Feel free to request or suggest deities! This list will be done in order but you can ask for me to complete one that’s further down the list.
This list is subject to change. There are probably repeat deities (deities who go by multiple names, parts of groups like the Horae or Charities who are mostly grouped together, etc.) on this list. Some deities are not on here. Some names are spelt wrong or different.

Okay, so for my own fanfictions, most of which take place post-TOA and therefore post-Percy "claim your children" Jackson and Jason "honor minor gods" Grace, I made myself a spreadsheet of all the cabins I believe could plausibly be at Camp Half-Blood, and ended up with a whopping 270, and there's probably more dieties whom I couldn't find any information on, and some dieties whom I don't believe would have a cabin (ex. Kronos) (if you think I should add someone comment) and decided to paste it here, since I don't feel comfortable sharing my original spreadsheet. I did add the water dieties, even though their kids could also plausibly go to the underwater camp, but I've decided to give them the option of what camp they want. I also didn't copy their domains, but I have the list from my research, so you can ask if you'd like, I'll be glad to explain! Most of my research was from Theoi Project - Greek Mythology, and Brittanica, and probably some others I've since forgotten, so if you know any good Greek Mythology resourses and books, please share!
Here's some symbols before we begin:
* - virgin goddess. I added them because Athena and Artemis already have cabins (and Athena kids by magical means)
" - Dieties whom have faded in the series. Their cabins are more memorials to them.
Additionally there are 2 dieties named Thalia, (1) Thalia refers to the muse, the goddess of comedies, and (2) Thalia refers to the goddess of festivities and banquet

Themes
So that's my list. I don't really have a rhyme or reason for why each number is each, but I did clump together gods with similar domains because that's where they were easiest to find in my research... I honestly think kids of minor gods are very underused in TOA fics, and even in PJO and HOO to an extent. Jillie, my nine year old daughter of Gelus with a contageous laugh? One of my fave OCs.
As for Roman gods and goddess, I'm not as knowledgable, but hopefully I'll make a spreadsheet for plausable godly parents, though unlike CHB it doesn't need to be organized as there's just Cohorts. I don't write Camp Jupiter fics all that often, but it'll be a good resource to have if I choose to.

AU «Deal with the Time» Chthonic Gods and the Unseen
Hypnos
Hypnos is an exhausted poor guy who is not going to be given a break. The war caught him in its trap one of the first: he was in Oneiros, the Dreamland, when, with the help of Lethe, he felt the return of the Titans, and, reacting to this, chained everyone he could reach in chains of sleep. Obviously, everyone except Chronos.
For Titans, it was a normal dream, but for Hypnos, it was a constant job. And since the Titans are one of the oldest gods, older than Hypnos himself, the Sleep, it turned out to be especially difficult to keep them in a dream, even if they were weakened at that moment. Therefore, Hypnos had to plunge into the very depths of Oneiros, so deep that no one could get in there except the original inhabitants of the Oneiros, at the same time shackling not only the titans, but also himself with chains of sleep.
As a result, this isolated Hypnos from everyone: from the reality with the House of Hades, and from his own children living in the Dreamland. Yes, Hypnos has children. Trio. Morpheus, Phantasos and Icelos (Phobetor). We will tell you more about them in a future post.
The task was also complicated by Iapetus's resistance – he quickly realized that their dream was imposed by force, so he constantly fought. This exhausted Hypnos even more, because making those who do not want to sleep is still a task, Zeus confirms this. The rest of the Titans slept peacefully in ignorance.
When Hypnos has to make a decision about the Chronos deal, in other words, at the start of the AU, he is already exhausted and has difficulty keeping the Titans asleep. Hyp is one of those gods whom the war has left an indelible mark on, having influenced most of all.
Thanatos
Below is an excerpt that allows you to understand how Thanatos perceived the spell cast by Chronos.
«The sand is pouring out of nowhere, attracting everyone's attention. Meg draws the whip, Achilles raises the spear, and Zagreus immediately has a sword in his hands. Thanatos has nothing when the Titan appears on the throne, when a grin cuts through his sharp cheekbones. Death's hands are empty, but he dares not rush away.
Almost all the inhabitants of the House can stand up for themselves: even Dusa is able to fight. Hypnos, in fact, too. But Hypnos is asleep. Right behind him, behind Thanatos's back. It doesn't even twitch from the appearance of the Titan. His twin brother is defenseless, and Thanatos will be damned if he moves even a step away from him. He's ready to fight with his bare hands if he has to.
Chronos just tilts his head lazily, his white eyes sparkling.
– Well, hello.
Bloody gold absorbs everything.
...The screams of millions of voices deafen Thanatos, and he sinks to the ground, covering his ears in a futile attempt to drown them out. This is ridiculous. They're screaming in his head. They cry, they call, they beg. His whole core, his whole essence, is splitting, convulsing.
WRONGWRONGWRONGWRONGWRONG–»
As can be seen from this fragment, for Thanatos, less than a second has passed since the appearance of Chronos in the House (capture of the House) and the transition to the events of AU. But this does not mean that further events will not affect him: such a serious imbalance as the absence of the opportunity to reap souls, and the gap that arose with Hypnos, will take their toll. All fans of analyzing the problems of the relationship between twins will like it.
Zagreus
In this universe, Zagreus has already been freed by Melinoë from the sands of Chronos. He's the first and only one Mel has been able to get out of captivity at all at the moment. It is this event that forces Titan (along with the guess about Hypnos' involvement in the brothers' sleep) to decide on an exchange: Chronos is afraid that Melinoe may soon release other prisoners, including Thanatos. Therefore, he decides to play this card before he loses it.
Unlike Tan, Zagreus did not escape unharmed from captivity. According to our headcannons, Zag is not just a god of blood and life, but also a god of rebirth. So, his blood has healing properties. It is also indirectly the reason for the return of the Titans. Therefore, Chronos regularly pulled him out of the pause and took his ichor (most often just cutting off some limb) to regain strength for himself and his brothers. It traumatized the boy a little.
At the time of the events, Zagreus had been free for no more than a month and was still recovering from everything he had experienced. He feels cornered, because he can't help anything, and no one is ready to let him go to war, fearing that he will simply return to the Titan's hands, absurdly dying. (Sorry, Zagreus, but according to the canon, you literally die from standing in magma. And this is not even the most absurd. So... no excuses). Therefore, the boy is depressed and angry, and also afraid for his loved ones. But he met his sister! And soon his lover was returned to him (even if the price is absolutely terrible). So Zag will not sit idly by and will definitely do everything in his power to kick other people's (gods') asses again. Chronos does not know what awaits him.
Melinoë
Melinoe, at the time of the start of AU, is no different from her game version, except that she believes more strongly that her victory over Chronos is already close. And rejoices at the return of her brother!!! Part of her family is finally around. But, unfortunately, the return of the other Titans will greatly throw her back into the field of war. Only now, to Chronos' grief, this will not reduce her tenacity in the least. A stubborn girl will only be ready to kick her grandfather's ass with double zeal, wanting to free her family and a certain god of sleep.
Others
Hecate, Selene, Nemesis, Moros, Eris, Charon and etc are identical to their game versions at the time of the events of the second part.
The exact status of Alecto and Tisiphone for the Unseen is unknown. It is assumed that they were also among the prisoners of Chronos, even though Melinoe did not see them or Nyx during the rescue of Zagreus; the Unseen believe that they are most likely imprisoned elsewhere, like Hades or Fates

~*Seph's Daughters*~
first - next - last
cranking out Melinoe content as the one person who knew abt her before Had2 comes out - JOAKS,, anyway fr do you too forget all the time that Maci and Meli are half sisters bc OOPS!! though of course Meli's since been adopted by Euriales so -
weeelll for the uninformed, since i dont talk about Meli much here (anymore ah), lets delve into a very long recap<333 for you new people but also for you old people for funsiess – ahem! underr the cut! This is a massive lore dump!!!
FIRST: Melinoe! version: BLANK. the backstory – 2,000 years ago, she was born the daughter of persephone and ZEUS, who saw an awful "opportunity" when the Underworld royal family was in turmoil immediately following the thanatos debacle and seized it :(( Melinoe was born with two physical souls inside of her, one of them the embodiment of all good and the other the incarnation of all evil, prophesied by Fate to lean one way or the other but ONLY one at a time depending on how she was treated
Her “family”… fuckin ignored this and proceeded to neglect and ignore her for eight solid years – mostly Hades but YES also Maci who 1) is not always the best person im sorry you had to find out this way fjfhfhg but also 2) was heavily influenced by Hades who was manipulating the fuck out of her too so idk I guess she cant fully be blamed??? She certainly should be tho cmonn. The Blank Early Melinoe, while the dual souls inside of her each waited to seize control of her vessel, did not speak (actually fun gross fact whenever she’s Blank shes got no physical tongue fhfhg), or sleep or really do anything, just quietly haunted the palace. Her aura was split down the middle black and white! and then!
SECOND: iiits OrigiMel! version: EVIL. “origiMel” is not a real name first of all its just Melinoe but she is considered the ORIGINALL incarnation of Melinoe hence the OoC nickname to differentiate, by age 8 the evil side of her had had enough and wrested control of the physical vessel and assumed her role as Goddess of Ghosts, Most Evil Creature In the Universe and thus began a reign of terror that would continue for two fuckin millenia. Her aura turning black. She murdered lots and lots of mortals and has done SO many awful things! Shed also hypnotize their ghosts of mortals she killed to serve her as endless slaves and playthings forever. Bc she reached her full powers so goddamn early thanks to Hades and Seph an Maci treating her like shit, Melinoe is forever 8 years old (out of universe this is. Because when I created her 15 years ago I was fucking obsessed with the ring that’s literally it. Self callout ig whatever lmfao) but was theeee most physically powerful being in the entire underworld.
Eventually due to her persistent hatred for Maci and family she focused all of her evil energies on the mortal Maci was DATING 2,000 years later – this of course was Tory – and she terrorized HIM specifically in some really really awful ways, before they got together, AFTER they got together – shes actually a huge part of Maci and Tory's story as their main villain forget about fuckin Thanatos,,, well this all culminated in the absolute last straw when she murdered Tory’s mother :((( in,, front of him,,, , eventually the Elysium gang figured out that by erasing her memories, they could reset her Blank again and give the good half of her a chance to take over, so after she was captured following that murder, Epi and Maci and Tory and Lethe forcibly erased OrigiMel's memory which turned her Blank indeed and then-
THIRD: finally, Meli! version: GOOD. That’s exactly what happened! When OrigiMel’s memory was erased, she was taken in by Epi and Eury (before they had other children, she was their first ,,) who adopted her as their own and cared for her lovingly, eventually the good half of her seized control. This is the Meli of today! She is sweet and kind and compassionate, still eternally eight years old, she has a family who she loves and so many siblings (including Ty and Bel who are her BABY BROTHERS no matter how old they get!), she loves to draw and hang out with her best friends whomst are all ghost children fggkgkh.,, The first thing she did as new Meli was cut her hair.
Meli’s aura glows white – WITH PATCHES OUT OF IT, becauuuse well oh god it’s a very long story but years later the evil half of her briefly escaped and umm killed Epi and eury’s first bio baby Melanie, before she was immortal in utero, tearing her soul to shreds as goddess of ghosts and uh. Aahh. Meli found all the pieces and glued them back together using parts of her own aura :’))) Melanie’s soul was reincarnated into Ty and Bel hence why they’re one split into two!!! Anyway as for Maci and Meli – i guess tbh they never really formed any sort of formal sisterly relationship since Seph's so disowned her and Meli is so completely Epi and Eury’s daughter, but Maci does love her and uh. Is super embarrassed and regretful of allowing all that to happen so. Happily ever after now!
Aaaaand that’s it weeooo. Anyway enjoy these three pictures rffjghjgjhkgggjkfgj i didnt need to write all that if you made it to the end. hi. thanks.

This is a long one, folks. I still am pondering that dream I had, where I met with the goddess of forgetfulness Lethe.
Due to her nature I can't remember the exact words, but I remember the meaning or intention. I am claimed by an underworld goddess with a connection to justice.
Unfortunately that's vague. Underworld could be referring specifically to the realm of Hades, but there is some wiggle room. Some cthonic deities are gods that reside in those lower realms, and some of them are gods of agriculture. I assume for this purpose it is strictly underworld goddesses, which would be Persephone, Melinoe, Styx, Lethe, Makaria, the Fates, and the Furies.
Then is the connection to justice part. The Fates are sometimes children of Themis, the goddess/titaness of divine law. And the Furies serve directly under them, in addition to their roles as avengers and vindicators. Styx has oaths sworn on her river that are binding even to the gods, and oaths are a sort of conditional curse. As far as I'm aware, they're like they're legally binding, a contract between the individual and whatever god(s) or Styx they invoke. This overall would rule out Persephone, Melinoe, Makaria, and likely Lethe.
This would leave Styx, the Furies, and the Fates.
I suppose those time where my mind's eye has its attention grabbed could count as a vision, at least by technical definition. In that case, I had a vision of Styx within Hades' palace. But there was no further context to it unless her presence enough is significant. Which I suppose it would be. But I discount that more than dreams because in these "visions" I have a more conscious control compared to dreams. And the dream came after a prayer to Hypnos, the god of sleep.
And of course, this was a few years ago for the initial dream where I was claimed. I think I was still in college at the time. Everything could have changed since.

do you like to cuddle?: yes but i was never the one that resisted affection
can we make-out?: it always starts with a kiss, doesn’t it.
a night in or dinner out?: out.
whip cream or chocolate syrup?: chocolate, i don’t know.
chocolates and roses?: it’s not that hard to get both. so both.
what makes you a good valentine?: i’m not going to justify myself to you.ii don’t need to explain why i’m worth being with. we’re not having this fight again.
would you cook for me?: no.
would you let me cook for you?: sure, but you won’t.
where would you take me on a date?: we can literally go anywhere. but umm…that one restaurant we liked in france.
who’s paying?: we don’t use money
what did you get me for valentine’s day?: a gift.
if melinoe didn't know any better, they might think that the other was jealous. irritated at the idea of someone else getting to be their valentine this year . . as if lethe hadn't been for centuries before. did she always have to be so passive agressive ? melinoe rolls her eyes, sighing to cross arms. ❛ if i didn't know any better i'd think you were jealous, ❜ they tease with a grin, ❛ be nice & maybe i'll consider it. ❜

How the Zagreus Boss fight will go down in Hades 2
Melinoe: Zag, you can’t just leave.
Zagreus, overworked and sleep-deprived, running on pure adrenaline to keep going for the past however-long-Hades-has-been-gone: I will literally jump head first in the Lethe before returning to ruling.
Melinoe: Someone has to keep the realm afloat bro!
Zag, pulling out as many infernal arms as he can: When you get to the house, tell them Dusa’s in charge.

DPxHP HC - Thoughts On Obscurials & Wizardry
Something I don't understand is why, when Danny is brought to a Wizarding school & Danny refuses to cooperate, why don't people tell him that if he doesn't use his magic & train it, that he runs the risk of developing an Obscurial?
Like, all they'd have to say is that his magic will eat him from the inside out & that it could result in wild, violent, & dangerous outbursts that could potentially hurt, if not kill, others.
If nothing else, he'd listen to a warning that suggests he or his loved ones could be hurt through his actions.
---
While Illvermorny is recognized as the wizarding school in America, the truth is, it's just the biggest & most recognized. In reality, America is too big to only have 1.
Instead, there are several, the second most famous one resides near Salem, while another can be found in New Orleans, which also has a vast magical community & has America's equivalent of Diagon Alley, which can be found under Bourbon Street in the catacombs, Bazar du Sous-Sol du Laveau.
There are also several small wizarding schools that teach courses on traditional Native American magics, as well as other courses on the magics of other cultures. That is, alongside American magic which is a mix of different culture's magical disciplines.
Like, I can absolutely see Amity being a sort of no-man's land for magic considering the amount of ghosts there are there. It'd absolutely be a Statute of Secrecy risk.
But at the same time, the Salem Magical Institute, the New Orleans Seminary of Voodoo (or NOSoV), known locally as New Orleans Séminaire du Vaudou, & any other schools available would have to take in the magical Amity children because of the possibility of them becoming Obscurials & becoming even bigger risks to the Statute of Secrecy.
At the same time, I imagine that MACUSA has tried to Obliviate the no-maj residents to get them to forget the strange, solid ghosts that have been appearing in the town. Which, I think it'd be interesting if the magical community has had a remarkably small amount of encounters with. Like, the most well-documented Hereafter/IR ghosts that they know about are poltergeists & there's still very little on them. I read a fic where Constantine has never actually met one & even once compares them to demons alongside ghosts even though I think the IR ghosts would find that insulting & inaccurate. I mean, demons are evil by default. Ghosts are more ambiguous.
That is, even though wizards & wiccans use Lethe river water in forgetfulness potions, they get it from an old fountain in Greece where an ancient temple to Hades lays. As such, it's been largely forgotten by the wizarding world that the fountain was built by an ancient thanatomagical priest of Hades, Persephone, & their children, Zagreus & Melinoe, or that it's from the Underworld, which is just a small section of the IR.
However, I feel like ectoplasm has a small resistance to certain magics, especially the Obliviate spell. As such, because most of the townspeople are in some stage of liminality, they can't be Obliviated.
Either way, they might not want to have anything to do with anything that violates the Statute of Secrecy, but in order to minimize & control the problem as much as possible, they have to.
Like, no one seems to take this fact into account when they write DPxHP crossovers.
---
Another thing is the reactions of the Fenton parents to the revelation of magic existing. Particularly, that they would be very stubborn about disbelieving it.
Both of them.
They're both scientists after all.
Though Jack, having come from a line of supernatural hunters, would be much easier to get to believe it, but at the same time, he is very much against it. He was always the black sheep of the family & was always very terrible at the clan's apotropaic magics & never really understood the process. Like, he just couldn't wrap his head around the 'mechanics.' So, he rejected it, asserting that it was all phoney & hocus-pocus & he instead sought out a way to fight ghosts using something he did understand. Which was science & engineering.
On the other hand, Maddie would absolutely NOT believe in it at all & would be utterly convinced that it was all hooey & it would be like pulling teeth to get her to believe otherwise. Not only that, but she'd get angry about people trying to convince her & her family otherwise.
It wouldn't be until it all comes to a head, possibly Jazz developing an Obscurial & beginning to slowly die, that she'd realize that it's real. But even then, she wouldn't react well. It would destroy everything she thought she knew about the world while Jack would adjust... rather clumsily, but he'd adjust.
Like, I imagine that Danny, Jazz, Sam, Tucker, & Ellie would all have magic & that when an eagle first came with Jazz's letter, & Maddie was the one who read it & scoffed, then threw it away.
It'd be a similar scene to the first book/movie where the owls kept coming. Only here, Maddie would find a way to repel the animals. Maybe some sort of force field around the town, which could be what caused the issue in the first place.
Then, as more & more kids would start getting ill with some unknown illness that lashes out & destroys things, then begin dying, Jazz included. After the first couple of deaths, MACUSA Aurers would come & use their magic to destroy the field.
After which, they'd escort representatives of the Salem Magical Institute, New Orleans Seminary of Voodoo, or Illermorny, as well as healers & Obscurial experts, to the homes of magical children with new letters & begin to try & save as many children as possible.
There would be stern lectures on the negligence of magic & the dangers of Obscurials.
For families like the Mansons, there would also be a clarification that while the sort of witches they were always warned about did exist, they are by far, NOT the norm.
That magic itself isn't evil, rather it's neutral, & that it's just something you're born with. It only becomes a real danger through misuse or disuse.
The only way to become the sort of witches that they fear is for an individual to make a bargain with some dark entity, either for magic or more power.
That there is a distinct difference between the wiccans & wizards (which is what I call the general wizarding public) of wizarding world society, called light magic, & the witches & warlocks of dark magic.
Even still, I don't think the Manson parents would approve. Ida would be supportive if cautious, while Jeremy would be dubious, both due to their religion, but not Pam. Pamela would reject the training of magic outright as a result of generations of anti-magic & Scourer thinking.
It's from her side of the family that Sam gets her magic from & one of her ancestors was a dark witch burned at the stake during the Salem Witch Trials before the invention of the bluebell flame spell. This resulted in magiphobic ideologies in her family &, as a result, they tried to reject their abilities.
Pam had always feared that her daughter would turn out like her ancestor & now, she feels that her fears have been realized.
Though, despite canon, the true emotion behind all her anger & derision is legitimate fear for her daughter.
---
Currently, American magic-users get their wands from a wandmaker in New Orleans: Violetta Beauvais. She creates scarily powerful wands out of swamp mayhaw wood & hairs from rougarous, the dog-headed monsters native to the swamps of Louisiana.

Are the PJO Children of Hades counterparts for the Mythological Children of Hades?
Okay, I'm gonna keep it short.
Basically, I noticed that there were three children of Hades in the PJO books. Two girls, one boy. And there are three children in the actual mythology, also two girls and one boy. So, I looked into it, and there are multiple similarities between each sibling.
Bianca Vs Makaria
Makaria is the goddess of blessed death, and the child of Persephone and Hades. Nothing much is known about her, but that can be used to our advantage as Bianca is also the least known out of the three. Or the one who's been around the least.
Besides that, by blessed death they mean someone who dies in battle, expecting and welcoming death. Sounds like Bianca's death to me.
An added bonus is that the name Bianca means "white". Makaria is, even in old art, drawn with white hair and extremely pale skin.
Hazel Vs Melinoe
Melinoe appears in the PJO books, but only in a side story. She's the goddess of nightmares, ghosts and illusions. Very interestingly, she's often confused with Hecate, who becomes Hazel's mentor in the books.
Melinoe is also the goddess of ghosts, and cursed spirits. Hazel is the only one of the three who was a ghost for some time.
Nico Vs Zagreus
Okay, this one was the most fun, and also because there's a lot to work with. First, Zagreus is the god of rebirth. He got this title because when he was a kid, he was eaten by the Titans. Thankfully, he survived this ordeal because his heart survived and he regrew from it. Myth logic. But the point is, surviving under impossible circumstances? Nico in Tartarus, anyone?
Besides that, there are little "rebirth" metaphors everywhere in Nico's backstory. He was dipped in the River Lethe, which is something generally only reincarnating souls do. His entire past was erased, instead putting him in an entirely new era, essentially having him be reborn.
Zagreus is also the one mostly on the surface, because when he was reborn, his heart was actually given to a mortal woman who gave birth to him all over again, and he as such is the one Hades child known for being on the surface. The same as Nico is the one Hades child in the story who has never died.
Also, Zagreus is often associated and mixed up with Dionysus. Who does Nico think is incredibly cool and has a surprisingly good relationship with? DIONYSUS.
So, does this make sense? Have I convinced you?

@kallistcs continued from x
“Melinoe says I must have dipped at least a hand in it at some point,” Adonis comments with a huffy pout. It’s not his fault he forgets things! And the Lethe has nothing to do with that!
Well. He doesn’t think it does. And besides, he asked Lethe herself not that long ago and she promised him nothing such had happened.
But that annoyance is easily forgotten in the face of Hermes’ declaration of pride for his growing skills and the conditional promise of potentially more honey cakes. Giggling, he squeezes Hermes’ neck and lowers his voice as he leans in.
“He can steal even from you?” That thought is quite spectacular, and perhaps that will be Adonis’ eventual goal, because in that moment he decides he wants to be able to do that too. It’d be amazing.
“Um…” Adonis frowns in thought as he eyes the long queue. “We went on a walk all the way over to the Pyriphlegethon, me and Cerberus. If you toss the stones on the beach into it, they melt! And Mama took me along to visit Styx yesterday. All the…”
The frown deepens. His mother had told him the word for the stone - no, mineral, she’d said - formations that’d dripped down from the ceiling, but he can for the life of him not remember it.
“The things, down from the ceiling in her entrance hall? They’re really pretty.”
Hermes can't help but laugh at the comment Melinoe gave. In some ways it was very true, Adonis could be forgetful. Forgetful and independent. Somewhat of a dangerous combination, hence why Hermes and others checked on him. To save their own heads!
As he walks, the psychopomp bounces the little godling in his arms. Hearing the shock in the boy's voice, he grinned. Good, Adonis recognised that Hermes was the best at stealing. He'd taught him well.
"Well I suppose it's more of a tax or business arrangement." Hermes counters, wanting to keep his reputation as the best thief around. "I keep my stuff on his boat, and he takes a little as payment. Actually stealing from me is impossible."
The boy tells him about his recent events as Hermes follows the line of shades back towards Charon's large boat at the dock. It was not the only one there, a few other freight and storage boats also were docked.
"They do. Did you see how slowly the ripples move through the molten liquid too?" He approaches Charon's empty boat, the boatman clearly on break, and lifts Adonis safely into it first.
"Oh the stalagtites? Yeah they are. Did you see the salt crystals shimmering on them?" He asked, stepping into the boat himself as he wondered if he could ever get Adonis truly interested in science. It was something Hermes was still keenly learning about.
"Right, close your eyes and put your hands over them. I'll get the honey cakes, but I'm not showing you my secret snack stash."

PlotS please?
Ask Meme: Plots Here! Get Your Plots! – @tragedyprophesied
I am going to just run down the muse list and write what comes to mind because I want to write with everyone okay let’s go
- LETHE we need to do some threads with Lethe. The angsty potential there is absolutely off the charts. I feel like Nico on some level blames her for forgetting everything, but then again he knows she didn’t of her own will but was following orders so it’s complicated and angsty
- I feel like Nico and Hecate could bond over chthonic stuff. And in canon, Hecate trains Nico’s sister Hazel in magic so there’s that possible connection too
- oof oof, all the threads with Persephone-- familial threads? Learning how to be a family? I love all the ranges and spectrums of the possible interactions between these two. I have a god verse too were Nico is the true son of Hades and Persephone, so that’s just wholesome
- several thoughts are knocking around my head about the various water muses because Nico 1) gets motion sickness on water and 2) cannot swim, so that’s some fun tension to explore
- also Melinoe!! in canon, nico has met melinoe and she briefly took on the appearance of nico’s dead mother, so we could explore that or we could yeet canon and have more fun chthonic times too

hi there! i'm not the best with greek could you help me with some deities that deal with the dead/in the underworld? that's what i gravitate the mist towards. thanks in advance!
— ☄ anon !
ahh — my dear anon, you may have asked mine and jeeda’s favourite kind of question, we both adore the underworld and it’s realms and deities. i’ll give you a quick masterclass because us modmins did our research and compiled a lot of cool info. so lets get to it !
— quick underworld crash course.
FIRST AND FOREMOST ! our main course of resource and research is the amazing website theoi, so go there for more specific info once you have a set idea ! in general, not too many deities straight up live in the underworld, there are many that travel to olympus and hang with zeus’ crew and also are welcomed to hang out with hades’s guys, it’s not like an exclusive thing that they have to stay in any realm, mostly.
also, good to know, are your realms because that’s where they get their powers and symbols and motifs from (mostly), stuff you’d see on the powers page, the general underworld has a two categories, and you can click and learn more if you like. also the underworld gods have lots of ties to rustic gods, which means that it’d be handy to know about the eleusinian mysteries (there’s a bit on our facts page that has all you need to know for this RP!)
your main place that you’ll know; HADES — aka House of Hades + a dark and dismal realm where bodiless ghosts flitted across the grey fields of asphodel, a royal palace of the underworld king who possessed orchards, fields and herds of black cattle. the five infernal rivers and their gods are there, here most wicked are sentenced to eternal torment, souls dragged to tartarus, or to the blessed to an afterlife of goodness escorted to elysium.
and beneath it, in so many words, is called TARTARUS aka. Pit Beneath the Earth & Dungeon of the Damned + the dungeon of the damned where the souls of the wicked were condemned by the judges of the dead to a period of enforced purgatory or, for the truly irredeemable, to eternal damnation. home to the great tartarean pit, the prison-home of typhon, and the anthropomorphic representation of the primordial god himself, tartarus.
SO — here’s some of your available homies from the collective underworld that we pre-compiled:
TITANS: styx (also a daimona and a goddess) & cronus
GODS: acheron, cocytus, pyriphlegethon
GODDESSS: macaria, lethe, melinoe
DEMI-GODS: the judges of the dead; minos, rhadamanthys and aeacus
GODDESSES GROUP: the furies; alecto, megaera and tisiphone
GODDESS GROUP: the fates; clotho and lachesis, (atropus is already here!)
NYMPHS: minthe, leuce, gorgrya, herkyna, daeira, the lampades
DAIMONES: the keres, kharon, ascalaphus, the arae, the oneiroi (the daimones of dreams)
CREATURES/MYTHICAL BEASTS: typhon, the cyclopes; arges, brontes and steropes, cerberus, the laimiae
so that’s a crash course, and if you have an specific questions or further questions because this pantheon is ridiculous to comprehend in one go, send them to us. jeeda is basically a lay scholar their brain is so great, and we would love to help you !

Wait if Ethan didn’t tell the Titans what happened, how’d they later find out that Iapetus got his memories wiped, because Koios and I think Hyperion knew in HOH. Also, I’m dying to know what the Titans’ explanation was for Iapetus not being in Tartarus later, since he was in Hades’ palace. The idea that they found out Percy controlled the Lethe, something not even in his father’s domain so it shouldn’t even be something he can control, and tackled a Titan into it, but still considered Percy weak and not worthy of consideration is sending me
I said I can imagine him lying to them, I didn’t say I imagine him as a GOOD liar. They probably got the truth about Iapetus either from Ethan after he gave up trying to save face or from any of their underworld people like Melinoe or those flying fuckers that scratched up Percy who I can’t remember the names of. They could have found out about the servitude to Hades through those same underworld connections and all things considered, I think that’s the likeliest option since I severely doubt any of them cared enough about their brother to go down and investigate themselves.
On that last point, one of the titans worst flaws, perhaps their hamartia, could be considered their arrogance. Depending on your interpretation, their unflinching assuredness that they would win ultimately brought about their downfall and that is incredibly apparent in how they view Percy and the other demigods. They thought the demigods would die in a quick fight and they didn’t think the demigods on their own side would betray them. Even after an entire year of Luke fighting back against Kronos’ possession and four years of Percy miraculously surviving Kronos still insisted that Luke was dead and Percy was just some kid. He continued to underestimate them which is partially why he failed. The titans ignoring Percy’s advanced control of his powers is an excellent example of their hubristic arrogance. It is, as you said, also fucking hilarious.
