YES Maqui x Yeul is fucking adorable so let me come here and ramble about this cute and pure ship that could lowkey be a thing if SQUARE DECIDES TO GIVE US A MOVIE AND SHOW YEUL INTERACTING WITH TEAM NORA UGHHHHHHH

Okay okay so, imagine like in the new world, Yeul meets Team NORA, and Maqui is just a cute adorkable boy who keeps on tripping over his own damn feet and blushing like a maniac. When talking to Yeul, he stutters a lot, and keeps on apologizing with a grin all the while he nervously scratches his head, and a part of Yeul finds his mannerisms adorable.

And Maqui kinda sorta backs off a bit because of the look Noel's giving him. Protective Older Brother Noel Mode Activated. And ya know Noel is a bit intimidating in Maqui's eyes so he just yeets back to tinkering with his machines.

Of course there's gonna be shit happening when NORA plus Snow find out about Maqui's little crush. Cue Snow, Gadot, and Yuj teasing the youngest member of the squad, and big sis Lebreau comin in to save the day by smacking them all upside their heads. "Leave him alone, I think it's adorable!"

Fast forward a bit to Noel deciding to not be so protective, and letting Yeul hang out with Maqui if she really wants to. And she does. Maqui is kind and funny and smart, and she enjoys hanging out with him in his little workshop, watching him build and fix things and helping him whenever he needs it.

And their little romance would be so damn pure!! It's really innocent stuff, like perhaps one grabs the others hand to lead them somewhere to see something, and cue their adorable blushing. Maqui taking notice of Yeul's limp whenever they're having a walk together and offering her a piggy back ride ((maqui you look like a beanpole can you handle it ejdjsj)). And Yeul genuinely giggling at Maqui's terrible little jokes that have the rest of the squad groaning. And they buy and share snacks with each other and shit, and Maqui teaches Yeul how to work with electronics and it's fucking fun dammit.

Well, I've had one in progress for awhile just to see if I could after that one ask anon, but for the most part I forgot about it, and kind of decided against releasing it! Originally, since the aforementioned ask was for raire, I did have it as the main point but I’m trying to rework that just a little bit! So I'll probably make a new header and remove the section I had for it when I have it officially open unless people say otherwise?
