˚。✮ Yandere! Darth Vader {Anakin Skywalker} x Apprentice Reader
˚。✮ Bad, bad news, One of us is gonna lose I'm the powder, you're the fuse, Just add some friction, You are my strange addiction
˚。✮ We've talked about Yandere! Anakin Skywalker falling for Padawan! Reader... But what about Vader falling for his acolyte/apprentice?
Tumblr media
⋆˚☆˖°⋆。° ✮˖ ࣪ ★⋆.˚
Vader isn't nurturing.
It feels almost sacrilegious to entertain the thought.
That's why it's so troubling when the galactic empire's staff take note of a smaller morbid figure trailing after the ebony monstrosity.
I can see there being many interesting scenarios in which Vader would pick an acolyte. The most heartwrenching and particularly curious case would be if his acolyte used to also be Anakin Skywalker's Padawan.
˚。✮ Imagine Vader searching for you across the galaxy. He feels your force signature reverberating inside him, calls out to it, tries to bind and morph it. A sardonic love letter he pens with rage and perplexion. Still, you always slip away. He keeps your hunt a secret, some ancient wound that's never healed right. The swing of your saber still haunts him, your satisfied grin as you land a blow on him. The force works in mysterious ways and Vader's desperation can't fully be reasoned. He's given up everything that Anakin once had. Forgone to an almost spiritual level. But you are the one pesky thing that still lingers. He likes to think that it's because he knows your true power. That you're a threat as long as you live.
˚。✮ Imagine Vader finally, finally finding you. Mesmerized by how much you've grown. You're rugged, wild. Some strange creature wearing the skin of the girl he once loved. You don't hesitate to attack, and Vader signs it off as a blessing. He needs a reason to hurt you, to drag you back kicking and screaming. He needs an excuse to push his fury between your bones and drown you in his sorrows. He needs revenge in the worst way.
˚。✮ Imagine Vader winning because of course he does. He leaves you bruised and broken, bleeding on the soft grassy ground. Your eyes are so beautiful when they're filled with terror. Your voice melodic as you scream in agony as his saber severs your leg and arm. Vengeance, Vengeance, Vengeance. You left him, left him to face Obi-wan alone, left him to be mutilated and disfigured.
˚。✮ Imagine Vader only coming to terms with who he is, and what he is as he's watching the medical droids repair your body. He can never escape Anakin, cause that's who he still is. Anakin hasn't died just grown. He's no longer the kid with a schoolboy crush on his pupil and supernovas under his tongue. He's swallowed the burning stars, let their fires and explosions paint him in shades darker than the nights on Tatooine. He runs a cybernetic hand across your head, feeling you for the first time in forever.
˚。✮ Imagine Vader training you once more. It's been months since your capture, months of brutal and tender torture. He's ripped you apart and rearranged you so meticulously. Picking favored parts to hem and sew with a buzzing red needle and dark doctrines. Only when Vader notes the red-rimmed golden shift flicker across your eyes does he know he's truly won. Your connection to the light is nearly completely severed. Your past is left to rot on the green planet. What stares back at him from the corners of the dark, damp cell is a creature forged of hate and malice. A sith in every way.
˚。✮ Imagine Vader only ever happy when he's with you. He's finally free to train you as he pleases, to touch you as he pleases, to kiss you as he pleases. He's taken you to ice worlds to bleed kyber crystals and to Mustafar to forge your new armor. He kisses you on a battlefield littered with the corpses of dead resistance soldiers. Metal clancks against metal all wretched sinister love. You're beginning to love this new master, he's everything Anakin had repressed, he's everything you have always feared. But the thing you must realize about fickle fears is that once you fall in love with them, you begin to lose yourself.
˚。✮ Imagine Pulling up Vader's mask and kissing the burns across his face. Your kisses are laced with such passion and hate he feels like he's drowning in lava once more. He's brutal in the way he handles you, each touch leaving a plethora of bruises, singing I love you. You like the way each training session starts with a deep all-consuming kiss and ends with him using the force to smash your head into the ground as you laugh and laugh. His force signature is different now, you like the way it slithers across your body, all fire and pain, all destruction. Love the pain that comes with him, this grisly bloody love affair that makes the stars shutter.
The staff of the galactic empire, Find the little midnight creature all too bizarre.
She trails after their commander with vicious playful skips and plays uno with their lives. She twirls around the galaxy's most feared as if she's playing hopscotch.
The staff of the galactic empire doesn't know whether to feel pity or terror...
Tumblr media
I think about how at the beginning of being Vader, Anakin was so quick to reject who he once was. Trying desperately to kill off any semblance of Anakin. But by the time of the Original Trilogy, he's sort of come to terms with who he is and who he once was. Anakin isn't really dead he's just grown stronger now, and in a strange way, he even seems to embrace his past as a Jedi, wearing it as - a not so obvious- badge of pride.

Daniel's power isn't less interesting than Max's
I think telekinesis is a really fitting story element for Life is Strange 2 because, unlike Max, who’s a young adult with a somewhat clear sense of self and purpose with her own powers, Daniel is still a child figuring out what he wants to do and what he’s capable of. His power is so simple yet unpredictable in nature, so the uncertainty of his future stands out even more to the player, prompting them to guide Daniel and help him find his place in the world with his newfound abilities. Let me elaborate.
Tumblr media
Just like a child can master a range of skills—from learning new languages to playing musical instruments, or excelling in any possible sport—Daniel’s power is ridiculously versatile and it allows him to handle various tasks and challenges in countless ways: he can attack, defend, build, destroy, bend, steer, fly things around, exert control over someone's body, manipulate his environment and even perform intricate tasks like crafting or repairing. It's a power that can adapt to many situations, much like how children can grow into any role or talent they pursue. Children are born to be jacks of all trades.
In the first game, Max’s powers symbolized her struggles with insecurity and the desire to rectify past mistakes. She wanted to correct her every error, ultimately realizing that she can't and she just has to accept them like a responsible adult. In the second game, the power is a representation of a child's untapped potential and reflects the boundless possibilities of a child’s development, showing that with the right guidance, Daniel’s potential is as vast and adaptable as his power, allowing him to become anything he sets his mind to.
I really loved the part in episode 5 where Daniel used his power to build statues with Joan in Away. It's such a bittersweet moment that showcased his creativity and potential before the chaos that was about to unfold. It got me thinking that Daniel might even dream of becoming a constructor in the future. But ultimately, his path is his to forge and he has the freedom to shape his destiny however he chooses.

Firefly-Hotaru Haganezuka x Reader
Summary: You've arrived at the Swordsmith village. There you are desperately trying to find Haganezuka but he keeps avoiding you, since you broke your sword, soon you realize he's also been avoiding you for a different reason.
Tumblr media
It's been about two years and a half since I became a Hashira. In my time as one of the Pillars I came across many demons, good and bad, I would get injured a lot often than I would've liked to but it's part of the job. Though, not only I would take damage but my sword as well.
As soon as my sword would be broken I would have it repaired without question, though lately I got a very threatening letter from my swordsmith.
I clenched onto it and got weirded out by all the cussing and not so readable other letters if was spread across. I sighed and decided to take matters into my own hand, to go to the village myself.
Unfortunately I would not be able to head on my own since the village is hidden and I would have to be blindfolded and carried all the way there. God knows how long the trip was going to take.
"So, tell me who is your Swordsmith?!" The female Kakushi who was carrying me asked. We had been talking for a while.
"Mr Haganezuka! Thought I don't know if he'll want to make another sword for me."
At the mention of his name I felt the female Kakushi tense. "H-He's your Swordsmith?! I do hope he doesn't kill you."
"There's no way he'll kill someone like me!" I exclaim and held my cheeks and blushed. I began to remember the first and few times we had met up with each other, when I first became a Demon Slayer.
"(Y/N), your Swordsmith is here." My master the one who taught me all about slaying demons said picking me up from my room since I was resting since I was all bruised with a broken rib due to my training.
I quickly got myself up on my feet and met up with my master in the backyard garden and saw a tall man hiding his face.
"Mr. Haganezuka this is (Y/N). (Y/N), this is the man who from now on will forge your swords-"
"That depends is she won't be a brat and break my precios swords."
"Huh?" Both my Master and I hummed and were taken back when Haganezuka all of the sudden stared at us and pointed at me with his finger then at the sword.
I blushed under the man's gaze, unsure is he was indeed glaring at me. "This sword was made with the best minerals I could find closest to the sun and made with rich-"
Wow is this man dedicated at making swords, and telling how they're made in detail. "Great! So tell me what to do!" I clapped my hands together and realized we were alone since my Master probably went to fetch something for Haganezuka to eat.
"Grab it the sword. Depending on the color is reveals your sword will be strong or weak."
"I don't believe in such things since the Slayer must be the powerful one, sure the blade helps but-" I shut my mouth when I felt his eyes on me as if telling me to shut up.
I decided to not say anything further on and instead grabbed the sword and held it in my hands, it changed almost nothing, just a light silver colored almost white. I jumped up when Haganezuka let out a scream saying how dull and not interesting the color was.
"Haganezuka calm yourself down." My Master said not fazed by his sudden outburst.
That was the first time I had met him….
"So you're a Hashira now?" Haganezuka calmly said setting my new sword down and handing it to me.
I nodded my head smiling, "Yes, i didn't expect it to happen but it did. I fought a strong upper demon. I swore to protect those less stronger than me, besides, I just found out I have a cousin who just started his demon slaying practice."
"Congratulations. Though don't get so confident just because your a Hashira now." I watched Haganezuka unveil the new and beautiful sword.
I held it up and examined how beautifully it was made. "Though my fighting skills wouldn't have been impressive without your swords, this will surely scare the demons. Thank you Mr. Haganezuka."
I bowed my head and raised it back up and saw him staring at me through the odd mask, he said nothing.
"Though this'll be the last time I'll do it! This if the fourth swords I made and it can't get any better than this." He threatened.
I started to remember my Masters words and the one of the other Swordsmith. "Haganezuka is an awful temper, if things were to get out of hand, tickle his sides."
I hummed at the memory of those words but decided to say nothing and I smiled at him.
"And what are you smiling for?!"
"Oh nothing!" I sang.
I reached out and grabbed a bento I did with mitarashi dango since I've seen Haganezuka is a fan of it. "Here, I did these for you!"
I held out the box and saw Haganezuka open the box and examine it. "I've seen you always enjoy it, and don't want you leaving on an empty stomach."
I was taken back when I saw light bubbles coming from out of the mask. What the hell?? I commented against it and smiled.
"Why not eat just one here?!" I suggested wanting to see behind the mask. I carefully reached out and lifted the mask just a bit and I felt him gripping the wrist tightly, slowly not applying pressure.
"Quit it Hashira! if you know what's best for you, get working and quit minding other's business." Haganezuka huffed and started walking away.
The next time I had seen Haganezuka was when I was leaving for another mission and stumbled upon Tanjiro Kamado. I have heard from him before, Giyu was the one who informed me of him and his demon sister Nezuko.
They intrigued me especially since I had learned that they are my long distance cousins. I had written to Tanjiro once congratulating him when I learned he passed the exam.
When I was still a little girl I was adopted to a family, since my real parents were killed by demons trying to protect me and their village. I don't remember anything about them but I am grateful that I was adopted into a loving home. Unfortunately, they were also taken away from me. But now I'm happy to know that I have a bit of family left.
"Hello Tanjiro!" I exclaimed smiling at the dark red haired boy.
"(Y/N)! I received your letter. Thank you your words were if help!" I smiled at the boys enthusiasm.
"We only have each other left, might as well keep encouraging each other's work." I said giving him a thumbs up and I looked over and saw Haganezuka with another Swordsmith.
"Haganezuka!" I cheered and saw him flinch at my sudden shout. "Long time no see, I guess I'm always lucky that I run into you." I laughed and saw the man looking away from me and murmuring something at his partner.
Tanjiro looked at me then Haganezuka. "You both know each other?" He asked tilting his head.
"No"
"Yes we do!" I said ignoring Haganezuka's words as I blushed. "Anyway I have a long missions ahead of me. See you later." I gave a peace sign to Tanjiro and Haganezuka and started running off to my mission.
"I genuinely think he's a great and kind man despite being so loud and frightening at times." I recalled as the Kakushi continued to carry me.
"I do hope you are right, Miss (Y/N)." Anyways we are here."
The Kakushi placed me on my feet and I began to unwrap the bandage around my eyes and I stared in awe at the village in front of me.
"Wow it's so beautiful!" I gasped.
The Kakushi next to me chuckled and bowed her head. "Glad to know it exceeded your expectations. I hope for us to meet in the future once more."
"The pleasure has been all mine." I smiled and bowed my head as well.
I kept staring at everywhere the further I began to walk into the village. I saw many people working and kids playing around, I still wonder why they keep hyotokko masks on their faces. I started walking towards where I assume is the chiefs place, I walked up the stairs and was greeted by two men in masks and they took me in to see the chief.
I patiently waited for the man to speak when I saw knelt down on the tatami floor. "Miss (Y/N). I had been expecting you, young lady."
I hummed and bowed my head down the floor and greeted myself to him. "It's an honor to meet you Chief Tecchin!"
"My what manners and dedication. You remind me of the young boy that came earlier today."
"Boy?" I ask raising my head back up.
The man nodded his head, despite the small stature I could tell he is highly respected here and he looks sorta cute too.
"He had a green and black haori with hanafuda earrings."
So that means Tanjiro is here as well. "I assume you are here for Haganezuka am I correct?"
"Yes, sir. You see Tanjiro is my cousin and we both were assigned to Haganezuka. My sword broke easily this time though it was my fault for-"
"No. It wasn't your fault, he didn't forge a sword with his best intentions which is why it breaks easily." The man said in a serious voice. He suddenly got scary like Haganezuka.
"I-I don't think-"
"We'll give him a beating for not working correctly and denying to make a sword for a lady as yourself." The man next to the Chief said with the Chief eagerly nodding his head.
So scary.
"Where is he anyways?" I asked wanting to see Haganezuka.
"Hotaru has run off as of lately. Wanting to be alone as usual." The Chief told me.
"Hotaru? Is that his first name?" I ask intrigued to know a bit more about him.
"Mhm I picked it myself! Though Hotaru doesn't like his name saying it's to cute for a man like him."
"I think it's such a cute and lovely name." I blushed and held my face together. Firefly. That's what his name means. Though he surely isn't as fragile as one.
"Happy to know someone else agrees with me. I adopted the boy when he was just a child."
I sat just a bit closer paying attention to his words and finding myself wanting to see Hotaru again. So we have more in common that I thought. He also lost his parents like me.
"Did Hotaru lose his parents as well?"
The Chief stared at me and shook his head. "Nope. His parents couldn't keep up with his anger so I took him as my own."
Oh damn. My body froze since I didn't expect that.
"You did lose yours did you not? Do you have any memories of them?
I stared down at my lap and back at the Chief to show respect. "Unfortunately I don't have any memories of them. All that I know if that they protected the village they had been living and everyone was massacred by a demon, I believe it was Muzan Kibutsuji."
"You are (Y/N) (L/N) are you not? I remember your parents, they were a part of this village you see. Your father was born here and while trusting outside he met your mother, she agreed to move to the village with him but over time they left, you were born here (Y/N). That means that this is your home as well and you are welcome to stay for as long as you'd like."
I stared at the Chief surprised that he knew both my parents. A few years escaped from my eyes and I cleaned them with the sleeve of my haori and thanked the Chief to telling me all he knew about my parents.
"You are more than welcome to also enjoy of our hot springs. It can heal any wound or broken heart." The Chief sang and moved his hands around.
What does he mean by that?
"If Hotaru isn't seen in a day or two I'll be more than happy to assign a new swordsmith for you." The man said bowing his head. He's the one who made Shinobu's sword.
"I understand." I frowned not wanting to have a new person making my sword, but I have to put my feelings aside and be focused on my mission, to get a new sword done.
"Follow me." I bowed my head to chief Tecchin and followed one of masked men who was with him.
I silently started to follow him and noticed the sky was turning darker as well. "Do you wish to eat first or take a bath?"
"Bath is fine since I feel filthy." Though being in a bath while eating sounds like a great idea.
"Is there something bothering you?" I glanced at the masked man.
"It's about Hotaru isn't it?"
I flinched and froze when we stopped by a few stairs and I felt his eyes on me. "You're worried that a new swordsmith might not make your sword as you want to."
"..Right..of course." I breathed out thankful that he doesn't know the real reason.
"Well, the hot springs is just above the stairs. You're more than welcome to take your time and join us for dinner once you are finished." The man bowed his head and started to leave.
I heard a familiar caw and felt my crow land on my shoulder. "Might as well relax for a bit right" I asked and saw my crow flap it's wings when I began to climb up the stairs.
I felt like my legs were about to give up. I started to take my belt off along wiith my haori and began to unbutton my uniform when I heard another caw from my crow.
"Don't worry I won't take long, there's no one here anyways. You really are a hungry bird." I sighed glaring at the bird and beginning to undress myself completely until I was bare and submerged myself further into the hot waters.
"Food always tastes better while eating with someone else."
I nod along to Tanjiro's words. Right after taking a bath I arrived to meet up with Tanjiro and Nezuko. I hadn't realized that Mitsuri was here as well until Tanjiro told me about it, Shinazugawa's younger brother was also at the village.
"Indeed. So are you saying that you also came here for a sword?"
"Mr. Haganezuka seems to be avoiding me." Tanjiro pouted.
Glad to know I'm not the only one thinking about it. "Don't worry we can both go looking for him. I'm sure he isn't far off from the village."
I noticed Tanjiro's stare on me and looked at him surprised when I saw a blush on his face. "You've always spoken fond of Mr. Haganezuka. Is there maybe-"
"I just feel high admiration for his work! Nothing more!" I blushed as well and tried brushing the topic off.
Can't believe I'm having this conversation with someone younger than me. I continued to rambled on, "Besides as slayers we can't get close to people."
"I disagree!" Tanjiro exclaimed earning a hum from his sister. "That's what makes life beautiful as well, meeting new people and forming a close bond."
I smiled at Tanjiro and nodded once. "Seems like Kyojuro taught you well." I sadly said remembering my best friend.
"Tomorrow morning let's train and go out bets then." I gave him a thumbs up and earned a nod from him and Nezuko.
****"
The next morning Tanjiro and I met up with s boy from the village, Kotetsu, and the mist Hashira, Muichiro Tokito. As Hashira we have encountered with each other many times, but he doesn't seem to remember me that much or talk at all only when necessary.
Muichiro was aggressive and broke down the ancient doll the village boy had in his possession. The three of us fixed it up a bit and I let Tanjiro train with the doll since I had fought with it but was extremely hard.
The doll was designed after the first demon slayer. If fighting the doll was hard enough, I couldn't imagine fighting him in the flesh. I decided to stay with Tanjiro just for a bit, to cheer him on.
I made Tanjiro stand up straight in a certain position and hold the wooden katana he had right. The young masked boy gasped when Tanjiro was swept to it's feet and was knocked out. I was nearby going over back to Tanjiro when I heard a familiar voice.
Is that Hotaru?!
I began to quicken my pace and run over calling out his name. I noticed the young boy turn around looking at me in a panic and I saw Haganezuka's tall figure running fast away from us.
"Haganezuka! Come back here you coward." I shouted and stared at the direction he left and pouted.
I clenched my fists together and glared at where he left, also feeling a bit heartbroken that he didn't face me. I moved quickly to look at the masked boy, Kotetsu.
"You! Why didn't you say anything?!" The boy shrieked when he saw my cold expression.
"I-I don't know what you mean Hashira!" He shouted back.
"I lowered down a bit and glared at the boy and pointing at him, "I've told you my name is (Y/N)!"
The boy looked back at me and said nothing, "(Y/N)…right no wonder I've heard the name before. Mr. Haganezuka has spoken about you."
Tilting my head to the side I could notice Kotetsu muttering something to himself and a blush across the mask. Is everyone is this village weird?
"Good things I hope." I huffed and decided to go back and help Tanjiro up to his feet. "Anyways there's no time for me to be chasing that childish man, better help Tanjiro back up."
I helped Tanjiro up and gave him at least a sip of water since Kotetsu refused to give him any. "Ready to do this Tanjiro?"
My cousin Tanjiro was weak but he refused to give up. I gave him a thumbs up and watched Tanjiro begin to continue training.

Oh no Kai died!
So. I saw a post here on tumblr (I didn't save it :c) saying "what if kai died trying to provide for nya and she took his place in the series" and smth took over me and I drew this
More info below
So I took the premise of him dying and Nya taking his place but that's it, bc the og post said Nya would inherit his elemental power, but since Morro kept his being dead I'd imagine Kai could too.
So this changes a lot of stuff, in this au Kai "discovers" his elemtal powers early on, but they just manifest as being inmune to burns and fire which helps since this kid works at a forge.
One day he goes deep in the town to buy food, but there is an accident and a house is set on fire, he was just about to go home and ignore all the chaos when he hear someone still inside, against his better judgement he went in and helped knowing his resistance to fire. He saves the person trapped inside.. but instead of a 'thanks' the whole townspeople just go 'A witch!' since he didn't suffer any burns.. And you can imagine what happens next
Either way Kai does not arrive home, when Nya goes to town to ask where he is she is told he ran away by lady and that she should leave aswell (Quick tangent. The lady told Nya that to avoid explaining that they basically unalived her brother and so Nya doesn't get the same fate)
She moves away and years down the line she meets a nice old man saying he is looking for something special.
Okay so here goes the timeline from Nya's side all up until season 5:
• Pilot:
She works in a small shop doing repairs and is very agrressive towards Wu since instead of asking where are her parents he asked if she had any siblings, so yeah open wound. Anyway there is no kidnapping motivator here, the skeletons steal the map and destroy the only home she had, she goes with Wu in order to get revenge. He sees she is lost and in need of family so he trains her, everything goes about the same, Jay's line changes to inmediatly be "Do you like blue?", and she proceeds to ignore him since letting people in her life hasn't been an option in a long time (also here Wu assumed she must have the fire element). They get the weapons and Garmadon still tricks Nya with Kai's voice, when she arrives she is so mad she attempts to lift the sword to attack Garmadon, but she can't, seeing she has no use to him he sends some skeletons to attack, but apparently out of nowhere the sword lifts itself up and lands in Nya's hands (she was fighting the skeletons at that). From there Wu arrives, leaves, Garmadon is free all that stuff.
Nya wants to leave since she feels she failed since she is not the master of fire, but everyone just doesn't care and want her to still be part of the family. And so we go on to rise of the serpentine
• Rise of the Snakes:
Okay so here everything goes about the same, Samurai X is still Nya but it isn't a secret (she does this bc still feels like she can't be a ninja). Jay's true potencial happens bc he is like "I can't show you who I am becaussse you're ssso cool! I mean you are Sssamurai X and a Ninja!" which to she responds that she likes him as he is and even if she didn't he shouldn't change for others.
And the fangblades stuff is bc if Nya can't be tha master of fire, and samurai x isn't a ninja (she wants to but feels useless without an element) she might as well be the green one right?
She still saves Loyd over the fangblade, creating a dome of water from seemingly nowhere, unlocking her true potential as the master of water. And everything carries on the same
• Legacy of the Green Ninja & Rebooted:
Everything is pretty much the same.
Nya loses another brother
• Tournament of Elements:
All the ninja are split up like in the series with Nya doing vigilante stuff instead of fighting in an illegal fight club. Loyd attemps to reunite his family and everything goes about the same.
Skylor and Nya definetly flirted much to Jay's dissmay
Nya "betrays" Loyd just like Kai did with Nya in the series except Garmadon is left alone with the snake pet and Loyd is taken to the ritual. When Nya lifts the staff she does go a little power crazy, not for wanting to be the green ninja but bc she wants this power to protect her family.
Anyways season ends. RIP Garmadon
• Possesion:
All goes the same for the first 5 minutes. Then after fighting a possesed Loyd a ghost with fire in his hands arrives to the Bounty, asking- no, begging, for the Ninja to help him
Nya recognizes him and the world stops
Gonna do the Kai timeline in other post with Morro art :)

Wondering how Childe, Itto, Al-Haitham, and Kaveh would do if they had a blacksmith s/o who knew how to make hybrid weaponry (e.g. a whip rapier)?
✧ Oooh! I've always hoped they'd add more weapons buuut I don't think they will lol, these are kinda short i hope you dont mind ;w;
✧ characters: childe, itto, alhaitham, kaveh
Tumblr media
✧ Childe ✧
He loves it! Honestly, he had no idea that you were into blacksmithing. Of course, he wanted to see all your masterpieces and boy was he surprised.
His favorite had to be the hybrid gun. You can shoot people from a distance and use it in close quarters! This is like the perfect weapon for him!
He comes to you for any weapon repairs, suggestions, or whatever. You can also ask him about his opinions too, and he's got plenty of them.
What if- hear him out- you put a hammer... and a spear.. in one.
Ok, he's got some silly ideas, but you're always up for the challenge.
yes, he will absolutely always try out your new masterpieces.
✧ Itto ✧
Are you freaking serious?! Why didn't you tell him!? Itto spouts the fact that you're a blacksmith to the entirety of Inazuma!
This was good and bad because it did get you business... too much of it. You were definitely backed up with all the orders.
No worries, the Arataki gang is on your side! They... have no idea what the hell to do, but they're definitely helping! In whatever way they can.
Itto cannot shut up about all the fancy things you could make. You just laugh and add the idea in your sketchbook and in your free time, you add upon it.
The first weapon you finished that he suggested, you gave right to him. He loves it- shows it off to everyone.
His favorite weapon that you've made so far is the halberd! Yeah, he's used to his big ol claymore, but he definitely wants to try out the halberd.
✧ Alhaitham ✧
He was surprised! He had no clue you liked blacksmithing! Of course, since learning he always visits you to see if you come up with new creations.
You're pretty busy forging the usual items- swords, claymores, bows, etc., so you don't often have time for your own inventions.
However, when you do, you excel in all of them. By far, his favorite weapon you've made is a whip. You should him how to use it and all- he tells everyone he knows.
As he watches you come up with ideas and looks through your sketches, he can help come up with ideas.
One of his ideas was a dagger, but it was double-sided. You came up with ideas, forged it, and called it the haladie.
He loves the dagger, takes it everywhere and practices using it every single day.
✧ Kaveh ✧
Holy hell, he's so into it! The man may be an architect and not a blacksmith, but that doesn't mean he can't help with designing.
You're the master blacksmith, you know metals and weaponry. But Kaveh- he's who adds the beautiful touches to your weapons.
You made the claymore that he uses. However, Kaveh loves your more avant-garde weapons.
His favorite weapon has to be the urumi! It's part whip, part sword and you showed him how you best felt it could be used.
Kaveh loves the design and has practiced with it before, but he's a little scared because he did end up cutting his hand open because of it. He refused your apology, saying it was just a new weapon and wasn't your fault.
Though he can't use it, he still really likes it!

BG3 X farmers market booths
farmers market season is upon us and I am an avid faire/con/market goer. I loved the entire side quest in BG3 involving the traveling circus, and it got me thinking.... What kind of booth or show would each of the bg3 companions have?
There is only a few ways I could see the troupe actually agreeing to participate one is they are really low on funds and the other is an investigation. either works for these ideas.
Roland: He mentions that he has a big interest in making magical education more accessible to the masses so I feel that that would be a bit part of his booth. you know those booths at farmers markets that all sell secondhand books on rolling carts? I feel like that's the vibe. He has posters for magical workshops being hosted at Razmith and cozy chairs for people to sit around under and umbrella and read for a while.
Karalach/ Dammon: they decided to put their skills together and forge artisanal cloak pins and other fineries. its really helpful having someone who can heat the metals so quickly so dammon can craft quicker. Its not long that they have to eventually raise their prices because everyone at the faire wants one of their hair pins or spoon rings.
Astarion/ Scratch: He was offered a place in the kissing booth that he immediately turned down. Of course, his alternative idea was a blood drive. cheeky bastard. in the end he settled for animal handler. Believe it or not, once he no longer had to rely on animals as his food source he found he was quite good with them. He got the idea from constantly having to repair scratches ball, so he decided, with some help from Halsin, to make toys that cannot be destroyed no matter how tuff your pet. He also sells bandanas with tracking spells woven into them and treats that let your dog speak for an hour or two. Him and scratch make an adorable team, people commenting consistently on their matching hair and bandanas. He sells the most of anyone at the fair, followed closely by Halsin.
Halsin: Mans forgot that yall are here to make money. He decided make a booth for pollination education. He has a lepidopterarium for people who want to hold butterflies while he tells them the importance of local wildflowers. Everyone that visits the booth gets a seed bomb. when he was told he actually needed to sell something he settled on honey he harvested. He has to ask you what people mean when they say he's of "beekeeping age," and what "forest daddy" means.
Gale: Idk where this came from really, but I feel like he has a candle booth. but enchanted candles. hear me out. "this candle smells like the first warm day of the year, when the sun touches your skin for the first time in months," o, "this candles you can poor on your skin to heal a pulled muscle or burn," or "this candle influences your dreams and takes you where you want to go."
Blurg/Omeluum: Naturally, they have a mushroom booth. But not just mushrooms. Burg took one culinary class and decided he needed to open a food truck, but everything was mushrooms. fried mushroom poppers, mushroom tacos, balsamic mushroom skewers.. Omeluum is just happy to be able to be in public now with its partner.
My Tav (October): The plan to have a spider booth was shot down pretty quickly, so there needed to be a compromise. October decided to have a crochet booth with tons of different projects like blankets, stuffed animals, cowls etc. but they were all made by spiders. Pino was the only one present for the market and a few people wanted to hold her, though most moved along upon hearing the labour practices of Octs products.
Authors Note: I would love to write a second part to this, I just don't have the spoons at this moment. If you have anything else you'd like to see let me know!
Link to Master list (I do not have a gaming masterlist yet. Hopefully more to come!)

Gue'vesa and the T'au Empire—rules for Imperium Maledictum
Want to play a human under the T'au or have a T'au Patron for that matter? Well hey I've got you covered!
Plain text version under the cut
T’au Faction
Gue’vesa
“Once got an ork square in his head with this pulse rifle, that’s how I became Gue’vesa’ui. Technology. It saves us all in the end.” —Shas’gue’vesa’ui Edyth Yorscht
The Gue’vesa are found in regions of the galaxy where words of the Emperor ring the most hollow, and where swathes of guardsmen were sent yet never brought home. To those souls, the T’au Empire, their leaders, and their technology, ensure safety and reliability. Gue’vesa are often descended from lost regiments of the Imperial Guard; deployed far too quickly, to establish beachheads that could never hold, left stranded in hostile territories, saved by the T’au. They may not feel much difference between governance of the Imperium and that of the T’au, yet the heavy thumb of anxiety lingers should the Imperium see their treachery in full.
For the most part, Gue’vesa are absorbed into the Fire Caste of the T’au, human helpers serving as yet more bodies that can be thrown at a problem - for some Gue’vesa it is a continuation of the Imperial Guard duty they once left behind. However, humans may receive a place amongst other castes, should their T’au masters recognise their skill in other fields: those born on forge worlds or trained to repair their vehicles in the Astra Militarum may be given a place in the Earth Caste, Administratum officers and regimental quartermasters find places among the Water Caste, and Imperial Naval crew may serve the Air Caste as envoys and ground crews, as the Kor rarely set foot on any planet.
Few, if any, are granted a duty serving the Aun—Celestial Caste—for such a role carries its own heavy burden of responsibility within the T’au Empire. Gue’vesa serving the Ethereals may have been zealots of a faith that long since failed them, now tasked with preaching the Greater Good that saved them, on orders of the Ethereal Supreme and the Ethereal High Council to all other Gue’vesa.
Despite millenia of holding xenocidal doctrine, the Imperium has its uses even for those who have strayed, for their lives are no less expendable than those of the loyal. Within the Imperium, the Gue’vesa may not interact with the Imperium’s authorities in the same way as others, being distrusted at minimum, though most often outright viewed as traitors, for any influence of or loyalty to Xenos is heretical. By contrast, some few souls may see the Gue’vesa in a more positive light, an indicator that the technology of the T’au can prove useful, or at the very least that uniting forces can thwart a worse threat.
How did you become a Gue’vesa? Were you born from those guardsmen, isolated and running out of supplies, found by the T’au? Did you seek your own freedom from the brutality of the Imperium? Maybe it started with the sight of a swift death held off by a fire warrior rather than an Imperial guardsman. How do you see the Imperium — do you hold it in any particular regard, based on your time with the T’au? What of those who are more removed from the Imperium than you, do you regard them with any more empathy than those under the Emperor's light do? Maybe you see camaraderie among humans and Xenos as a path forward, together as a united force, or it could be that even the thought of it hits you with the same unease that is usually sent your way. Regardless of your origin or thoughts on the Imperium, you trust that despite its galactic dominance, you have a duty to further the Greater Good, a duty that their antiquated faith in a dead god cannot dull.
Gue’vesa Benefits
You gain +5 Fellowship, +5 to either Toughness, Ballistic Skill, or Intelligence
You have 5 Advances to spend on Tech, Ranged, Intuition, Dexterity, Lore, and Discipline.

Skill advances: Logic (2), Tech (1), Fortitude (2)
Equipment: A Drone, a Drone Controller, and a Fusion Torch
Kor’gue’vesa (Air Caste)
Your duty is to deploy where the Kor T’au do not, being sent down onto planet surfaces as an envoy or ground crew for the T’au Navy.
Characteristics: +5 Willpower, +5 Intelligence
Skill advances: Linguistics (2), Tech (1), Ranged (2)

Skill advances: Rapport (1), Linguistics (2), Discipline (2)
Equipment: Dataslate and a Writing Kit
Aun’gue’vesa (Celestial Caste)
Your Duty is to guide the others under the T’au Empire, a sovereignty among the ranks. T’au born Aun produce pheromones, giving them latent control over the other castes—while a Gue’vesa doesn’t have this, your true belief for the T’au Empire and all it stands for carries the same authority.
Characteristics: +5 Fellowship, +5 Intelligence
Skill advances: Linguistics (1), Lore (1), Logic (1), Rapport (2)
Equipment: Laud Hailer and a Micro-Bead
Talent — The Greater Good
Requirement: Can only be taken during character creation. You cannot have the Ignorance Is My Shield Talent.
The T’au Empire welcomes all species who don’t resist their expansion, for it serves the Greater Good. You gain +2 SL to any Test made to influence a member of the T’au Empire or +1 SL on Tests to influence Xenos.
T’au Technology
Gue’vesa are allowed a privilege few others are—access to pulse weapons created by the T’au. These weapons are not only deadly and reliable weapons, but a status of trust from the T’au Empire. Gue’vesa are to use what is given to them wisely and with care, for questions of their discipline and worthiness of service will be raised if they fail to do so.
Pulse Weapons
Examples: Pulse Pistol, Pulse Carbine
These weapons, while similar in some ways to the plasma weapons of the Imperium, are refined to the point of optimal functionality by the T’au. While usually seen in the hands of frontline Fire Warriors, they are often also entrusted to non-T’au auxiliaries, from Kroot to Gue’vesa.
Pulse weapons deal high damage and have the Penetrating Trait.
Tumblr media
Grenades, Missiles, and Explosives
Weapon Trait—Haywire
When you use a weapon with the Haywire Trait to target a Zone within range and make a single Ballistics Skill (Ordnance or Thrown) Test, depending on whether the weapon is a Launcher or a thrown Grenade. There is a major disruption to all technology within the target Zone for the next Round, any Tech Tests suffer a -20 penalty.
All characters in the target Zone must make an opposed Reflexes (Dodge) Test versus the result of your Test. If you win the Opposed Test, the characters that fail become Deafened, any Augments they have Haywire for a number of Rounds equal to the difference in SL. This means that some characters in the target Zone may be affected more than others.
EMP Grenade
EMP Grenades are specifically designed to send out an electromagnetic pulse, disrupting or outright frying circuitry to a point of disuse.
EMP grenades make the target Zone go Haywire. If deployed successfully, any vulnerable electronics—dataslates, machinery, even augments—are momentarily disabled. This duration can be extended or shortened depending on the individual electronics, an eye augment may return to use before that of a console for example.
Tumblr media
Weapon Modifications
Markerlight
A Markerlight is a laser used to pinpoint targets, giving its user an exact distance between the Markerlight and the target. Others (including the target) may notice an incredibly small blue dot, revealing the shooter’s presence should they know what this is.
While attached, a Markerlights user can make a Routine Ranged (+20) Test to mark the target for 1 round, any character making a ranged attack against the marked target gets +1 SL to the Ranged Attack Test. Targets can make an Opposed Dodge (Reflexes) Test to try and avoid the Markerlight.
Tumblr media
Exotic*—All these items are Exotic within the Imperium. To obtain new versions of these items you must make contact with T’au Envoys.
Tools
T’au Drone
Much like the Servo-Skulls of the Imperium, T’au Drones (Kor’vesa in the T’au language) fill a similar role with one key difference: unlike Servo-Skulls, made with the minds of loyal adepts forever in service to the Emperor, T’au Drones exclusively make use of artificial intelligence rather than to pick apart the remains of those who’ve passed; a trait that inspires revulsion by Imperial doctrine that deems an use of so-called “abominable intelligence” as a grave heresy.
These disk-shaped drones carry equipment or technologies such as sensors. Drones can even wield T’au weaponry, though Gue’vesa are rarely equipped with weapon drones.
Additional Rules: A Drone hovers at roughly a foot above eye level and unless instructed otherwise keeps near its operator. Each Drone has a specific ability as described below:
Illuminator: The Drone has a plasma-fueled capacitor within itself that it can reveal and diffuse through thick glass. This acts as a glow globe or stablight (see Imperium Maledictum page 148).
Surveillance: The Drone is equipped with a singular video recorder, being used to subtlety record the movements of anyone or anything within the area, transmitting recordings to its operator’s Drone Controller.
Utility: The Drone has a mix of tools to aid in mechanical tasks, which acts as a combi-tool (see Imperium Maledictum page 146) for a character at Immediate range.
The quality of drones can vary the abilities of any implanted devices,or can have other effects such as it hovering erratically or drifting away from the character at times. Greater designs might anticipate their user’s needs, or be able to carry out more complex commands.
Drone Controller
A Drone Controller is an electronic device used to control the T’au Drone. These controllers are usually attached to the pauldrons or helms of T’au armour and battlesuits, but may be modified for handheld use.
Fusion Torch
A Fusion Torch is a T’au tool used with an intense beam created via nuclear fusion, making a short-ranged, high-powered cutting tool that not even the thickest metals can hold out on.
A Fusion Torch can be used in combination with Tech (Engineering) Tests to cut through solid objects such as bulkheads, vault doors, or walkways.
T’au and the Gue’vesa
“There’s much out there the T’au have faced. Many here would fear to face those threats. The Imperium still has much to learn.” —Hans Al'Scoth, Aun’gue’vesa’vres
The T’au Empire sits comfortably within the Ultima Segmentum, yet after a T’au Fortress Station bestowed the name T’olku El'Myam'thun—the Skystrider of the T’olku Sept—fell into a warp storm it was left dazed by stars it hadn’t glimpsed before. Clueless to the true workings of the warp, the station now lies in the Macharian Sector of Segmentum Pacificus far to the West of where it originally set off.
In the Macharian Sector
Having scanned the skies finding the pulsar stars that point thousands of light years to the east toward T’au—home—the T’au on the fortress station understood they were stranded. Bewildered by how they travelled such an extensive distance finding themselves within the Macharian Sector, their task now is to connect with the T’au Empire in some capacity, while also seeing this as a prime opportunity to invite more races into the Greater Good, and establish a T’au force within the western sections of the galaxy.
The Flow of Power
Within the T’au Empire the flow of power is simple: lower ranks answer to higher ones, answer to the highest rank, answer to the Ethereal Court, answer to the Ethereal Supreme. While the Ethereal council, who oversee all castes and aspects of expansion, is the governing body of the T’au; here in the Macharian sector the link to the highest part of the hierarchy, the elevated members of the council and the Aun’o, is severed. The Aun that were aboard the T’au Fortress Station maintain their leadership, unwavered by the uncertainty thrown upon all those onboard after such a leap through the warp.
Seat of Power
The Ethereal Supreme holds authority over the entirety of the T’au Empire, and fills a similar power role to that of the Emperor for the Imperium. This role, however, is passed down from one ruler to their protégé, for example Aun’Wei passing the role of Aun’o to Aun’Va. However here in the Macharian Sector the T’au answer to the highest ranking member of the Ethereal caste onboard the fortress station—Aun'Ui T'olku Vior'Vah, Prelate Farstone of the T'olku Sept. They do not act as a replacement for the Ethereal Supreme and Master of the Undying Spirit who resides within their home sector, but rather as a leader continuing the roles T’au have followed for millenia.
Whispers
Word from voidships far outside of the Macharian Sector have spoken of seeing more T’au Orbitals appearing within the region, maybe other T’au ships entered that same warp storm, being scattered much like those who found themselves here.
Patrons
As a Gue’vesa, your Patron is likely a servant of the T’au Empire, or, in a rare show of fragile trust between the T’au Empire and Imperium, you serve an Imperial Patron.
T’au Patron
Your Patron is a member of the T’au Empire, seizing their chance in this new territory to establish a beachhead and secure alliances. Unknown to the everyday citizen of the Imperium, the T’au would appear to be just another Xenos threat, yet your Patron hopes with a helpful hand that Imperial systems will slowly come to see the higher truth of the Greater Good. The looming presence of the Imperium is ever in your Patron’s mind, forcing them into political engagements that are beyond complex.
Influence: Your Patron has +2 Influence with the T’au Empire.
Duty: Your Patron is either a Shas’o—A Fire Commander—or a Aun’saal—an Ethereal Lord.
Shas’o (Fire Commander)
Your Patron holds the highest rank within the T’au army, similar to that of a Commander. While many within the fire caste see this as the only way of leaving the T’au military aside from death, others seize it as an opportunity for control. Your Patron not only understands warfare, but has seen it up-close at a scale like few in the Fire Caste let alone the T'au Empire have been unfortunate enough to witness.
Free Boon: T’au Firepower
Your Patron is able to procure T’au weaponry with little interruption. You have Advantage on Availability Tests for T’au technology, T’au technology becomes 2 steps easier to obtain.
Aun’saal (Ethereal Lord)
Your Patron is a high-ranking T’au, a lord in their own right, and not one to mince words. Their word is law, and those words can prove inspirational. Your Patron is studious, knowing words can cut like a sword; and that negotiation is just as powerful as any gun.
Free Boon: Ethereal Caste
Your Patron’s rank within the T’au Empire allows them certain sway over all who are under them. Should it be needed, a message from your Patron can be shown to others who serve the T’au Empire. When you provide this message, you can choose to force anyone who is aware of the T’au to make a Hard (-20) Discipline (Composure) Test or capitulate to following any commands given to them. You may assume that anyone who shares a Faction with your Patron knows of their rank, while it is up to the GM who else is aware of it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anything marked with an * is listed below, all others listed are found within the Imperium Maledictum Core Book.
Boons
Auxilarist
Your Patron can call on a small squad of Kroot Mercenaries that can be found within the Macharian Sector. Once per mission, your Patron can put a number of Kroot Mercenaries (page 349) equal to the number of characters in the party under the party’s command for a day. The Kroot Mercenaries are under the control of the Gamemaster, and have been instructed to aid the party.
T’au Firepower
Your Patron is able to procure T’au weaponry with little interruption. You have Advantage on Availability Tests, T’au technology becomes 2 steps easier to obtain.
Fire Warrior Surplus
Your Patron is willing to equip you with surplus T’au Infantry supplies. You may start play with any one option from the list below. Additionally, you may spend a downtime Endeavour to claim an additional item.
A Pulse Pistol, a Pulse Rifle, or a Longshot Pulse Rifle.
3 EMP Grenades.
Any one piece of Xenos Mesh.
Either a Backpack, A Respirator, a set of Survival Gear, a Slip/Drop Harness, an Entrenching Tool, a Grapnel & Line, a Fusion Torch, or a Markerlight.
Water Caste Archive
Your Patron has collected strange and extensive knowledge of all who have joined the T’au and even those who have not. They are willing to give you access to this archive, potentially giving you information on your targets and enemies, and giving Advantage on Lore Tests.
Ethereal Caste
Your Patron’s rank within the T’au Empire allows them certain sway over all who are under them. Should it be needed, a message from your Patron can be shown to others who serve the T’au Empire. When you provide this message, you can choose to force anyone who is aware of the T’au to make a Hard (-20) Discipline (Composure) Test or capitulate to following any commands given to them. You may assume that anyone who shares a Faction with your Patron knows of their rank, while it is up to the GM who else is aware of it.
Rogue Travel
Rogue Traders: +1 Patron Influence
Your Patron has forged alliances with a Rogue Trader dynasty, and is able to arrange passage for you aboard one of their vessels. During each mission, you can undertake up to two voyages on the Rogue Traders’ vessel, including Interplanetary (Warp) travel, as well as hiding you from Imperial Authorities whilst aboard. Your accommodation and meals are of Standard Quality for a week, after which your Patron’s agreements do not cover the expense of further accommodation and rations.
Water Caste Envoy
Any one Faction: +1 Patron Influence
Once per adventure, your Patron gives you a direct line to a Por’el—a Water Caste Diplomat—granting you the right to an audience with a member of the Imperial nobility or high-ranking military on any world, with the Por’el joining you on mission, under orders of your patron to facilitate negotiation.
T’au Air Support
Your Patron can always secure you Good Quality Planetary travel on atmospheric craft. Additionally, once during a mission you can call in a focused air strike or close air support of either Imperium or T’au make, which can be resolved as three attacks of either Frag or Krak Missiles with a Ranged skill of 60. At the Gamemaster’s discretion at the exact nature of the air strike may change, for example a flyover from a Barracuda Class Fighter may consist of two attacks by Pulse Blasters and a single drop of an EMP Grenade and a Ranged skill of 60.
Liabilities
Redundant Observer
Your Patron wants to know exactly how you operate, and has entrusted a Drone to acquire that information. Your Patron deploys a Drone equipped with only a Video Recorder to document your exploits. These obsolete observers will occasionally hinder progress in missions by getting in the way, making noise, or otherwise bumbling around.
Background and Influence—T’au
If your Patron has positive Influence with the T’au they have likely worked alongside the T’au towards a common goal. They may have joined forces, organising a pushback on a Tyranid swarm, or perhaps some Gue’vesa aided the escape of your Patron from an oncoming Waaagh! of Orks, maybe the Patron themselves worked closely with the T’au.
If your Patron has negative Influence with the T’au they will likely have interfered with T’au plans, most likely through serving the imperium directly in conflict with the T’au, though may have had a more indirect effect such as preventing T’au technology being spread to the Gue’vesa within the sector, or maybe your Patron had some hand in warning a settlement the T’au originally targeted for the Greater Good.
Questions your players may inquire: Having a Gue’vesa character—or a T’au Patron for that matter—within a group raises more than a few questions. For example: “Why, in the Emperor’s name, would we ally with Xenos?” To which a number of reasons could be given or hidden from the players. Perhaps those further up the chain of command have allied with T’au within the sector to take out a common threat of Tyranids, Orks, or Drukhari. Maybe you are setting up a conflict with the T’au themselves later down the line; knowing your enemy always hits harder. Access to T’au technology may be another tempting reason to ally with them.

I loveloveLOVE the idea of a FarmSim! AU! Like yourself, I assume a lot of us weren’t raised as farmer’s children, and more or less grew up on Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon. (Altho I do know a bit about living in Indiana, land of the Corn and home of the Indy500, if that counts towards anything lmao). In any case, I hope you like mytake on the Sides!
In terms of Farm Sim tropes, I’d be willing to say that The Royals (Dia, Barb, and ‘Phisto) are a part of some sort of local govt. bc I cannot see them as knees-in-the-mud farmer types lol. Maybe the farm is the “ROYAL FARM OF DIAVOLO” or something to try and convince Dia’s (not-in-a-self-induced-slumber) Mega-Corp father that farms are important, and corpo factories are bad. Diavolo has no idea how farming works but he likes to watch and play with the baby animals. Barb does not appreciate the farm visits bc Dia gets super excited and cannot be told “NO” if he wants to walk across a muddy field and up to a bull like “You are a fine specimen! A complete winner!” Luckily he is blessed with “Animals Love Me” kind of luck. Barb makes sure to get the Young Master dressed appropriately for next time. You need to talk to Barbatos about ordering tools, supplies, and contractors to build/repair things like stables, wells, and greenhouses. Mephistopheles takes care of the buying and selling of animals, and you gotta “prove to him” that you can be responsible enough to handle a horse (he does inspections of the farm and makes EVERYONE take riding/horse care tests).
The angels run the local cafe/store where you can get food and seeds, among other things. They buy your products and sometimes make presents (like sweaters made from your sheep's wool). Simeon and Luke run the Cafe side of things, while Raphael runs the store. Since Luke is a bit young to be running a business, he’s more like an assistant baker and he runs the morning collection at your farm. When he has time, he’ll sing to some of the animals.
Thirteen would probably the the Farm Sim Mine Spelunking Monster Trapper or smth like that? She’ll toss some coin your way if you bring her monster parts or rare ore, and maybe she’ll give you some “recipes” to make mining tools/weapons/traps.
And like... How funny would it be if Solomon just... didn’t change? Like at all? He already fits the “supernatural element” of other farming sims. An interesting and mysterious figure that lives just on the edge of the village. If you come to him with the monster parts/ore instead of Thirteen, he could help artifice some of your farming equipment with special traits, or craft potions that help you talk to animals or w/e.
IDK what do you think?
PLEASE I AM LOVING IT.
Okay okay so I totally agree about Diavolo, everything about that is spot on. He's fascinated by farm life, but knows nothing about it just like he is with humans in the game. Totally gets himself dirty because he just wants to experience things! Come on, Barbatos it'll be fun!!
And the corporation dad, that is perfection, too. Of course Dia's trying to convince his dad that farms are good!
Barb is forever suffering lol. While he does have a garden, I can't see Barbatos doing any kind of hard farm work either. He's definitely more suited to getting permits and such, but I could see him frequenting the angels' bakery because he likes to cook. They swap recipes a lot. Maybe he hosts the cooking competition, mostly because I think that'd be so funny.
Mephisto as the animal guy is perfect, you better believe he's gonna make sure your horse area is up to par before he'll even consider letting you have one.
Love the angels running a cafe and store, that's something I could easily see them doing. And oh my heart Luke singing to the animals!! My precious baby son. I kinda see him also being partial to flowers in general, since that's the only thing he's grown in the actual game lol. Maybe he starts making bouquets or perfumes...
Oh man Thirteen as the miner/monster hunter type! She's got a forge and spends untold amounts of time wandering the woods.
Solomon is such a menace and honestly I can't see him doing anything other than being the supernatural being. I keep thinking of Witchie from Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon. Like it'd be funny if he was more like Dessie and lived in a pond, but let's be real, he's definitely the one making weird potions and magic tools and such.
And of course all the characters are also marriage candidates, so if you marry Solomon, he's gonna come live with you on your farm. Spends all day in his wizard tower on the edge of town, but at night he comes home to his lil farmer spouse lsadlkjdfjkfdkjl.
Wow my worlds are colliding so hard right now I can't even deal with it. What I wouldn't give to have all these characters in a game where I could deliberately pursue and marry one of them!
Anyway, I totally love this and your ideas! I'm pretty sure I would do some unspeakable acts to have an Obey Me farm sim game like this.

A basic guide to the relics, locations, books, and dimensions related to the Masters of the Mystic Arts. Sorted by Relics, Books, Locations, and Dimensions. Images of relics and books included.
Relics
Relics are objects imbued with magic too powerful for a sorcerer to sustain. By enchanting the relic, the strain is taken from the sorcerer and allows the magic to be safely used and wielded.
Eye of Agamotto- The amulet holding the Time Stone, meant to contain it. Created by Agamotto, the first Sorcerer Supreme and founder of the Masters of the Mystic Arts. Appears to have been used by all The Ancient Ones/Sorcerers Supreme. Allows whoever wears it to control the power of the Time Stone and loop, manipulate, reverse, fast forward, and see the future. A spell was placed upon the amulet that protected the Stone from theft, even in the event of Stephen Strange's death. Used by The Ancient One and Doctor Stephen Strange. Resides in the globe room of Kamar-Taj when not in use. After End Game, Stephen Strange continues to wear the empty amulet, as the Time Stone was destroyed by Thanos following the Snap.

Cloak of Levitation- A bright red cloaked of unknown origins that is described as 'a fickle thing'. It does not appear to choose masters easily and was kept in a display case in the New York Sanctum when not on use. Its case was broken open by Kaecilius throwing Stephen Strange through it during the Battle of the New York Sanctum. It intervened when Kaecilius tried to kill Strange, and proceeded to save his life. The relic is now in the possession of Stephen Strange. Was damaged by the Scarlet Witch in the Battle of Kamar-Taj and was repaired by 838 Christine Palmer with a patch of blue fabric.

Crimson Bands of Cyttorak- A contraption of metal forged in Babylon, 900s BC. They are stored on a wall in the upper floor of the New York Sanctum. They have the ability to bind and gag whoever is encased by them. Used by Stephen Strange and the Cloak of Levitation to bind Kaecilius during the Battle of the New York Sanctum; he latter escaped them through unknown means. It is also the name of the spell Stephen Strange used to ensnare Thanos with multiple times on Titan.

Sling Ring- The most basic and important part of a Master of the Mystic Arts' arsenal. It allows the channeling of dimension energy to create a portal to any place the user wishes, including, it seems, other dimensions. Most commonly used for transportation from one location to the next, and size of the portal that is produced varies depending on the casting of the user. It is the only known way to exit the Mirror Dimension. Also called slingy(ies).

Space-Time Shard/Space Shard- Transparent weapons crafted from energy of the Dark Dimension wielded by Kaecilius and the Zealots. They are used as blade, and explode into dark bursts upon impacts with a non-human target when thrown. Kaecilius murdered Daniel Drumm and Lucian Aster badly injured Stephen Strange with one during the Battle of the New York Sanctum. Kaecilius later used one to murder The Ancient One in the Battle of the Mirror Dimension.

The Sands of Nisanti- Sands kept in a glass container capable of rendering targets unconscious and stop them from using magic. It is unclear if their mere presence allows this, or if grains of the Sands must be consumed in some manner. Used by 838 Baron Karl Mordo to incapacitate Stephen Strange and America Chavez, and used by 838 Christine Palmer to create magic-proof prisons and handcuffs. Kept in the New York Sanctum

Books
Books containing spells and knowledge of magic. Some are kept in the masters' library of Kamar-Taj or The Ancient One's private collection, forbidden to be used by students and masters without the permission of Sorcerer Supreme or the librarian.
The Book of Cagliostro- A book kept in The Ancient One's private collection in the masters' library in Kamar-Taj. It is filled with dark rituals and spells, including a ritual to contact Dormammu in the Dark Dimension. It also includes rituals of how to steal power from the Dark Dimension and extend one's life. Contains instructions and explanations on the power of time, the Time Stone, and the Eye of Agamotto. All the warnings come after the spells. The rituals to contact Dormammu were stolen by Kaecilius and kept in a leather folder and these rituals, at least, are written in Nelvayu (according to the initial trailer and deleted content, the pages then fall into the possession of Karl Mordo after the Battle of Hong Kong).
From left to right: The book in its shelf, the rituals of time, and the rituals to contact Dormammu.

The Book of Vishanti- A legendary book thought by most to be a myth. The knowledge of its existence is a closely-guarded secret of the Sorcerers Supreme. It is hidden in the Gap Junction. It is the anti-thesis of the Darkhold and resistant to its magic, the spells contained within its pages granting whoever uses it the ability to defeat their enemy. Destroyed by the Scarlet Witch.
The Book of Vishanti found in the Gap Junction by Stephen Strange, America Chavez, and 838 Christine Palmer

The Darkhold/The Books of Sins/The Book of Spells/The Book of the Damned- A book of spells containing written versions of dark magic originally created by Chthon. It is filled with dark, corrosive, corrupted magic. Causes obsession and possessiveness in the holder, along with amplifying their fears and desires to the point they can be driven to insanity. The spells contained within include spells for dreamwalking and controlling the souls of the damned. Used by Agatha Harkins, Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch, Stephen Strange, 838 Stephen Strange, and Sinister Strange. One copy was destroyed by Sara Wolfe in Kamar-Taj at the sacrifice of her own life. Those who use its magic are inflicted with pure black staining the fingers, traveling further down the more they use it. In Stephen Strange and his variants, the corruption manifests as a Third Eye.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Book of the Invisible Sun, Astronomia Nova, Codex Imperium, The Key of Solomon, The Book of Cagliostro, Maxim's Primer, Vedic Classical Sanskrit- Various books kept in the library of Kamar-Taj. Their uses and contents are unknown.
Locations
Kamar-Taj- The headquarters of the Masters of the Mystic Arts, located in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is separated from the rest of the city and contains temples, training grounds, and various buildings where the residents reside. The basement of the library contains a magical globe used to keep watch over threats to the Earth, and doorways to all the Sanctums.
The Sanctums are buildings built by the Masters of the Mystic Arts at the intersections of cosmic and dimensional energy. Their construction was ordered by Agamotto, the first Sorcerer Supreme, in these places of power. Great cities sprouted around them. Together, they generate a protective shield around the Earth. In turn, the Masters of the Mystic Arts protect the Sanctums.
The New York Sanctum- A large, old mansion located at 177A Bleeker Street, Greenwich Village, New York City. It, like its sisters, help provide a magical bearer against magical, supernatural, and otherworldly threats to Earth. During the Battle of Manhattan, it was guarded by The Ancient One. At some following point, Daniel Drumm was named master, and was killed by Kaecilius defending it. Stephen Strange succeeded him. Following the Snap, Wong took over as the master. Vast stores of relics are kept inside, along with a magical prison in the basement. A Rotunda of Doors leads to various locations, such as a desert, jungle, forest, mountain range, and ocean, all changed by a turn of a knob.
The London Sanctum- A Sanctum located in London. It was destroyed by Kaecilius and his Zealots, only to later be rebuilt. One master, Sol Rama, was killed while running to Kamar-Taj for aid. It also contains many relics inside.
The Hong Kong Sanctum- A Sanctum located in Hong Kong. It was the target of Kaecilius and his Zealots in an attempt to allow Dormammu to take over the Earth. While it was initially destroyed and their plan a success, it was returned to its undestroyed state by Stephen Strange reversing time. It contains stores of relics. The only known master is Tina Minoru.
Dimensions
Various dimensions roughly adjacent to our own. Not to be confused with the Multiverse, different universes, or different planets.
The Mirror Dimension- A dimension (presumably) crafted by the Master of the Mystic Arts. It is ever present but undetected. The real world is not affected by what happens inside it. The Masters of the Mystic Arts use the Mirror Dimension to safely train, surveil threats and situations, and to sometimes contain threats. The only known way to exit is by Sling Ring. The dimension distorts the surroundings and appears as different facets of broken mirrors, making it often hard to tell where a threat is located. Matter and space can be bent in it, and it amplifies dark magic, also revealing the hidden symbols on the foreheads of those who have used rituals to draw power from the Dark Dimension. Portals inside are easily opened, appearing as a wall of broken glass, and can be thrown down on enemies to trap them quickly.
The Dark Dimension- This is where Dormammu dwells. It is a dimension beyond time. It is filled with dark power and magic, and is filled with the remains of planets and universes that have been conquered and devoured by Dormammu. It is unsettling in appearance, filled with floating orbs of blues, greens, pinks, and purples, all connected by odd strands. There is no apparent light source, and the sky is dark and dotted with more of the orbs and strands. It will come down like a storm when swallowing a planet. The Mindless Ones, slaves of Dormmamu, also reside here.
The Astral Dimension- The spirit dimension, accessible by astral projecting oneself. It is one of many astral dimensions. It coexists directly alongside the real world, much like the Mirror Dimension. Unlike the Mirror Dimension, what happens inside can effect the real world. A soul can be attacked, injured, and killed like in the real world, resulting in permanent death. A person may choose to enter this dimension, or be forced onto it by a strike to the chest via a sorcerer. Time can also be slowed temporarily, and windows opened into the real world. Magical books appear to also have a form in this dimension.
The Actiniaria Dimension- It is a harshly lit dimension filled with yellowish clouds and dark orange orbs dotted with protrusions of pulsing yellow and green. These orbs explode into violent geysers of orange-gold or green-yellow sparks and send out waves of the same color across the clouds. The explosions do not appear to cause any harm.
The Flowering Incense Dimension- Not much is known about this dimension. It was briefly visited by Stephen Strange when The Ancient One sent him on a journey through the multiverse. It resembles incense smoke blooming from the inside out, constantly reforming and folding in on itself. Patterns of smoke, dust, and matter are visible within it.
The Mandelibus Dimension- A disturbing dimension that at first glance takes on the appearance of a rocky tunnel network. The only known appearance was actually broken, shifting statues stacked together, all bearing the likeness of Stephen Strange. These then grew into a mass of hands that ensnared him, only for more hands to sprout from his fingertips, which in turn sprouted more hands, and so on. A vast image of Stephen then appeared, and he was sucked through the eye, exiting the dimension. It is an ever-shifting reality.
The Grass Jelly Dimension- A fractal dimension that is entered through a mirror-like tunnel. The surroundings are green-blue space with faceted objects of various shades and sizes with brilliant colors visible inside floating through it.

Thinking about Liios and Estinien again. 😩
.
At the end of long days fighting, Estinien allowed Liios to help him doff his armor.
What was usually the work asked of a squire meant something else entirely when your equal was the one to do it for you, and Liios performed the task with a quiet devotion that made Estinien's heart ache with some unnamed, fierce emotion that had taken up residence in his ribcage for years.
First his gauntlets, then greaves, then the pauldrons, then the chest plate and tassets. Liios lifted them from him, unbuckling the belts and pulling them free with efficiency born of familiarity. He had gotten used to this new armor very quickly, Estinien thought. Though he had also been quick to learn with his old ones, the one stained with Nidhogg's blood, that was his undoing.
The pieces were mounted on the armor rack reserved for them. Liios looked them over with a craftsman's eye, cataloging the nicks and tears to fix. Then he returned to help Estinien out of his tabard, until he was unencumbered enough to do the rest himself.
While Estinien changed out of the sweat-soaked shirt for a fresh one, Liios rummaged for his toolkit and some alkahest. The usual repairs could be carried out with dark-matter crystals, but Estinien understood that the infrequent application of alkahests and solvents kept equipment as effective as when they were first made...
...when done by skilled hands.
If it had been anyone else, even if it was the Ishgardian masters of the forges themselves, Estinien would have yanked back the armor. Passed to him by Hraesvelgr, there was no way he could take such a risk with it. Even now he watched from across the room as Liios emptied the solutions and solvents into bowls, watched as he picked up the tools and crystals.
And only kept watching, as Liios mended first the chips and tears, then coated them. The movements were the same as they had been the last three times Liios had done it for him, months apart, so precise and regular Estinien could be certain they did not change between applications.
He did it in the same order as he had taken them off Estinien. Gauntlets, greaves, pauldrons, chest plate, tassets. The leather parts required a different solution, though Liios didn't reach for it. Instead he tested them, seemingly found them satisfactory, and set them aside in a moment.
Estinien left him to it, so he could go wash his face and the blood and Void dust out of his hair. When he returned, two chilled goblets of mint-flavored drinks in hands, Liios had finished.
Iceheart wore her challenges well, not unlike the woman Estinien had named the suit of armor after. She would never have the handsomeness of new steel, as she had seen battle even before the Dragonsong War, but as Estinien stood there and studied her, he felt the satisfying certainty of knowing she would bear him through several more decades yet. Perhaps even beyond it.
Liios, still seated at the table and now cleaning up his array of tools, looked up at him. He inclined his head in wordless request for his opinion, and Estinien nodded.
He put the drinks on the table where it had been cleared, and kissed Liios's cheek as he took the seat next to him. His not-lover hummed, long eyelashes fluttering as he returned the kiss with one of his own, then another one on Estinien's jaw, as was their habit.
They clacked their goblets together in silent cheer and relief at the end of another day, and drank.

Patsu came back from trying to buy the young ladies of the Shop of Repairs some lunch. Dee looked up from the careful hammering of the work piece on her anvil. “Eggs and vegetables, Patsu san? What of the prawns that we wanted?”
Patsu sighed, “I got us a pair of chicken leg quarters too. As for seafood,” she shook her head, “Minami san was not in the fish market. While I waited, four other customers came, waited and left.
“As I was leaving, he came running up from trespassing your Chiasu Estate property, Dee. You know, where we have workers rebuilding the old boat house that was torn down so many years ago. He accused me of trespassing in his open shop!
“I pointed out that he was the one doing trespassing on OUR property and that I'd been waiting to buy some nice prawns!
“He blew up at me and said that he would never sell us or our mothers any sort of seafood at all, now or ever!”
Miko looked up from the calligraphy that she was writing and laid aside her brush. “That is an unfair business practice, Patsu san. By the laws that let him have the only fish market in the village, he must serve all who come and have the money to buy, unless they are being disorderly.”
As she was jointing and cutting up the chicken to add to the chopped vegetables already in the pot, Patsu observed, “He really does not seem to care about the law anymore. Ever since he came back from the war that captured the whole island of Corutsu for Lord Umayu, he has been a different man. Sometimes I wish that we had not healed him of his gangrenous leg wound.”
Dee took the pot with their lunch and focussed her Aspect of Fire on it, drawing on the heat of the forge's fire, it began to steam and smell pretty good. Satsuna, who was the best cook among them, took over with seasoning things. Soy sauce, honey, a touch of vinegar and some crushed cloves of garlic all went in and were stirred carefully.
With a bow, she gave the pot back to Dee. “Thicken it please, Dee san.” Smiling, Dee raised the delicate seeming inner eyelids over her golden vertically slit pupiled eyes and focused her Aspect of Fire on it once more. Lovely scented steam arose as their lunch thickened from a thin soup to a smooth sauce with the chicken, and vegetables in it.
Looking up the street, Patsu set up another bowl of rice topped with the fresh sweet and sour chicken and vegetables. At the glances from the others, Patsu pointed with her chop sticks.
“Sunma san is coming and Chansa is following her, like usual!”
“Healing Chansa's broken leg a few years ago was a fine thing that we did.” Satsuna smiled at the memory of helping another orphan to keep her “smallest herd of goat in Sabo.”
Sunma happily bounced into the Shop of Repairs, followed by her goat! Chansa looked about eagerly because when her mistress brought her to this shop, there was always a tasty treat for a hungry goat! And goats are always hungry.
Dee watched happily as Patsu got up and brought in an armful of freshly picked, bright green kudzu leaves, a favorite of Chansa's.
The goat, seeing Patsu for the first time that day, promptly reared up, head over sideways and did a leaning lunge of a head butt at Patsu! Patsu countered that by a friendly fist between the horns, only hard enough to stop the butt.
She commented, “Still remember smelling me all over those bandages and leg splints from when we fixed your leg, huh, Chansa san? Here. Fresh kudzu for you.”
Their greeting ritual done, Chansa took a few leaves from Patsu's hand and started to happily graze up the rest. Miko offered, “We seem to have served up an extra bowl of lunch, Sunma san. Will you join us?”
Dee quietly poured another cup of tea. Sunma was just kneeling to her place at the table when a large hand was laid heavily on the neck of her stout working shift! Fisherman Minami roughly dragged her back from the table!
As he did so, he snarled, “This is a shop! A place of business! Take your vile goat and go!”
Two things happened at once! Chansa, seeing her mistress so mistreated, charged! She hit the backs of his knees with a head down, full power butt! His legs were folding as Patsu's foot hit his mid section in a forceful cross footed kick!
As her knee lifted from the kick, Patsu slammed the back of his head with a two handed rabbit punch! That bounced his forehead solidly onto her upraised knee! He folded to the ground, unconscious.
Patsu leaned out the wide door of the Shop of Repairs and called out, “Constable! Constable!”
As Constable Canra came in, she explained, “Fisherman Minami has broken Magistrate Lim's order to not interfere with our business, trespassing both our shop and the Chiasu Estate where we are having the old boat house rebuilt. In addition, he has laid violent hands on Sunma san, trying to order her and her goat Chansa to leave. Both are invited guests and are here to share lunch and tea with us.”
While she was talking, a large, almost squarely built man entered and offered Dee a torn open package. Satsuna saw it and exclaimed, “Chalk!? Did it get into the mortar?”
He bowed to her and replied, “Sadly it did. We were having our noon rice over in the shade of the Newly rebuilt warehouse,” he stirred the fallen Minami with his foot as he went on, “and so this unworthy one did not see us. He opened this package and stirred it into the dry mortar that we were ready to mix, ruining it. We wished to know whether we should test the rest of our work to see if he has done this before.”
It was Constable Canra who answered, “Please do so. Besides your testimony about this incident, should any of your prior work prove to have been damaged, come to the Tribunal and report to Magistrate Lim all that you know of this.”
Miko bowed to the Constable and told him, “Canra san, as soon as I am done with my luncheon, I shall be up to the Tribunal to record this case for Magistrate Lim.”
Constable Canra looked up from binding the arms of Fisherman Minami and gave her a head duck of a bow as he mentioned, “Please bring Sunma san and Chansa to the Tribunal with you.”
He straightened up. Leaning on his ceremonial but very functional naginata he hauled Fisherman Minami to his feet and dragged him away.

From the desk of Delphine Delecaille Headmistress The Institute for Advanced Learning Malvolio Island August 25, 2023
TO MY FACULTY, STUDENTS, & ISLAND RESIDENTS,
I understand this must be a difficult time. Your home has been destroyed, your headmaster killed. It would be easy for you to hate me for my actions. Some of you may even mourn him.
I would like to take this opportunity to assure you, there is no need. He would not mourn any of you, were your roles reversed. Dante Malvolio was, in fact, quite willing to sacrifice each and every one of you if it meant avoiding paying his debts to me. I trained the man, gave him every speck of power he possessed, and he did not hesitate to order my assassination--he even helped to forge the dragonsbane blade that nearly killed me. I gave him a year to pay his debts, and he chose to hide here, within his protective spells, putting all of you at risk. How long do you think it would have been before he'd called all of you out of your shelters to fight? To die? No, there is no need to mourn such a man.
It will take time, I know, but it is my sincerest hope that we will all become the dearest of friends. While you have only seen me as your enemy thus far, know this: I take care of my friends. I am a dragon, and this island is now a part of my hoard. Show loyalty to me, and you will be rewarded. I cannot say the same for anyone who continues to waste their energy on Dante Malvolio.
As I write to you, my people are organizing temporary housing for those affected by the destruction. Repairs are already underway in many places, and I am happy to share with you my Island Welcome Packet, with new and much improved regulations for slaves, masters, and guards--though I will not be enforcing those rules until the start of our first term together in September.
While all supernatural slaves will remain bound and protective spells will remain in place, I am not blind to the fact that these are special circumstances. For a limited time, there will be no restricted areas, except for the wreckage of the administration building and the dormitory building, for everyone's safety. Those staying in the campus store will be asked to observe an 11pm curfew until housing arrangements can be made; after that no curfew will be enforced until the term begins. All rentals and new claims are suspended for the time being.
Take this time to recover, and familiarize yourself with the new rules.
Your new friend and headmistress,
Delphine Delecaille, Last of the Arcane Dragons

The sanctum’s courtyard was where most of the restoration work had been done so far. Perhaps because it was more a matter of gardening than stonework. However, there was some fine stonecraft to show off, now that the walls had all been patched. And the bridge across the ravine was repaired and reinforced. The portcullis had been removed entirely, melted down and used to create a fence for the vegetable garden. This was where Shadowheart’s dire wolf lay fast asleep in the sun, enjoying his protective duties.
The other side of the courtyard was a small makeshift forge that the local blacksmith used sometimes, and a mason’s workshop. The plan was to keep them there until the bulk of the work was done, and then turn it back into the pretty prayer garden intended. Elion spied Master Faydor, not really working, just arranging his tools mindlessly, brow furrowed. The heat from the sun made his bald head sweat and his eyes squint.
Elion didn’t dare take a seat, some part of him sure that Faydor would simply dismiss him on sight again, rather than hear him out. He faced him expectantly, experience telling him that the stonemason was ready to excoriate him again.
“Well. What do you have to say for yourself?” Master Faydor acknowledged him without looking at him. “You haven’t taken your duties seriously. You don’t have a love for the work. Why did you waste my time?”
The hollow disappointment stung. The truth of it stung. “I suppose I was rebelling against my parents?”
“You’re a little old for that.”
“Agreed.”
“I do have an interest,” Elion started to defend himself in earnest, “and talent—you’ve seen what I can do. I can do the work. I think I hoped I’d come to love it. I still hope that.”
“I can’t actually afford to send you away,” Master Faydor admitted. “I can’t rebuild this place on my own. But, I have a feeling it won’t matter much, in the wake of…” He motioned to the sanctum, indicating everything inside of it, Elion thought. “Mark my word, this will take a cleric far away. She’ll be looking to put together a band of adventurers to lead into foolishness. Once she gets her way, she’ll apologize and want to leave with the wizard. Take on the burden of some quest,” He sniffed. “Maybe she’ll come back, maybe she won’t. Not sure how motivated the people will be to carry on with the project, once their special acolyte is gone.”
Elion wasn’t sure he agreed. “They aren’t doing it for her. Moonhaven Anew wants this place in use again.”
“Selune isn’t real to them, the way that she is,” Master Faydor shrugged. “They were happy to leave this place a ruin for decades. Nothing’s changed.”
“You’re here now. That makes a difference.”
“I was here forty years ago—” Master Faydor started to argue, but Elion shut him up by motioning to the shining white, fresh stones of the lookout tower, and then moved his arm to indicate the bridge beyond the gate.
“And you single-handedly rebuilt an impressive portion of the sanctum, all by yourself,” Elion pointed out. “It’s just a bad day for long term projects. Give yourself credit.”
Master Faydor had stopped wallowing, but he’d also stopped talking entirely. He was looking past Elion at the bridge.
Elion followed his gaze and found a stranger approaching them. The stranger was still a ways off, but he stopped as he noticed them, and waved.
Waving back, Elion looked to Master Faydor. It would be another minute or so before he was in earshot. “I understand if I’m simply not the right apprentice to help you rebuild this sanctum, but you’ve already proven a few times over that you’re up to the task. Everyone sees it. They want it. They’ll not abandon you again. You’re a hope spot for them.”
The stranger was human, well-built and tall, he had a kind of lurching walk, like maybe his legs were especially tired from days on the road. His skin was warm in hue, but free of the typical scars and freckles that the sun burned onto outdoorsy human faces. His clothing fit him poorly, stretched and ripped in places. He definitely looked like he’d had a hard road at his back. He had a pack hanging over one shoulder, but no weapon in sight, not even a bow. Long black hair, thick with curl, was pulled back off his face, tied in a way that suggested he didn’t have a mirror. “Well met,” he greeted, clearing his throat. “I was hoping to cover more ground today, but find myself in need of respite. I don’t suppose a temple of Selûne would welcome a traveler, just for a night? I need not enter the temple proper, but I’d set up camp nearby if I’m welcome.”
“Most welcome,” Master Faydor inclined his head in greeting. “We can certainly spare the space—might even have some food for poor lost refugees. Elion, would you check our larder?”
Dismissed again, Elion gave them a curt nod, suspicious that Master Faydor was still trying to put off this conversation. They needed to have it. He didn’t much relish the thought either, for he felt sure it would end with him making arrangements to return to Baldur’s Gate where he’d have to explain—apologize—to his parents and probably take up the same station he’d abandoned six months ago.
It was a dim prospect, but foreseeable. He should have put more into this shift, should have recognized that a life change at this point was something that needed to work, or he’d end off significantly worse than before, and humbled before those who already saw him as lesser.
He didn’t go straight to the kitchens this time, deciding instead that he would check in on the wizard and the monk.
The spot where he and Xan had passed the time together was on the way, so he checked and found that Xan had disappeared, leaving his bedroll and several dozing cats.
He’d set the bath up for Gale in his own room, unsure where else in the sanctum there was decent drainage. It used to be a torture chamber. Shadowheart had told him that once. Somehow, that didn’t surprise him. It was the part of the sanctum still largely decimated by Sharran bombardment, and neglect. There was no longer a doorway of any kind, so he’d fixed a long stretch of burlap cloth as a curtain, and put together a makeshift bedroll and a library that was really just a stack of books he’d found around the temple.
Gale was exactly where Elion had left him; in a wooden tub, behind a paper screen, in no small amount of distress. Elion heard a familiar kind of chime in the air and smelled the acrid dispersion of the weave. Probably dismissed his cantrip; Mage Hand wasn’t quite making up for what he lacked.
“Need some help?” it couldn’t be easy, learning to do everything that had come so naturally for so long, all over again with only one hand to rely on.
“I don’t—it’s fine. I just need a little additional time… compared to my usual routine.”
“It’s alright to need a little help. Especially this early on.”
“A hundred years ago and it’s still early days,” sighed Gale through the screen, the way he released his breath and the splash of water that followed suggested to Elion that he’d leaned back in the tub and sloshed water everywhere. “What have I missed?” he sounded genuinely crushed for a moment, but recovered with a, “I don’t suppose you have a mirror? I could use a mirror.”
“I think the only mirror in the sanctum is a bit on the grand side,” Elion admitted, apologetic. “But, I am at your disposal, if that doesn’t make you uncomfortable.”
“What do you suggest?”
“Wash that fine head of hair for you?” Once he said it aloud it sounded a bit bold. But it was too late to take the words back.
Gale laughed shortly. “You’re the only person I’ve spoken to who likes it.”
“You must not socialize much.”
“Not since it’s gotten this long, no…” Gale was quiet a moment, then he cleared his throat. “So intimate a thing,” he sighed, “but I suppose—I do need help,” he finished the thought in a quiet voice, fearful, almost.
Elion waited a moment on one side of the paper screen. He couldn’t hear anything, not even the wizard’s breathing. “Shall I come around?”
“...Please.”
Gale sat hunched in the tub, already moved forward enough that Elion had easy access to his back and his bowed head. He resisted the urge to comment as the first thing he noticed was just how badly his services were needed. The encasing black gunk that had somehow protected him had left a dust, stinky sort of residue all matted through the back of his head and down his spine. Elion used his tail to whip a stool within reach and sat down gathering the water in his hands and pouring it at first. Gale flinched.
“It’s cooling fast,” Elion said apologetically, laying his hands flat a moment against Gale’s shoulders. He wasn’t shivering, but the water couldn’t be comfortable like this.
“Well. You’re quite warm,” Gale cleared his throat, from the sliver of his face that he could see, Elion thought he wasn’t imagining a blush.
“A featured trait of us hellspawn.”
“Oh Gods, that’s not still the rhetoric is it? Tieflings in my day had a rough go of it. A hundred years and we haven’t learned much?”
“The Infernal Wars have gone on for the century you’ve been away. If progress was ever to be made for tiefling acceptance, it was not going to happen during the last hundred years,” Elion tried not to sound too embittered.
“Shame,” Gale seemed to relax a little under his hands, he actually leaned back, just a few inches, as Elion started to work his fingers into his scalp, massaging the water into the roots of his hair. “I’m sorry to hear it. Truly.”
“I suppose there’s some good things to report.” Elion dipped his hands into the water, and watched the black come away in smokey swirls in the water. “We’ve had a few spots of positive press, if nothing else. Where I grew up—Baldur’s Gate, there’s a rather well known tiefling wizard, master of Ramazith Tower. Rolan. He’s been around a long while now though, I don’t suppose—?”
“After my time,” Gale answered the question before Elion could finish it, but then added, “but, that’s promising to hear, actually. I had hoped to consult elder wizards on my… predicament. If this Archduke Raphael is interested in my orb, perhaps a wizard who’s experienced in the weave and the infernal is the right call.”
“That certainly describes Rolan. At least—what I’ve heard of him.” Elion poured a little water into the worst of the clumped hair and used his long nails to break up the locks.
“I think it’s warmer for being in your hands,” Gale said after a moment, Elion thought he’d been holding his breath. “The water, I mean,” he added.
“You’re nearly starting to look presentable, sir.” Elion was surprised by how much it lifted him to hear Gale sounding less hopeless than before.
“That’s all I can ask,” Gale exhaled another captive breath.

waloed holds the 4 top spots for war victory% no glitch speedrun, the first being the time some nation made a comment of barnabas’ spouse being a good addition to their concubine circle.
and the second place being bladesmith, when some foreign noble was bold in taking the princess (their tiny tiny baby aged 15) as a political marriage and she just won the war themselves. barnabas was too horny at the initial yelling from his spouse to get on the battle field
That second one has some genuine potential anon, I always wanted to get into bladesmith a abilities so *cracks knuckles*
She was an apprentice bladesmith working under her father, then eventually an official bladesmith once she became a teenager
She had difficulties applying for an official apprenticeship as smithing was seen as a man’s job. The only reason she was able to be taught is because of her father, who personally gave her master one of the blades she had forged as proof of her skill. Even then there was an obvious bias between her and the rest of the apprentices.
She didn’t care though. As much as they wanted to deny her, they could not deny her craftsmanship.
When it was her turn to sell her pieces under the watchful eyes of her master she used a pseudonym as she was afraid her gender would impact her sales.
When her master finds out she sold a weapon without his knowledge he renounces her (really he was finding any excuse to get rid of her.) When words spreads on who make Barnabas’s weapon he tells everyone that he was the one who taught her how to best forge a blade, and you can imagine how thrilled she was to hear him using her name to his advantage.
Barnabas wanted to kill him—she wanted to embarrass him. Instead of murder she had Barnabas enter his forge, pick up his weapons and loudly exclaim “These are the worst blades I’ve ever had the misfortune of seeing, much less holding.” He soon ran out of business.
She has a philosophy that the best bladesmiths are the ones who know how to hold a sword—how do you expect a chef to improve without developing his palate? Her free time is spent watching the royal guards train through an opening in the fence and practicing it herself. She has been doing this for the better part of her life.
When Barnabas returns after conquering Waloed she insists on traveling with him under the guise of being close by to repair his armor and weapons as his personal smith, but she also wants an up close and personal look at how a true warrior wields her weaponry—that way she can improve even further.
Because of this she’s actually a surprisingly good swordswoman, better than most. I would say she’s on par with the royalist guards.

@luimagines I GOT MORE FOR THE DAUGHTER OF GANON AU AND I WANNA SHARE
First off, she has a name now! I did some research on how the Gerudo naming system works (thank you @gerudoshikyapril for making your blog and full Gerudo language dictionary, I am definitely incorporating that into my fanfic), and I am going to reveal… her last name XD No first name until I release the fic! You may call her Gandani (Daughter of Ganon :3).
And now, onto the other thing!
Know how First had to reforge the Goddess Blade to make it the blade it now is? Deity blade reforged by mortal hands?
... What if Gandani did that with Ghirahim-
Like she's been using the blade, but both her and Ghirahim realize that even with all his different forms, the demon sword is really designed and meant for Demise to use (not to mention his blade has suffered quite a bit of wear and tear), people that are just completely built different than her.
She suggests asking Four and the other smiths of the group to help her patch up his blade, knowing he might have some grievances about a Hero handling him, even if it is to repair him.
Ghirahim explains that 1) patching up blades is more complicated than just adding some metal (I know a liiiittle bit about forging and depending on blade, you could grind it down, but as we know, in LoZ lore, you definitely can’t just do that to a blade of deific origin), and 2) it's not going to help her to fix him into a blade she can't even use properly.
So he suggests reforging his blade entirely, explaining what it would do. From then on, he would be her blade, crafted to suit and help her, likely her alone from then on. And Gandani takes all this info, processes it, and goes:
“Will it hurt you?”
Ghirahim gets the heart he didn’t know he had melted by his masters daughter part 4-
Anywho think that could work?
(Btw here’s the link to the dictionary for those curious: http://va-eheniv.conlang.org/gerudolang1.html)
