The Justice League hasn't heard from John in four months. It was Zatanna who got concerned first when his phone was disconnected.

Batman found out that he died saving an important little girl named ellie from a group of drug trafficker using her as a battery. How paled zatanna was said about the girl and John's deceased body disappeared in a green portal afterward, telling him what level of apocalypse could have accurate if she had died.

Zatanna Investigating the house of mysteries was the next plan of action, considering only Zatanna and Deadman knew that house was claimed by John with an amount of cursed items, books, and every other apocalypse related items.

Zatanna was only going to place seals upon and inside the house, so nobody would attempt to enter ever, except the house wouldn't let her open the front door.

Her blood felt ice cold as she kept trying to pull the door open, but no budge.

That was where she brought the Justice league in, thinking only someone sinister and patience enough placed a claim on the house after John died because if they did.

This was a code blood moon to them. This could be the universe ending on the other side if whoever had control in the house has every cursed item, weapons, and apocalypse making ritual books imaginable that John had collected over the years.

Before J'onn could slip intangible through the house, the door opened to reveal.... Ellie?

The girl who disappeared, wearing a red beanie and a bright smile.

"Oh good, John said you all would probably come here like headless chickens. Come in!" Ellie said, leaving the door open as she floated back inside.

The Justice League and zatanna look dumbfounded before J'onn, the brave soul went in first, saying that he felt no threat.

The house of mysteries seems to have a new type of decoration done, though still very creepy. Safety baby locks, anti plug in, and a bunch of ghost related toddler toys lay around.

A very massive in height man wearing a gravity defying cloak full of stars, hair whiter then snow with constellations braids with the stars themselves sat in the couch that was obviously too much for his massive form.

A squealing little toddler wearing a soft orange jumper with purple hair giggling loudly every time he smack his tiny hands hard onto a board with a bunch of green blob in 9 holes popping out randomly like some ghost theme whack a mole.

Zatanna glanced, looking down at the little boy and then back at the familiar massive tower entity smiling softly, his stardust freckles luminous glowing green with the frozen frost crown with nebula emblems inside floating innocently on his head as her eyes widen a bit.

"Zatanna, who is this guy?" Superman said, concerned in the back. The Justice League didn't know where to go defensive mode or stand down as there was a child present.

She bowed on her knees immediately on the ground, her eyes teary up with a sense of relief.

"I greet thy infinite Realm, Danny Phan-"

"Zatanna, I told you four times in a role. It's not worth repeating my whole titles. You can call me Danny, and no, i didn't win John's soul... I merely adopted him." Danny waves his hands lightly, miniature dwarf star float around lightly before reabsorbed back in his palm.

"It took me 5 years of planning with clockwork and ellie after John helped my realms from the GIW and their plan to make my people into non-living, and living batteries, even though the Justice League had help along with disbanding them. He grew onto me and my family, and seeing what would've become his cheese grated soul after he died was a big no-no in my book." Danny said softly, Ellie popping behind from his mass of white hair.

"I helped, even though now I'm a bit younger than I am now after that whole pretend to get captured by amateur traffickers, but I'd owed constantine for that prank idea for Dan."

The Justice League awkwardly sat on the opposite couch that suddenly appeared, zatanna sitting on the floor a few feet away from John, still playing on a ghost themed whack a mole board.

"Why is John acting like this?" Zatanna asked softly, pulling a handkerchief from her pocket to wipe her moisten eyes.

"Well, with the combination added years of his much overdue life, by cheating, swindling and dealing with the Supernatural, Gods, faes, and demons alongside the amount of pushed down trauma and PTSD John accumulated in his barely to be call a soul piece after dying in a perfect way for ectoplasm to fixed all of that to made him into a halfa." Danny continues to explain softly.

"His halfa core couldn't handle the weight of it all his soul pieces put together again, especially with his main soul piece being the size of broken miniature ball even after the others entities figured out I claimed and relinquished their contracts because they know I outrank them all, but John's core couldn't handle being put together all at once like that, especially how long he was with barely much of his soul left in the end once he died."

"In a simple way, all His memories, skills and everything in each soul pieces that was taken in between like a giant block of cheese being forced into a tiny mash sieve that was his current mind and body state right now, what Frostbite explain to me." Danny explained simpler with conjuring a solid glob of ectoplasm in his left hand, being pushed in a mold of mini sieve, barely any being pushed out except a couple of glowing liquid dripping.

"John is still the same John, only at where he was his safest mind state before all those deals, trauma, and everything that resulted into what he was, then that slowly returns with time. Only he is free now." Danny finished softly smiling, watching John ripe out a oooing blob ghost from the board with a gleeful squeal, smacking it on the board with delight, his tiny legs kicking in excitement.

oh and also here are the other parts of my au

after arin left to join ras and World Ending stuff started happening, sora also left the ninja to look for him on her own (then she found out he killed lloyd, yikes)

though the other ninja did try to find arin (mostly lloyd) they were primarily trying to stop the wolf warriors.

(also i came up with most of this before s2p2 came out so ignore how inconsient it is with the show 💔💔 first thing is that I knew that kai wouldn't be gone forever, but had no idea how to bring him back, so he's just kinda... Here for No Reason. let's just say there was a long journey to get him back that i don't wanna make up right now )

SO BASICALLY, once ras started training arin and realized he could be helpful to take over the source dragons, he had kinda started neglecting the other wolf warriors + jordana. and when he did help train them, he was... more unhinged than usual.

jay, escaping the administration, came across this and was like "oh hey, this ras guy seems coo--ohhh no... oh no he doesn't..." (after getting shattered ofc)

jay, being his typical Jay Self, convinced a lot of the other wolf warriors to abandon ras. some of them started following jay instead (jay pls stop starting cults) but jay rejected the offer and spent his time doing various shenanigans, but does still have a handful of their contacts incase he needs any backup!

but that still means that there are now a LOT of free roaming shattered people for the ninja to deal with. (nokt also escaped thanks to jay's tinkering with his shocker, which totally isn't bad at all)

Cinder started leading a good handful, but without wolf masks, a gong, or a strong goal, it mostly became a "how many problems can we cause" group, which the ninja spend a lot of energy on trying to stop.

but then... lloyd died. and let me tell you, the ninja felt it when lloyd died. the main 4's elements are literally tied to his, and they knew that something terrible happened when that energy suddenly became ungrounded. nya also felt it, just because that's her little brother, and she knows what his energy feels like. she knew smth was wrong when it suddenly was missing.

kai and nya, filled with rage, wanted to see what happened, and left wyldfyre with zane. cole went off alone because once arin got lloyds energy and lloyd started impacting the environment, coles powers got REALL funky. (not to mention the whole 'world ending' stuff. coles powers did Not Like That.)

kai and nya eventually stumbled across Z (though they didn't figure out it was him for a while) and witnessed Life protecting him. they instantly started freaking out because holy shit, did this guy trap lloyds spirit and is using him for immortality??? but after (reasonably) attacking, life started interjecting and kept trying to get them to not hurt each other.

"is lloyd.. trying to get us to stop fighting????

(long sigh) ...yeah that sounds like smth he'd do"

despite admiring how protective lloyd was, kai and nya were still VERY angry, and tried to interrogate Z. ("what happened to lloyd" "what did you do to him? " ect) and it made Z break down sobbing "I didn't mean to hurt him I didn't wanna kill him" which made them realize it was arin. yikes.

Z instantly ran away after they tried to comfort him, and kai and nya were at a bit of a loss for a while. not knowing that arin was shattered, they trusted that he was a good enough kid and Probably wouldn't be up to anything evil. i mean, what's the worst that he could do??? it was... probably just a freak accident that got lloyd killed. right?

meanwhile, zane and wyldfyre actually bonded a lot!!! It was rocky at first, but they really started bonding over doing forms together late at night to focus themselves. zane helped to teach her a more balanced way to use her powers (which she DESPISED at first), but it helped her a lot in the long run. i could ramble abt them, but its not as exciting. tldr they're silly and i wanna draw them at some point 💔

anyway. zane was a mess after lloyd died so he basically called an emergency ninja meeting to discuss What To Do. kai and nya shared what they knew about arin, and then they instantly got interrupted by the forbidden five trying to kill them, as they all were freed thanks to nokt. i didn't know of their powers at the time, but i knew they'd be deadly. zane was able to freeze them so that they got a headstart on escaping, but it. Wasn't Great.

the rest of the ninja spent their time hiding. sort of like in hunted, they were mourning lloyd, going from place to place, trying to save as many civilians as possible from the F5. the ninja all knew rising dragon so they had multiple fights with the F5, but weren't able to fully defeat them. jordana was kept as prisoner for a little bit by rox, but the ninja freed her, so yay!!! not traumatizing for her at all!!

meanwhile, jay and Z actually teamed up briefly for their hate over ras and the F5, so Z used his whole immortality thing to his advantage by walking straight up to the F5 and making fun of them as a distraction and getting them riled up so jay could shock them from behind.(think the song 'get jinxed' from arcane) but uhh the F5 were midfight with the ninja during this...so..

"oh hey, is that arin? you said he looked different, i guess that makes sense. it's really lucky he swooped in there, an--HOLY SHIT JAY?"

(they never see jay again)

jay and Z did unfortunately part ways after jay was like "hey you're cool, but honestly, a bit too insane for me to be around. here's my number in case you need anything built tho" which was still nice of him.

Z had also told jay about jay being a ninja, but had also said that the ninjas are a Tiny Bit Lame and they Occasionally Try To Kill Him so jay decided that he'd keep it in mind, but wanted to do his own thing for awhile. jay was planning on talking to the ninjas again, but never got the chance because. the world was kinda destroyed...

anyway, i think that's about it! soon after the F5 were released, ras sped up his efforts to take over the source dragons, which, after being rudely interrupted by Z, destroyed the world, leaving Z as the sole survivor sora escaped just moments before with the reversal blade, and then... yeah. then the post time travel stuff happens that i really need to start talking about.

anyway, thank you so much for the ask!!! i hope this was a satisfactory ramble :) feel free to ask any other questions if you have them!!! sorry for this being so long and i hope some of this is understandable :3

currently thinking about when you let kim know you found out about the pale while he was gone, and that if you tell him its terrifying hes like "so trying to spare you from it was a good idea", or that if you tell him its unreal he says how a lot of things are unreal, or that if you ask him where you are he says they are in elysium, but that all of them involve him comparing the pale to water, death, and "the fact we are all stuck behind our eyes, between our ears, talking for all eternity, like every other human being". and then saying heavy topics are not his forte and acting as if he never said that. you cant just say "heavy topics are not my forte" after dropping that. both the caring and trying to protect harry, and that water, death, and having a mind is terrifying/unreal/just how the world is...

LYLA helped Miles escape Nueva York

Hear me out

- as soon as the Go Home Machine booted up she would have theoretically know about it         -  I’m not sure exactly how integrated she is in the Spider Society system in ATSV but my personal opinion is that she basically runs the place.                 + She has a connection to all of the gizmos in order to send pings and allow them all to communicate

               + constantly scanning for anomalies 

               + able to keep track of and record information across dimensions 

               + Miguel would want her to be able to have access to basically everything because he has severe FOMO and wants to be in-the-know everything in order to keep a handle on it — and LYLA is the only one he trusts to do it. 

- with all that, Miles didn’t Sabotage anything when he returned to the base, he simply booted up the systems, which would immediately alert LYLA 

- My Guess is, that since she has such a close relationship with Miguel, she has seen the downward spiral he has been on, and knows that Miles fighting back and not following Miguel’s orders was the final push for him to snap (I have other thoughts about this in regards to both LYLA and Peter B. that I will get into later. 

- Because she knows that Miguel has tipped over that edge, and what she is capable of, once she receives the notification that the GHM Is active (after “seeing” the whole chase and, again — theoretically, hearing the conversation between Miguel, Miles, Peter, and Gwen, she makes the decision to help Miles.)            + she does this by letting the program run, letting Miles boot the systems and filling in what he missed in the startup that he didn’t know about, allowing him access to the hand-scan and admin protocols.

- when Margot trying to figure out what was going on, LYLA kept throwing screens in front of her, and distracting her

               + if she is as integrated as I believe she is, she wouldn’t have had to ask “what’s happening” — it would have been simple: ALERT: unknown admin access — no designation (which should have been denied (she’s a super computer, she could make an educated guess that after they all lost track of Miles that the attempted access was him)), SCAN: earth-42 (which, if she is able to access a database of dimensions, like when she was tracking spot, she knows is one with no registered spider-person, which again, educated guess could tell her that Miles (who she knows is from Earth-1610 and who was bit by a spider not from his home dimension)) was the one booting it up.

- with all of that: Miguel knows that Miles’s DNA scan would come up with something other than Earth-1610 (he’s a geneticist in the comics so I’m translating that into him in ATSV, and knows that the scan would be funky with it). While he may not know Exactly what universe Miles’s dna would show, he counts on LYLA to send him wherever the GHM sent Miles when Miguel opens his own portal, and because he is so in-the-moment and pissed, doesn’t double check, ending up in E-1610 where LYLA knows Miles Is Not Currently Located.

Anyway I’m sure I’ve missed some things but these are just some of my Many Thoughts on the subject
