Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on December 10 for $34.99, developer Digital Eclipse announced. PlayStation Store and Steam pre-orders are available now at a 15 percent-off discount price, with Microsoft Store and Nintendo eShop pre-orders coming soon.

Another surprise announcement this week is Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita's Rewind by Digital Eclipse. This "all-new adventure" is coming in "late 2024", but no console platforms have been confirmed just yet.

This title will remix "lore with scenarios and gameplay" that's both familiar and new to fans of this series. Apart from plenty of multiplayer beat 'em up action, you'll also blast, fight, and drive through a "constantly shifting mix of classic game genres".

Here's the back story behind this upcoming release:

Again, there's no mention of a console release (yet), but if we hear any updates on the Nintendo front, we'll be sure to let you know.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind adds Green Ranger - Gematsu

The Green Ranger will be an unlockable playable character in retro-inspired brawler Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, developer Digital Eclipse announced.

The Green Ranger Tommy’s story has been incorporated into the game’s narrative, allowing players to select the Green Ranger on future playthroughs once they have cleared the campaign.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam in 2024. PlayStation Store wishlisting is available as of today, with Microsoft Store wishlisting coming soon.
