im usually not one to complain about anachronisms in fiction, like, you do you, whatever. but. i recently read a house md fic where he ordered delivery from mcdonalds?? and fuck that fully took me out of the story. like. early 00s you were lucky if your favourite restaurant did deliveries. most of the time you still had to pick it up yourself. you couldnt just order online wherever you wanted. and sure as fuck not from mcdonalds.
