Take me back to the night we met
(Vaguely inspired by that lyric from The Night We Met by Lord Huron)
So, @pinkcadaver and I were talking last night or the night before about how Estinien's little brother would tag along on the Ferndale Trio's little adventures and decided to not only come up with my idea of what he looked like, but also this screenshot. In my eyes, Estinien resembled his father a lot more, while his brother looked like their mom.
As for the context? Estinien's denying Hamignant's accusation of having a crush on Yuhki 😂
(Edited because someone in the replies told me the name of his brother and I just 😭 I'm even more emo ALSO I REALIZE NOW I GAVE HIM THE WRONG HAIR COLOR I DIDNT KNOW-)
but now I'm making myself cry because I fucking love those idiots so much

Rancher Yandere x Reader (Gn)

Warnings: Abuse, kidnapping, average yandere behavior
“You’re gorgeous,” Reeves drawled, his big hazel eyes gazing up at you. If anyone had happened to catch a glimpse of the two of you, they’d likely have smiled at the sight. Him kneeling before you, chin resting on your thighs, while your fingers wandered through his messy chestnut curls. But they probably wouldn’t have noticed the metal chains around your ankles or the barred windows. They sure wouldn’t have seen the tears threatening to spill from your eyes or the ugly bruise blossoming on your cheek. But Reeves noticed. How could he not? He was the one who’d snatched you off that dusty Southern Road. The one who’d kept you here for weeks, caged like a lamb for slaughter.
“Sweetheart?” Reeves murmured, purring like a kitten. “You ain’t smilin’.”
You swallowed hard, brows knitting together as you forced your lips into a pitiful excuse for a smile. He liked it when you were sweet. Reeves watched your face, his gaze locking onto your dry lips. Slowly, like he was approaching a skittish critter, he brought his fingers to them. He slipped a finger inside your mouth, making your bottom lip droop. He tasted like dirt and copper. “You gonna smile for me, Sweetheart?” His frown deepened, eyes turning suddenly cold. “Or am I gonna have to teach you again?”
You shivered and shook your head quickly. “I’m sorry.”
Reeves sighed, his expression softening just enough to mask the darkness lurking behind it. “That’s better,” he said, drawing his finger back and wiping it on his jeanst. “Now, I’ve got to feed the cows, but you stay put, alright? Don’t go wanderin’ off.”
You nodded, your heart racing as he stood and strode away, his boots thudding heavily on the wooden floor. The moment his back turned, the weight of your despair settled in, heavy and suffocating. The air felt thick around you. You had been planning this escape for weeks, each day loosening the bars on the window, each moment spent quietly chipping away at the chains that bound you. You had to do it tonight.
After counting to one hundred, you approached the window. The creaking sound echoed like a gunshot in the stillness, amplifying your fear, your pulse quickening in response. With trembling hands, you grasped the edge of the window, forcing it open wider. The cool night air washed over your skin, a stark contrast to the stale, confined atmosphere of the farmhouse. It felt like freedom itself, invigorating and electric. You took a deep breath, filling your lungs with the scent of damp earth and wildflowers.
You slipped through the gap, heart pounding as you landed softly in the grass. You ran through the fields, the cool blades brushing against your legs. The moon hung low in the sky, illuminating your path, guiding you toward the promise of escape. The rhythm of your feet against the ground matched the frantic beat of your heart, a melody of desperation and hope intertwining. When you reached the fence marking the edge of his ranch, a flare of hope ignited within you. You could almost taste freedom, a sweet, tantalizing possibility. You were almost there. Your heart soared, urging you to leap over the barrier that separated you from the world outside. But just as you prepared to launch yourself over the top of the fence, you felt arms wrap around you, a vice grip that slammed you to the ground. The air rushed from your lungs, and the world blurred for a moment before sharpening into the harsh reality of your situation.
“Shit!” you gasped, panic coursing through you as you struggled against his hold. His eyes blazed with fury.
“Thought you could just run away, huh?” he growled, his voice low and menacing, dragging you back towards the farmhouse by your hair. You screamed, the sound echoing in the stillness, but the emptiness of the night swallowed your cries, leaving you feeling even more isolated.
He secured your chains even tighter, the metal biting into your skin like a cruel reminder of your captivity. “No more walks, no more fun,” he spat, his voice laced with rage. “You need to learn your place.” Each word felt like a blow, striking at your heart and shattering any remnants of hope you clung to.
He turned away, and the silence that followed felt suffocating, a heavy blanket wrapping around you. As despair washed over you, the tears you’d held back finally spilled over, hot and unrelenting. You sank to the floor, sobs wracking your body.
Suddenly, Reeves was there, his presence looming like a storm cloud, dark and oppressive. He knelt beside you, those big hazel eyes softening momentarily. He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close against his chest, his heartbeat steady and strong.
“Shh, it’s alright,” he murmured, his voice soothing in an unsettling way, the kind of comfort that felt like it could just as easily turn to violence. “I’m here, Sweetheart. You just got a little too wild, that’s all.”
You felt your body tense, the dichotomy of his embrace and the chains that bound you causing your heart to shatter further. How could he be so tender and yet so cruel? The sobs turned into quiet whimpers as you melted into him, the warmth of his body conflicting with the cold reality. You wanted to recoil, to push him away, but every fiber of your being felt trapped in this paradox.
He stroked your hair gently, the gesture both tender and invasive, whispering reassurances that felt like lies. “We’re gonna be just fine, you and me. I won’t let you go again. I promise.” The words dripped with a false sweetness that made your skin crawl.
But as you clung to him, your heart heavy with the truth, you realized that in his twisted version of love, you were never meant to be free. You were his. Forever.

Artists who blatantly copy Lana Del Rey with no originality.
1 - Remy Bond.

Remy blatantly copying Lizzy Grant.
Remy coping Lana in concert too.
Lanaboards destroyed her in their thread.
Some tea on Remy and her upbringing from a follower who reblogged my post!
2 -Saint Avangeline.

Some songs she's done covering Lana: Every Man Gets His Wish, Brooklyn Baby, Young and Beautiful, High By The Beach and Shades of Cool. She's done her own "original" songs but they also sound like Lana. Songs like Lilith is a complete copy of Lana's song Ultraviolence. Her album Gardener of Eden sounds like anything from Ultraviolence or Honeymoon. Saint Evangeline nowadays is doing heavy metal music. She's erased anything Lana related off her Instagram and Youtube playlists, but some of her Lana covers have remained on Youtube.
Places like Reddit have brought up Saint Evangeline's blatantly coping Lana. They brought it up Twice.
3 - Nessa Barrett

American Jesus. Heartbreak in the Hamptons. God's Favorite.
Lana brought her up on stage once, angering Lana's fanbase. At least Lana is aware of her. So did Reddit. Twice.
4 - Ocean Leclaire.
This artist has morphed into Lana over time. She started as a folky Florence Welch but now is doing more 'Lana' in sound and look. An obvious Lana fan too.

Notable Mentions:
Camilla Cabello.
An entire monolugue music video in the style of Lana Del Rey. When Lana saw the video her reaction was "what the hell."
youtube

Taylor Swift.
youtube
Taylor not only copied the monologue style like Lana, but she hired Lana's ex-boyfriend Reeve Carney to play her boyfriend.
youtube
Taylor also had the same chorus vocal melodies as Lana's song "Without You" for her song "Wildest Dreams." The song and music video was very reminiscent to Lana's visuals. Parts of another Taylor video was similar to Lana's music video Summertime Sadness, especially the silhouette scenes. There's was also the brunette wig and glamour look.
Holly Macve.
Lana is actually a fan of Holly's. Lana and Holly sang together for Holly's song Suburban House. Holly is not a exact copy and paste of Lana Del Rey as the other girlies I mentioned, but she's obviously inspired by Lana.

Ethel Cain.
All you need to do is listen to Crush or American Teenager to hear Lana Del Rey's influence. The music videos were shot in a 90's amateurish way like Lana use to create her videos. The tone of the songs and imagery is reminiscent to Born To Die and Ultraviolence.

Fans were able to connect the dots and see that Ethel was greatly inspired by Lana. The press caught on too. Ethel didn't like that and began to edit her Wikipedia page as 'papermassacred' by removing any mention of Lana Del Rey in her Wikipedia page. Ethel went even further saying this about Lana during an interview:

Lana fans were pissed off when Ethel said this and I'm sure it got to Lana too. It's rumored that Lana wrote a diss track called 'All About Ethel' that hasn't been released yet.
Billie Eilish
Billie is only mentioned here for her immense admiration, influence and respect for Lana Del Rey. She is inspired by Lana but she is her own person. She's not putting bows in her hair, wearing a bouffant, dressing like Lana or directly copying Lana's songs or music videos. Lana invited Billie to her Coachella stage to sing Ocean Eyes and Video Games.
Kali Uchis
Kali's new album Sincerely sounds like it was inspired by Born To Die and Honeymoon. She sings a part of her song "Silk Lingerie" like Lana's song Million Dollar Man. This melody is a blatant rip off of Lana's vocal melody.

“ YOUR HOUSEKEEPER IS SICK, so i’m filling in, ” holden replies, the lie easily rolling off his tongue. it’s not a very good one, and is likely to fall apart under closer scrutiny. after all, he doesn’t know her housekeeper’s name. nor does it really make sense him to be there so late at night. but it’s a better excuse than the truth. he can’t exactly say that he’s there to rob her blind. even in her inebriated state, she’s likely to freak out and call the cops. so, a lie it is. he doesn’t give her a chance to further examine his deception. instead, he steps forward, his hand replacing hers. he warps it around her throat, lightly squeezing so he’s able to cut off most of her air supply. “ you like not being able to breathe while you cum ? ” he asks, arching one of his eyebrows. “ well then. keep going. i’m not going to stop you. ” he wants to see her fall apart around her own fingers while he holds on, choking the beautiful blonde and limiting her air supply.
melody is fully expecting to be the only one there, though its her own fault for not checking her home's security feed. maybe then she'd have a heads up about her little intruder. instead she's there, drunk, spread out, and oh so close to a much needed orgasm when the man finally makes himself known. melody lets out a surprised squeak, her hand moving from her throat to clamp over her mouth as she scrambles off of the sofa. "who the fuck are you?" she questions, assuming he's one of her stalkers that's managed to successfully break in. the shock of someone unfamiliar in her home is just sobering enough for her to be concerned, though it's clear she's not as concerned as she should be. the alcohol still clearly dulling her senses and judgement, that much is obvious from the way she's still laying on the sofa, staring up at the man. though, at the very least her fingers have stilled between her legs, still, she's frustrated and not happy at being interrupted.

any thoughts about hadestown? i'd be interested as to how you feel about it
hi hi thanks for your question!
The issue is I have too many thoughts about Hadestown lmfao it’s so hard to summarise without essentially writing a novella, but I’ll be as brief as possible!
A year after it came out, I was introduced to the 2017 version on Spotify (+ Anaïs Mitchell’s demos) and I instantly fell in love. Tbh, to this day, that is still my all time favourite rendition.
As someone who’s been hyperfixated on both Greek Mythology and musical theatre since I was 6 y/o, discovering Hadestown was like a dream come true. I really enjoyed Mitchell’s take on the story, and thought she did a fantastic job expanding on the motives and overall development of every single character.
In the original myths of Hades/Persephone + Orpheus/Eurydice, it feels like things just “happen” to both Persephone and Eurydice, so I loved that they’re each given stronger personalities and a sense of agency, even if they’re trapped in their circumstances. Persephone is just how I’d imagined her — a weathered, witty, and powerful delight that provides warmth to everyone she meets, but hides a deep discontent and grief within her.
Regarding Eurydice, her worldliness contrasts beautifully with Orpheus’ misguided hope and naïvet, and I thought it was so clever to use themes of poverty and famine as a means drive her towards the temptation of Mitchell’s industrialised version of Hades(town) — which I’m also obsessed with.
Tbh until listening, I’d completely forgotten that Hades is the god of wealth, so to see these themes built upon and then integrated into political commentary was incredible. The idea of a man in power scaring people into submission with threats of poverty if “the wall” isn’t built especially resonated with folks at the time of its release, and unfortunately still applies today. But we eventually learn that he wasn’t always this way, and that wealth + power corrupts people over time, so much so that he forgot “the melody,” aka the central motif.
and HOLLYY SHIT am I a sucker for motifs. if a musical doesn’t have motifs, I don’t wanna hear it.
I especially love the ones throughout Hadestown, though, whether it’s the “La la las,” or the “Doubt comes in” melody, there are motifs everywhere in this musical. All of them work so well to make a cohesive story that, after my first listen, I felt like I’d already seen it live.
And then I did see it live !
I was blessed enough to attend its London premier run at the National Theatre twice in 2018 and got to meet Reeve Carney, Eva Noblezada, and Patrick Page at the stage door — all of whom were as sweet as they are talented! I saw it again in 2024 with a different cast, but I’d definitely say I’m biased towards the original. Nonetheless, it’s fantastic on stage and I think I cried almost the entire time lmfao
I could keep going on and on because I have a million things to say, but I’ll stop myself here. Overall, I personally think it’s the best musical that’s made it to the stage in this last decade. It’s provided me with so much inspiration and encouragement to keep writing the stories I want to write, even if they’re old or have been told a million times before.
#answering stuff#!!!!#thanks for sending my first ask!#i didn’t even get to talk about how much i love the folk style and composition AGH its truly so great for so many reasons#hadestown

OK finally vaguely clearing up my frantically typed notes during the intervals to the 2 performances of Hadestown Australia I saw like a month ago BUT. Here:
Saw the 15/4 and 16/4 shows. Both were excellent obviously, however there was a problem with Orpheus' guitar in Epic II - the pianist played the notes instead. Probably wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't memorised the Broadway Cast Recording. The show on the 15th was so good that as soon as they finished their bows, Orpheus turned to Eurydice and mimed doing a slam dunk.
Staging was different on account of (presumably) the limited run (that we always fall victim to :( ) and theatre limitations - I don't think they could modify the stage floor to fit the rising platform, so instead there was a freight carriage under Hades balcony that opened and closed menacingly. When Orpheus turned, Eurydice was still inside and it slammed shut on her.
Christine Anu as Hermes felt like a loving family member. She was so dynamic and her broad accent was wonderful. I felt like in her performance there was this undercurrent of dread and resignation the whole time that she was trying to disguise which I really liked. She was exuberant, but it came across to me as though it was to disguise what she knew was coming. (In Living it Up she said some new cute thing after they drank the liquor, first performance was "Holy Zeus, that's really spicy-" and second performance was "Holy Moley.... *coughing noises*")
The pipes on Hades and Persephone were INSANE. I literally can't even describe how good they were. Sobbing when Hades started to sing tearfully to her, and the tearful gasp that ran through the audience when he grew the carnation. His Kiss the Riot, when at the end he stopped for a really long time, staring at the carnation, before he reluctantly finished "... doubt comes is."
(And a REALLY interesting acting choice in Wait For Me Reprise. I know Patrick Page's Hades does not intentionally shake hands with Reeve Carney's Orpheus, and Orpheus mistakenly thinks Hades is reaching out a hand to shake when he is just reaching for Persephone. Adrian Tamburini's Hades was the one who took Orpheus' hand when they reached for Eurydice. My brain is still chewing on it)
Persephone (Elenoa Rokobaro) was NUTS. Her voice was incredibly strong, and her dancing fucking legendary. Her drunk dancing in Way Down Hadestown was done while she was BENT BACKWARDS AT ALMOST A 90 DEGREE ANGLE, it was absolutely INSANE.
Orpheus (ok most of my notes are on Noah Mullins' performance as Orpheus because they were SO GOOD. JUST SOOOOOOO GOOD.) (Noah Mullins is nonbinary so I'll use they/them when referring to Orpheus throughout) was absolutely amazing. They really sang like a bird, impossibly beautiful. Couldn't stop myself crying a bit when they sang the "That's what I'm working on/A song to fix what's wrong..." (I have no idea why this bit gets to me so much, probably because I know this is a Greek tragedy)
They also clearly decided that Orpheus was autistic and ran with it the whole show, embedding stimming and the like in their performance which was so nice. When they sang "You name is like a melody..." they swung back on their heels, eyes closed, almost falling, huge grin like they could feel her name with their whole body, it kind of made me insane. Orpheus was so giggly and smiley the whole time (they were very expressive the whole way through. In Act 2 they cried a fair amount- when Hades demanded that Orpheus sing, their face just crumpled into tears until Eurydice and Hermes reassured them). So it made it extra devastating when they just start shrivelling into themselves in act 2.
In Road to Hell when Persephone was introduced, she came over and caressed Orpheus' face and they were just beaming like a small child the whole time. Whenever people danced or sang they looked so overjoyed. (Also: in Papers they reach out to Persephone in desperation and she tries to catch their hands to drag them out of the fray, before the workers drag Orpheus out of her reach. That REALLY got me.)
Abigail Adriano's entrance as Eurydice was really funny. She walked down the stairs, made eye contact with Iosefa Laga'aia (Hermes Understudy), looked disgusted, and pulled the bird out of her bag. Her face when Hades stared at her in Way Down was hysterical (turning to look at audience with such a deer in the headlights 'what the fuck is going on' kinda look). The emotion she put in... she cried a bit during Flowers and I cried too. Her smile in the happy parts was luminous.
When Orpheus and Eurydice were in their honeymoon period, they were sooooo touchy. I think it's in the short professional video recorded on youtube, but they lie down the stage together to watch Way Down like they were honeymooning on a beach. There was also a bit where Eurydice pushes Orpheus down into a seat so she can sit on theirlap, which was very cute. Really enjoyed Orpheus' awkward hop in front of Eurydice when Hades stared her down in Way Down (it got a lot of laughs).
Also idk if it was intentional but it's certainly how I interpreted it: this Orpheus realised that they were going to fail as soon as the condition was given. The dread and grief on their face ... they knew THEY KNEW. Hermes asked "Do you trust yourselves?", and they hesitated before answering a moment behind Eurydice. In Wait For Me Reprise they were in tears for most of it, until they steeled themselves (still looking full of dread). They stayed hunched over and sobbing for most of Road to Hell Reprise, and when they exited it was with a hand over their face, still sobbing. Thanks for that Noah I was already distraught.
(Something something original NYTW version "it's a love song about someone who tried")
#look i have more to talk about but im tired and i just need to put my thoughts down somewhere more permanent than the notes app#hadestown australia#hadestown#adrian tamburini#elenoa rokobaro#noah mullins#abigail adriano

Today’s translation #963
Febri vol. 40, Tominaga Keisuke's interview
Part 6.
-- The opening song 'History Maker' was a joint creation of Dean Fujioka, Umebayashi-san, Matsushiba-san. What was important in production of this song?
Tominaga: The melody written by Umebayashi-kun, Matsushiba-kun's orchestration, Dean's lyrics and sound direction - all of these elements are quite universal, but at the same time, you can hear how stylish they are. In addition, because we used waltz motifs written in derivative of 3/4 time (6/8 time), as a pop music, it sounds quite fresh. I think what brought this song to the 'NEXT LEVEL' were Dean's fresh and powerful vocals, and solid arrangement with world-level quality created by Dean's partner, Dj Sumo. At the end of the production, we visited Dj Sumo's studio in Jakarta, and I could take part in the mixing process. That's how we reached the finish line in production of this song.
-- In case of the ending song, 'You Only Live Once', you yourself are in the credits as 'Arrangement'. What is the best part of this song, according to you?
Tominaga: I very like the arrangement that is very curvy, positive and feels like a good song for a car drive. With the Director, we decided that this song should have both English and Japanese lyrics in equal proportions, and I then asked Nishidera Gota (NONA REEVES) to write the lyrics. I really wanted to make the key lyrics to be something strong and universal. I was looking at lyrics of a certain rejected song without thinking much, and from there I pulled out lyrics that after re-arrangement became the 'Shining, you taught me that I was born to shine/Kagayaku tame ni umaretekita to kagayakinagara kimi ga oshiete kureta' lyrics. I think that the punch line of the opening song 'born to make history' can be translated, not literally, to 'be born to shine'. I was really excited to discover this synchronicity. Of course, at that point in time, Nishidera-san hadn't yet heard 'History Maker'.

Tuesday, 12-03-24, 8am Pacific
'Mornin', everyone. Mr. Baggins here with our Morning Coffee Music, selections to get us in gear and in good cheer. Let's start this morning off with our daily three Preludes and Fugues played by Harpsichordist Malcolm Hamilton. Today we hear Preludes and Fugues Nos. 10, 11, and 12 from Book 2 of WTC.
youtube
youtube
youtube
Next, we hear another of the performances that Guiomar Novaes recorded in 1956, and was issued as side 2 of A Music Appreciation disc issued by The Book of the Month Club in 1957. This time she is playing Beethoven's Sonata No. 26 Op. 81a, in E flat major "Les Adieux". This is as definitive a performance of this piece as has ever been recorded. The poise, the grace and control in this are eye-opening, and yet it is as warm-hearted as anyone could make Beethoven be!
youtube
Next is a treat: a performance from March 21, earlier this year, by the UT Wind Symphony of Malcolm Arnold's "Four Scottish Dances", arranged for only winds by Paynter.
youtube
Next we hear the Philadelphia Orchestra, with Eugene Ormandy at the helm, in a performance of the piece Sergei Rachmaninoff dedicated to them, his Symphonic Dances, Op. 45, and the "Paganiniana" Op. 65, of Alfredo Casella. Another historic reference recording that has withstood the test of time!
We turn to the music of Schubert next, a very early recording featuring Sergei Rachmaninoff at the piano and Fritz Kreisler on violin, playing Schubert's Violin Sonata in A Major, D 574, in a historic recording from 1928, reissued on LP in several different incarnations.
youtube
Lovely, isn't it? The fact that we can hear these two in a performance that is nearly 100 years old is mind boggling. We even have Rachmaninoff playing his own concertos, all from 1925 to 1929! Let's jump ahead a few decades to the mid-late '50s and hear another of Chopin's Scherzos, played by Vladimir Horowitz, from his glory days in the 1950s at RCA. We hear the Scherzo No. 2 in B-flat Minor, Op. 31, recorded in 1957.
youtube
And I thought we might wrap today's Morning Coffee Music up with a couple of lovely songs, sung by Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, from her Carnegie Hall Recital of November 25, 1956. We hear Mozart's song "Abendempfindung", K. 523 and then Richard Strauss' "Wiegenlied" (Cradle Song), op. 41, nº 1. George Reeves is the Accompanist.
youtube
youtube
And with that gorgeous little melody still hanging in the air, we bring today's Morning Coffee Music to a close. I do hope you've enjoyed the selections this morning! Mr. Baggins signing off for now, but I'll return at 2pm Pacific with your Afternoon Stack of Classic Wax!
Until then, be kind, babies, be kind.
Baggins out.

After Yuma's parents disappeared, they began seeing each other less. Then, one day (during early S1), Mari decided to go pay her old friend a visit. The two instantly reconnected and rekindled their friendship. She ended up getting semi-roped into Yuma and Astral's whole thing with the Numbers, not that she minded much ("Whooo!! Some adventure!!").
Yuma introduced her to some of his new friends, including Kikyo, the witch of water, who she instantly fell for and started a relationship with when she found out she felt the same way.
Personality
Mari is a kind, upbeat, and bubbly girl who enjoys having fun with people and making them happy. That being said, she's also tough and not afraid to speak her mind, and she will not hesitate to slap someone if they're being a pr/ck, especially if they're being mean to those she cares about.

Origins: Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo are triplets that live under Claudia’s care in the Nibelheim Orphanage. They are also the genetic children of Sephiroth and Elfe. The latter was forced to be an experiment for Project C as the former was completely unaware of it due to Hojo just needing sperm from him. Despite being more able-bodied than most of the orphans, Hojo deemed them as failures as they are not perfect clones of Sephiroth and have “faulty” traits, such as Kadaj having early signs of learning disabilities, Loz having neurological disorders and absence seizures, and Yazoo having motor skill issues. Hojo decided to experiment on them to “improve” their bodies. Because of the experiments in infancy, the triplets got abilities, but they came with their drawbacks. It got worse when Hojo caused Kadaj to be shaken out of frustration at him for being a “failure” as he was the prime replacement for Sephiroth. Soon after, Hojo put them into mako tanks in Nibelheim while thinking of how to deal with them and the rest of the children when the time comes.
Fortunately, the Triplets and the other orphans were discovered by three guys from Nibelheim by accident. After the village discussion, Claudia decided to take in all forty of them. The Triplets were the first to recover from the mako tanks within two days, and the first to adapt to Nibelheim, making their debut by playing hide & seek around the Lockhart household.
The Triplets are a whirlwind of creativity, chaos, and energy, amplifying one another’s mischief and daring. Fiercely loyal and inseparable, their dynamic thrives on Kadaj’s bold and daring leadership, Loz’s strength and enthusiasm, and Yazoo’s calm precision. While their antics exasperate others, their charm, humor, and love make them endearing.
Each faces unique struggles shaped by their disabilities. Kadaj, despite his cleverness and leadership, struggles with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and apraxia, often masking his frustrations with mischief. Loz, physically strong and emotionally open, deals with absence seizures, ADHD, and self-consciousness from a surgical scar. Yazoo, composed and observant, navigates developmental coordination disorder and sleepwalking, which can lead to isolation. Together, their differences sometimes clash, but their bond remains their greatest strength, allowing them to support one another through challenges and navigate the world as a united team.
The Triplets adore Claudia, seeing her as a warm and patient mother who provides them with stability and unconditional care. Kadaj respects her but hides his need for affection, Loz is deeply attached, and Yazoo appreciates her quiet understanding. They have a playful yet sometimes exasperating bond with Tifa, treating her like a strong big sister who keeps them in check. Vincent is their "cool but scary" adoptive father—Kadaj tries to impress him, Loz admires but fears his intensity, and Yazoo connects with his reserved nature. Dr. Lenox is their favorite prank victim; they love annoying him, though they secretly appreciate his care. Despite his complaints, he ensures their well-being, making him an unwilling but reliable guardian figure.
Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo see the other orphans as family, balancing mischief with fierce protectiveness. At first, the boys view Ms. Shaw as a challenge, daring each other to test her patience with harmless pranks. However, over time, they grow fond of her gruff yet secretly caring nature. She begrudgingly tolerates their antics and quietly looks out for them.
They naturally take charge in group activities, leading wild adventures and encouraging pranks, but Yazoo keeps things from getting out of hand. Despite their troublemaking, they bring laughter and energy to the orphanage. They are protective older brothers, standing up for younger or vulnerable orphans—Kadaj is quick to defend, Loz uses his strength, and Yazoo watches over them in a quiet but effective way. While their strong personalities sometimes lead to small rivalries, conflicts never last long. No matter how much they tease or compete, the Triplets love their adoptive siblings and will always stand together to protect their home.
The three boys view the Turks as serious but entertaining, frequently pranking Reno and Elena, while Rude’s quiet tolerance earns their respect. They remain cautious around Tseng, sensing his authority. Among the Shinra Directors, they dislike Heidegger’s loud arrogance, find Scarlet’s vanity amusing but exhausting, and mock Palmer’s clumsiness. Reeve is the only executive they genuinely like, appreciating his sincerity. Hojo, however, unsettles them deeply, triggering an instinctive aversion. They openly dislike Junio Shinra, finding her condescending, and Rochelle’s spoiled attitude makes her an easy target for their antics. While they tolerate Vermilion, they deliberately ruin PR events involving her mother and other executives.
