#Miraculous ladybug dream

Ok, so I had a bit of a weird Miraculous dream last night that I feel I need to share.

So, Chat Noir and Ladybug were fighting a really tough akuma that looked like it might actually beat them. So Ladybug just goes "Fuck it! If the ladybug power isn't enough to protect Paris, I'll just use my own power!" and falls to her hands and knees and transforms into a fucking werewolf! She then proceeded to beat the shit out of the akuma. I then woke up folded like a pretzel with my head at the foot of my bed. So that might explain it.

But even beyond the dream I love imagining everyone's reaction to just seeing the hero of Paris turn into a werewolf and beat the shit out of a villain with her bare claws. Hawk Moth is reconsidering his entire scheme now that he realizes he's fighting a werewolf. Tom and Sabine are now 100% sure that Marinette is Ladybug just for the fact there likely aren't many teenage werewolves in Paris. Chat Noir is now very much questioning if this is a deal breaker or sweetening the deal.

ladybug totally talks in her sleep. especially during patrol naps, when sleeping feels like a mix of dreaming and reality, and so a lot of her dreams during that time involve chat noir. out of nowhere she'll say 'chat what the fuck' and he turns around like ???? what did i do??? but she won't elaborate. or, most commonly, she'll just say 'are you okay??' out of nowhere. and he's like. 'yes??' and she wakes up a little and is so embarrassed. she was having a dream about an akuma fight and was so convinced she just saw him take a hit. when really he's just chilling on the rooftop next to her

Do you guys ever think, VERY VERY early on, right after baby Adrien was born and Emilie started going down the long painful journey of "deathly motherhood disease". Do you guys think that. That Natalie like. Hated baby Adrien. Like. For a split second. She looked at the sparkling white crib hosting the most tiny golden perfect angel baby, who looked so much like Emelie, who was faded to slowly but surely syphon away her life, and for the tiniest of moments she glared at him. Because who else was she meant to resent? Emilie? Gabriel? The baby? ... probably Gabriel would be the safest bet actually. And then baby Adrien just smiled at her and held her finger and his eyes shone so much like Emilies and she knew she was doomed forever.

Nurse Desserts power is that she makes anyone within her vicinity contract an illness, which induces fatigue, sneezing, coughing, and greenish lumps/spots to appear on their body. Her sentimonster is a giant cake baby that can also turn into multiple of itself, but get smaller the more there are.

a fanart i've been wanting to finish for a literal month.

she is complete. it really has been a full month. I started this on the night of November 30th and finished it like 10 minutes ago on December 30th.

I'm not gonna lie, this is the first reason I wanted to open a blog in the first place.

(if you want to read my rambles and see a closeup of the drawing, i'll put everything under the cut!)

A few months ago, a friend introduced me to the absolute jewel that is Bigfatbreak's Miraculous Ladybug AU, and I was hooked from the very beginning. I mean, you have all the stakes, all the drama, all the edginess that the original show could only dream of having, and the art is so pretty!!! The color palettes used for each chapter are always so pleasing to the eye, and the "halos" are a beautiful addition to the characters and the visuals when important moments happen.

I knew that I would make some study doodles for myself at some point, but as soon as that chapter dropped and we got to see Marinette as the snake Miraculous holder... I dropped everything and RAN to my tablet. Her design is STUNNING and I couldn't express my admiration in any other way, I HAD to draw her.

For some reason, I wanted to go for something big with needles and a tarot card as an inspiration. So I spent maybe the next three days working on it, but uuuuh that wasn't it. I also wanted to include snakes and some tulle fabric for the background, without realising how hard these two elements were to draw, especially the fabric (it's torture. I'm very open to tips or resources if you've got something). Then I felt like I couldn't get the tarot format to work. Then the rendering sucked. And I still couldn't make the background work. I gave up for a month. <3

And I suppose that it's in those moments of creative emptiness and lack of motivation, that everything suddenly clicks as if it was obvious from the get go.

Let's just go for a simple, eye-catching background with very soft rendering and a mysterious glow emanating from twelve sewing needles turning counter-clockwise. I know this piece is still full of potential, but I wanted to finish it before 2024 and before my mind had a chance to make me give up.

I find my mind to be incredibly insulting when it happens. But uh, considering that I haven't done anything solid in a month, I still take it as a small victory. Small victory is classy snake speedrunner seamstress. You go, Marinette.

i love the idea of chat noir being an avid reader just because this boy is always bouncing off the walls and i just think seeing him be. still. and quiet for a few hours. would be funny.

it would freak the fuck out of ladybug tho. i feel like chat noir being quiet would make the balance of their dynamic feel weird and so she would then be the one to let all her chaotic energy out
