Today's Workout: Cravings

Today was a beautiful day yet also gave me a taste of running in the very warm room. Not a fan but I’ll just have to deal with it. Since it was such a nice day, I decided to take the walk to fulfill my very powerful craving for a bagel with egg and sausage. Could I have made something like this at home? Yes. Was it half the cost of the tuna bagel? Also, yes. And all those steps plus my run got…

I got my first Misfit Market box! As a whole, I really like how it was packaged. I saved the silver bag and the 5 ice packs that it came with so I can use them when I go shopping locally. (Crackerjack helped me unbox, as seen in the first picture. She's a nosey cat.)

I was REALLY impressed with how the eggs and the glass jar of pasta sauce were packaged. The eggs were sort of double-boxed so that they couldn't shift around and break and the jar was wrapped in this brown paper that expanded to fill the space around the jar and protect it.

Now to the things that weren't so great. The milk and the olive oil very clearly got damaged in transit, but no harm done. I wasn't too upset about it.

These last two items, however, I was a little heated about. The potatoes were not protected from the condensation from the ice pack and got wet. These will go bad faster now. The carrot greens I would have LOVED, they make a good salad. But they got beat up in transit and were unusable.

Other than that, and the bell peppers being small for what I paid for, I liked the box overall!
