your relationship is a little complicated since he's a bird and your human/fae. you do spend a lot of time together when he is human but there are still times when he is a bird.

in these times he's always seen perched on your shoulder, nuzzling into your neck and hair. you have to spend at least an hour a week picking feathers from your hair (he laughs in the background at his masterpiece)

even though he has a human side now, his bird instincts sometimes show through. he will randomly show up wherever you live with rocks, gems, sticks, and random shiny objects that he found on his way to you. this happens both when he's in human and bird form.

related to the headcanon above, you have a small box where you keep all of the gifts he gives you. you showed it to him once and he almost cried because he didn't think you'd treasure them like this.

CUDDLES. this man would love his cuddles. whether its cuddling in your hair or on your lap, while you stroke his feathers or sitting under a shady tree with his head in your lap or yours in his.

since he was a bird for his life you would probably have to teach him things like writing and reading, he would have his head over your shoulder while he hugged you into his lap, listening as you helped him read the words on the pages.

aurora is in full support of your relationship. She secretly shows diaval romantic human gestures that he later trys with you. although the first time he tried to dance with you he stepped on your feet a lot.

the cutest little kisses. whenever he kisses you he goes completely red and shy. poor baby stutters so much.

the times when Maleficent won't turn him to his human form he well squawk in her ear and annoy her until she finally agrees, always grumbling about how she would turn him into a worm if she didn't need him. meanwhile smiling slightly as he walks to go find you.

I keep seeing very weird takes about Jean-Paul and J*son T*dd being "Tim Drake haters" and I am thinking about doing that analysis I have always wanted to do about how despite Azrael taking over his mind during his era as Batman, Jean-Paul was showing (messily) that he believed Tim was a kid who should not be out there as Robin as Gotham was a cruel city that would *kill him*.

But in summary, I think it says a lot that even at his worst moment and being fully taken over by his brainwashing, Jean-Paul still managed to wake up from it before hurting Tim irreversibly (the infamous choking scene). JP not only stops himself, stopping Azrael from hurting Tim, but he even apologizes and tries to speak about what's happening to him. And one can argue how the distance he puts between himself and Tim later in Knightfall is, in JP's subconscious, a way of making sure AzBats won't hurt the kid.

Hell, there IS a panel of JP saying to Catwoman how he doesn't want to hurt Tim, and implying that him (JP) is scared of endangering Tim again. Jean-Paul explicitly tells Dick that he likes Robin, and shows certain jealousy to the bond Tim and Dick have.

And this is only New Earth, in n52 Jean-Paul liked all the bats (except Dick, supposedly). Although perhaps this is taking it too far, as n52 J*son also seemed to liked all the bats. INCLUDING TIM.

So, to summarize: Jean-Paul has never hated Tim, in fact, he seemed to be the only character written as recognizing Tim was a kid who should not be doing vigilante work. And this is CONSCIOUS Jean-Paul saying these things, vs a very conscious J*son being the one deciding to take out his anger on Tim as if Tim were to blame for the whole Joker thing.

Comparing JP to J*son in any way has no objective, as their circumstances are very different and they took very different paths regarding their anger. But implying that JP is a Tim hater because people want J*son to have someone who's also taking their anger out on Tim for no reason? I'd say Damian is right there but tbh I don't want my baby bat being labeled like that either.

(Huge disclaimer: This isn't meant as J*son bashing. His character is canonically the way he is and that's fine. My issue is people wanting to turn Jean-Paul into something he ISN'T to fit another's character's narrative. In fanfic is okay but please stop pretending those ideas are objective)

If Gabriel were to Fall, I like to think that his demon animal would be a hyena. It suits him. Their faux laughter makes me think of Gabriel’s constant fake smiles. Also, smaller creatures like spiders and frogs wouldn’t fit him too well.

Leaving aside the functionist universe, I wonder what Megatron's life would have been like if he had been forged in Caminus (despite having its flaws, it is my favorite colony 🙂)

Caminus treasures culture and art of any kind. Music, dancing, painting, anything really. So of course Megatron's poetry would not only be valued but encouraged by his surroundings. Bots close to him would probably urge him to publish his works, to create a name for himself as a poet.

In the beginning, this is just what Megatron would do. Young and inspired by the artists around him, he writes poetry that reflects the beauty of the universe. But as he grows older, as he experiences more of life and starts to see the cracks in the beautiful facade of Caminus, he grows more cynical.

When Megatron initially expresses his worries for his home world to others they tell him to turn to faith and at first this is what he does. He tries to follow the Way of Flame, seeking guidance and understanding rather than comfort. But Megatron quickly grows tired of this way of life, uncomfortable with the way Primes are fanatically worshipped and that religion (especially the Mistress of Flame) has such huge say in the running of Caminus.

Finally, tired of everything he's seen and how most camiens are willing to turn a blind eye to the problems, Megatron writes and publishes a book where he discusses this. It's a huge hit, with camiens that have felt exactly the same way but never felt the chance to express themselves coming out and vocalizing their support.

The Mistress of Flame hears about this book and actually invites Megatron to talk with her. They meet and while Megatron expresses his worries for their world the Mistress simply tells him to believe in the Primes. She then urges him to return to his poetry, stating that he should write about the beauty of Caminus again.

Megatron is greatly angered by this. While yes, he loves to be a poet, his poetry always were a way to express his view of the world, what he thought and felt. Feeling that the Mistress basically wants to turn his work into propaganda is incredibly insulting and proves to him that she does not really care about the arts, just that is aligns with her worldview. He's also angered by the way she dismisses his worries. Simply telling him to trust that faith will guide him means nothing to Megatron as he does not actually believe in the divinity of the Primes. In the end this talk only solidifies what Megatron already thought.

After this talk, Megatron publishes another book, this one even more critical than the first one. He addresses the Mistress of Flame directly as more of a cult leader rather than a religious figure and urges his readers to look beyond the veil of faith and actually face the problems of Caminus. He grows hugely popular with a large portion of camiens and together they form an activist group.

No matter what universe nor home world, Megatron is a voice of change.

I like the idea of Jonathan Crane teaching himself to read but smuggling early on because he wasn't born with innate smarts Therefore doesn't always knowing how words are correctly pronounced but hey, he's a kid. Give him a break.

Hello tumblr :3 I have some thoughts for both the Sailor Moon / TBHK-JSHK fandoms and the OSDDID community.

For clarification I am a host of a dx’d DID system. Traumagenic.

tw for like… idk ranting, abuse mentions, and things along those lines!

I have felt since system discovery that the take of “this character trope, this character in media is not accurate representation therefore this is bad and you supporting it is bad and you are bad” is kind of … stupid?

For one, everyone experiences dissociation or plurality differently. Saying people cannot enjoy Touko Fukawa & Syo as a system because it’s bad rep is weird. Saying people cannot headcanon Izuru and Hajime as a system is also weird. Personally, it’s none of your business what people find comfort in especially if they are a system or plural.

Anyways, I’m starting off with this because I think people forget that you do not have to literally interpret things like possession, mind control, or illness in media as those things. I think you can see those things as symbolism for being a system if you want.

Case 1: Hotaru Tomoe (& Sailor Saturn with Mistress 9)

In Sailor Moon- no matter which adaptation you consume Hotaru Tomoe is clearly shown to be separate from Saturn and Mistress/Messiah all while residing in the same body. In order to access herself as Saturn she has to literally meet her and be reawakened. This is a really similar experience to my system discovery and I think other systems might see it too! Mistress 9 is one of the stereotypes that people would disagree with since in canon she is a demon possessing Hotaru- but even that I feel like could be interpreted differently.

Saturn is protective of Hotaru and her friends. Hotaru is sweet, and kind. She is there most of the time. And mistress 9 could be interpreted as a persecutor. I’ve always seen Hotaru in this light.

And for anyone that wants to go by the DSM: Hotaru has severe childhood trauma. She lost her mother in a fire/explosion that she was apart of. Her and her father were possessed by demons- her father was straight up neglectful and abusive medically. And his “partner” Kaori was abusive towards Hotaru.

Case 2: Aoi Akane (and her “fake” personality.)

This one is less implied, more of a headcanon but- Aoi has outright said she puts up a front for people around her. The Aoi people know vs. The Aoi that she is are completely different. On top of this, when Hakubo (No.6) gives her that potion she acts completely different than either side of that spectrum.

And again for DSM truthers: I’m not sure how much of this is canon to the main timeline but Aoi has a neglectful and shitty dad in general. It’s never out right stated that she’s been abused but I would think she is. On top of that, she’s extremely popular and has to live up to the standards that people put for her… which she can’t ever reach because they’ll always get higher and higher.

Case 3: Mei Shijima (and Shijima San of The Art Room)

This one has always grinded my gears tbh.

Mei and Shijima are shown to be two separate people from the start. Shijima being Mei’s own creation to cope with what is most likely cancer / terminal illness and the fact that despite her passion she is going to die soon.

But people get upset or confused when it’s posted that they are separate characters? And get even more upset about shipping them together. Like, I don’t know how to tell singlets this but inner system dating is not unusual. They also hardly look the same which seems to be most peoples problems. They don’t have the same hair color or eye color and also just all around are physically and emotionally different.

Shijima is extremely protective over Mei and became very very upset when people made rumors spinning Mei’s illness related death into Mei hurting herself over her parents.

I think they’re a beautiful representation of plurality. Mei forgives Shijima for persecuting her, because she knew Shijima was just trying to keep what Mei actually stood by while she was alive there.

Anyways I’m sorry this became a super long info dump. TL;DR let systems or any plural person have their headcanons. They are not hurting anyone. And also keep an open mind to things in media! Hotaru’s character is very special to me but I often don’t talk about her being a system to others because the sailor moon fandom is very very tricky. Especially the millennial side of it.

Maleficent x human reader (headcanons)

your relationship starts off a bit rocky. when the two of you begin your relationship she isn't as cuddly as most would be in the start. it takes her a while to adjust and get comfortable.

since what happened with Stefan she is still quite cautious, so its a very rare occasion where she fully lets her guard down to you.

your dates consist of sitting in a flowery field somewhere in the Moores or her flying you to her cave in the mountain to watch the sunset as she wraps her wings around you

you have the full support of everyone in the Moores. they're all happy that Maleficent finally found true love for herself. you pretty much become Aurora's adoptive parent as well.

though she will never admit it, maleficent can get very jealous. sometimes when you spend time together for hours, maleficent will turn him into his crow form and wave him off when he begins cawing at her.

I think that through her intimidating aura maleficent likes to cuddle. i can picture her wanting to cuddle you a lot especially in the mornings or at night. she will just lay there holding you for hours

speaking of cuddles. when the two of you cuddle it's like the world around you disappears. maleficent wraps her wings around you and pulls you close, and the only thing you two think about is each other.

In Hyrule Warriors, Zelda takes on the disguise of Sheik like her counterpart in Ocarina of Time. Not only was she inspired by the tale of one of her many predecessors, but by Impa herself. In the face of her army being deceived by their own loyalty to her, Impa is really the only one she can trust completely - as she fears Link could fall into the same trap as her other knights. Having grown up alongside Impa, Zelda believes she can use styles of combat that imitate Impa's to both conceal her identity and give Impa a reason to keep Sheik close. Ultimately, it works; she's just surprised that Impa didn't realize who Sheik was sooner, even as she questioned the legitimacy of the fake Zelda.
