Imagine the lost light dimension hopping to tf one universe and meet the tf one crew. Many members of the lost light will have mix feeling about tf one universe with sentinel prime stealing tcogs from newborn cybertronians to orion pax becoming optimus after being murdered by his best friend to bee being an actual baby!?!?

Cue lost light ratchet, first aid, and velocity working on giving optimus, elita, and other miners a medical examination. Meanwhile babybee is looked after by rodimus prime and the rest of the lost light since some members of the lost light have experience taking care of sparklings.

Lost light megatron left Iacon and took drift and the rest of the lost light deadliest fighters with to beat up tf one megatron and his decepticons from making the same mistakes that lost light megatron did in his universe. Tf one megatron have no idea what hit him with his alternate self leading a team of the most insane transformers of universe. Warning some decepticons will be killed during the confrontation because of the dangerous weapons made by brainstorm and whirl being whirl.

Babybee with rodimus, rewind, swerve, and tailgate watching Bluey and eating energon cookies that swerve made while waiting for optimus and elita (lost light ratchet examine bee first to check any issue that will affect bee’s development as he grow older). Bee is drawn to talking puppies especially the character named bingo.

Bee eats his cookie and look to rodimus, “Hey rodimus, where’s meggy and rest of your crew go? They’ve been gone for 2 hours already.”

Rodimus knowing he can’t tell bee that his megatron took half the crew with him to beat up other self for being an idiot instead told bee, “Meggy and rest of the gang decide to go walk around Iacon to do some exercise since we haven’t been stopping for planets for a while.”

Bee seems to be satisfied with rodimus answer as he decides turn back to the screen.

Lost Light Crew Walks in on You Changing

warnings: slightly implied sexual references? not that much. mostly just the crew being goofy. I suppose this takes place in a human AU, or maybe the reader is human. I don’t know. Or care.

Rodimus

-He doesn’t even knock. He just barges right in, freezes, and practically screams some apology. “HOLY FRAG, I’M SO SORRY! I mean, damn, you look good, but I’M SO SORRY!!” He takes waaaaay too long to shut the door again. He then later pretends like nothing happened and flirts with you instead.

Drift

-He blinks. You blink. “Uh? Can you shut the door?” You ask. He blinks again, then you swear he whispers, “Sweet Primus” under his breath as his eyes travel up and down your body before swiftly turning out of the room. You’re all he can think about the rest of the week. Not that he would ever admit that.

Ultra Magnus

-He doesn’t even see you. He knocks. You respond that you are changing and he leaves with a quick apology. The next thing you know, a two-paged apology essay is sent to your datapad.

Ratchet

-He’s a doctor. He’s seen everything. A quick mumbled apology and he’s leaving already. Never mind the slight blush he has. What blush? Nothing happened. I don’t know what you’re talking about.

Cyclonus

-The second he enters he’s already walking backwards out. He doesn’t even apologize, he just makes painfully long eye contact with you. “Oh.” he says before slipping away. He then proceeds to avoid you for three weeks.

Tailgate

-“OH MY PRIMUS I’M SO SORRY HOLY SCRAP PLEASE DON’T KILL MEEEE!” There are tears. Lots of tears. And tripping and more apologies as he tries to close the door. He slams his own digits in the door. “OW! AUGH I’M STILL SO SORRY!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FORGIVE ME!” Cyclonus has to console him for hours.

Whirl

-“Are you sure you don’t want to help me steal Magnus’ door?” He barges in without so much as a pause, despite your exposed state. “No! Whirl! Get out!!” He does leave, but not before adding a few choice comments about your cowardice surrounding acts of vandalism. “Fine, I’ll make Skids help me. Also, you look pretty sexy. Not that I’d ever compliment you. I just meant like, objectively.” It’s possibly the kindest thing he’s ever said to you.

Brainstorm

-There’s a lot of stammering, and mumbled swearing. You’re sure he’s blushing and sweating like crazy. He steps backwards, covering his face with his briefcase. “Sorry. I mean of course I’m lucky to have seen you…like that, at least it wasn’t Perceptor who walked in…I’M GONNA GET BACK TO MY LAB NOW!”

Perceptor

-You might not even notice that he reacted at all. A flick of his eyes over your body. A slight stutter. He remains in the room, calmly talking to you, but you notice he’s more fidgety than usual. You smile at him when he leaves, and you swear you hear him release a sigh as the door closes.

Rewind

-Immediately shuts off his camera—and he never does that. He almost runs to you to hold your hand and apologize, but then he realizes that would just make it more awkward. Instead he covers his face and walks backwards out of the room, leaving you to shut the door yourself as his panicked little chattering fills the hallway.

Chromedome

-“Oh. Sorry.” He instantly covers his optics and starts to leave, before turning back around, still covering his face. “Do you want me to erase this memory? For both of us?”

“Uh…” you heasitate.

“I mean…it was a nice view.” He all but whispers, making you laugh. “You don’t have to erase it then, Domey.”

Skids

-Of course he doesn’t cover his eyes. He leaves, of course, but not before making a low, appreciative whistle. He makes a twirling motion with his hand, as if to ask you to spin so he could get the full view.

“Absolutely not. Get out, please.”

“Aw. It was worth a shot.”

Megatron

-Like Magnus, he actually knocks. When you explain that you are dressing, he just gives a swift apology and returns about ten minutes later. There is nothing awkward or undignified about the situation. I mean, did you really expect anything different from Megatron?

Nautica

-“Hey, can you-OH! SO SORRY!” She practically leaps in the air before covering her face. It then takes her six tries to shut the door properly. She doesn’t make eye contact with you for an entire month. Skids apologizes for her again later in the day. Legend has is that she blew a fuse blushing.

Rong

-Huh? When did he walk in on you changing? You don’t remember that? Well, I’m sure he would’ve apologised very politely.

Swerve

-“DAAAAAAMN, YOU LOOK GOOD!” the amount of eyebrow waggling he is doing should count as a medical condition.

“Please get out before I steal every last ounce of engex from your bar.” “Fiiiiine.” You swear he makes the 😔 face in real life.

Nightbeat

-For once in his life, he isn't running his mouth. He just stares. You swear he is committing every bare inch of your body to memory. He appeared mesmorized, as if he was finally confounded by some mystery.

"Uhm?" you squeak, and he snaps out of his trance.

"Sorry. I was just-uh, you look great. Yeah. Bye."

Getaway

-(in a perfect universe, you would shoot him upon entering because of everything he did.)

"This is one room I don't want to leave." He was leaning against the doorframe, drinking in his view of you. Despite your best efforts to quickly cover up, he still hadn't left. Or apologized for barging in. Let's just say he would be in there for a while.

First Aid

-He makes one step into the room, physically shakes his head, slams his mouth shut, and then leaves as quick as he possibly can. You want to visit him in the medbay? Nope. He's found some random patient to work on. You want to drink with him at Swerve's? Nope. He's drunk himself under the table the second you enter the room. Good luck ever getting him to look you in the eye again.

Velocity

-“Oh! Oh, wow- I mean like a good wow, but oh! I’m so sorry!!” She accidentally leaves the door open on the way out. She spends the next couple of weeks wondering if this will cause her to lose her medical license. It doesn’t.

Riptide

-It takes him maybe three whole minutes to realize that you aren’t properly dressed. Enough time that you’re pretty much already dressed by the time he finishes yapping about whatever. “Oh, wait, sorry! Should I have knocked?”

“I think it’s too late for that.”

Rodimus finds out he's sparked and is terrified because he remembers of how tank carriers were treated back when he was growing up, but to his surprise most of the crew doesn't really care when they find out. Some are even openly supportive, Tailgate and Rewind especially seem interested in learning how to care for a sparkling. Who knows, maybe Rodimus isn't the only tank carrier on board.

I mean, some like Getaway probably still tries to make terrible comments but Cyclonus shuts that shit down pretty quickly.

"Rodimus?"

Soundwave called out in concern when he recieved no answer. Walking through their apartment he found Rodimus sitting on the floor crying while holding a positive test.

"Rodimus are you okay? What's wrong?"

His mate looked over with tears streaming down his face.

"I'm sparked."

He carefully hugged his crying mate while trying to soothe him.

"I'm scared they're going to hurt our sparkling."

His engine growled as he pulled Rodimus closer.

"I won't let them hurt you or our sparkling."

Rodimus shook his head giving him a panicked look.

"You won't be able to stop them there's too many of them."

He sobbed and Soundwave wrapped his arms around him.

"What do you want to do?"

"I don't know. I don't want to leave the Lost Light but soon it won't be safe."

Rodimus cried shaking in fear as memories flashed before him.

"I'm sorry Roddy."

He kissed his forehead and Rodimus cried himself to sleep.

Rodimus had been on edge ever since he learned he was sparked. The Lost Light which was once home now felt like he was trapped in a cage, with predators who had no problem killing them both.

He shivered and ended up running into Drift because he wasn't looking. His friend had a weird look on his face and then he gasped and hugged him in excitement.

"I can't believe you're sparked Roddy that's so exciting."

His friend hugged him as he jumped up and down with a large grin on his face.

He gave him a nervous look while trying to free himself.

"No I'm not. I have no idea what you are talking about."

"Do you not know?"

Drift gave him a worried look and started dragging him towards the medbay.

"No I know."

He managed to pull his hand away still looking nervous.

"Roddy what's wrong?"

"You're not disgusted?"

"Why would I be disgusted?"

Drift gave him a confused and worried look.

"Because I'm s tank carrier."

He gave him a look as though it should be obvious.

"Of course not."

His friend looked aghast.

"I would never let anything happen to you or the sparkling Roddy."

He nodded feeling tears fall and his friend hugged him as he sobbed.

"I'm sorry Rodimus. I remember how things used to be and I can only hope they're different now. I will always support you and I know Ratchet will as well. You don't need to be worried about having a medic give you checkups because Ratchet will do that for you."

"Thank you."

He felt a weight lift off his shoulders as Drift began talking about the sparkling and how excited he was. They also visited Ratchet in the medbay who checked him over and confirmed that he was sparked and that the sparkling was healthy.

They didn't look very big currently, but he knew they'd get a lot bigger in the next few months. Although having Ratchet and Drifts support was a relief he was still worried about the others.

After getting sick on shift Megatron and Ultra Magnus had learned the truth. They'd been worried about him for a while noticing his strange symptoms and tried to take him to Ratchet. Even though he told them he was fine they didn't believe him and he finally told them the truth.

They'd looked at him in a stunned silence and then they both hugged him. He sighed in relief as they promised to be there for him and support him. Both of them understanding his worries and promising to deal with anyone who was rude to him l, which was nice.

He began showing a lot sooner than expected and it wasn't long before the crew knew. Most were supportive especially Tailgate and Rewind who both asked him a lot of questions.

When he asked why they wanted to know they both looked embarrassed and implied that he wasn't the only tank carrier.

Things had been going well until Getaway started loudly talking about how disgusting and wrong he was.

It made him shrink back putting a protective hand on his belly and Soundwave stood up looking enraged and was about to teach him a lesson, when Cyclonus beat him to it.

"Shut up."

He snarled and punched him in the face. Everyone sat there stunned except for Whirl who cheered.

"Let's feed him to the scraplets!?"

Cyclonus turned away from Getaway and went over to him.

"Are you okay?"

He nodded and after that no one bothered him again and if they did say something they quickly learned the hard way that was a mistake.

He tucked himself against Soundwave's chest letting his mate rub his back soothingly.

"I'm glad everything worked out and that we don't have to leave."

"Me too."

He cuddled against Soundwave feeling at peace along with their sparkling who was happy their sire was there.

It wasn't long before he fell asleep wrapped in Soundwave's arms feeling safe and secure. Something he never thought he'd feel as a tank carrier.

WHAT IF: Transformers Shattered Glass IDW x More than Meets the Eye/The Lost Light/The Scavengers IDW

Okay, since these kind of posts people seem to like, and I like making silly AUs, AND it's confusing to me why yall like them IMMA JUST MAKE ANOTHER ONE! XD Because it is FUNNY. SO!!!

Yall can read, SO YOU MAY BE WONDERING: Why? There's already concepts and shit about this! What's so DIFFERENT about this one? WELL TO ANSWER THAT I WILL SAY: All the other concepts (Which aren't bad by the way) all involved THE SAME CAST of characters. Rodimus, Ultra Magnus, etc. So HERE'S MINE.

(NOTE I will still be taking creative liberties to add and mix around somethings because yes)

The Decepticons have won the war. It was hard, and lots of good bots were killed. But for the most part the Autobots have accepted the loss. The war was finally over after all, of course they were going to accept it. Of course, some Autobots don't want to accept defeat but for the most part peace has been achieved. Megatron uses the Matrix of Leadership to use the ancient wisdom inside to help lead Cybertron alongside Slicer and Slipstream.

Starscream decides to take a ship, the Found Night, to explore the galaxy like he always wanted, to learn about it many planets and bring home various Cybertronians that need help. He assembles a large crew to explore the galaxy with him.

Later, after some adventures, Megatron would ask Starscream to allow Optimus Prime to board the Found Night. During Starscream's adventures, Optimus Prime had been trialed. Even though Optimus had a change of heart nearing the end of the war and stopped Rodimus from rewriting all of reality, many Cybertronians believed he needed an actual sentence. So they held a trial. But Optimus enacted ancient Cybertronian tradition, stating only the Clerics of Cybertron could judge him. Starscream, while suspicious, allowed Optimus to board the ship. From there, even MORE shenanigans took place, among other things.

To add to that I'm so curious in what their creators feel about them. I think you've mentioned that Megatron carries in every other relationship except with Starscream, so I'm super interested in knowing Starscream's experience with carrying Megatron's sparklings with all the violence in their pasts and how they both feel about their daughters? And a little bit about their daughters' personalities too! If that's okay with you.

Oh thank you so much I dont think i talk about them enough. So in all my aus when Starscream and Megatron get together officially and have their daughters they are already good. Like their relationship has been mended and they've been together for quite some time. It is post war, and peace times. And even in my aus where the war IS happening the two would have a good relationship.

But their daughters names are Megatronia, Nebula and Andromeda.

Tronia is the oldest and is most like Megatron but resembles Starscream the most. She has more of the 'leader' personality and in many of my aus takes over megatron's affairs after he retires. And in my idw aus, she and her half brother - Kaon - become leaders of Cybertron together. Kaon looks like Megatron's twin, she looks like Starscream's twin, so it's kinda funny. Tronia is a military strategist and likes fighting. She also really likes children as well given she cannot have her own. She trains under Megatron but also her tfp trains under Airachnid. Tronia is also close to Optimus.

then there is nebula who is more of a free spirit, who looks more like megatron but acts like an airhead in a good way. she loves flying but she also loves singing and dancing. she is also very courageous. Her idw counter part is an accidental time traveler, acutally, so is her tfp counter part. TFP counterpart accidentally goes back in time and befriends Miko while her idw counterpart befriends Tailgate. She and Tronia do not get a long like at all.

Both girls have cybertronian jet alt forms whereas Tronia's is more lik megatron's, Nebula's resembles starscream's.

next is andromeda who is the scientist of the family and has a lot of megatron's smarts. She also looks like starscream but a bit more 'bird like' and that's because she's partially an experiment. She was a still born and starcream actually died when he had her. Luckily, Shockwave was able to save them both. In order for Andromeda to survive however, Shocwave had to mix her CNA/Coding with predacon coding, and he also had to do the same to Starscream. Starscream's biology isn't affected but Andromeda's (and later his final child, Atlas) is. Andromeda unlike her sisters has a harpy eagle like alt form. She is incredibly smart, due to Megatron's genes. She is also the one he babied the most out of the girls and for the first year of her life she wasn't allowed to leave his subspace or play with any one, not even her siblings. Megatron had to go to therapy for paranoia after that. But she is very very sweet and kind. If she had a personality it would probably be Megatron's personality before he became a gladiator.

Starscream is actually very happy too be a carrier despite the major repercussions it has on his body. He doesn't care after a while. In my personal AUs, Seekers aren't supposed to be able to carry or have sparklings simply because of how they are created. They are only assembled to fly and fight and nothing else. Carrying was always a dream of Starscreams but he was told that he couldn't do it, and if he tried then it would injure him/possibly kill him. And it eventually does.

That was so traumatic to Starscream to hear so for millions of years he just pretended he hated sparklings and was against the idea of carrying them when that was one of his greatest desires. So when he and megatron are on good terms and are together, it is something he wants to try. Starscream has four sparklings and nearly loses his life every time, but it's still something he wants, well he does die after he has Andromeda but is revived. Because of how he is constructed, it is very difficult for sparklings to grow to full term so he has a lot of complications but all his daughters are healthy, just small but they grow fast. Starscream's last child is his son who is not born small at all and does not have the 'seeker' frame which is very difficult on him.

Megatron makes sure that is the last child they have together for Starscream's own health and benefit. As traumatized as he is with Andromeda he is even more traumatized that Starscream went through all of that, and still wanted to have more sparklings. So he puts an end to it because Starscream's body physically wouldn't be able to take anymore - whether we talk about his tfp or idw counter part.

Your superhero au is giving me brain worms to write a fanfic! Are there any headcanons that you have for each character?

Indeed there are!

- Ratchet developed the synth-en formula because he felt useless as the only member of the team without powers.

- Ultra Magnus is ex-military and subsequently quite regimented and disciplined. His super senses do not help with this, since they can be quite overwhelming and force him to remain stoic at all times.

- Breakdown does not have invulnerable skin like Bulkhead but makes up for it by being slightly stronger. Still, he tends to get beat up a lot.

- Knock Out's powers must always remain in balance. If he imbues someone with too much energy or withdraws too much energy from someone, he'll collapse either from exhaustion or an energy overload.

- Some time ago, Starscream attempted to murder Megatron by draining the oxygen from his lungs. Let's just say he was punished quite severely and has never attempted anything so bold since.

- No one can confirm whether Soundwave is telepathic or not. He just always seems to know things he shouldn't...

- It's not uncommon for Wheeljack to accidentally blow something up when he's excited. Needless to say, everyone at the Autobot base has had to take cover many times (Optimus and Ultra Magnus have scolded Wheeljack on numerous occasions).

- Smokescreen likes to think he's invincible as a result of his powers. His arrogance has nearly cost him his life.

- Alpha Trion was the last champion of Primus. Optimus (Orion at the time) was shocked when he was chosen as the next champion after Alpha Trion's death (after all, he was just a librarian).

- Driven by jealousy, Megatron made a pact with Unicron when Orion became Optimus. As Unicron's champion, Megatron swore to destroy Optimus and seize control of the world in Unicron's name.

- Arcee has lost two close friends to the Decepticons and subsequently has a deep-seated need to protect her teammates; she'll use her force fields to protect them before thinking of her own safety.

- Bumblebee's throat was slashed open by one of Megatron's energy beams, leaving him mute and with a thick scar, which he tries to hide with turtlenecks and collars. Sometimes he remains at bee size just so no one sees him.

- Bulkhead and Wheeljack were a superhero duo together before they met the Autobots. Bulkhead chose to join them despite Wheeljack's protests. It took some time for Wheeljack to finally join, too, though Bulkhead was overjoyed when he did.

- Airachnid was the first villain Arcee ever faced. Though Airachnid managed to kill Arcee's friend, Tailgate, Arcee still beat her in the end, and Airachnid ended up in prison for years. When the Decepticons broke her out and offered her a place in their ranks, she gladly accepted as a means to get back at Arcee, who was now an Autobot.

- Shockwave's actually pretty neutral to the whole Autobot and Decepticon conflict; he just sticks with the Cons because they support his unethical research.

The Lost Light Crew:

Well, they are all romantic towards Rose (Except for Comet, Ultra Magnus isn't zir adoptive father in this one.)

Rodimus: An actual regular Yandere

Megatron: Regular Yandere

Ultra Magnus/Minimus Ambus: Strict Yandere in the sense of being the voice of reason, will attempt to talk to the others from from doing something bad.

Chromedome/Rewind: The Pair of them are Different kind of Yandere's, Rewind being a stalker/soft yandere and Chromedome he's manipulative and will use his Mnmeosurgery as a means to manipulate Rose.

Swerve: A Friendly One, although its a front and is violent.

Brainstorm: A possessive and sadistic yandere.

Whirl: Very fucking violent, not joking he will murder.

Fortress Maximus: He can be soft and kind, but if a Decepticon ever harms Rose he can kill.

Skids: Due to his memory issues there will be gaps inbetween where he shifts from being a soft yandere or a violent yandere.

Tailgate/Cyclonus: Tailgate is a Soft Yandere but can be a regular yandere, Cyclonus is a sadistic overprotective yandere.

Rung: Soft Yandere. Can get violent if pushed.

Drift/Ratchet: Drift believes in Violence if its necessary, as such, he will kill for those he loves, Ratchet isn't so subtle, he will kill.

Perceptor: He's similar to Brainstorm

Nautica: Overpossessive overattached yandere.

Velocity: She's a soft yandere, won't kill unless provoked.

Red Alert: Paranoid yandere, overprotective and will absolutely go insane.

Getaway: He's an overpossessive yandere.

More Than Meets the Eye #32 - Nobody’s Ever Actually Dead in Comic Books

Our band of merry guys-who-weren’t-on-the-Lost-Light-in-issue-#1 approach the shattered husk of the Lost Light, in a gruesome scene that is only slightly marred by the graphic design.

Font doesn’t really suggest danger, does it? Here, for comparison, is something I slapped together in fifteen minutes (including recreation of background) using a font I got off a free font site.

Now, one could say that my version is rather derivative, flat, and arguably cliche, but you know what else it is? Appropriate for the fucking mood of having found a destroyed, hemorrhaging ship after everyone you knew disappeared.

Theorizing that this is the ship that the Coffin Rodimus came from- remember that? It was a few issues ago- the gang flies in for a closer look. The ship blood is actually something called quantum foam, which allows for quantum space travel to happen. It’s not supposed to be outside of the quantum quills, but the ship’s pretty junked up, so it is.

Because the ship is so very full of holes, the gang can set down for repairs pretty easy. They land in Swerve’s, finding it in less-than-pristine condition. They also find evidence of Crosscut having gotten creative, as a poster for the play he was working on is hung up in the room. Considering he was still writing it when he disappeared, this might seem a bit odd. But then you remember that this is a ship from the future, and it stops being so odd.

Because this is a future ship, with evidence that Crosscut did some stuff, it stands to reason that, at some point, everyone is going to come back from being disappeared.

Just to die.

Which is a bummer, but one crisis at a time.

Megatron disembarks the Rod Pod, with Ravage following, and everyone is just a touch put off by the duo. Everyone but Nautica, who proceeds to commit a microaggression.

Nautica, that’s Soundwave’s father you’re petting like a common animal.

Ravage, angered by this over-familiarity, swats at her. Skids questions letting an active Decepticon roam around, but Megatron brushes off these concerns, saying that finding any still-living crew members is more important. With that, the search begins.

The gang splits up to look for clues, despite Riptide thinking this is a horrible idea. They’re on the clock for this one- the quantum foam is liable to explode if it touches anything, and there’s an awful lot of the stuff floating around right now.

Nightbeat and Nautica leave the rest of the group to their own work, seeing as Nautica has the most appropriate alt-mode for traversing the gaps in the ship.

Man, that’s pretty cool. Wish Nautica hadn’t been regulated to being “girl best friend” for her character arcs, I would have loved to see her do some neat stuff for her own development. Guess that’s what happens when you get introduced as main cast late, and have to compete with all the faves who had dozens of issues to be established and who also don’t have to deal with the whole “token girl character” thing.

The rest of the gang- Megatron, Ravage, Riptide, Skids, and Getaway- start looking in the area they’re already in. Seems a little lopsided, but whatever.

Ravage finds someone almost immediately, identifying Ultra Magnus through smell alone. Only, it isn’t just Ultra Magnus.

The Magnus armor lays not terribly far away, having had its hands cut off to prevent the recall signal from being activated before being gut-murdered.

Gut-murdered wiTH A FUSION CANNON, MEGATRON

Of course, Megatron was forced to destroy his fusion canon after it was decided he would be joining the Lost Light, but you can buy these things off the black market like it’s nothing. Hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if Brainstorm had a few stashed in his lab.

As it currently stands, nobody can trust the guy who has a storied past of killing Autobots, on a future ship where the only folks who could stop him are dead. Megatron, at least, has the good sense to not argue this fact, and suggests that the boys lock both Ravage and himself up until they suss out exactly what happened.

Meanwhile, over with Nautica and Nightbeat, we run through all the weird shit that’s happened in the last day or so.

Nautica, you’ve been on this ship for months now. How did you miss the fact that the only couple within 800 miles got annihilated by way of Phase Sixer? I feel like that attack might have come up at some point.

Since they’re on the subject of spouses, Nightbeat asks Nautica if she’s married, or if she has friends. Though noting that such a direct line of questioning might get him slapped with someone else, Nautica reveals that she is single, though she does have a best friend. Nightbeat is also single, probably because he pulls shit like this.

While this conversation is going on, Nautica uses her Sonic Screwdriver wrench to open a door with the literal push of a button. Brainstorm tricked out her wrench so hard it turned into a magic wand, which is good, because they’re going to need all the help they can get now that space is literally warping around them thanks to the quantum foam.

Nautica kicks something on the elevator, and that something turns out to be Brainstorm’s mysterious briefcase. Too bad Swerve is gone, he was so invested in what it contained. Luckily, Nightbeat is just as interested.

Back over on the other side of the ship, it seems as though Megatron kept his word about not resisting, as both he and Ravage have been locked in a cabinet. Wonder how that’s going for them.

Oh, better than I expected.

Ravage is fucking pissed that Megatron joined the Autobots, thereby turning his back on everyone who supported his cause during the last four million years. Despite this grievous betrayal though, the Decepticons haven’t stopped moving. Turns out, Galvatron’s in charge now.

But only if Autobot Megatron isn’t some sort of ploy.

It’s at this point that we learn just why Ravage is here to begin with- to see if Megatron’s truly given up the Decepticons, and if he has, to murder him. But first he’d like to know why this is happening.

Megatron views himself as a monster, having perpetuated a war that ended the lives of billions, destroyed the Cybertronian way of life, ostracized his race from the rest of the universe, and killing just to have something to do. He doesn’t like feeling this way about himself, so he decided to walk away from that life by joining the other team.

Don’t think it’s quite that easy to do, but okay.

Ravage isn’t so sure that this change of heart is going to stick, still convinced that Megatron will snap back to his old self with just a bit more time. Problem is, Megatron may not have a ton of that resource left.

Didn’t they build that body in like an hour so you wouldn’t die? Yeah, no wonder it feels as ill-fitting as a twenty-dollar suit. Thing’s probably made out of pig iron and duct tape.

The lights come on before further self-reflection can be done, and the duo realize that they’ve had guests this whole time.

Someone put the kettle on.

Obviously some fucked up shit happened on this ship. Megatron isn’t so sure that it’s him who did these dirty deeds, however, as he reaches into Ratchet’s mouth and pulls out his brain. Which feels like something that doesn’t really absolve one of guilt, but okay.

Also, ew.

Back with Nautica and Nightbeat, things are getting weird.

Now, this sequence might seem confusing at first blush, but this is because the laws of reality are collapsing around them. Going by clues in the background, we can find the proper, linear progression of time, and thus is conversation. This is what is actually happening:

With the mystery of Brainstorm’s briefcase eluding us once again, we move on to see more graphic aftermaths of violence. Poor Tailgate has been nailed to the wall with a chunk of a metal beam that’s almost as big as he is. The mood lighting for this scene is gorgeous, but I’ve hit my limit for exposing y’all to gore for this issue, so you’ll just have to trust me on this one. Then they find something even more interesting.

Who’s ready for Under Cold Blue Stars… 2!

Back over on the opposite side of the ship, Riptide’s found something nasty. It’s a bunch of dead bodies!

Including, uh, Pipes.

Who already died a while ago.

Hm.

All the bodies in this room are in their alts, and it looks like they’ve all been shot and drilled into, for some reason. Skids brings up that he had a friend who could identify the placement of any robot’s brain module just by knowing what they turned into. Then he reaches into a corpse to see what the drill-hole’s all about. It makes him sick, though maybe not for the reason you might think. He gets on the phone with Nightbeat, who’s called to tell them that they’ve found Overlord.

Still locked in his weird body harness.

And decapitated.

Megatron is on the other line, calling because he’s figured out the same thing Skids has. Someone paid a visit to this ship. Someone nasty.

The gang regroups, and Nautica gets the basics on the DJD, because I guess nobody’s mentioned them even in passing in the last six months, either.

God, what do they even talk about on this ship? Certainly not their feelings.

The reason that one room was filled with alt-modes was because of Tarn’s addiction to transforming; t-cogs are easier to remove when they’ve been used recently.

We get a quick 4/5ths-page gore-fest, then it’s back to making it all about Megatron.

Maybe you should have thought about that before you FUCKING DEFECTED, YOU POOL NOODLE.

Nightbeat’s beginning to put two and two together. There’s an Overlord in the basement. That shouldn’t be, because Overlord got exploded by Chromedome when he mercy-killed Rewind. Something is off about the past of this ship.

Before he can establish his MTMTE everybody-lives-but-then-dies AU though, the quantum foam fucks with the ship. These sons of guns need to get the hell out of here, pronto.

Oh god, what now?

Ravage smells someone inside the Magnus armor, someone who isn’t a part of the usual nesting doll lineup. Megatron reaches into the Crackerjack box and pulls out one hell of a prize.

Transformers Prime

Oooooo!

The first character I first fell in love with: I first watched the show back in 2011 so it's really hard to recall for sure whom was the first, I think it might've been Megatron though.

The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Arcee. Back when I was watching the show in the early 2010s I really didn't care for her. But her entire character arc-especially the trauma aspect of it all-really stuck out to me as an adult.

Also Ratchet, adore him way more now than I did back then too.

The character everyone else loves that I don’t: Optimus Prime. Maybe he's not as popular as I think he is, but both back then and still today I see a fair share of people praising this version of Optimus. For me, he's one of my least favorite Optimuses. The short version of why is that I find him to a boring cardboard cutout of Optimuses prior and his advice to Arcee doesn't sit well with me.

The character I love that everyone else hates: Probably Airachnid, although "like" is more accurate. I thought that she was a creepy, dangerous antagonist and things like her killing Tailgate and Decepeticon teammate Breakdown solidified what her role was in the story: a threatening rogue Decepticon. Still doesn't make her likeable per say and I am still disappointed how her danger/creepy factor seemed to diminish over the course of the series (or at least it wasn't as strong like in her debut episode).

The character I used to love but don’t any longer: Megatron. I'll give him credit for the clever plans he has, but I recall liking him a lot more when I was younger than I do now, where my feelings towards him are indifferent/neutral.

The character I would totally smooch: Arcee needs a kiss on the cheek. And hugs. And therapy.

The character I’d want to be like: I strive to have that kind of courage and persistence to keep fighting despite the internal struggles like Arcee does.

The character I’d slap: Silas, but he's dead now so I guess maybe I don't need to. Maybe just for good measure anyway...

A pairing that I love: Cliffjumper x Arcee, Breakdown x Knockout, and Optimus Prime x Ratchet.

A pairing that I despise: There's quite a few, but the big ones for me are Optimus Prime x Smokescreen, Airachnid x Arcee, Megop, and Megastar.

I don't like Optimus x Bumblebee either, but unlike that ship Optimus Prime x Smokescreen was a ship I used to like when I was younger (like, 13 or 14 I think). It didn't take long for me to make some realizations and have a change of perspective. Nowadays the ship brings bad flashbacks to my younger self and makes me cringe. And yes, everyone is allowed to make fun of and criticize younger me for liking this pairing (in hindsight, I kinda wish someone did so at the time).

Considering that Airachnid is a largely responsible for the trauma Arcee has and the way I've come to love Arcee in recent years, you can probably guess why Airachnid x Arcee doesn't sit well with me.

TFP Megop is the other Megop pairing that I've soured to over the years. You can blame shitty fanfics and bad takes I read in the past for making me lose interest in this pairing.

There's only a couple versions of Megastar I can like to some extent, but TFP is one of two that activates my fight or flight. I'm sure fans have come up with good AUs for this ship and ways to write about their relationship turning for the better, but 1.) I am just as suspect of Megastar fans as I am of Megop fans and 2.) the bad relationship Megatron and Starscream have in canon negatively impacts my views on TFP Megastar. And when that happens, that means I’m less willing to consider getting invested in AU ideas.

All That Is Here Is Your Own (working title): Green Knight AU. Orion Pax is going to go get killed by the Champion of the Arena for the sake of his honour, if he has any honour left after he gets out of this honey trap that Megatron and Starscream have built for him. Secretly an excuse to make Megatron, Starscream and Orion Pax pick myths to associate themselves with. Starscream picks the binding of Loki Liege Maximo, which I'm sure doesn't mean anything.

peace is a dead rat: Lesser Evil sequel. Backed into a corner by the Galactic Council, Megatron and Optimus resign from Cybertron's new government. Megatron sits in a chair for several months. Optimus occupies himself by trying to fix Megatron. Soundwave refuses to help.

the fragging problem: Whirl's "interfacing aids" didn't make it on board the Lost Light. That wouldn't normally be a crisis, but - I don't know if you know this - Whirl doesn't have hands. And all his so-called friends are being remarkably unhelpful.

unnamed denial kink pwp: same series as Law of the Peacemakers and Repayment in Kind. Optimus and Megatron do another extended denial kink scene. Starscream's presence makes everything immeasurably betterworse.

Bulkhead is an earthbender that also knows hand-to-hand combat born in the Earthen Kingdoms.

Cliffjumper was an earthbender that grew up with Arcee and Bulkhead in the Earthen Kingdoms.

Tailgate is a non-bender that was Arcee’s older brother.

Wheeljack is an earthbender and Bulkhead’s younger brother.

Smokescreen is a firebender that openly rebels against the Fire Nation.

Starscream is the last air nomad and he was frozen in ice for 15 years (instead of 100) by the previous avatar aka Star’s best friend and fellow airbender, Skyfire, who drowned to save Star.

Avatar Skyfire gave his life to save Starscream’s life.

Starscream was freed from the ice by Firelord Megatron and Star had lost his memory.

Firelord Megatron tricked Starscream into thinking the waterbenders destroyed the airbenders and not the firebenders.

Firelord Megatron trains Starscream to capture the Avatar Optimus.

Soundwave is a firebender prodigy that specializes in lightningbending and Firelord Megatron’s second in command.

Shockwave is a firebender scientist that created many weapons and machines for the war.

Knockout is a non-bender doctor that has fighting skills with crossbows as well as daggers born in the Fire Nation.

He quickly packed whatever he could while Rodimus lay unconscious.

He knows if Rodimus was awake he'd be protesting the idea of leaving. The Lost Light was his home but it won't be for long.

Hearing pounding on the door he froze his spark pounding in his chest as he was reminded of a time long ago. He couldn't protect Rodimus then but he could protect him now.

He wasn't going to let them hurt his bitty. He finished packing and grabbed an old invention he'd made.

After losing Hot Rod he worked tirelessly to create something that would protect those like him, in case anyone found out their secret. He would never let another carrier suffer the way he had. Not if he could help it.

He could hear Drift and Ratchet outside the door demanding to be let in and talk. He felt rage bubble up inside of him because they couldn't leave Rodimus alone. He told them to stop and they didn't listen and now he was in danger because of them.

He blocked both of them refusing to answer their calls. They could get fragged for all he cared. It was because of them that his bitty was losing his home. It was because of their actions that Rodimus and their sparkling were in danger. No wonder he didn't trust them enough to tell them his secret.

When he got a call from Brainstorm. He immediately answered it having a feeling it was important and he felt his spark drop when Brainstorm told him the bad news. The people on monitor duty had seen the whole thing.

They knew Rodimus was sparked and were telling everyone. A crowd was already forming in order to capture them. Ultra Magnus and Megatron were trying their best to hold everyone back but they didn't have a lot of time.

Outside he could hear Drift pull out his swords but they wouldn't work. He'd built those doors to keep Overlord and the entire DJD out. He was not going to bust inside and hurt his bitty more than he already has.

"I have to go. People are trying to get into the lab because they think you're here. Don't worry I'll make them pay for trying to hurt you. Also someone has already been sent to help you two escape. I'll try to meet you at the hanger, but if I can't... I want you to know that I've always loved you and I always will no matter what and that you two better stay safe out there."

He felt tears in his optics and he nodded even though Brainstorm couldn't see him.

"I love you too."

"Now go protect your bitty."

Brainstorm hung up and he grabbed Rodimus while, Drift and Ratchet continued demanding to be let in wanting to talk.

"Get fragged!"

He shouted in anger wishing he could punch them again because once clearly wasn't enough. Neither of them liked that answer and he could hear Ratchet trying to use medical override codes which also weren't going to work.

He held his invention in hand as he slowly walked towards the door ready to use it on them when he heard a loud clang and then Cyclonus voice.

"Are you two okay?"

Brainstorm told us what happened and we're here to help."

He sighed in relief and opened the door to see Ratchet and Drift unconscious. Whirl looked unapologetic as he stood over them having been the one to knock them unconscious.

Tailgate gave Rodimus a worried look.

"Is he okay?"

"Physically yes but emotionally he's a mess. I had to knock him out because he was overtaxing his systems. This isn't easy for him and I know Rodimus is going to be struggling for a while."

All four of them gave Drift and Ratchet an angry look for ruining his life. The only thing holding Whirl back from killing them is that Tailgate would be upset.

They could hear shouting down the hallway and Tailgate grabbed his hand. Whirl protected them from the front and Cyclonus from the back as they quickly made it through the hallways.

Every time they passed a camera Whirl would destroy it since the people on monitor duty had been the one to tell everyone.

If they ran into someone in the hall Whirl or Cyclonus would quickly deal with them. Whirl was a lot less gentle and wanted them to suffer for a while.

"Hurry! They're gaining on us!"

They took a few more turns and made it to the hanger which was locked.

He gave it a panicked look when Tailgate reassured him.

"Megatron input an override code locking it for everyone except us."

He nodded pulling Rodimus closer as Cyclonus opened the door.

"Over there."

He pointed at a shuttle and Tailgate opened the door. He climbed inside looking at them for what might be the last time.

"Thank you for this. You have no idea how much it means to us."

"Of course."

Whirl nodded giving him the wrecker salute which he returned.

Going into the ship he wasted no time getting it started. He heard the hanger door explode as some of the crew rushed inside to stop them from leaving including Ratchet and Drift.

Which made him sick feel sick. Even though those people were planning on killing their sparkling and doing things he couldn't imagine to Rodimus they were choosing to help them.

They tried to stop him from taking off but it was too late. He took off leaving the Lost Light behind as they entered hyperspace.

Once they were finally safe he sighed in relief and went to check on Rodimus who should be waking up by now.

He walked into the bedroom where he'd quickly deposited him before going to the controls. When he got there he was just in time to see Rodimus wake up.

He looked around the familiar room. Still disoriented from the drugs when he realized they were no longer on the Lost Light. Tears entered his optics and he rushed to his side giving him a sad look.

"I'm so sorry Rodimus. They found out and they were after us."

His bitty sobbed and he held him for a long time.

"Brainstorm, Whirl, Tailgate, Cyclonus, Megatron and Ultra Magnus helped us escape. We couldn't have done it without them."

Rodimus nodded still looking sad. Especially when he noticed Drift and Ratchet weren't on the list. He thought about telling him that Drift and Ratchet were helping the people who wanted to hurt him and his bitty, but decided against it at least for now.

He deserved to know what kind of monsters they were. Nut he knew it would break his spark and he'd already gone through enough for one day.

"I thought maybe they were different... Maybe we could be different but I was wrong."

He wrapped his arms around his belly as more tears fell and he felt his spark break. He wished things could have been different. He never wanted Rodimus to live in fear. All he wanted was for his sparkling to be happy. He never wanted him to go through the same fate he did and yet here they were.

"I'm sorry Rodimus. I wish there was more that I could do."

Rodimus nodded asking if he could be alone for a while. He was reluctant to leave him when he was obviously still upset, but he knew Rodimus needed time to process everything.

His whole world had just come crumbling around him and now he had to pick up the pieces. He forced himself to leave and go to the bridge. Sitting down heavily he stared out the window wishing things could be different.

OH SO MANY OH SO MUCH(in reference to this AU I goofed about)

You had woken up in the desert with no memory of how you got there. At first you panicked, looking around, distraught and wondering so frantically why the Lost Light would abandon you wherever you were. Your brain then caught up with itself, lagging behind from zipping through time and space and consciousness. You’d opened a new file and were exploring a new universe.

Your hike through the desert led you to a mountain, where you leaned against it for shade. As if by some miracle, the side of it opened up as loud cars approached from the distance. You ducked down as they drove inside and before the passage could close, you dove inside. What compelled you to do that? Who knows, but it sent you bumping right into the leg of a white and red cybertronian, with several others and a few humans staring right at you.

“Ratchet?” 

The mech spuutered.“How did you know m-” He looked at the others in disbelief. “Who are you!?”“Right. You don’t me. I-” You looked at him. “Sorry, you just... look so different. I’m (y/n). You don’t know me but... in another universe we’re friends.”

It was as good as an introduction as you were going for this time around. Next time around, you might see what happens when you don’t let anyone in on your status as a universal constant. 

You ended up telling them about each of themselves in the alternate reality. They all sat around you as you drew their alternative selves and talked about their lives.

“Bumblebee. Well, right now you’re dead. But like, not really dead. Starscream can still see you, but everyone thinks he’s just lost his mind. You two are friends, relax relax. He was also temporarily the ruler of Cybertron and didn’t actually do the worst job. No yeah, he’s probably exactly like the Starscream you’re thinking of. Starscreams tend to come in only a few flavors. But anyways, you got Megatron to bite the bullet and end the war. You still might in this life. No I won’t elaborate.”

“Bulkhead, I don’t actually know too much about you in that universe, I’ll be honest. You’re a lot younger and a wrecker. You’re actually teammates with someone Bumblebee will meet much later in this life. In  another world though, you were an artist, a kind soul, very friendly. I think you’re kind of the ‘main’ Bulkhead, though. Yeha, multiverses are confusing, I know.”

As you get to Arcee it becomes less of just repeating what you’d heard to something more personal. You’d actually known the Arcee from your universe.

“Arcee... You’re old. You’re really old, like you were a gladiator when The 13 were alive. You used to go by a male identity much like your twin brother, Galvatron, but transitioned with what you thought would be the help of a scientist named Jhiaxus. He took advantage of you being in his care to do some awful things. You spent a long, long time a war machine, hellbent on razing your way through cities and mechs just to kill Jhiaxus. You eventually find a team, friends, and a lover named Aileron. You teach history at a school for young cybertronians and humans on earth.”

Arcee, though she was having a hell of a time processing it, stopped you.“Is-” She asked gravely. “What heppens to Cliffjumper? Or... Or Tailgate?”You smiled knowingly.“Cliffjumper he... Well, for him in particular I don’t know. You don’t really know him either, and you certainly don’t know Tailgate but. He’s happy. He’s been though a lot, but he’s alive and he’s happy. Him and his conjunx, Cyclonus.”

When you got to Ratchet, you gave yourself a moment.

“You were a doctor in the Dead End of Polyhex. When the war started, you quickly became the chief medical officer, and a legendary medic. You had a... thing, with a colleague, and he’d go on to obsess over you for millions of years. You were one of the first autobots on earth, and one of the first to befriend humans. After the war, you joined a ship, and when your body began to fail, you met someone named Drift. Only, it hadn’t been the first time you’d met. He was an ex-con who’s life you’d saved before the war. You two ended up spending a long life together. On that ship together with your friends you survived the decepticon justice division, time travel, your serial killer ex boyfriend, alternate timelines, fake afterlives, exile, a coup, a massacre, er- two, and you even became a close friend and colleague to Primus himself.”

There was a twinkle in your eye and you smiled to his shocked face. 

“You survived this AND being married to Drift.”
