Happy New Year - 2025
To celebrate another year, I’ve put together each of these authors’ top quotes from 2024!
The authors were chosen based on the favorite Japanese authors and favorite BSD characters from the 2024 Survey.

Sorry if it looks a bit rushed, I did this quickly because I wanted to translate it and show it to everyone as soon as possible -- Fyodor is finally appearing in a Wan chapter as one of the main characters!!! I'm so happy!!!

[Ōugai is probably a person who believes in skin care, he prefers to keep his appearance young and beautiful, and this is what makes him look even more like a single mother than a powerful man; But Yukichi?! I think he's more like the person who screams when Ōugai tries to force him to use a green tea mask on his skin.]

Thank you, Bungo Street Dogs, for introducing me to japanese literature.
Fuck you, Bungo Street Dogs, for flooding these authors search page, making it harder to find them.
Was I too naive to believe that the anime being famous would make their books and biographies ease to find? I'm not talking about No Longer Human, that's the exception, you can find that anywhere. Chuuya Nakahara was a dadaist and a symbolist, which is my favorite literary current, I was really intrigued by him.
His book was NEVER translated to my language. It'd have to import that from America, and boy, that's would be expensive. The only thing I found was a university study that translated like two poems. I'm not entirely blaming the fandom for it, but damn, it does make it harder to research for his content because every time I try to find a way around it my screen gets fooled by anime boy merch/fanart/edit/ship/cosplay/etc. No, I do nt want to buy a body pillow with a sexy image of an anime boy, I want to buy the book of one of Japan's greatest authors.
Double fuck you, Bungo Street Dogs, for disrespecting real life people.
Justice for Mori Ōgai, who was never a pedophile. His books are actually really good. Did you know Vita Sexuallis is about him being assexual? And that Elise is not even in that book? Btw, Dancing Girl is an amazing, yet I believe intensionally disturbing book, and she was 15, not 5.
With all that said, I firmly believe that BSD should have never used the names of real life people, that's just a disrespectful disservice. It'd be way better to have changed the names, even if there still inspired by said authors. These are real people who lived and breathed and felt and thought. There are not puppets for you to play.
I swear if I die and anyone tries to do that to me, I'm coming to haunt you.

Generally those who wear a mask of stoicism as they pass through life want something from others. The mask is worn to gain something and no sacrifice is spared to obtain it. Setsuzō, however, wanted nothing. He just wanted to conceal his inner self.

Tachihara was SHOCKED
Bro was like : boss.. I was just being silly??? I promise, like totally.
And honestly mori ate with that line : You droped this, tachihara.
With that silly smile, the voice the way he just then send him to another mission for the pm like it was nothing.
As if he didn't just found out he is a traitor, while leaning back into his seat like an absolut boss (that he is)
(but he knew tachi wanted to stay in the pm and used that to manipulate him but he ate ngl.)
Mori was too Iconic then anyone in that scene.
(Mori is an Iconic, manipulative, gaslighting queen, girl boss)
