Relativity Falls Lore Concept- The Oracle and Bill

The Oracle:

I was initially inspired by the Twitter user @SUwu159's depiction of the Oracle in their take on Relativity Falls, and made my own adaptation as I learned about her in canon.

(Assume she can change colors because I couldn't pick what I liked most)

This version of The Oracle isn't malicious per se, and does not desire the same conquest or chaos sought out by Bill. But she likes universes to be organized and quaint (or answers to another high power that demands it), and finds fulfillment in achieving these goals through any means necessary.

The Oracle and Dipper:

(Sorry if this dialogue tastes like a corndog in your mouth. I just needed to write a semi-resolution to Dipper's side of the relationship, ha.)

Getting into the real struggle with the Pines family. Dipper and Mabel don't fight and hold grudges like the Stans (that we've seen of), so my opinion is that they drifted apart in their late teens and twenties, both feeling pressured to be less attached at the hip. My current belief (though I'm very willing to rewrite this section) is that Mabel and Dipper both poured a lot of energy into pretty niche fields, and being very busy meant very short and rare windows to reach out. Both assumed the other was doing bigger and better things and felt self conscious / childish for wanting eachother's company.

I'm still considering Mabel's backstory, since I think she probably hit lower points than Dipper. You know. Starving artist, lol. But Dipper entered into paranormal investigation, pest control, etc. before his ghost + monster catching went far enough for his name to gain some notoriety. Hell, maybe Pacifica's family reached out to him to take care of "rats" that were actually ghosts, cementing his interest in Gravity Falls and giving him a window inter supernatural work.

Dipper was taken on as something of an apprentice to the Oracle 30ish years before canon as word of his good and dangerous deeds spread. However, what was at first a personal dream come true (saving lives with nerd magic) soon became a personal hell as the Oracle began to overwhelm Dipper with knowledge of various futures and universes where everything he cared about could be destroyed. He's always been over prepared and incredibly paranoid, and became obsessed with protecting the world by acting as a partner to the Oracle.

He ends up doing- or not doing- a lot of morally ambiguous things and gaining a lot of enemies. He is too ashamed to face his family- especially Mabel- with what he's done and burden them, giving the Oracle more to use against him to keep him working for her. Basically "you've already done all this and risked it all, there's nowhere to go if you stop now." Eventually this ends in her seeing him fit for her work and convincing him to hide out in and save other universes, which he gets trapped doing for the next three decades.

Little throw away idea: Pacifica could have been an investor or partner, but left as they uncovered secrets about the Northwest family. Maybe she wanted to undo something (debating making any of the Oracle's powers time related just because I hate time travel) or stop a current show of corruption, but Dipper had to stop her for the "greater good."

In the main universe, Mabel goes to Gravity Falls upon news of her brother's disappearance, searching for any loose end to trace back to him.

I love that in canon, Dipper is willing to do anything for Mabel, and Mabel gives it back. Dipper here spends all of his life keeping as many versions of her as safe as he can, and she spends all her life trying go seek him out- maybe even dropping a larger opportunity outside of Gravity Falls for her art and settling on business at the shack. Dipper wants Mabel alive, Mabel wants them both happy. I like the idea that it's Dipper and Mable vs. The Future but the future is a demon, alien thing.

Which leads me to...

Bill Cipher:

I'm actually gonna cover a couple versions of Bill I think are fitting for this AU, because I initially wasn't sure if I wanted him here at all.

Child Bill:

Pretty straight forward. Bill as a baby, child thing is tempting and this is the au where he'd exist. Personally though, I think Ford's friendship with Fidds would be more enriching to his growth, and Bill's personality is so close to Stan's they would likely be competing to fill very similiar roles. (If Bill behaves differenty as kid, I don't know about it.) Honestly, Bill is super similiar to Ford and Stan, and works better as a kind of foil or antagonist because of that (imo). I do find the mental image of Ford carrying Bill around funny. I do not enjoy human bill like, conceptually, so I'm probably never gonna design one as an adult or child, lol.

It would be cool to see a world where Bill didn't accidentally kill his parents though.

Bill - Reincarnated Original

Technically I guess they could all be reincarneted (especially baby Bill), but this version of Bill experienced and holds memories of the original canon events in GF. Beings like Bill and the Oracle can remember recent/soon approaching lives, and catch glimpses of more distant cycles as well.

What I like about Bill's recent role as an antagonist to Ford and Stan is that he constantly describes them in the terms of their worst traits, and sees them through the lens of the roles the world placed on them. In this AU, Bill is the epitome of the past (in this case a past life) coming back to bite the twins. He rattles their progress in communication as well as their sense of inner peace by bringing old Glass Shard Beach issues into Gravity Falls.

The drawback to this is that it feels a lot like covering old ground.

Simply Bill:

This is pretty much just regular old Bill with the same fresh perspective as everyone else, and also the one I'm going with. He tried and failed to get Dipper's trust in the past and had to lay low at the arrival of the Oracle. Once they left, Bill targeted Mabel. I think it could be very interesting for Mabel and Bill to either have a fresh relationship wherein Bill is actively taking advantage of her desperation to find Dipper, or for Bill to be an old betrayal (not romantic, but not dissimilar to the opportunistic exes Stan and Ford have to be wary of and beat back under the rug regardless).

Either he shows himself to Mable early on, or decides that Gravity Falls is both Oracle-free and worth the time after either Ford or Mable summon him. Afterall, 30 years isn't much to him.

Maybe he exists in the background like he's always done, or the kids (being snoopy and disrespectful of Mabel's secrets) discover what Mabel's doing and run into him on their own.

Whether Bill is aware of the original series or not, I think he could be neat to stick in between Stan and Ford again for conflict. My favorite aspect about Relativity Falls is the prospects of the Stans having a larger support system and better tools to help themselves with. Beating Bill faster and better would be the ultimate testament to Mabel and Dipper's skills as functioning role models, even if Mabel is currently blinded by her focus on Dipper.

Stan and Ford will fight and they will make up, but this time maybe they can overcome it on their own.

I also think a good idea is having Ford and Stan's issues be completely Bill free (outside of like an episode or two's worth of relevance, unless he put them into a particularly stinging situation). It would feel fresher and also streamline the plot, lol.

Overview:

- Dipper is stuck travelling the multiverse with the Oracle and keeps himself sane by thinking of Mabel and protecting various versions of her.

- Mabel is investigating his disappearance in Gravity Falls and is working on a portal/portal equivalent with Bill to bring him back.

- The kids may or may not be aware of this.

Looking at the main series of events, I think it'd be neat go back to the apprenticeship conflict, where Ford could be approached by the Oracle (or something else that makes sense) with the promise of being a "hero," but knows better now because of Dipper and his experiences with Bill. It's kind of a more convoluted version of Ford's proposal to Dipper in canon, and they basically learn the same thing, lol. You can hang out with ghosts if you want, but demons are gonna get you. Maybe being a child with siblings is all you need.

(Stan could also be offered this, given the Oracle already knew he- or at least someone with his face- would beat Bill, but I think it's well established he isn't very interested in doing anything without family.)

All in all, things might be a bit crowded with two antagonists. But I do like the concept of Bill's arrival and subsequent chaos triggering Dipper and the Oracle's return to Mabel's dimension. I also love the idea of Bill, the Oracle, and some secret third thing all trying to pull the Pines family apart, and it's like a Man vs. God turned into a Family vs. Destiny thing, idk. Just trying to make it feel bigger.

Thank you for reading all this. It was a lot to draw. Next time I do anything for Relativity Falls, I'm gonna go back to the smaller things like Mabel bonding with the kids and stuff like that.

THANK YOU/I'M SORRY, I'm surprised there isn't more Bhaalist Dark Urge/Spawn Astarion stuff out there. Don't get me wrong, I love a good evil power couple, but who can resist the good ol'heartbreak of a vicious unending cycle brought on by your own senselessness!

That wasn't something I was interested in previously just because acquiring the slayer form isn't part of his canon, but I've been looking at enough fromsoft games' monster designs that I might be a little inspired to try LOL

Also I am just a fan of the canon design and never before thought it needed altering. But I'll let it cook ;)

God damn it.

DU drow was VERY antagonizing towards the emperor since the moment he dropped the facade, which made the attempt ESPECIALLY hilarious - that poor guy is so, so lonely.

I don't recall the exact wording in-game, but once the emperor took his shiny squid pecs out and shot his shot, DU drow recoiled and called him disgusting. After having the visions of Stelmane forced upon him to make whatever baffling point the emperor was trying to make, DU drow smugly asserted that he had finally let the mask slip and their very terrible date ended with the Emperor enforcing their reluctant need for one another, for the time being.

In-prose, that would honestly be pretty much it. DU drow would have reacted with absolute revulsion at the prospect of being hit on by a mindflayer, and taken the Emperor's (miscalculated) moment of lashed-out vulnerability as a win - as proof that he was exactly as duplicitous as he always assumed the Emperor to be.

I can assure everyone that I am as entertained by the thought as the rest of you and it is in the cards for future art, I just have... So many prompts... I have at least 5 different mini-comics I want to make, BESIDES singular pieces, BESIDES the fanfic... I wish I had more time and more hands.

But DU drow's unlikely semi-success as a parental figure is hilarious to me. I think about it constantly.

I haven't entertained that thought much because its antithetical to DU drow's character. Whether "good" or evil, he wouldn't allow Astarion to ascend because of his fear of no longer being needed and his reluctance to watch his partner be consumed by out-sourced power and changed into something he despises. Realistically, in a world where Astarion is allowed to ascend they could only break up and inevitably kill each other soon after.

That said, I am fascinated by the Sun King and the implications that path has for his character. So far that is an arc that I can only really see Astarion taking on alone, though - that might change in the future, might not. We'll see!

IF I CAN MAKE IT NOT ENTIRELY MISERABLE, I JUST MIGHT.

He got 2 out of 3 questions wrong - which is to say he was way too honest and Astarion didn't like that.

Except for the "when is he the happiest" question, which he correctly answered with "when he's neck deep in gore".

This is not even a lore-embelishment, this is actually how that scene went for me and I cackled about it for ages.

He would love to get tied up for old-times' sake. I doubt he knows much about fancy knots but Astarion might (though I might be in a minority that doubts his enforced "sex life" was actually that interesting at all.)

You are mostly correct. Bhaalist drow, both pre and post tadpole would be much more keen on the idea of having people around who fulfill their every desire - EXCEPT for killing. That is a joy they take on for themselves.

"Canon" DU drow values his independence a lot, on the other hand. He's neutral on the idea of slavery (what a sentence) and wouldn't be opposed to temporary servicing, but the idea of having someone around waiting for orders doesn't attract him at all, or at least would get on his nerves quick. He much preffers to do things himself and makes sure that other people see how much he does not need assistance.

The answer is yes, basically LOL.

DU drow both adores and despises Sceleritas presence and he doesn't know why. It very much reflects the type of relationship they used to have prior to DU drow's memory loss, and it's one of those things that he has conflicting feelings about but not any context for them.

I sadly doubt that the boys would become parents during Shadowheart's lifetime (it's for the best, they have a lot of work to do before I would trust them not to drop a baby), but honestly she strikes me as really liking kids as long as she doesn't have to, well, have them LOL.

I think it is less about bottoming-topping and more about enjoying a more submissive role during sex, as well as in other scenarios. He believes that giving control away is, in a way, a show of devotion that goes both ways - his own for the willingness to do so, and his partner's for not taking advantage of it despite his wanting them to do so.

With one-night-stands (which he occasionally had pre-tadpole) he would still bottom without any of the submissiveness. This is because he didn't have the capacity to understand what it was about bottoming that attracted him, and led him to feeling constantly unfulfilled and frustrated (he just isn't build for no-strings-attatched type of arrangements, lol.)

This means that he really could operate either way depending on the partner as long as he got that fix of docility, whether it be from the bottom or top.

I think of Astarion as being similarly versatile but leaning more in the opposite direction when it comes to power-dynamics - though it being less about dominance itself and more about being pampered and catered to - and, of course, getting to do what he wants. Though he's willing to try most things a partner is particularly enthusiastic for just to see how he feels about it.

That said with DU drow he does prefer to top for a plethora of reasons.

I didn't have this piece of lore thought-up at the time, but I should have made them look like the lady he lost his virginity to.

Him and Astarion were gobbling those things up until the emperor reveal, then they both quit it cold-turkey after DU drow stomped the astral-tadpole dead (and back then you didn't have to roll any dice to do it, because otherwise we would have weird veiny DU drow to deal with for sure because he would NOT have suceeded that save.)

DU drow's feelings towards animals is a constant in every iteration of his character. They are organic little pieces of art wandering about the world that act upon their own laws and regulations, ones which humanoids aren't privy to - except for when they intrude into that world through magic and try to understand it through their overly-complicated systems and concepts. If a cat made the temple it's home, it can stay.

Meet the triplets! I let the delusions win!

Sabah, the eldest. Carmelo, the middle. Abel, the youngest. Three healthy baby boys!

A little lore drop about Marzio. He really, really wants a family! Specifically, he wants a family he can love, nurture, and NOT slaughter. It’s his one goal in life, and he would be devastated beyond imagination if this future was taken from him. So naturally, the triplets are conceived before anyone *cough* Jaheira *cough* can make Marzio paranoid his future children will be Bhaalspawn with horrible urges like he once had.

In his epilogue, he gets his happy family! He did get a bit more than he bargained for (in one go, at least) with triplets instead of a single. But Marzio probably cried tears of joy every single time he looked at his babies for the first week after their birth. He’s a very, very happy papa!

Gortash is in over his head though, and he has no idea how he got here! But you bet I have more planned for how Gortash handles fatherhood 🫵! You bet I’ll be posting more art for this asap!

i like working within the boundaries of canon, so like many mercars endras was adopted by charon mercar, who in my canon has a wife and older daughter, and had just lost a young son of his own at the time. cue uhh completely happy childhood free of emotional trauma as an adopted elf in the imperium

charon pulled some strings and had him join the military when he was in his late teens, which he served in for years all the way to the first year or so of the antaam rebellion.

for reasons i'll get into someday, he left the military and his family after the antaam were halted in vyrantium, and travelled to minrathous. he fell in with the shadow dragons a year or so after that

sorry for letting this rot in my ask box for a week but I wanted to do a 'when I reach 200 followers ill drop the lore' thing. So here we go!

The name suggests what the plot is, they are all lost in time. Each of them thrown around into a different universe or timeline. Like the past and future. Each of the three drones find themselves thrown into a different part of history.

1: Uzi

Uzi was thrown into the past. She doesn't know how but at first she didn't realise! It wasn't until she noticed just how different copper 9 was that she felt something was not quite right, including cyn's snarky remarks before the entire realisation.

After accepting that she was sent back in time somehow she remembered she could use this as an excuse to figure out what exactly is wrong with her and her entire past. She could learn about what her mother really was like, the truth about the absolute solver and what N was like before he became a 'soft drone'.

Did Cyn also creepily demand a wig similar to her hair to be put onto the tail she's trapped in? Yes. Yes she did. Even though Cyn constantly annoys Uzi they still find a way to get along.

2: N

N was thrown into the future. It was not exactly the 'dream future with my future wife' he was expecting. All he did was step outside and everyone was immediately wanting to attack him. All he could think about was that everything was resolved with the disassembly drones and the worker drones, why are they fighting now?

Well turns out that the drones Like V and the future N had moved their core into the body of a deceased worker drone in order to not be 'as threatening' towards worker drones. It actually worked pretty well! Years after peace and if they saw a disassembly drone after all that time, they have a right to believe somehow some more where sent to wipe the workers and the rebellious drones like N and V out.

3: J

(no images cause she is introduced later)

She got thrown into a random universe. One that looked nice, peace, harmony and a way to make nature thrive. It was covered in grass and moss and looked similar to earth. Only thing is she saw no other disassembly drones, only worker drones. It wasn't long until she was chased out with high tech weapons. It turned out the workers in this universe did something useful for once to get rid of the sky demons for good instead of hiding behind doors like a coward.

It wasn't until she met J, or well what looks and seems like j.

Psd-T, Otherwise known as 'Prototype serial designation T' comes across as a drone who is similar to J and uses J as a main nickname. Some drones names where different in this universe so V just took it as 'Well maybe her name is just different here's or maybe she's a completely different drone!

4: How did they get there?

The plot revolves around the drones trying to discover how they got sent to the timelines or why they where being shown it. They don't know why or how any of this happened but their goal is to get back to eachother, not after taking a snoop out of curiosity though.

So yes. The ways of how they get there are revealed later in the future!

Sure! Honestly I would love anything that you guys do! I love and cherish all art I receive because my dream is just to build a community where people can be themselves :) fan creations are honestly things that motivate me alot so it doesn't feel like 'im doing this just for me' (well I sorta am) but I also want to make people happy and to enjoy things!

And feel free to draw other characters and ocs based of this au! I would love to see what shenanigans they get up to.

Okay, so here’s some lore!! I’m glad you asked this actually, because it could help with understanding a continuation, which I am currently writing tiny moments between reader and Luigi since one of my little babies asked for some more moments of them between nights in the princess’ chamber where they have to act ‘normal’.

You'd first glimpsed your father's true nature at fifteen, during your first Grimguard Breaking ceremony. The sight haunts you still. A merchant's son forced to maul his own brother while the court watched in silence. That night you saw your father's face in the torchlight — not the grieving widower who'd lost your mother, but a man who smiled at the sounds of breaking.

In just ten years, he'd transformed from a man who wept at your mother's garden into someone who collected his army of hounds.

You remember how he'd stroked the newly-made Grimguard's head afterward, the same way he used to pat your hair when you were small.

Luigi had been fifteen when they caught him on the cliffs of Ironmere, fingers bloodied from climbing, still wearing the soot of his village's ashes. He'd nearly made it, too — just a hundred feet more and he would have crossed into Brightshore's borders. But the patrol had watched him scale impossible heights, tracked his desperate ascent through knife-edge rocks where even mountain goats feared to step. The king's hunters didn't see a refugee that day — they saw raw potential.

A boy who could climb sheer cliff faces would make a fine hound, they reasoned. Better to collar such agility than waste it in a prison cell. So they took him, not because he was a criminal, but because he'd shown such magnificent desperation. After all, the best Grimguards are made from those who have nothing left to lose.

The story of Luigi's thorned muzzle is written in the scars around his mouth. During his fitting, he'd stood straight-backed while other captures cowered, meeting each handler's eyes with unflinching defiance. "I'm not your dog," he'd declare, voice steady even as they approached with the steel. "My name is Luigi." He'd repeat it like a prayer, like a challenge, like the last ember of a fire refusing to die.

The irony wasn't lost on anyone when he finally snapped — literally — taking a handler's finger clean off at the second knuckle. They'd laughed as they fitted the first row of thorns, silver needles placed with surgical precision around his jaw. "See?" they'd mocked, "Bites like a proper hound after all." Each word spoken now draws blood, the thorns kissing his flesh, but still, he speaks.

The Teething is the kingdom's favorite sport — a bloodied ballet where fresh captures learn to dance.

In the training arena's dust, new pups clash with only muzzles and bare hands as weapons. These matches run brief but brutal, lasting until first blood or submission. Merchants close their shops to watch, peasants press against the arena's bars, and children perch on shoulders to glimpse tomorrow's hounds. It's a grim circus where the kingdom's people can witness their future protectors being forged, betting copper pieces on which pup will break first — both bone and spirit.

The Muzzling, however, is high art for the nobility.

Full-ranked Grimguards locked in formal combat, their muzzles gleaming with wrapped thorns and ceremonial spikes. They fight until one lies still or submits — though death, while officially forbidden, is an open secret in these matches. Noble houses sponsor their favorite Grimguards, wagering fortunes and political favors on the outcome. The King himself often arranges these matches with careful purpose — nothing demonstrates power quite like watching your rival's prized hound writhe in the dirt, choking on submission.

Some say more wars have been prevented in the Muzzling arena than at any treaty table.

Luca Lore: the Tatts

Yeah, I wasn't expecting tattoos on Luca Cordero di Montezemolo either. His commitment to menswear is such that he's rarely seen less than fully covered from neck to ankle (he would have made a marvellous Victorian maiden), and none of his regular looks lend themselves much to body art. He's usually all about suits, ties, sweaters tied over his shoulders, and occasional loafers without socks.

But there are two tattoos to talk about. (That we know of. If he has more, drop me a DM or an ask and please tell me how you found them).

The most photographed one is the turtle, probably because it's close to his inevitably fabulous watch situation. There's so few photos of either that it's difficult to verify exactly when he got them. The photo above is from 2009, and the Financial Times mentioned that he got his tattoos (note the plural) with his second wife Ludovica Andreoni in 2005. (That same profile, by Hannah Roberts, mentions that the tattoos give him "a raffish air," and has some seriously golden lore that will be the subject of future posts. I hope none of y'all are especially fond of wild boar).

However, I wonder about the origin of Luca's ink. The turtle on his left wrist contains the letters L, M and G, which correspond to the initials of his three youngest children (born between 2001 and 2010). Which makes me wonder if he got the tattoo in 2005, per the FT profile, with the first two initials, and added the third later. L is the youngest child and the tattoo had a nice balance with just the G and M, so the L being added last is plausible.

Then there's the other one.

It's a five-pointed star, which looks about the same size as the turtle, on the inside of the opposite forearm. There is shading around the points and inside are initials that correspond to Luca's two elder children. The star looks newer, but it seems odd to start with a tattoo for the younger kids rather than the older ones.

Luca has five children in total. A daughter (who has his exact face and will feature in a future lore post because I am in love with her) with his first wife, a son with a former partner, then a long gap (during which he had a serious relationship with a stunning French-Italian actor named Edwige Fenech famous for her roles in goofy sex comedies) before having three children with Ludovica. He hasn't ever said his tattoos relate to his kids (that I can find) but it seems like a reasonable guess.

She stumbles upon an injured and passed out Arthur Lester and takes him to a hospital near by in a small town they were passing through and has been visiting him during his coma(she claims it's to make sure he isn't a serial killer).

From there she ends up tagging along.

Turns out her parents were part of a cult that worshipped the King in Yellow and Rue was gifted with "special dreams" which allow her to see the supernatural as well as the Dreamlands and in rare cases, the future/past.

Ngl the idea for her was just "What if Arthur was forced to confront his parental guilt in a deeper lively by giving him a child/teen companion with him?" And the outcome was...well....

It's complicated(and don't get me started on them in s4 yeeesh)...

lo and behold ayano art (done with mouse!) the uniform is ib one of the concepts of yk the uniform. i found the idea super cute and i always wanted to draw it and now i did!!

i think ayano would be relatively the same. she still starts off as practically emotionless girl barely feeling anything but the complex secondary emotions on a small scale (bitterness for example). in this she's also autistic and has OLD. (bear with me bear with me). (i also like "aishi condition" aspect i wont lie because of the supernatural undertones of being cursed is actually cool but in this it's more like an add-on than anything) like in her lore video her childhood was not the best and she felt nothing. she didn't feel guilt, she didnt feel as if she were real and she felt as if she were an abomination throughout her childhood because there was something 'wrong' with her. in this rewrite concept, the doctors werent specialized in dealing with OLD (because its not medically recognized as a problem) or autism (afabs are typically masking and are often cast aside when looking for diagnosis because majority of researchers use amabs symptoms specifically instead of looking at the whole spectrum) because of this she was bullied and seen as "not normal" by her peers. (people find her off-putting still in akademi because they arent able to read her face since she's masking like all the time unless she's with taro) in this i imagine that ryoba claims its a condition that majority of the women in their family faces (they just arent diagnosed) and that she will find something that will help "complete" ayano in the future. and so not only does she have trouble unmasking, she still feels as if something (someone) is missing within her life. this is what she thinks because it was what ryoba also went through. that "something" is eventually found out to be taro.

upon bumping into him and her being faced with kindness it made ayano fall in love with taro. because she's never felt this way about anyone before,, she feels extremely overwhelmed being near him and gets extremely nervous and whatnot. (sometimes if she gets too close her emotions are actually SO overwhelming and everything is happening so fast that she verges on a mental breakdown) essentially being around taro makes ayano feel like she isnt hiding behind a mask that she cant drop AND makes her feel like a normal person (for the most part anyway, she still is easily overwhelmed.) unfortunately, due to OLD she's faced with some intrusive thoughts and feeling of possessiveness especially around other people that like taro because she feels like her only source of being normal will be ripped away from her.

i think that ayano in this concept would be angry towards the rivals, yes, but not enough to genuinely commit murder. (barely anyway. intrusive thoughts are very strong and its hard sometimes to fight the urge to give in) sometimes she would have the weapon, poison etc etc in her hand but when she's near her target an overwhelming sense of disgust washes over herself. ayano rationalizes it by talking to herself that "taro would be upset and would probably reject me if i killed her" or "taro might come in here and-" basically she uses taro as her pillar of support even if its her own feelings that make her disgusted in herself.

that doesn't mean she's not weirdly possessive over taro. she borders on basically stalking him because being near his presence is enough to make her day better (as i said before- the masking is easier to go away because taro's presence is calming)

on another another note, ayano is bisexual and asexual here,, if taro were taeko she'd still be the same way. she doesn't want to have children because in her mind she doesn't see a point to it. she thinks that her child has a high possibility of coming out like her and thats a thought she wants to entertain. plus sex is so whatever.

notes:

ayano is 5'7,, both jokichi (6'0) and ryoba (5'8) have taller genes on both sides of their family compared to the avg height.

ayano's favorite color is pink and gray. pink because that color stands out more when she's with taro, and gray because its taro's favorite color

while she doesn't actively kill people she's still not on the morally just side of things. in this concept one of the worst things was kidnap musume for ransom in order to indebt kokona to her or drugging a couple people (#girlthings)

she has above average grades but she isnt an insane genius prodigy like kaga or whatever.

she is (unwillingly) in the student handbook for a uniform guide (you would think it would be the student council but they have a totally different uniform so)

she still killed that cat like in the lore video

this isnt really important compared to the rest but she only eats vegetables raw

she DOES end up with taro. they get married in the future even.

I really don't think there is DU drow without the DU part. It's a pivotal aspect of his development not only biologically but in regards to all that happened in his life that eventually led him to be the way he is 🤷‍♂️ Like, his name itself is kind of a joke, he really isn't much of a drow to begin with!

His size, features, strength, it's all due to being a Bhaalspawn, and not a matter of winning (or losing, depending of how you look at it) the genetic lottery. Without it, he'd just be some forgettable Jaluk.

Rayas at the RTV Tour, 2

Second week of the Puzzlevision Tour, hosted by @rtv-puzzlevision-studios

Note 1: Once again, writing this in first person. Had a lot of fun with it

Note 2: I did mentioned that my main Oc is in the spectrum. But as the Tour goes, she might slowly try to interact a little bit. Especially when either trying to make social interaction, or asking if anyone saw her missing drawing. And a little lore drop on her.

Note 3: Interactions to the inserts are all Bg and not always direct for bigger actions, and as to not break the rules. But now, interacting with the RTV AU characters and sonas happens.

Final Note: Same as last post. Rayas is a participant, and not the same for a future RTV version.

Story

"THANK YOU ALL FOR VOTING! LOOKS LIKE WE WILL GO TO THE ART DEPARTMENT FIRST!" Said Puzzles, the host of the Puzzlevision Tour, after the final vote is set.

After climbing the stairs (of Doom), so far, I'm glad no one tripped on it (I saw someone change to a dragon and skipped the stairs, wow! But is that allowed?) (Marie by @fenicearts420); but for some reason, why did I felt nervous anyways (?). It's not like someone tries to trip me, or someone is glaring at me from atop the staircase. Yet, I still cling to my umbrella that I brought; again, it makes me feel safe.

But alas, I think the whole tour won't be so eventful for the bad; though, some of the participants got a little keen such as how to address Puzzles. As Mr Puzzles... or RTV (Reality TV? well, I know that) said the host, but "Mr Puzzles" is okay (preferably).

(Well, I will out of politeness. I said before, this place/world is different, with its own rules. My Visitor arm band I subconsciously made is for a reason)

Now, walking through the halls of the second floor studio, Mr Puzzles explains that the Social Media Department is connected and just below the Art Department, Block B; and those two that close are just right. So far, all is fine; and hope everyone or some try to be polite. And still, I'm looking for the drawing that went up the second floor somewhere where the whole group is heading. For a moment, I thought I saw something thin go into a vent from above the ceiling; hope it's the drawing. But if it is... where did it go? Never mind, must stick to the tour.

Hm... wonder if I can try to make small talk while walking to the Art Department with the group. I can try to practice in case... I have to speak to Mr Puzzles if he addresses me first. I saw some participants who are TV Heads and slightly look like Mr Puzzles, or close (I've always been curious about them). I could start with the one with a Kuromi cap and purple teeth (Crystal by @kuromipuzzles2000), since she's the one nearest to me after climbing up the stairs in the back.

I subtly got a little close to her. I looked at her for a bit and didn't took long for her to notice... I slightly smiled with my second mouth (one to pronounce my emotions much more) as a silent Hello along with a small wave of my hand... Why is she giving me a straight frown...? Did I do something wrong? Did I interrupted something? Maybe- Oh, she slightly smiled back, albeit faintly with a raised eyebrow. Okay, she looks forward; I follow. I don't think it went bad, just neutral. Nothing verbal, but at least, I'm trying. Huh? It looks like someone also wanted to talk to her, the same ghost-like person (Loyboo by @alelathedragonwho) who loudly boasted to see the Art Department (I won't blame him for being too happy. Plus, for my ears getting hurt, all forgiven). But he seems to be hesitant before changing his mind. Hm... I'm... considering if to at least, make brief contact since he appears too shy; I don't want to overwhelm anyone. (Wonder if there's a unique way to interact with him, after seeing his Boo tie)

Anyways...

During the rest of the tour, I hope to gain enough courage ask for help from the three guards if they could look for my lost drawing. But um... I feel like it won't be easy. Swag seems to be a little too rude after his interaction with two participants (sorry). Chris seems like it, but it looks like he seemed a little stressed with Swag's antics; guess I rather not give him trouble with finding my lost drawing. Hm... Lucian, the third security guard who ushered me and a few others being the last ones, who knows. I hope that while I'm looking around, he could get the hint; but then again, what if... oh. Up ahead, we are close. I navigate very slowly into the crowd without interrupting anyone, and avoiding some that give me vibes they would immediately not like me for the smallest thing, but I think it's just my anxiety making me think things that have not happened yet. I have to admit, some of them scare me (sorry).

(If you look at my broken left side of my face, I'm doing my best not to think about it getting bigger, or a new one to show up. All I can say, it will never heal as it isn't a physical one)

Alright. Finally arriving to the Art Department.

Mr Puzzles stands and everyone stops as the main doors to the Art Department is. And then, a peculiar floating woman with a color picker for a head (and a paintbrush tail, that's interesting) appears past the door. She greets all of us, very excited in her tone. I even notice the color on her head and fingers change color based on her current mood.

“Colores, head of our Art department and funny enough the younger SISTER of Lucian over there.” said Mr Puzzles to everyone, introducing the head of the Art Department.

Colores, as in Colors; that's a nice name. (Hello Colores) (My name, Rayas, means Stripes in Spanish, I love stripes). And she's Lucian's sister, interesting. I couldn't help, or if anyone else did, look back and see Lucian wave at his sister... She didn't waved back. I wonder what is the reason for sibling rivarly or squabble going with them, but I'm not part of their story to learn more (I'm just a visitor); and not even thinking of leaving what I call, an Imprint. Direct or Indirect, I won't get into it.

“Well, as Mr. Puzzles has already told you, I’m in charge of this department. Ah- you know what? Just come into one of the studios!”

Colores lets everyone else into one of the offices of the Art Department. Many rows of seats, pin boards and screens on each row. This room is VERY big, big enough for at least... no more than 35 or so. There's posters around, sketches, concept art, and ideas of many sorts. I noticed that most, are for stuffed toy concepts. Why do I feel, we will all get a free plushie today? But alas, this place is nice. So... what else the Art Department can produce? (I wonder if blankets and tote bags are also made here, the concept for making them that is. If a tote bag, maybe I could use it to carry anything the tour offers for free)

Hm, while everyone is settling, I was just about to start make small interactions when Colores spoke again.

“The Art Department is responsible for all the designs you see around the studio from merchandise to websites, although the latter with the help of the Social Media Department! In general we always work closely together with other departments. For example also with the Film Department when it comes to ads!”

Not just the Social Media Department, even the Film Department works with the Art Department? Huh, well, that's a good strategy, even if have no experience with advanced marketing (only from what I heard).

“Among other things we also take care of the fanmail.” added Colores.

Um... what? Oh, right, Mr Puzzles here is very popular, so he has so many fans. But.... why is the topic of fanmail coming from? (and what does have to do with the Art Department?)

I noticed Mr Puzzles jump, and turn away from the window, as if the topic wasn't necessary to be mentioned- Oh!

The timing! (calm down Rayas) The nearest air vent that's just above and closest to the window, my drawing just flew out of it, and very quietly (how is it flying without sound?). It sticked to just behind Mr Puzzles, on the window as soon as he looked away (phew). Again, I cannot interrupt (the fanmail convo) since it'll be very rude of me; I don't want to rub people the wrong way, especially Mr Puzzles (from this world). Just, has anyone noticed it? Hopefully not. I don't want to hear someone indicating the drawing on the window, and give away it was mine (again, it has my watermark, and no way to deny the ownership). Sigh... I'll worry later.

At the moment, the convo changed to the story of someone, a fan, breaking in the studio to... propose to Mr Puzzles? (and with a ring?). While at the same time, glance back to the drawing in brief moments to not show my anxiety, and making sure it has not moved. But also couldn't help look that Mr Puzzles' smile was straining as the topic went, but still covering it by chuckling; I cannot imagine what is like to have many fans, going to lengths to see their idol, and someone reminding him of the incident. (In my mind, I want to be honest. In Colores' place, I would not mention any further if it makes Mr Puzzles uncomfortable)

I also am aware, what I imagine the rest of the tour participants are feeling right now as the topic went. But I rather not look around to see. I can hear them alright.

“Security was raised after THAT incident, mind you.” Mr Puzzles cleared his throat.

Well, that's a good thing.

Hold on... if security was raised, and while not looking around the ceiling, wonder if the cameras caught sight of my lost drawing flying around.

“These are filled with mail from Valentine’s day. We still have to go through the majority of them, but you won’t believe how much of those are fanfic-”

Mr Puzzles loudly interrupts (ouch my ears) and quickly jumps in front of Colores before she could say more about the Valentines' cards he received (and the fanfics). This sudden action makes enough for my drawing to fly above the window, and up to and around the ceiling... and somehow not landing (is it, taunting me?) on the ground or into the crowd, but onto a hanging lamp. (please don't move from there)

I wonder, wouldn't it be by sheer timing, the drawing passed by the cameras? And whoever saw it would compare the watermark to my head? But.... who knows.

Colores seems to get back to topic at the moment. I see there's a table with what look like.... stuffed toys?

“Ah, of course! My bad, I got sidetracked… Well, I mentioned before that our department is responsible for the merch designs, so I thought: Hey, why not give something to you guys? Let’s see…we have plushies of all the cast members and Mr. Puzzles, of course!

Oh, so I was right about the possibility of everyone getting a free stuffed toy. Sweet! Hah! The same ghost-like person is super happy to receive one (look at his tail go!) Looking at the plushies, they all look cute. To be honest, I find all stuffed toys cute (and comforting); cute enough that I would want to make a sort of playroom with many plushies I can fill it with. (Sometimes, it makes me feel like a kid again. But sadly, we don't live forever; only the memories)

...Huh, no Mario plushies? Oh, right... I prefer not to ask (how could he not known...? But again, I'm just a visitor; and this place/world is different)

I got slightly startled when Mr Puzzles tossed two plushies (Saiko and Bob) to some of the tour participants, one was close to me who grabbed the Bob plushie. Apparently, the Bob and Saiko plushies are limited, since the actual Bob and Saiko are no longer part of the crew. What happened? I don't know. Does anyone? Where their attitudes too much? (hope they are still out there doing fine)

Before bringing my attention back to the table of stuffed toys, I looked up where my lost drawing is sitting. It almost looks like is about to... to...! The drawing falls to one of the cubicles...

Rayas, it's okay I told myself. No one will notice it (if anyways). Relax. Remember the Tour rules, no wondering off. You'll eventually get the drawing back. You have not crossed the bridge... yet

Attention back to the table of plushies ranging from Mr Puzzles, SMG3, Tari, Meggy, Boopkins, and the limited Saiko and Bob plushies.

“So PLEASE, take one of your liking. Max is two.” Indicated Mr Puzzles as he moves away.

Well, guess I could get myself busy with receiving a free stuffed toy. Two per person. Well, looking that I'm holding my umbrella, I'm doubting if I'll receive two plushies max; my hands might be too busy. Looking that Colores is randomly giving them (is there or no choice to which plushies everyone gets?), I sort of though I saw from the corner of my eye, someone break from the group? (It's actually Astro by @the-masked-astro)Did they saw my drawing and went to look for it? If yes, then guess they'll bring it back to me. With my watermark of my head and name, it shouldn't be hard to know who owns it.

As I'm getting close to the table of plushies, I'm starting to think that maybe... I can ask Colores if she can allow me to get my drawing. But then I went against it, because after making things awkward with Mr Puzzles out loud, I feel like I don't trust telling her. What if she sees it and loudly praises it, and it gets Mr Puzzles' attention? Whether Mr Puzzles likes it or not (mostly), I don't think I'll want to have all attention on me (I cannot have that. Too many eyes). Not that I'm scared of Mr Puzzles rejecting it, and maybe toss it in the trash/tear in half, it's how I'll take it and have me to destroy it; anything I make from where I'm from and where it is made from, only I can unmake/destroy it.

(Note, this is the first time I meet a different Mr Puzzles. And... especially, too early to meet this special one. Maybe I should have abandoned the drawing...)

But... these are just thoughts of anxiety. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it. It hasn't happened yet.

Now close enough, I focus back on the plushies. There's still more left, and deciding whether I just want one; considering I have my umbrella, one is enough. I wouldn't mind much which one, I'm between Tari and Mr Puzzles (from here). The former, because blue is my favorite color, and close to the color of my split hair; and because like her, I'm also shy, but I'm a slow-to-warmup. Mr Puzzles' plushie, a unique one; and it has the colorful cape-like coat. Hm... I could receive the latter as another thing to make me feel less nervous when around Mr Puzzles. (Or maybe, imagine if I get the fun idea that if by lucky chance, find other unique Puzzles Plushies from different places? And set them, like... a collection?)

I'm now very close to Colores now. What plushie do I get?...

Not the now rare Saiko (luck for the ghost participant) and Bob, or Tari,... but Mr Puzzles. (Guess I might start the Puzzles Plush quest, LOL). I smiled politely to Colores. And as I turn around to walk a couple of steps...

"Why, I like the creativity on the vest you put on." Colores complimented at me. "Especially the bow on the back. Oh and your blue puzzle piece tie clip."

I turn around and smile lightly.

'Thanks,' I thanked her.

I... I couldn't believe one of the heads of Puzzlevision Studios would talk to me; a compliment. Well, the uniform isn't the official uniform, but I crafted it as best as I could to follow the standards (and I hope I left the receipt back home). Besides, I saw some add their tastes to it, so I was right to add the stripes on the back, right shirt cuff and the mismatched striped socks (I love stripes). I... I almost forgot about my lost drawing there. Maybe things will go... fine?

"I cannot help but, notice, you seemed, worried?" asked Colores as she slowly keeps giving out plushies with her tail while facing me. (didn't know she could multitask as well) "Is everything okay?"

Was it very obvious? Or maybe she has a strong sense of empathy? Or maybe she noticed the meaning behind the blue puzzle piece tie clip? Sigh, guess I'll be honest with the issue of my lost drawing, but I'll be vague; and not point where the drawing is. I knew to always say the truth, but if anything else, prepare another truth for later.

Slightly fiddling with my new Mr Puzzles plushie and then my blue puzzle piece tie clip... As there's very few participants. And even though Colores doesn't have an actual face, I still get nervous when trying eye contact; a weakness I'm trying when meeting new people.

'Well, I... brought something (half true) that I made, ...but I lost it (half true). And I've been trying to see if I can find it... and... I'm too nervous to ask for someone if they seen it (still true), and to give it back if they find it. It has my watermark of my face in a corner... (true) I... I'm sorry, I didn't want to bother...'

I sigh in defeat as if sounding I'm giving up. I feel an hand on my shoulder. It was Colores, see appears to want to reassure me.

"Oh I see... Is it a drawing?"

I nod. I have to be honest.

"No worries, I'm sure what you lost will turn up. If anything, I'll try. For now, enjoy the tour." Her head and fingers change color to a pastel tone to it, what I assume was a calming and reassuring tone. And a pat on my back.

Walking to join the rest, this helped me calm down, as she hands out the plushies to the last people (some didn't get one, or some weren't interested). And... I'm considering if I should have told her that my drawing is just... Wait, I glanced just a little to the back before my focus was back on what next of the tour, Mr Puzzles and the same wandering participant (wearing blue and orange; complimentary colors) (and also in the drawing) were coming back... And the participant, doesn't seem to have noticed my drawing, nor have it as they came to join back the group empty-handed. (... crap. Pardon the expression)

Sigh... what now? (so much to have my hopes partially up)

While Mr Puzzles and Colores chatted a little away from the group, I'm mentally debating whether to go and recover my drawing. But... the rules are the rules. (I cannot be the second person to break away) Well, the least I can do before everyone settles, I can try to meet a few new faces then. While the TV head with the purple teeth and Kuromi cap was the first to interact, and even when she was polite enough to greet me her way, her straight frown... I sort of felt discouraged to speak to her again (unless her frown was just an act, maybe I can try again). There's still the other TV heads, but... I don't know; I'm still curious though. Looking around... There's a robot rabbit (Bunnybot by @selfshippinglover), but he appears to already be socializing with his own group (characters by @scimagic and @michaelscorneroftheinternet), a fish and human mix, and another person with glasses and Puzzlevision logo on their left lens; so no. How about... the ghost-like person with their limited Saiko plushie?

He seem very shy for some reason, like, he wanted to ask questions like he stated during his boast; or maybe they want to talk to someone. But he's hesitating. But I thought I was very sure there was enough time to talk approach him. Sigh...

"Well, then...Since last time worked so well, how about I let you choose the next department AGAIN? (has his voice been loud before?)

Mr Puzzles has announced to start another vote. Everyone huddles over towards Mr Puzzles. Well, seeing that my drawing is still where it is, I think it's time for me to-

"...and don’t think about SNATCHING something that belongs to the studio, as great as some of the artist tools and merch look. Camera sees ALL and that jazz.~” Mr Puzzles added. And points to the cameras.

Well, I don't think anyone would (be bold) steal property from the studio. That's why security is there everywhere.

Wait... Oh, Oh no. I can't get my drawing! If I stray to do so, the cameras will see, and everyone would assume I stole something! I... I can't... Ugh, how unfortunate. Watermarked or not, I can't risk it.

While looking at the voting area, where everyone is gathering to cast, I pray a vote to the closest department if my drawing flies into a vent and goes there... (I voted after 5 participants did theirs)

Actually... while everyones wait for the results, I think I can do a last, very brief interaction with the ghost participant after voting after me.

I slowly approach him, but not too close as not to make him nervous. Hope he notice- oh okay, he is; and he's nervous, and confused. Now, after seeing his Boo tie earlier before reaching the Art Department, time to see if this approach works. I hold my Puzzles plushie and umbrella in arm, and cover my eyes with my other hand, but fingers slightly parted to see his reaction. (I hope he doesn't find this offensive, since if he's associated with Boos, Boos get shy if looked directly and would cover their faces. The least I want is to offend someone. I just want to at least, make just one friend, but at the same time making sure he isn't overwhelmed in his space)

"Hi," I greeted him, with one of my ears moving as if waving since my other arm was busy with my umbrella and plush Puzzles. "Rayas."

A small pause. Confusion... but then he smiles at last. (did my approach worked?)

(Also, I know Boos are known to play pranks, so please don't play a prank. Everyone is on tour, and no disruptions of any kind is tolerated)

Just... I just hope the cameras saw the drawing, and/or maybe someone sees it, looks at the watermark, and goes to give it to me... Sigh... I hug my Mr Puzzles plushie and umbrella for a semblance of comfort. I want this whole tour to go fine; and the drawing of mine, not ready to share it here, I just want it back.

I was walking at a slow pace, I might not realized I gotten behind the group, in the back, but close still. And after moment, the last one to leave the door, like 10 steps made, I felt a hand on my shoulder. It startled me since there wasn't any participants that could have been behind me. Let alone Loyboo (who seems to prefer being in the back), yet he's in front of me; but will he notice?

"Keep going," I looked up, and it was Lucian. The one with a neon sign head; and Colores' sister.

The group has slowed and then stopped for the final voting results (pretty sure the Film Department), but not yet the next instruction Mr Puzzles says, and Lucian's hand is still on my shoulder. Why...? I didn't do anything wrong...? I kept hugging my plushie and umbrella.

And not saying a word, Lucian lets go of my shoulder, and hands me a rolled paper in front of me. I was confused at first, but even if I didn't unrolled it, I pieced together what it was...! Lucian's head displayed the word "Alright"

"Don't lose it, Alright? He said, with the most relaxed tone in his voice.

All I answer, was closing my eyes and nodding, and whisper a thanks. And sounding relieved.

I don't know how Lucian found it, or what happened back at the Art Department since he's the last one, and Colores stayed where she's at, and after the group left. Plus, did he finally took notice, or was it his sister? (I don't know) But I'm glad that weight of self-consciousness and anxiety was off my shoulders. Thank you Lucian.

Sure enough, I unfurled it just a little, and it was the drawing. Phew. I tuck the drawing into my vest, and inner vest pocket. Feeling confident/calm now, I slowly went through the crowd; and carefully navigated the open spaces to go through the crowd.

What a relief to finally getting it back (I wouldn't mind if I didn't find it, as long as no one sees it; it can get lost in a place no one would see and know who did it. I can draw a replica, but polished). I think the Tour will go smoothly, and have less worries.

(hm... Patience is a virtue... Good things comes to those who wait. Yeah, good things have happened)

Well, I have crossed (part of) the bridge... but I think not until the Tour is over.

The Film Department is possibly next. Wonder where that is. If it's in a different indoor block, or a separate building. If the latter, pray that there's a use for my umbrella if the sun is harsh, or light rain is to happen.

(Why do I have a nagging feeling, that my drawing won't stay in my vest and might fly off again? It's probably nothing. And hope that even in my mind, I didn't jinx it)

EDIT: I only now found there are more complete translations of the new lorebook, that may alter things here quite a bit depending on if it touches on relevant stuff. Ill probably write a more easy to follow and updated version of this post when I got less schoolwork anyway so yeah. Arknights Theory: The nature of the Lord of Fiends powers and the purpose of the black crown. IDK how to spoiler and non of what I find onlines helps with that so just know... spoilers ahead. I also wanna say that I havnt double checked a lot of this stuff, I did for some of it but id like to re-read a bunch of this when some of the CN only stuff has come to global anyway. So take with a grain of salt is all im saying that I remember right since I dont remember exactly where to find all of this info, altough I will mentioned where I thought I got it from for various evidence. So tl;dr here is that I think Amiya´s powers is actually about manipulating originium, the memory, emotion and energy blasts (also making a sword) is all extensions of that and NOT fully distinct powers like some believe, also the Lord of Fiends has to have oripathy. Also the black crown was made by Priestess to eventually facilitate her resurrection and the reason doctor convinced Theresa to transfer her powers to Amiya was part of that plan. Now, why do I think all this? Starting on Amiya´s powers. While dialogue indicates some skilled casters *can* learn multiple types of arts, Amiya is not a skilled caster. She is very powerful but not particularily skilled at it. Her powers are ALL derived from the originium arts her oripathy and Lord of Fiends nature grants her. She also had all these powers pretty much from moment 1 it seems so it seems unlikely she learned it trough practice to do many different things. So its likely one ability that is just very broad in its usage, similarily to how Rosmontis´s powers work (if I remember right Kal´tsit even says their powers are very similar in nature). Amiya can do energy blasts, view memories and sense emotions... according to Kal´tsit in chapter 7 the way sarkaz prophecies work is basically that thoughts are stored in originium allowing other sarkaz to tap into the memories in that originium to calculate a likely outcome with multiple people´s brains. So originium can store thoughts/minds. And by extension memory would be a part of that. There is also clearly stuff relating to the dead but ive heard several CN server events have gone into that more so I dont wanna speak about anything regarding dead souls until that comes to global because I do not wanna go reading very complicated lore stuff in a language I dont understand really, so ill adjust or drop this theory as nescesary based on future information of course. So, then the emotions and memory stuff is covered, making the sword is also simple, its just made of originium. So the energy blasts? Well the main way originium is used is as a power source and its required to cast arts for those without oripathy (who have originium inside them to channel arts anyway). Another piece of evidence here is that Manfred could disrupt Amiya´s arts with his own, which seem to revolve around detonating or manipulating the energy in originium, allowing him to harm Amiya when she tried to gather up energy from nearby originium. When she pushes herself extra hard she probably draws extra power from the originium in her own body, which is why it has such a negative effect on her physically even compared to other casters. This, and a bit from the new lorebook revealing the first Lord of Fiends was the first person with Oripathy, is why I think the Lord of Fiends HAS to have Oripathy.

So, with that established, why do I think the Black Crown is meant to resurrect Priestess? First of all, the Black Crown or Civilight Etherna, is tech from the advanced precursor civilization (it was not found by them but invented by them, its directly referenced as a different project to the AMa projects, which is part of what Kal´tsit is refered to by certain beings in the know about the previous civilization, the crown also resembles Mon3tr in appearance). Its stated in Amiya´s module that its purpose is to store information, memories and emotion. And we know for a fact that they were capable of brain uploading, as seen with Friston in Lonetrail. Its original purpose was as a historical record, but that doesnt mean it cant have been altered later. Priestess is stated by Friston to have created Originium, something we will likely learn more about in the Victoria arc on account of certain reveals in chapter 13. Since Originium is so closely linked to the crown, by virtue of the first infected being the first Lord of Fiends, originium was clearly created in relation to something to do with the Crown. And well.. when Priestess put the doctor into the sarcophagus she said they would be reunited and their love would outlast the stars. Despite her seeming convinced she would die.... Kal´tsit seems to have been either created or turned into what she is now by Priestess too, or well by their people at least. But for dramatic convenience I think Priestess makes the most sense. I think the crown getting linked to the sarkaz collective unconcious/dead souls (this is the part im most uncertain about because there is so little info on this on global especially) was NEVER part of the plan. Since it seems likely the previous civilization created the ancients (animal people) to drive the sarkaz away (and also be slave labour, this isnt like 100% confirmed but there is some hints for this) I suspect they saw the sarkaz as lower beings and had never considered the crown would link up with them. So I think the original purpose was that some sort of great calamity fell upon their people, Priestess tried to store her mind in the Black Crown in some process that led to the creation of Originium and because the first person to down the crown was a sarkaz made her unable to do what she originally intended, possessing a later wearer of the crown and reunite with the doctor. This part is of course pure speculation as well with very little evidence, but it does line up somewhat. And I think some of the concept trailers supports the idea the crown can let someone store their mind to take over a later host (altough not with Priestess specifically).

So, fast forward to Amiya... she was born in Rim Billiton a normal cautus girl, her family were miners and lived on a normal landship in Rim Billiton... but one day disaster struck and the ship got destroyed in a horrible disaster. This is all gone into more in To the Grinning Valley but was already implied beforehand. To the Grinning Valley is also interesting for several reasons to this theory, they explicitly call attention to how strange it is that the doctor would bring Amiya with them after finding her in the wreckage. Saving her is in line with their behavior, but why bring her along? Its common in Rim Billiton for miners to adopt other children. Why not leave here somewhere? Why bring her with them to Babel? And this isnt just Amiya wondering or an outside observer, we find out from Savage that Kal´tsit doesnt know why the doctor did what they did. And whats more, Kal´tsit believes the doctor convinced Theresa to transfer her powers to Amiya, and since no previous Lord of Fiends had done so directly, the crown picked a successor, I think the doctor also taught Theresa how she could directly move it, circumventing the dead souls of the sarkaz will being imposed on the crown´s choices. So, why Amiya? Kal´tsit either doesnt have any idea why or just didnt want to tell Savage, but it is clear that she NEVER agreed with the decision. We have some ideas why Theresa did it, Amiya not being a sarkaz would mean she would be less strongly influenced by the dead souls and the lords of kazdel would refuse to follow her. Or at least chapter 12 and 13 heavily implies this was her motive. But why did the doctor want that? In To the Grinning Valley the question of if the doctor always intended to use Amiya for that from the start and grew to care about her over time, or if they took her in with no ill intentions and then got the idea later out of desperation, is raised but left unanswered because the doctor cant remember, and no one else knows why.

I believe the doctor also wished to undermine the crown´s link to the sarkaz, and that the plan was to use Amiya as a vessel for resurrecting Priestess. And it is an interesting topic, its often brought up how much even pre amnesia doctor cared about Amiya... but in To the Grinning Valley we focus a bit on the insecurity and uncertainty Amiya and Savage have about *why*. Savage telling an anecdote about a friend who went bad after fame got to their head and admitting she doesnt know which is worse, if the doctor did love Amiya and their circumstances made them so willing to trample over what they loved that they would force the black crown on her, or if the doctor had always been intending to just use Amiya for that purpose. And Amiya admitting she never knew why doc would care for her so much. And here is an interesting thing... in anything post victoria arc, we have NEVER seen Amiya and the doctor interact so far. Amiya is in Arturia´s oprec but otherwise she hasnt been on screen post victoria arc. To the Grinning Valley is set before it. The doctor has been doing all manner of things all over Terra in that time period, but Amiya isnt there with them, she is still with Rhodes Island is clear though. So... does Amiya and the doctor still have a good relationship post Victoria arc? Doc clearly cares for Amiya still, when Rosmontis talks about missing Amiya in Lonetrail (she had been away for some weeks or months, unclear) doc agrees that they miss her too, but they dont really go into any detail and are talking about both Amiya and Logos. Depending on what we learn in the later chapters of the Victoria arc, I could see Amiya feeling rather betrayed by the doctor. Not to the point of completely cutting them out but that it might still make her a bit more distant to them. I think it would be interesting to see how Amiya would take it if she learned that the doctor had originally intended to use her for very selfish end goals. Surely the thought has crossed her mind and she just isnt willing to entertain it, but if she learns something in the climax of the Victoria arc that shakes her absolute confidence in the doctor? That could be a pretty big deal. We already know Amiya has a habit of rather then accepting people wronged her first try to look for excuses. What Theresa did to her Amiya refuses to admit is wrong even when directly pointed out to her how messed up it was (chapter 8 Rosmontis compares what Theresa did to Amiya with what Loken did to her). She isntead focuses on how she must be failing to live up to Theresa´s expectations, an idea NO ONE tried to put into her head as far as we can tell. Altough it is a little unclear because she gets VERY defensive about it when the Damazti Cluster suggests she was forced into her role at Rhodes and given too heavy responsibilities to carry. Will she do this this time as well? Look for excuses why what doctor did was "justified"? But in chapter 13 she also finds meaning in rejecting the legacy of the black crown and that she will use its powers purely for her own ideals and not worry about what its purpose is. With that in mind how would that color her perception of finding out an even older purpose for it that implicates the pre amnesia doctor?

My thoughts on Chapter 152 of Wind Breaker so spoilers ahead!

First, the title ("Symbols") is so very fitting let me tell ya.

Secondly, idk why but Sakura being worried for Umemiya is so heart warming 🥹. My son, oh my, have you have grown so much 🥹😭🤧. I hope he gets to do the "babe this isnt you" that other people have said about in previous chapters, but like in the funniest way possible.

Thirdly, this panel of Ume is insane!! LIKE THE EYEE, THIS IS BOFURIN'S LEADER Y'ALL. BEAT HIM UP UME!!

Fourthly, Endo and Takiishi tattoo lore drop??? Not me thinking that tattoo on Endo's left deltoid m. was exclusively for himself then Takiishi takes of his jacket only to reveal the same tattoo as well!?

AND THEN PROCEEDS TO LORE DROP THAT HE DREW THE TATTOO HIMSELF??? Moreover, TAKIISHI AGREED?? these two make me sick (/affectionate)

Only four emotes AND MY BEST ATTEMPT AT MIMICKING THE ART STYLE!!!

I call him Archer Graves. The lovely cousin of Ashley and Andrew Graves. Lore for him is a little loose right now, but so far:

Archer the cousin of Andrew and Ashley. Younger than Andrew, older than Ashley. He tagged along with them when they were kids a lot because he was dropped off at their house by his mom often. By spending most of his free time at their house growing up, it was no shock he would add further torment to Renee's life. And so, he was trapped in the apartment with the other two, claiming the couch as his bed and starving along with them. Having been with them most of his free time, Archer has had the mildest crush on both his cousins. Or he thinks it's a crush. The line between how much he wants to be like them and fuck them has long since blurred. It's not his fault! He never registered they were his cousins properly. Not that they feel like his cousins to begin with. He'd say he sees them more like brother and sister, although he's not sure how much better that is.

Archer has always considered himself to be the exact middle of Andrew and Ashley with only the smallest dash of himself. A blueberry mixed with strawberries and green beans. Or at least he tries. He doesn't know if he'll ever fully be his own person, but he's content at being a mix of his favorite people for now. He'll tease Andrew in the same breath he's using to hold back throw up as he watches the head get ripped off from the spinal cord. He'll shake his head disapprovingly at Ashley for trying to rid Julia's phone calls while whispering that she's clogging the phone line for actual important updates. And, just to be only himself, he'll dance along to the loud cultist music in hopes of tricking himself to liking it even if he hates it just as much as they do.

Or something like that. I might draw him more in the future. Self ship more and shit.
