Hey guys! Just checking in to say, I'm not dead. Lol. I think I might be burnt out though. So sorry if it SEEMS the blog is dead. I haven't had much inspiration for like... Anything. Not even for my other fandoms. So yeah. Taking a mental health break and kinda just reblogging stuff on my main. I posted a little Transformers art and that's about it. :/

On a side note, if anyone wants to chat, my ask box is open. I had kinda boring and lonely day today and I could use someone to talk to. I don't even care if it's Ninjago related honestly. Go wild. Lol.

Can I just say something I really appreciate about Ninjago?

I really, really appreciate that they didn’t fall into the “Kai being overprotective of Nya’s love life” trap.

Like he’s an older brother who has one of his most important traits being his protectiveness. Hell, he joins the team to rescue/protect Nya. It would’ve been so easy for the Ninjago crew to default to that trope.

But no, Kai is completely supportive of Jaya—in fact he’s one of their biggest supporters. He literally helps Jay practice asking Nya to be his yang. He’s genuinely happy for one of his closest friends and his little sister. And I just think that’s a nice subversion, and it’s great they didn’t make Kai an overbearing, overprotective big brother.

Especially after the Samurai X reveal, Kai recognizes Nya can handle herself, and I like that he never oversteps into her love life.

I honestly love to see it.

And if anyone is curious, in this version of Transformers, Elita and Optimus are co leaders of the Autobots and are the rightful rulers of Cybertron. (And they're married! :D)

I think the main reason why I love movie lloyd as much as I do (there's numerous other reasons) is that the contrast between him and show lloyd is so funny to me I gotta smile-

Show lloyd- "I'm the prophesied chosen one who's trained to defeat the overlord since I was 10. I'm overpowered and literally nothing about me is normal. "

Movie lloyd- "BRO IVE ONLY BEEN TRAINING FOR 3 MONTHS AND I GOT SCHOOL IN THE MORNING!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN I GOTTA FIGHT A SUPERVILLAIN!?!"

Show lloyd is 100% loyal to his destiny and movie lloyd is realizing he's not built for this after he gets beat up by one of garmadon's goons at 2am on a Tuesday morning. A semester of physics class and a dream is all he has.

I gotta love him for it
