We need to make Misako haters embarrassed. I cannot stand to see any more assholes who think they can parade around this opinion like they're proud of being a dickhead. Just saw some little shit being like "I hate Misako and I assume everyone in the fandom agrees with me 🤪" and I need people like that to feel ashamed. Not through harrassment or anything like that, just through AGGRESSIVE pro-Misako sentiment. We all love Misako actually. Oh you hate Misako? Skill issue.

I love just how mucch the public attitude towards Wu and Misako has shifted, it truly is So special to me, esp as someone who had to see like a bajillion idiotic, bullshit takes about them 24/7 from like 2021-2023. I still see idiotic takes but nowhere near as often.

Yknow what one of the most interesting things about Misako & Wu is?

How they differ in views of fate and destiny

Misako was convinced she could change Lloyds fate and avoid the final battle with his father so left him at darkley’s, whilst Wu thinks destiny cannot be changed & instead thinks its better to let it run its course whilst making sure the ninja & lloyd are all prepared.

I wonder if this difference is why Misako left him at Darkleys and not with his uncle in fear of Wu training him (that and i’m pretty sure Wu was depressed after banishing his brother and not in a good place mentally & emotionally to be taking care of an infant.) Maybe leaving him at darkleys was her way of prolonging the prophecy from occuring

And btw, this isn’t an invitation to bash Wu, from the Spinjitzu brothers books we see him & Garmadon go out to find a cure for the venom on multiple quests where Wu at first believes they can avoid the venom from consuming Garmadon but begins to lose hope as the series progresses.

This tells me that Wu’s belief in destiny was actually created from his experiences. He no longer believes fate or destiny can be avoided and maybe thinks the best way to handle it is to be prepared for it. And it’s not like he was wrong, the prophecy still happened and it would’ve been awful if Lloyd wasn’t trained alongside the ninja. Garmadon seems to share this view that you cant avoid destiny in the earlier seasons.

Usagi's Stupid Ninjago Headcanons Part 1

Because of his powers, Kai doesn't feel cold as much as a normal person would. He'll go outside in the middle of winter in shorts and not even feel chilly. Zane is basically the opposite. He goes around in long sleeves and coats in the summer since he doesn't feel the heat.

Jay is subscribed to every fashion magazine in Ninjago and if someone ticks him off enough, he'll roast their entire wardrobe. He's like Gordon Ramsey if he were a fashion critic.

After she became the Master of Water, Nya started studying marine biology and oceanography. She says being a marine biologist will be her backup career in case she ever decides to retire from being a ninja.

If Lloyd never became the green ninja, he would've gone full goth in the future. He already loves horror films and the occult (at least in my headcanon), so he doesn't think it would be much of a change.

Animals love Zane. It doesn't matter if they're wild animals or domestic pets. They love him. Everyone jokes about him secretly being a Disney princess because of it.

Lou has talked every one of Cole's friends into taking at least one dancing class. Kai learned swing dancing. Nya did jazz. Jay did tap dancing. Zane did ballet. Skylor did belly dancing. Pixal took disco and Lloyd took ballroom dancing. Cole's the only one who refused to take any classes.

Whenever business is slow at the noodle shop, Skylor uses the power of Form to pull pranks on people while disguised as someone else so she won't get in trouble.

Pixal is secretly a huge N-pop stan. She uses Cyrus's credit cards to buy every new piece of merchandise for her favorite idols pretty much as soon as they come out.

After Lloyd got kicked out of Darkley's, Wu basically started homeschooling him. If you think learning math or english from him would be easier than learning spinjitsu from him, you'd be wrong.

Garmadon loves soap operas and he takes shipping the characters from them way too seriously. He has come close to killing someone over it.

Misako had trouble figuring out what she wanted to do with her life before she decided to become an archeologist, so she tried a bunch of different jobs. She's been a teacher, a chemist, a museum curator and a psychologist. She's also banned from 8 different states. Don't ask why.

Obsessed with Misako as a character. Nerdy badass archeologist who marries into destiny's favourite family (derogatory), gives birth to the literal savior of the universe and tries to save the people she loves from the clutches of the narrative. She didn't have to be a part of these prophesies, she could've lived a normal life but no, she's going to directly insert herself into the story and do her damnedest to help any way she can. Even if she messes up, even if it means watching everyone she loves get hurt over and over and over again, she puts herself on the front lines of an eternal war and refuses to back down. I love her.

Usagi’s Stupid Ninjago Headcanons Part 9: Back To Basics

The Ninjago government has put up with Wu and Garmadon for so long that they eventually decided they didn’t want to be bothered with dealing with them or their family. Let God’s kids sort out their own shit.

The ninjas try to help out with most charity events or restoration projects that happen in Ninjago City.

Wu is kind of a boomer when it comes to social media. He thinks it’s a distraction that poisons the brain.

Misako has two sisters. One wants nothing to do with her or her “freak” family and the other is a recluse living in a swamp. Their parents died years ago.

Zane likes hidden object games. They find them comforting. They would adore the Mystery Case Files games.

Ever since he learned flower language, Cole pretty much assigned the rest of the team flowers he felt represented them best. For Kai, gladious. For Jay, sunflowers. For Zane, snowdrops and white camellias. For Nya, lotuses. For Lloyd, cosmos. For Skylor, marigolds and for Pixal, purple orchids. He totally sent Harumi foxglove and yellow carnations once.

Jay once talked the others into turning the monastery into a haunted house attraction for the Day of the Departed. It wasn't that scary but the kids who came by had fun.

Kai tries so hard to paint himself as a playboy but he'll turn into a blushing, stuttering mess if he gets a kiss on the cheek.

Zombies used to be Lloyd's least favorite monster but after Possession, ghosts took their place. Werewolves are his most favorite.

Nya dressed up as Tomie for a costume party after Lloyd introduced her to Junji Ito. Jay nearly had a heart attack when he saw her.

Skylor ended up having to do some community service after Chen and his cultists were banished.

Cyrus has thought of bringing back some of Pixal's predecessors as her sisters. He's already in the process of recreating two of them but he's not sure if he'll successfully bring them back.
