. I personally think that’s insane and I’m very good at my beating my face so I never resorted to doing this for every occasion but yes this is common.
diet - I’ll be honest, most girls will very rarely touch food. If we’re going out for dinner we normally go for Japanese because it’s a little lighter. They smoke/ vape a lot which in turn suppresses appetite.
what I plan to get done soon:
acne scar treatment (I have very slight scarring only on one cheek because I sleep on my side)
hydrafacial
ultrasound for double chin (I don’t have a crazy double chin but I do want my face to be a little more snatched without fillers and Botox)
Things I know I will get done at some point:
PRP facials
micro needling
emsculpt again (like before my wedding whenever that happens)
Botox just in between my eyebrows because I frown when I’m listening
some treatment for my laugh lines at some point in my life
tbh the best beauty tip I can give you is start working out young. I’ve seen so many women not go back to their pre-baby weight, struggle with their health which inevitably fucks with your appearance, and try all sorts of stupid things when they could literally just start working out and watch their body transform in a few months.
also, don’t get fillers done impulsively. It looks ridiculous unless you have the right doc and 8/10 times you don’t. try to stick to your ethnicity as much as possible. As an Indian, the closest inspo for me is Middle Eastern because I have similar features (full brows, full lips and big eyes). But if I try getting Korean style plastic surgery I’m going to look daft.

Simple Ways to Increase the Aura of Your Home: One of the main purposes of home is to help our bodies recover from overt chemicalization of our world. The world is flooded with a constant force of harmful chemicals that degenerate physical and mental vitality, therefore our home life should be a passionate haven where those heightened chemical variances are limited to non-existent. Therefore consider eliminating or greatly reducing chemical cleaning products and chemical beauty products which will enhance your digestion, your gut microbiome (the main factor that effects our the 7 systems of the body, hormones, mind health, and quality of life) and thereby increase your home's frequency. You want to create a home that supports the healthiest fullest expression of your gut microbiome, the center of your reality. A well-loved microbiome supports an essential resource that grows your life force energy. It supports healthy hydrated longevity that gives you more choices in life, mainly because it supports you in procuring naturally expanded human experience. A healthy gut microbiome helps you to master ways of thinking, feeling, intuiting, and perceiving. Be intentional in actively welcoming in details of beauty all around  your home— plants, books, art, well-made candles, music and the musical, macrame, hanging fabric or beads, color, etc. Invite in the sacred and the edges of the universe into your home--pour libations, chant, sing mantras, and whatever other ritual, divination, cosmic and grounding aesthetics, and ancestral intelligence. Clear clutter in closets and underneath beds and chairs and clean often and with thoughtful detail and intention, place special attention to windows, doors, toilet bowl, refrigerator, sinks, floors, and corners Dance around your home while infusing love into each room; more and more love and tactile loving acts Take out trash often -unpleasant smells distill unpleasant energy Resort your refrigerator daily or every other day-no spoiled food Open windows daily first thing in the morning, even in Winter briefly Ritualize washing your floors and walls every new season with a quality lime or orange essential and water solution, Florida water, and some of concoction that clears energy Mind your recurring thoughts --if you have been thinking in negative ways, no worries--just open windows an air out the energy and clean up around you Air out your bed linen daily Replace plastic with glass It's a living energy .....pray over your home Refresh water on most fresh flowers daily Light an oil lamp, ghee lamp or candles nightly Find a place for everything, and put everything in its place. Get into the habit of donating what you don't use or no longer matches your frequency often Create more white clear space Keep something sacred items by the front door that help clear energy e.g. hanging bells on the door knob Invest in quality kitchen supplies Home is a safe oasis where we repair our energetic relationship with living in an overly masculine, exhausted, mentally chaotic world. How does your home reflect the nourishment and nuturance of feminine energy? How does it inspire rest, regeneration, love, passion, creativity, arousal, playfulness, joy, prosperity, or living more inward-facing rather than externally-focused? India Ame'ye

Beach parties, culture parties, or peaceful retreat days in Goa promise an extraordinary vacation experience.
Pack Your Bags For An Unforgettable Holiday!
The best and common thing about these destinations is that they are well-connected by road transport with just a few hours of travel from the main cities of Maharashtra like Pune and Mumbai. We also have our services available in some of these destinations. You can check out our website for route checking. So, what have you planned for this year-end now?

“Only by not having children can I live the way I do now,” said Zheng, who has visited more than 50 countries. “I only have to think about myself, which is the part I enjoy most.”
“Considering global political and economic trends, if you don’t have a strong maternal instinct, you shouldn’t have a child just for the sake of it,” she said.
(Text under cut.)
TAIPEI, Taiwan —
Shorthand for gainfully employed U.S. couples whose only responsibilities were to themselves, the acronym DINK — dual income, no kids — was coined to capture the unabashed materialism of the 1980s.
Four decades later, the term has made a comeback, with millennials embracing it on social media to flaunt their free time, lavish spending habits and the other perks of choosing to be child-free.
It has taken off far beyond United States, including in one country where it would have been hard to imagine just a decade ago: China.
China’s population declined for the second year in a row last year; India overtook it as the world’s most populous nation.
Amid deep economic uncertainty, a growing number of Chinese are opting for another number: zero.
Many proudly refer to themselves as DINKs — using the acronym in English — or dingke, the phonetic translation in Mandarin.
Xu Kaikai, 29, said being DINKs gives her and her 36-year-old boyfriend a greater sense of control over their lives.
“It reduces some of the anxieties about age,” she said.
She works in advertising in Shanghai, where her boyfriend is a project manager for a construction company. “I used to talk about having a beautiful baby,” Xu said.
Now she calls herself a “drifting leaf” and gets so bored with people talking about children on social media that she follows only people without them.
A recent study from the Luoyang Institute of Science and Technology estimated that DINKs accounted for about 38% of Chinese households in 2020 — up from 28% a decade earlier — but those figures included large numbers of people living alone and the research did not look at whether couples were in fact dual-income.
Not that all Chinese adhere to a strict definition of the acronym. Some include anybody without children, while others don’t count people who still have a chance to change their minds — women of child-bearing age or men without vasectomies.
It’s also unclear how many DINKs there are in the United States. Some 44% of couples ages 18 to 49 surveyed by Pew Research in 2021 said it was unlikely they would have children — up from 37% in 2018.
After decades of enforcing a one-child policy to keep population growth in check, China’s government is now offering subsidies and financial support to encourage families to have more kids.
“It was just a high-class phenomenon,” said Yuying Tong, a professor of sociology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong who studies family life.
She said the number of DINKs is going up in large part because more people are delaying marriage.
The rejection of societal norms comes at an inopportune time for the Communist Party, which is struggling to stave off a demographic crisis in which there aren’t enough young people to support the elderly.
The country’s population declined for the second year in a row in 2023 — India surpassed it as the world’s most populous nation — and the birthrate fell 5.6% to a record low of 6.39 births per 1,000 people — a little more than half the U.S. rate, which has also declined in recent years.
Now the Chinese government is trying to motivate people to have kids, resorting to subsidies and even matchmaking services.
In March, Chinese officials announced plans to provide more support for child rearing and “work toward a birth-friendly society,” including improving parental leave policies and child-care options.
The government also appears to be trying to scare DINKs into changing their mindset.
Last month, China’s Twitter-like platform Weibo promoted an article about DINK couples in China who regretted not having kids because it had led to loneliness, marital strife or inheritance issues.
As economic growth has stalled, more Chinese couples are giving up on the idea of having kids. According to the Beijing-based Yuwa Population Research Institute, the average cost of raising a child in China was one of the highest in the world.
DINKs took issue with the characterization.
“Are all these examples being brought up to encourage people to have kids?” a popular entertainment blogger who goes by the moniker Jing Zhao Cha Mi responded on social media. “There are probably more people who regret their lifestyle with children.”
Hu Huiwen, a 38-year-old financial consultant who lives in the eastern city of Hangzhou, has heard all the warnings: Her husband will leave her. She will want children later and be too old to have them. Nobody will care for her in her old age.
But in the five years since she swore off having children, none of that has come to pass.
“It might become a minor sorrow, but not to the point of regret,” Hu said. “Even if I do regret it, then I can only bear it myself. What else can you do?”
She belongs to three different group chats for DINKs, where participants advise one another how to spend their leisure time. In video diaries, she shows herself reading or wandering through parks admiring the foliage.
In March, the Chinese government emphasized the need to support child rearing and “work toward a birth-friendly society.”
A recent study by the Beijing-based Yuwa Population Research Institute found that the average cost of raising a child in China was $74,600 — or 6.3 times the per capita GDP.
Of the 14 countries included in the study, the only place where it cost more relative to income was South Korea, which has the lowest birthrate in the world.
“At the end of the day, it’s still about the pressures and this very competitive environment that makes both marriage and childbearing untenable,” said Mu Zheng, an assistant professor of sociology at the National University of Singapore.
When Zheng Yu, a 47-year-old fashion consultant living in Shanghai, was in her 20s, her friends and family viewed her decision to not have children as a symptom of her rebellious nature.
Now with income inequality rising and seeing the pressure her niece is under to excel, she said she and her husband would make the same decision all over again.
Vable Liu, a 29-year-old English teacher in Jinan, the capital of China’s Shandong province, said about a third of her friends are dinks.
Liu and her husband recently posted a short video defending their choice.
“Will DINKs miss out on the joy of children?” she asks him in the clip.
DINK couples account for about 38% of households in China as of 2020, according to one study, up from 28% in 2010.
They continued with their mock interview.
“What if your family pressures you?” “Stay away from them.”
“Who do you pass your wealth on to when you die?” “Squander it all before then.”
Special correspondent Xin-yun Wu in Taipei contributed to this report.

“This is how colonialism works. It convinces us that the fallout from resistance is entirely our fault, that the immoral choice is resistance itself rather than the circumstances that demanded it.” — R.F Kuang, Babel
Resistance does not happen in a vacuum.
Resistance, rebellion, protests, marches, demonstrations, and boycotts all happen in response to injustice.
When you know the context, your humanity should pull you to come out in full support of the Palestinians.
If, after reading this whole post, or even half of it, if you are not emotionally moved or heartbroken by the oppression … I don’t even know what to say.
When Native Americans fought for their land, the white people called them “savages” while the emigrating thieves were “civilized” and considered themselves “victims.”
Mandela’s ANC (African National Congress, a liberation movement known for its opposition to apartheid) was considered a terrorist organization by the oppressors.
The Philippines were colonized by the Spanish for 300 years, then by Americans and then the Japanese. Their historical liberation movement was called “terrorism.” (And the League of Filipino Students stand with Palestine.)
The Hawaiians’ land was stolen. It’s a resort. Whenever you see it in stories (movies, tv shows, books), it’s for when the characters go there on vacation; and their culture gets warped, exaggerated, mocked, purposefully misunderstood, and also sexualized. But in reality, even til this day, indigenous children are punished for speaking their native language in school. Their language and culture is nearly extinct. All Hawaiians should be able to speak their language, not just a percentage of them. Even if you can’t relate, at least you can dig and bring up your compassion and empathy to the surface. Is it wrong to be angry about this? Is it wrong to fight back against colonialism and imperialism and capitalism?
Korea had their own independence movement and liberation army. It lasted decades. Yes, they used violent attacks. You wouldn’t have all those beautiful K-dramas to watch on Netflix, if they didn’t literally fight for their freedom.
India, too.
When Palestinians fight back against the oppression, they’re called “terrorists.”
These people are subjugated. It permeates every waking moment of their life. The Israeli colonizers who would call themselves ‘victims’ are the same people who “control the most simple and basic elements” of Palestinian life.
Tumblr media
Read that again.
“We basically control the most simple and basic elements of life.” — Ori Givati, former Israeli soldier, speaking up about the occupation of Palestine.
With context, it’s a thousand times more chilling. But even without it, especially if you can relate to being controlled over everything by a bigger but terrible person while growing up, that sentence alone is heartbreaking.
But it shouldn’t take that sentence for people to realize that that’s what it’s been all along since 1948. You just need to open your eyes and see how they, the Palestinians, are treated.
The Palestinians’ water wells were cemented by Israeli soldiers, to stop them from getting clean water. So, forget the Israeli government turning on a simple switch to allow water from their pipes – ‘cause the Palestinians can’t even get fresh water on the only strip of land they have!
How can anyone defend or justify that?
Tumblr media
Also, the millions of olive trees that had lived through generations (and it takes years for a new olive tree to produce anything) were destroyed by the Israel occupation since 1948. Now why would Israel destroy olive trees? Olive trees have a very special significance throughout the Middle East. Olive trees are important to Palestinian culture and heritage.
But Israel still continues to burn or destroy agriculture (aside from the bombs destroying it), they never stopped.
Gazan fishermen cannot even fish freely, there have been limits to how far out in the water they could go.
From the words of a Palestinian woman who works in a border school affiliated with the UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, established in 1949), translated to English:
“Fishermen are hunted at sea and they're falsely accused of getting close to the border. The fishing area keeps shrinking that they now have a tiny area from which they can make a living.”
Full post is here. For heaven’s sake, it takes a year to even get an item that they order from the Internet finally delivered, and even then it’s not a guarantee. The Israeli soldiers won’t give it to the purchaser if it’s dual-use.
Diving goggles are classified as dual-use, so the woman (who wrote the post I just linked) wasn’t able to get them. DIVING GOGGLES!
Where is your humanity?
If you are so desensitized to the gravity of this happening to 2 million people in the year 2023, and if you see all the deaths as just a number, and these numbers are just a statistic to you … I don’t know what I could say to make you understand.
How about the words of a Native American who visited Palestine in the past, and said it reminded him of his home in the U.S reservations? The United States government stole native land hundreds of years ago, and life in reservations are still so bad that this person felt at home in Palestine. THINK ABOUT THAT!
Tumblr media
Go ahead, try and tell me Israel isn’t an apartheid that’s even worse than Nazi Germany, or the U.S. genocide of Native Americans.
This occupation has been going on since 1948! Gazans need a permit to enter West Bank (which is often denied to them), and there are checkpoints on every street. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
Even when you finish reading this post, it doesn’t showcase half of how much oppression there is.
The Israeli government “control the most simple and basic elements of life” there. That was a quote from one former Israeli soldier.
Here’s another former Israeli soldier, speaking up against the occupation, (Eran Efrati):
“I was broken. I felt like I was the terrorist. And my job was literally to scare people so they cannot think about acting against the Israeli settlers.”
“Very early on, I understood that the rights that the Jewish settlers have are not the rights that the Palestinians have.”
“I understood that I cannot touch a Jewish settler if he is attacking a Palestinian.”
“So (these) Jewish settlers that live in Hebron are living under the same rights that I live in, in Jerusalem. But the Palestinians next to them, next house over, next building over, or sometimes next apartment over, lives under my rule, my military rule.”
“And I can do whatever I want with him.”
By the way, this is Stage 3 of the 10 stages of genocide: Discrimination. The Stage 2 is Classification, and Palestinians are a separated group under Israeli law.
Tumblr media
Here’s the link to the video.
And a former Israeli Air Force pilot, Yonatan Shapira, said this:
“I was a captain in Israeli Air Force, I was a helicopter pilot and I realized during the 2nd Intifada what Israeli Air Force and Israeli military doing is war crime, terrorizing population of millions of Palestinians.”
“As a child in Israel, you are being brought up in very strong Zionist militaristic education. You don’t know almost anything about Palestine, you don’t know about the Nakba, 1948, you don’t know anything about ongoing oppression.”
Tumblr media
Here’s the link to the video.
As of October 30, 2023, Israel has wiped out 881 families. Lineages. Bloodlines. This means 30 to 80 persons in EACH FAMILY.
On October 17, that number was only 47 bloodlines.
« Gaza, Oct. 29 (Petra) - The death toll from the war on Gaza has reached 8,005, including 3,324 children, 2,062 women, 460 elderly people, while 1,870 people were reported missing, including 1,020 children, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
The ministry spokesman said the Israeli occupation has carried out 56 massacres in the last several hours, killing 302 Palestinians. Most of the victims were moved to the southern parts of the Gaza Strip, which Israel claims are safe zones.
He added that 116 medical staff were killed, 25 ambulances were destroyed, and 57 health facilities were targeted, pointing out that 881 families were lost as a result of the occupation's purposeful targeting of them. »
And if you don’t believe these numbers, because you’d rather believe Israel – guess what? Israel is keeping score, and published it on their Channel 14 news channel with rising numbers. Israel are genocidal maniacs. It’s not my fault you refuse to believe what your eyes can see.
UPDATE
As of November 25 of 2023, the number of deaths reached 20,000. The number of children among them are 8,176.
“We must learn that passively to accept an unjust system is to cooperate with that system, and thereby to become a participant in its evil.” — Martin Luther King, Jr.
“Nice people made the best Nazis. My mom grew up next to them. They got along, refused to make waves, looked the other way when things got ugly and focused on happier things than “politics.” They were lovely people who turned their heads as their neighbors were dragged away. You know who weren’t nice people? Resisters.” — Naomi Shulman
And along with Israel bombing the Palestinians using the internationally-banned white phosphorus—!
It is so violent in its destruction, and, I repeat, it is prohibited under international law! Of course, you’d think that violating the Geneva Convention would result in heavy consequences, but imperialist governments not caring and getting away with anything is a different topic.
Tumblr media
It is so wicked, I can’t—
Even if you don’t care about a massive loss of human life, the phosphorus effect on agricultural lands are devastating and lasts for years. It still makes people sick and nauseous with no apparent signs of injury on the plants.
And all the mushroom clouds after those CONSTANT bombs drop on Gaza!
Even if you don’t care about the loss of human life, do you have a speck of humanity in you to care about all the pollution? At the very least?
How many times does the Israeli government have to be caught lying or admit to lying, before you realize they can never be trusted because they’re liars? They have a long history of it, too!
OPEN YOUR EYES!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
OPEN YOUR EYES!
When the people had a funeral for American-Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh, the Israeli police kicked and beat the mourners who were carrying the casket.
Tumblr media
Is it any wonder that there are former Israeli soldiers and pilots who stopped supporting their government because they felt like terrorists, and realized it is Israel who are the terrorists?
Look at this!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It is also NEVER a normal time to say “I’m a little bit fascist,” whether it’s 2000 or 2023…but the video in the tweet below is from 2009. This is an Israeli woman saying, “I’m a little bit fascist.”
Imagine thinking this is normal to talk that way. Imagine thinking fascism is, in any way, good or beneficial.
Tumblr media
The Palestinians in the Gaza Strip do not have basic human rights.
If you value having your human rights, do not turn a blind eye to Palestine.
Their access to the outside world, via WiFi and the Internet, is the one and only way they can spread awareness of what’s going on.
No government should have the power to turn off water and cut electricity and telecommunications.
Collective punishment is a war crime under international law, a crime on humanity that could easily be done to you. You think you’re safe in your country? Every protest and demonstration or march (on any topic, really) is met with the same brutal police treatment. What’s to stop them from going all out, the moment they get the government’s green light? I remember military vehicles coming out in force during the BLM protests. Many people are permanently blind and/or disabled from the tear gassing and the rubber bullets.
You cannot justify indiscriminate bombing on a densely populated SMALL area. It’s never right, but think about this…
The Gaza Strip is 139 square miles.
Detroit, Michigan is also 139 square miles.
Detroit only has less than six hundred thousand people in their population. The Gaza Strip has two MILLION.
Religious buildings, universities, hospitals … bombed, all under the excuse that “terrorists” were hiding there.
The same exact excuse Israel used to justify bombing a school in Egypt in 1970, it is not new and not exclusive to Gaza. They always use the same tactics.
What I’m sharing here is pretty much everything I’ve shared (and then some) about the occupation and genocide against Palestinians. So, pardon me if it’s not cohesive, because it’s not really meant to be. I shared most of this just one time with somebody, and I still got hit back by that heartless lunatic threatening me to watch and “enjoy Israeli retribution.”
It’s bad enough seeing it in the comment sections on YouTube or Twitter; it’s even more mind-boggling to have it spoken in direct response to me in my attempt to appeal to what little speck of humanity they have left, so I don’t make a habit of speaking up.
Palestinians are Arabs. Arabs are Semites.
If, for some asinine reason, you support Israel on the genocide they’re committing right now against Gaza, and you still want to call me an anti-Semite … then you should know that a former Israeli minister of education said (nonchalantly) back in 2002 that they always use that label as a trick on anyone who criticizes the Israeli government.
Tumblr media
And a former Israeli Mossad agent, in 1995, said that labeling someone an anti-Semite is one of the ways he silenced critics. They know you’re not an anti-Semite, but they will label you as such to discredit you.
Victor Ostrovsky: « But I know what they do ‘cause I used to ask them to do it. When I was in the Mossad and we had a guy that gave us problems in the U.S., and he was speaking out and he was talking like people talk once and said, “Israel is bombing Lebanon with cluster bombs,” we say, “Hey, who’s that guy?” you know? ‘Pete Macockey,’ we used to call him. Yeah, which is Pete the Cockroach, ‘cause he makes a lot of noise and you can’t get rid of him. So, what you do is you get in touch with a guy in the station in New York or in the station in Washington and tell the guys in B’nai B’rith to label him. And, of course, the campaign starts, and before you know it, the guy is labeled. And he’s ‘an anti-Semite’ because that’s what we say he is. It shames me as a Jew to tell you that. But that’s the fact and it’s wrong. »
Tumblr media
It SHAMED him as a Jew to say that this is what his government does. This is what Israel does!
The same thing happened in Nazi Germany – it was illegal to even mock Adolf Hitler, or talk badly about the Nazi regime. It’s the same thing regarding CPC, Chinese citizens will have their online posts deleted if they criticize China. And it’s the same with North Korea, it’s actually worse than China – they cannot even consume foreign entertainment if it’s not sanctioned by their government.
If you criticize Israel, their government will silence you by slapping on the “anti-Semitic” label onto you.
As Shulamit Aloni said, “It’s a trick, we always use it.” Thank you for exposing yourselves!
If you’ve reached all the way down to this part of the post, and anything I’ve typed out hasn’t moved you emotionally at all, you should stop calling yourself pro-climate and pro-life.
And look!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s there for all to see.
We don’t even have to expose Israel’s black hearts, they’re doing that all on their own.
We literally just have to point this out. The rest is up to you.
Imagine Russians doing this about Ukrainians!
Tumblr media
Is this who you want to defend? “God’s chosen people” mocking cultural attire, comparing Palestinians to dogs, dehumanizing them, degrading their deaths, laughing at mothers losing their children.
Is this the hill you want to die on? IS THIS YOU?!
The depravity!
“Words and terminology are crucial," said Hussam Zomlot, the Palestinian Head of Mission in the United Kingdom. "From the beginning, Israel wanted to link the Palestinian people to Hamas. And then they linked Hamas to ISIS. That’s linking ISIS to what? The Palestinians.”
Article by Lemma Shehadi • October 17, 2023
———
[A thread by Dr_MianUmair1 on Twitter]
There seems to be a lot of confusion regarding the distinction between Hamas and ISIS. It is important to clarify that these are two distinct entities with different goals, ideologies, and methods.
Hamas is a Palestinian political and military organization that was established in 1987. Its primary objective is the liberation of Palestine, Hamas engages in political and social activities, as well as armed resistance against Israeli occupation.
On the other hand, ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) is a radical Islamist extremist group that emerged in the early 2000s. Their goal was to establish a caliphate in Iraq and Syria, imposing their version of Sharia law and carrying out acts of terrorism worldwide.
While both organizations have been classified as terrorist groups by various countries, it is crucial to note that their motivations, strategies, and geographical focuses are vastly different.
Hamas primarily operates in the Palestinian territories, with a particular focus on the Gaza Strip; while ISIS was primarily active in Iraq and Syria, although their influence has significantly diminished in recent years.
Hamas, despite being a designated terrorist organization by some countries, also has a political wing that participates in democratic processes and provides social services to the Palestinian people (A reason why they love Hamas)
In conclusion, Hamas and ISIS may share the label of "terrorist organization," but they are not the same. Understanding their distinctions is essential for informed discussions about the region. 🌍🤝
———
But, now, what if I told you that Israel (and the U.S., “indirectly and directly”) created Hamas?
U.S. Congressman, Ron Paul, in 2009:
“If you look at the history, you’ll find out that Hamas was encouraged and really started by Israel because they wanted Hamas to counteract Yassir Arafat [chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization, PLO].”
“So, then, we as Americans say, ‘Well, we have such a good system, we’re going to impose this on the world, we’re gonna invade Iraq and teach people how to be democrats.’ We want free elections, so we encourage the Palestinians to have a free election, they do and they elect Hamas.”
“So, we [the United States] first indirectly and directly, through Israel, help establish Hamas, then we have election that Hamas becomes dominant, so we have to kill them.”
Hmm, so Israel-U.S help establish Hamas, playing them against each other until they get their dominance, just so Israel can justify killing Hamas and every single Palestinian? That, coupled with the former Israeli politician saying that they slap the ‘antisemitism’ label on critics to justify killing the Palestinians? Wow, Israel and the U.S. sure do sound like the evil villains here. It almost sounds like…they always planned to commit genocide! Look at my shocked face > ö
But anyway…
Painting Hamas with the ISIS brush has implications for how Israel is expected to fight its war with the Palestinian militant group, experts told The National.
“There is a danger in comparing Hamas to ISIS, which can indirectly legitimise disproportionate use of violence on civilians in Gaza, under the pretence of fighting terrorism,” Ms Khatib said.
Experts highlighted the US-led coalition’s war with ISIS in 2014, during which Iraqi and Syrian cities were razed, killing up to 11,000 civilians in Iraq alone and displacing hundreds of thousands more.
“The US government labelled its campaign in Syria and Iraq as 'a campaign of annihilation', so for Secretary Austin to be suggesting Hamas is the same or worse is doing little more than encouraging Israel to assume a similarly brutal approach in Gaza,” said Charles Lister, director of the US-based Middle East Institute’s Syria programme.
The 6,000 bombs dropped on Gaza in the first six days, as claimed by the Israeli air force, had already exceeded the rate of US bombing of ISIS in Syria and Iraq, which averaged 2,500 per month across 46,000 square miles," he added.
NOTE: This article is from October 17. There, Israel wiped out 47 bloodlines (which means 30 to 80 persons EACH family name.) As of October 30, 2023, that number has risen to 881 families taken off the civilian registry. Whole bloodlines, gone.
As of November 25? 20,000 were killed in total. And 8,176 of them are children.
Don’t talk to me if you support Israel, even after everything you’ve read in this post.
FREE PALESTINE 🇵🇸
A focus on fighting terror would also obscure the “root causes” of the conflict.
“The narrative will be totally overwhelmed by terrorism and security. Whenever these things happen between Israel and Palestine, there is never a root discussion of settler colonialism, of occupation or dispossession,” said Chris Gunness, a former spokesman for the UN’s agency for Palestinian refugees.
———
This BBC documentary takes place in 1982, years before Hamas existed. What was Israel’s excuse, then, for their massacre of Palestinians and Lebanese Shias that took place after this?
Israel bombs Lebanon and Syria. Two completely different countries. There are no Hamas there. What’s the excuse?
They’ve committed all the stages of genocide, and all you have to do is open your eyes.
Israel are the terrorists!
A giant with all the advantages of their size (and a world power like the U.S, the biggest, backing them and funding them) is NOT the victim.
Israel isn’t even scared of the United Nations. Think about that! Nearly five dozen U.N staff members, as of October 30, were killed in Gaza because of Israel’s bombs. And all the U.N can do is hold a service for their colleagues??? Acting as if this is normal?
This is Palestine, BEFORE the Israeli occupation:
Tumblr media
Where is your humanity?
Resistance does not happen in a vacuum.
Support Palestinians. Save Gaza. Free Palestine!
You don’t need to be religious. You don’t need to be a Muslim, Christian, or Jew. You just have to be human.

Tumblr media
Why Choose Chopta for Your Next Trip?
Chopta, located at an elevation of approximately 2,680 meters, is a hidden gem that offers mesmerizing views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks such as Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba. Its tranquil atmosphere, coupled with its relatively unexplored status, makes it a fantastic destination for tourists looking to escape the hustle and bustle of crowded hill stations.
A Chopta tour package typically includes stays in eco-friendly resorts or camps, guided treks, sightseeing tours, and meals, offering a complete and hassle-free travel experience. Let’s dive into the highlights of what makes Chopta such a sought-after destination.
Tumblr media
One of the biggest draws of Chopta is its scenic beauty. Surrounded by dense forests of pine, deodar, and rhododendron, Chopta offers spectacular panoramic views of snow-clad peaks such as Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Chaukhamba. Whether you visit in the lush greenery of summer or the snowy wonderland of winter, the natural beauty of Chopta is stunning throughout the year.
Chopta also serves as a base for some of the most popular treks in the region, including the famous Chopta Tungnath Trek. Tungnath is the highest Shiva temple in the world, and trekking to this sacred site offers both adventure and spiritual fulfillment. For those seeking more, the trek continues up to Chandrashila Peak, providing one of the most mesmerizing 360-degree views of the Himalayas.
In addition to trekking, Chopta offers opportunities for birdwatching, camping, and exploring nearby attractions such as Deoria Tal and Ukhimath. It’s part of the Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary, making it a haven for wildlife enthusiasts.
Unlike more crowded tourist destinations, Chopta retains its offbeat charm, allowing visitors to experience the true essence of the Himalayas in peace. Its combination of adventure, nature, and spirituality makes it a must-visit destination for your next trip. A Chopta tour package ensures that you can explore this hidden gem without hassle, making your journey comfortable and memorable.
Tumblr media
1. Chopta Uttarakhand: A Paradise for Nature Lovers
If you're seeking an offbeat travel destination in Uttarakhand, Chopta should be at the top of your list. Unlike other popular tourist destinations in the region, Chopta remains relatively less crowded, preserving its natural beauty. Located in the Rudraprayag district, Chopta Uttarakhand serves as the base camp for several treks and is renowned for its vibrant flora and fauna.
The region is part of the Kedarnath Wildlife Sanctuary, and it's not uncommon to spot rare species of birds, musk deer, and other wildlife here. For birdwatchers, Chopta offers an excellent opportunity to observe a variety of Himalayan birds, including the Himalayan Monal, which is the state bird of Uttarakhand.
When you book a Chopta tour package, make sure it includes visits to nearby attractions such as Deoria Tal, a beautiful high-altitude lake surrounded by dense forests, and the Ukhimath temple, a winter abode of Lord Kedarnath.
2. Chopta Tungnath Trek: The Ultimate Adventure Experience
One of the most famous treks in the Chopta region is the Chopta Tungnath Trek. Tungnath is one of the highest Shiva temples in the world, located at an altitude of 3,680 meters. The trek to Tungnath is moderate in difficulty and takes around 4-5 hours from Chopta. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced trekker, this trail offers a perfect mix of adventure and spiritual fulfillment.
Tumblr media
The Chopta Tungnath Trek begins with a gentle climb through dense forests of oak, deodar, and rhododendron, gradually opening up to expansive views of the surrounding peaks. Along the way, trekkers are treated to panoramic vistas of the Himalayan ranges, green meadows, and cascading waterfalls.
What makes this trek even more exciting is that from Tungnath, you can continue to Chandrashila Peak, which stands at 4,000 meters. The additional trek to Chandrashila rewards trekkers with a 360-degree view of some of the most iconic Himalayan ranges, including Nanda Devi, Kedarnath, and Trishul.
3. Exploring the Scenic Beauty of Chopta Valley
The picturesque Chopta Valley is a treasure trove for photographers and nature lovers alike. The valley is covered with a thick layer of lush meadows, and during the spring season, it becomes a colorful paradise due to blooming rhododendron flowers. Surrounded by dense forests and towering Himalayan peaks, Chopta Valley is an ideal spot for relaxation and rejuvenation.
Tumblr media
In winters, the valley transforms into a snow-laden wonderland, making it a popular destination for snow trekking and camping. Whether you're hiking through the valley, camping under the stars, or simply sitting by a campfire soaking in the views, Chopta Valley promises an unforgettable experience.
Most Chopta tour packages offer camping options in this valley, allowing you to experience the raw beauty of nature up close. Many packages also include outdoor activities such as rock climbing, rappelling, and bird watching, making it a great spot for adventure lovers.
Best Time to Visit Chopta
Chopta is an all-season destination, but the best time to visit depends on what you want to experience. If you’re a fan of winter treks and snow-covered landscapes, then visit between December and February. For trekking enthusiasts and nature lovers, the months from March to May are ideal, as the weather is pleasant, and the rhododendron forests are in full bloom.
Tumblr media
Monsoons (July to September) bring out the lush greenery of Chopta, but landslides and roadblocks can make travel difficult. From October to November, the post-monsoon period offers clear skies and stunning views of the snow-clad peaks, making it a great time for sightseeing and photography.

The prolific historian and biographer Philip Ziegler, who has died of cancer aged 93, was never less than scrupulously fair – but also honest – about the shortcomings of his subjects, who included some of the most prominent men and, occasionally, women of modern British history.
Lord Mountbatten’s personal vanity, deviousness and ambition, Edward VIII’s meanness and superficiality, even Edward Heath’s charmlessness were all remorselessly revealed, even though they amounted to official biographies and are books that have shaped the men’s reputations for posterity.
“The biographer’s first responsibility is to the truth and to the reader. If he is not prepared in the last resort to hurt and offend people for whom he feels nothing except goodwill then he should not be writing a biography,” Ziegler said in 2011.
The foibles of Mountbatten, the last viceroy of India before independence, were such that Ziegler wrote a note on his desk while writing the biography in the mid-1980s stating: “Remember, in spite of everything, he was a great man.” That is not necessarily the view any longer of many British and Indian historians, though it is hard to overlook Mountbatten’s significance to the modern subcontinent and his relatives in the Royal family.
If Ziegler’s patrician, establishment status and urbane charm helped to smooth his path to selection for such monumental biographies, his industry and the punctiliousness of his research meant that they come close to definitive. He said: “Ideally the biographer should know everything about his subject and then discard 99% of his information, keeping only the essential. Of course one can never hope to discover anything approaching everything, but one can find out a great deal.”
Ziegler was born in Ringwood, in the New Forest, to Dora (nee Barnwell) and Louis Ziegler, a retired army major. He was educated at Eton college and then studied law at New College, Oxford, graduating with a first. After national service with the Royal Artillery, he entered the Foreign Office, serving as a diplomat in Laos, Paris and Pretoria.
In 1966, with his wife Sarah (nee Collins), whom he had married in 1960, and two small children, he was posted to Bogotá, Colombia, as head of chancery at the British embassy. It was there the following year that, returning home from an embassy reception, he and his wife found armed robbers rifling the house. Sarah was killed in the melee and he was badly wounded.
The tragedy persuaded him to leave the diplomatic service and take a job with Sarah’s publisher father, William Collins, then the head of one of the largest publishing houses in the country. Ziegler became editorial director in 1972 and editor-in-chief of the company seven years later. He had already published two books, a biography of the Duchess of Dino, mistress of the wily French diplomat Talleyrand, in 1962, and one of the Georgian prime minister Henry Addington (later the reactionary home secretary Viscount Sidmouth) in 1965. A book about the Black Death followed in 1969, though that was to be his only venture into pre-modern history, and one on the battle of Omdurman (1973), as well as biographies of William IV (1971) and the Victorian prime minister Lord Melbourne (1976).
In 1980, Ziegler became a full-time writer, and a regular and eclectic stream of books followed: biographies of the 1920s’ society beauty Lady Diana Cooper (1981), Harold Wilson (1993), the minor poet Osbert Sitwell (1998), the publisher Rupert Hart-Davis (2005) and the actor Laurence Olivier (2013), as well as Heath (2010), Mountbatten (1985) and Edward VIII (1990), and a short biography of George VI (2014). There were also histories of Barings Bank (1988), London during the second world war (1995), the Rhodes Trust in Oxford (2008) and Brooks’s gentlemen’s club (1991). Not forgetting, Elizabeth’s Britain 1926 to 1986 and a book of photographic portraits of the Queen (2010).
All were assiduously researched. Given access to the royal archives, Ziegler ploughed through 25,000 letters of Edward VIII, revealing the shallowness of the king who abdicated and, allegedly to her displeasure, the Queen Mother’s relentless hostility towards him. His verdict that Edward was well meaning and that no monarch could have been more anxious to relieve the sufferings of his subjects though “few can have done less to achieve their aim”, was suitably waspish.
The biography of Mountbatten, for which he was chosen by the Broadlands trustees, custodians of his legacy, was followed by three volumes of the admiral’s diaries. The biography of Heath was also both official and comprehensive, but struggled to find the man’s elusive charm.
Of the Olivier biography, he told an interviewer at the Cheltenham literary festival in 2013: “In the course of my alarmingly long biographical career I have written about an inordinate number of prime ministers, kings and the like and I suddenly decided in old age that I would indulge myself and do myself an actor.” What he found to his alarm that there was very little substance beneath the parts the great actor played.
Following the death of his first wife, Ziegler married Clare Charrington, a social worker and bereavement counsellor, in 1971. She died in 2017. He is survived by the two children of his first marriage, Sophie and Colin, and by the son of his second, Toby.
