Note: If you don't like the ship, you don't have to read this, criticism is welcome, but I also believe you can critize something nicely without being a prick about it, anyway this is an underrated ship that me and another tumbler were talking a little bit about, and I hope you enjoy!

Warnings: bullying, AK and VK relationships, and poly

Summary: Hades, Maleficent, and Fay go through the hardships of hiding their relationship and also dealing with being on different sides

Fay let out a sigh as she continued to hopelessly wave her wand around as she repeated bibbidi-bobbidi-boo, over and over, never getting the results she hoped for, what she didn't notice was two girls appear simultaneously out of no where and stare at her as she says

"Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo?"

She says with pursed lips, her brows furrowing as nothing happens, Fay then repeats bibbidi-bobbidi-boo again. This time, her wand sparkles as she waves it around. As she flicks her wand, the book jumps out of her hands and onto the concrete in front of the two girls who appeared suddenly

"No, I wanted to speed read, not for my reading to speed."

Fay says to herself as she quickly makes her way over, attempting to pick up her book, which jumps away from her as she tries to grab it. She looks up to the two girls who are staring at her in shock, "Hi, excuse me where did everybody go?"

The blue haired one asked while looking around in confusion, Fay gives the girl a weird look as she picks her book up

"Everywho?"

The blue haired girls eyes widen, and she then continues."All the royal families of Auradon they were just here?"

Fay purses her lips as she looks at the two girls with a confused look, as she has been the only person outside and has no clue what the blue haired girl is talking about

"What's Auradon?"

Fay says before letting out a gasp. As her book goes flying from her arms and down the hall, the group stare in the direction the book goes

"I have to go catch my homework!"

Fay quickly replies before running off down the hallway, the two girls are left staring in shock as she runs away

"I swear what is wrong with this wand."

Fay says to herself as she continues to chase the book that had a head start down different hallways before making it to the court ward, the book makes it to near the fountain before a green mist lifts it up

"Lose something?"

A teasing tone can be heard from the darkened corner of the courtyard, as the book is floated towards Fay before being plopped into her arms

"You could say that."

Fay answers as she looks up and sees Maleficent and Hades sitting on a bench table close to where the VK's hang out in the courtyard, Hades looks up to Fay, "What went wrong this time?"

Fay lets out a sigh as she takes a seat on the edge of the waterfountain, and flicks her wand around, "The usual, I say 'Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo' and it doesn't workout how I planned."

As she said bibbidi-bobbidi-boo, her wand lights up and shoots a firework into the air, to which Fay fums in response, "Really now you decide to work."

She says as she waves the wand around in front of her clearly frustrated with how things have gone, she hears a hum

"At least your able to cast spells even if it's not the kind of spell you hoped for?"

Maleficent said awkwardly to try and bring comfort to the other fairy, to which Hades nods along to as he stares at Fay, "You've done well, so far you even managed to get a better score then Marywheather."

Fay nodded as she looked down at her lap, "Thanks, I just don't understand, Mal, you have perfect control over your powers, and the other fairies like Marywheather, Flora, and Fauna, they can cast any spell they please."

Fay said as she rants about how amazing everyone else is at having control over their abilities, while she fumbles every time

Before Maleficent or Hades could say anything they hear in the distance

"Cause the sunshines a little more brightly."

The two give a nod to Fay before walking off into the darker part of the courtyard and disappear into the overgrowth, while Fay makes her way to a bench and sits down while reading her book, then Bridget, Ella, and the two new girls make their way towards her and Bridget holds out her tray, "Guess I'm here for a spell, even though it really never works out well for me, one wave of my wand and it's whoopsie."

Fay says as she closes her book, waving her wand around, before taking a cupcake, biting into it, causing her wand to turn a bright pink color

Once their group is done singing the VK's come out from the overgrowth

"Look for a hand, find a golden hook, Captain of the seas, I got em all shook."

James Hook says as he leads with his hook forward towards the crowd of AK's, then Morgie pops out."Son of Morgana, Serpentine, Morgie's the name better run and hide."

Then Hades and Maleficent walk into view together, "Hades here from the fiery depths."

"Sharp as a thorn I'm Maleficent."

Then Hook and Morgie go to the center together to introduce Uliana, the little sister of Ursula

"I'm not your everyday villain, I'm taking souls for living."

Fay purses her lip as she looks between Hades and Uliana before focusing back on Uliana's introduction, she finishes the introduction and the two new girls look around before Bridget says, "She's Ursula's baby sister."

Fay watches from the back as both groups circle each other, the VK's trying to intimidate the AK's while the AK's try to bring the VK's to the good side, then Uliana's focus shifts to the plate of cupcakes and Bridget holds them out towards her."Thanks."

"Oh sure, of course, happy too."

Uliana smirks as she allows her tentacles to come out of her back, "For all."

The crowd watches as Uliana uses her tentacles to snatch the tray from Bridget, the group of girls around her gasping, Uliana chuckles a she lifts the tray close to her hand, "I mean flamingo feathers are like super rare right?"

Ella steps forward and infront of Bridget, giving Uliana a glare

"Hey, give that back to her!"

To which Uliana cackles and answers, "Sorry, I don't speak peasant, love your oufit, by the way. it's just so put together."

Uliana then uses her tentacle to rip the sleeve of Ella's jean outfit she'd sowen for herself

Fay's eyes travel from them to Hades and Maleficent, giving them a pointed look, as Hades circles around the group of girls before making his way back to Maleficent, she then looked to Charming to see his reaction before turning her head back to the scene of chaos as Uliana continues

"My names Bridget, and I need to bribe people with treats to make people be my friends because im such a loner."

The other blue haired girl steps forward with a sword pointed a group, which Hook simply moves away with his hook and moves closer to her

"I don't know where you come from, but around here we don't fight till after school, met me then?"

The girl pushes him away and crosses her arms, "You wouldn't stand a chance."

The group of VK's laughs, then the red-haired girl steps forward, "Listen squidface give the cupcakes back or I'll rip that magic tongue out of your throat."

Uliana tsks, "Girl, I only wanted the feathers you can have the rest."

She says and drops the plate, leaving the cupcakes smashed onto the ground, Bridget narrows her eyes and purses her lips as she watches Uliana slowly bring the flamingo feathers to her mouth

"Wait! That's too many."

Uliana simply giggles in response and swallows the feathers before looking at the group of AK's with a deviously grin and snaps her fingers, while Bridget wears a worried look, "You shouldn't of done that."

Uliana side eyes her as she brings out a little mirror and starts preening herself, "I'm sorry, you're just jealous of my fabulosity."

Nobody notices the bits of pink that appear in her eyelashes as she preens herself and continues, "You can't handle my-"

Before Uliana could finish, she let's out a bird like noise as feathers come from her mouth. In shock, she brings a hand to her mouth, her eyes widening, as she slowly turns pinker, gasps can be heard, then she says, "What was that."

Before letting out screams and falling to the ground, turning pinker by the second, Fay, watching the situation unfold

"Somebody should help her!"

Fay says as she steps forward and closer to the group, Hades looks up at her and then brings a finger up, "Yeah, somebody should help her."

He said in a bored tone as Maleficent lightly hit him on the chest, giving him a look before looking back a Fay for a moment before her eyes go back to Uliana, watching as Morgie falls back with Uliana's jacket as he tried to help her

When Uliana finally gets back up, she's entirely pink from her hair to having pink feathers all over her face and a long beak. She glares at Bridget and makes a bird like noise before she begins to chase the two girls. The entire crowd follows behind them to watch, more of the chaos unfold

As the crowd finally gets there, they watch as Uliana chases closely behind Ella and Bridget, then Maleficent and Hook pop out of one of the corridors, "Hello Darling! I just want to have a little chat with your friend."

Morgie and Hades pop out of the other corridor but are more laid back and simply watch the scene, Uliana chases Bridget around the fountain before they both hop up along the edge, it's only when Ella pulls Bridget back to her that Uliana falls over loosing her balance, when she resurfaced she was completely back to normal, but soaked, "This isn't over!"

Uliana runs away through one of the corridors screaming while the crowd bursts out laughing before everyone leaves in separate direction, still talking about it, but going about their business

Fay walks over to Maleficent and Hades, who are now seated at one of the picnic tables in the corner

"Why did you let her do that?"

She questioned as she took a seat across from them. They both looked at each other before looking back at Fay across from them

"What would us saying anything do?"

Maleficent answers as she fiddles with the collar of Hades jacket, "Fay, we all have roles to play."

He says to her as they hold eye contact, before Fay looks down and nods

"Don't worry about it, she'll get over it nothing bad will happen."

He tries to reason to smooth things over with the upset fairy

"If you say so."

Fay crosses her arms before sighing, and it had been a long day of messing up spells and then watching a verbal brawl take place, Maleficent smiles and reaches her hand over to Fay and squeezes her arms gently

"Why don't after school we met up at the enchanted lake?"

Maleficent asked in an aloof manner, trying to hide her excitement, Hades looked at the two back and forth before nodding along to the idea

"Yeah, it's been a while since we've had time with just the three of us."

The two VK's lean forward both trying to hide their excitement, but their eyes told different stories as they were glued on Fay's brown ones

"Alright, but after school, I can't get caught skipping, my mother would kill me."

The two nod while they try not to break out into big smiles, to which Fay smiles at the two as they try to keep their cool facade up

"See you then."

Fay answers as she leaves, as the two plan out what they'll do at the enchanted lake

You sit in class, silent as usual, working on bookwork by your lonesome.

You'd moved to Merlin's Academy months ago, but had been to shy to make any friends. You didn't really need them anyways, you were just fine blanketed in your silence and loneliness.

Beside you sits Maleficent, halfway attendant to the lesson as she writes the notes down in her book. She holds a black pen in her right hand, her left hand holding her head up.

As you fall behind, thank the teacher for flipping through the slides too quickly, you shyly look over at her, too nervous to get her attention. She looks over at you, having sense your eyes burning into her skull.

"Uhm," you whisper. "Did you get six and seven?" you nervously ask, unable to hold eye contact.

She lightly smiles in response and turns her book a bit so you can see the answers on the page. You shoot her a little smile before quickly writing them down, whispering a thank you as well.

"No need to be shy, hun."

You didn't have a public opinion about the VK's. You really couldn't care less, you just wanted to stay out of their way. But that also went for the other kids too, they could be mean.

But, your natural fear of people was at it again. You didn't know where to sit since your little table had been stolen in the cafeteria today. But, Morgie Le Fay, a VK, approaches you, a little excited to ask you the question that follows.

"Hey, would you wanna sit with us?"

He points back at his group, all half watching you two from their table.

"Uhm..." you try to inspect his expression, trying to decode if he was being fake or not. "Uh, sure"

He smiles, grabs your hand, and quickly leads you to the table. You sit down next to him, shyly picking at your food, listening to their conversation.

Morgie quietly speaks to you, seeing your abnormal behavior. "No need to be shy, we're nice, I promise" He smiles. "What's your name?"

"Y/n" You answer, sounding a little disinterested.

"Wait," Hades quickly looks up at you, "Y/n, like P/n, like Y/n L/n?"

You nod, sticking a celery stick in your mouth.

Hook chuckles. "Cool"

Morgie looks back at you with a soft smile.

"Told you we're nice"

A few days had passed since you sat at the VK's table. You decided to sit with them from now on since they were actually nice to you, and you never ended up getting your table back anyway.

Physical education wasn't your strong suit. Why you needed to know how to use a sword anyways was beyond you.

Though, James Hook was in your class, which was a little nice. You'd been paired with him today, though you were too shy to actually talk to him.

He slings an arm around your shoulders, which quickly tense up under his touch. He leans forward, looking at you, seeing your gaze stuck forward.

"Are you alright, new kid?"

You nod.

"Not know how to use a sword?" He asks, a little amused.

You shake your head.

"I can teach you" He shrugs, "Not that hard"

He notices your odd silence.

"Y'know, you don't have to be shy. I won't cut your hand off, love"

Hades works beside you in potions class, his eyes looking like he was barely attentive at 8am. You'd quickly gotten confused and mixed up with the directions, having stopped yourself to stare at the book, trying to figure out what you were even doing. Curse these textbooks riddled in poems and old English.

Hades notices your still silence, furrowing his brows as he looks at you. He tilts his head, realizing you need help.

"Do you need help?" he asks.

You look at him, then back at the book, and nod, handing it to him. He holds the book in his hand, his finger following the words he read in his head.

"You're very quiet" he comments.

You shrug.

"Okay, so, add the eye of newt, then stir, then add the witch's spit."

"Okay, thank you," you thank him quietly, setting the book back down on your desk.

He nods. "Don't gotta be shy, you can ask for help," he shrugs. "You're cool."

"Thanks..."

Over the course of the past few months, Uliana and her friends had kind of dragged you into their group. They seemed to be the only people who spoke to you first, pulling you into them. So, you began to trust them more and talk to them a bit more, too.

The only one you hadn't had a personal run-in with was Uliana herself.

But now was that time.

She'd brought you to the Black Lagoon, tentacles loosely wrapped around your waist and shoulders as you lead you further through the woods. Your steps are small and cautious, reeking nervousness.

She stops, looking at you. "There's no need to be shy, darling. C'mon, I want to show you something amazing"

In a world of princesses, princes, knights, evil fairies and gods you were neither, perhaps one could say you were even less, a commoner, a plebeian with the most average sprinkle of magic yet to set foot in Merlin Academy again. Never a stand out and when your voice was heard it was almost as if the room could swallow it whole for how little it mattered in the grand scheme of things.

What would you be when you graduated? A tug? A squire? Perhaps if lucky an advisor or even a right hand confidant of a big name hero or villain. Maybe just a normal baker, who's to say, after all, the unremarkable have their own gift, destiny, profecies and duty wasn't yours to claim after all, so your life is yours and yours alone to mold, change, waste, thrive and live.

But oh that doesn't mean you can't impact lives, no, rather the opposite, you can be the last straw or the first domino that will never see the finish line but will be remembered as fondly and bitterly as the eyes that saw you last.

And our story starts not by your eyes, but by hers, a young fary sits bored out of her mind in a perfect, dreadful, evening at detention with the fools she calls… allies…. Yes, that felt… correct enough, and with the infant God she could only denominated as a passing interest at best, a boyfriend at worst.

Morgie, being the little snake that he is, can't keep still and out of the woods for long before he starts budging the magical reinforced windows, she won't blame him, after all she herself did the same thing some months ago and now the windows have a reflective spell to “keep students safe”, as if they didn't threw out weaklings out of those even before her… “sneeze incident”, as if she could even make mistakes, that was a purposeful fire breaking breath right into the window's direction and not because Uliana's cologne was too strong that day, absolutely preposterous of principal Merlin to spread that ridiculous rumor about her, she had to curse twice the students to shut their giggles that week all because of that pompous old man.

James had given up cheering for Morgie and now laid back, boots staining the desk shining his golden rook and by his pout being extremely disappointed in his eyeliner not being as sharp as it was 20 minutes ago.

“Uliana~” he called, a melodic tune echoing in the almost empty classroom “dear, scariest witch of the sea, seafoam of my dreams”

“call me that one more time and I'll give your other hand to tictoc as a gift asshole” the leader of this little band of mischief smirked, pointing her little switchblade at him, she sat at the teacher's desk, marking one more tally to their monthly visit and, before being interrupted, curiously checking to see if new marks were made by new potential allies “what do you want?”

“do you have that miraculous eyeliner in you again? I think I missed a spot” the young sea witch rolls her eyes in amusement and one single tentacle leaves her back, the black tube almost reaching Hook's good hand, then it doubled back and threw it in his bad hand's direction, the boy caugh it without much fuss and dangled it in her direction, wiggling his eyebrows in victory.

“your parents should have named you Narcissus”

“and you should try being a pitcher to this years baseball team”

“you would be too good for them tho” the young God spoke from behind the black fary, playfully passing the same blue flame around his fingers “I saw Jame's fumble a bit this time”

The door of the class is slammed open by what Maleficent can smell is the dire's magic, his voice getting closer and closer, Uliana decides to move to the closest chair, not interested in prolonging the tedious lesson with an extra 15 minutes of more lecture.

“I'm again so thankful you could come dear” Merlin's voice echoed inside “it's so hard to find generous students like yourself, always ready to help the ones with the most difficulty”

All teens roll their eyes and look at each other's direction just to confirm that they weren't just hallucinating the most basic and fakest sweet talk to ever exist, and by all means they did experience each “baby's first manipulation” attempt, and they were not as fake sounding as his.

“you are too kind professor” the nervous little laugh gave away whoever they were wasn't as ingenious as half this school seemed to be ”I did say i wanted to try everything once at least in my years resolution papers, and I mean it”

“such admirable dedication to academics I sure hope you pass a little bit of that for this… study… group” the hesitation in Marlin's voice made Morgie snort and fall to the ground, wich made Hook tremble and poke his own eye, which prompted him to swing his hook in ager back, ready to curse the son of Morgana, but his hook went flying off its place hitting Hades’ foot, making the God scream in pain, losing control of the little flame that hit the teacher's desk making if catch fire so bright it flames so wild that a stray one reaches Uliana's pants.

It is in that moment that you and professor Merlin walk in the class, the VKs growling and cursing at each other in the middle of chaos. The professor calmly puts the fire out, as does Uliana, Hook grabs his hook back, Morgie scrambles to go back to his seat, Hades takes a deep breath, hair turning back to it's blue hue and Maleficent holds the biggest ugly laugh she can fell boiling from the deeps of her core.

Your eyes travel slowly through the most infamous trouble makers of this school, from Uliana's defiance, to Hook's flirtatious, Morgie's mischievous, Hades’ unimpressed and Maleficent's cold stare. Taking a deep breath and clenching your bag you turn 180 degrees and start marching out of class, professor Merlin was not so happy with your attitude since he decided to grab your shoulders firmly and smoothly turn you back around.

“today class, a very generous classmate offered to help me supervise you all” Merlin smiles “which is just so great because I'm need for a very important meeting and am already-”

And in that moment you made the biggest mistake you could have made that day, you defied the authority figure right in front of the punks wannabes of Merlin Academy “absolutely not” you dance around his grasp and just didn't bolt out right in that instance because the old man was blocking your path.

“now now” your name falls from his lips as if he's talking to a child “I know you have the good it takes to help those unfortunate individuals”

“I don't have shit!” you could feel all eyes turning to you, the class has your attention.

“language child!”

“I could teach math and potions and curses and counter curses to anyone, but being responsible for a whole class that will harass me to death if I don't let them out was not in our agreement sir“ you try to dance around the sorcerer again.

“watch your tone, those are very heavy accusations”

“yes we would never do something like that” Uliana puts more log to this blazing circus as Morgie tries to hide better the straw and paper balls he just finished doing in broad daylight for all to see.

Merlin cleans his throat, bringing attention back to him as he side eyes the girl “as I was saying, it will only be for some minutes! I'll be back as soon as possible” the headmaster starts to get out of the door still facing the class “I'm sure you can handle them”

She looks you up and down, judging from you clothes to your hair to your posture, her month forms a thin line as she thinks in how to describe you ”comum, sticking it to that old man was kinda impressive”

You rest your head in the door, a defeated sigh leaves your lips with your name in it, Uliana tests it a few times and sits in the closest table “you don't happen to have famous parents do you?”

“take a guess” you mumble, choosing to sit down and accept your fate.

“that explains why I don't remember seeing you around here”

“we are in the same classes…”

“I skip those, anyways, so the headmaster is in a meeting? Do you know what class it’s happening in? ”

“why would I know?”

“You two just seemed so close y'know” You roll your eyes, a headache already forming inside your head.

“he got my name wrong but sure whatever makes my life easier, did any of you try breaking the windows?”

“Morgie dear was just about to start biting them” an offended “hey” can be heard in the background as the boy momentarily stops gossiping with his friend.

“do you know if it's a spell? A charm? A ward? We need to get going and I think you would be happy with us gonne too”

“it could be a potion for all that i know”

“you are quite useless aren't you?” her eyes lock with yours, daring you to fight back… you double down.

“you have no idea” you raise your chin and summon your biggest smile “a snail is more useful than I!”

You immediately let your facade down, head resting between your closed arms “just leave me be and continue doing whatever it is that you do”

The girl grins in amusement “aren't you spunky, color me impressed” she gets out of your table and lowers herself to your eye level “I see some potential, we could be friends, what do you say?”

“...” for a moment, the young sea witch thinks “hook, line, and sinker” but her expectations are shattered as you point behind her and says “your rescue has arrived”

Turning around she sees her little group of misfits, the ones that were still out there one stacked on top of the other, curse book in hand, they wave excitedly to her and signal for all to move out of the way.

Hades immediately gets up pulling Maleficent with him, and a blast breaks the glass “it wasn't supposed to shatter it!” The caster panics, making their little tower lose balance and fall, hopefully they weren't hurt too badly.

Uliana sighs annoyed, but moves to the window anyway “out we go then! Don't think I forgot about you, I'll be keeping a close eye, and if you change your mind, you can find us it's not that hard” she looks at you as her four tentacles graciously take her down and out of detention.

Hook winks at your direction and jumps out “pleasure meeting you sweet, sorry we couldn't talk longer schemes to make, pranks to pull you know the drill”

“bye!” Morgie waves at you as he also jumps out.

Hades moves to leave, a half wave at your direction as he waits for the horned fae take his hand, Maleficent looks at you up and down, he eyes lock with yours, they glow a neon green and you feel as there are eyes everywhere “see you around”

At least it's only you, the shattered window and deep feeling of dread creeping in your back.

Place they’re insecure about affection when you first start dating Headcanons

Warnings: insecurities and fear of causing harm, a couple parts sound suggestive but I promise that’s not the intent 😭

Hook:

His left wrist

Probably not a huge surprise; the skin is just really sensitive there (he had no problem letting you hold his hook as if you were holding his hand from the very beginning though)

Similarly, he’s sensitive about his neck, as it’s a vulnerable spot for him

They are a literal and metaphorical weapon (and just very dangerous and sharp) and showcase her power and strength

So, feeling your hands placed on them in kindness creates fear and confusing emotions within her

After a while, it becomes something comforting to her to be able to feel the sturdy grip on her horns

Its an internal struggle at first because he loves when you hold him and trace his skin

But when you’re touching the mark, it’s a harsh reminder to him of what he is, and how badly that may effect you should he ever do something that hurts you

As time goes by and he’s assured your safety isn’t endangered, it’s makes him melt when you touch him there with such care

His hair

You love being able to ruffle up his soft hair, but when you first did it, he yanked your hands away and accidentally hurt your feelings

He’s afraid that one day you’ll be touching his hair, and it’ll light on fire and burn your precious hands

He practiced a lot after that on making warm flames that don’t burn anything, so now you get to enjoy having your fingers in his hair all the time

Uliana:

Her back

This is where her tentacles are, and she’s always had fears of people trying to hurt them/damage them/remove them

The first time you placed a hand on her back, they shot out and pushed you away with such force on instinct

she felt so bad she hurt you, and tried to make things easier on herself by letting you pet her tentacles (and touching her back with her knowledge in a safe environment)

Bridget sat bored in class, her head resting on one of her hands as her feet kicked back and forth under the desk. As much as she loved Merlin’s classes, they tended to drag on when they weren’t doing any sort of practical work. The singular hour that they were in the room seemed to stretch on for days and it didn’t help at all that it was the last lesson before they were free to do as they pleased. 

Ella sat next to her, carefully taking notes as Merlin taught at the front of the room, occasionally writing what seemed to be nonsense on the chalkboard. Bridget knew it would be smarter for her to just pay attention now so she wouldn’t have to beg Ella later for her notes but she couldn’t bring herself to focus on the teacher for more than a few moments at a time, all the information he was spouting going in through one ear and out the other. 

It was honestly exhausting just sitting there. Bridget was ready to go up to her dorm and take a nap until dinner time then maybe make some sort of sweet treat afterwards that she could share around. She didn’t know what she would make but she knew she was itching to stand in front of her homemade mini-kitchen and get back to what she loved doing. 

Letting her eyes dance around the classroom after they instinctively went back to the clock hanging on one of the walls, seeing how they still had another twenty minutes to go before class was over, Bridget resorted to some sightseeing, attempting to find something that could keep her occupied while she waited for the bell to ring. 

Most of the students in the room, like her, seemed to be too bored to comprehend what was happening in front of them which could only be Merlin’s fault as he should’ve known better than to give anyone a theory lesson as their last class on a Friday. 

Like most days, Bridget noticed Uliana terrorising some of her classmates with her tentacles, trying to be discreet about it. At her side sat Morgie, which Bridget wasn’t surprised to see. Laughing almost uncontrollably at whatever it was that Uliana did, Morgie was always attempting to be a good villain for her. Another thing Bridget wasn’t surprised to see was Hades and Maleficent sat next to one another, their hands interlocked while Maleficent sketched something on some scrap paper and Hades messed around with some sort of fire magic. 

What Bridget was however surprised to see was Hook sitting by himself and staring directly at her. Normally he would be the one sitting next to Uliana, if not he would drag Morgie into the seat next to him so he was never by himself. But to see him alone and staring directly at Bridget was a shock, especially when he didn’t look away once he noticed Bridget had caught onto his stare. 

Blinking a few times to make sure she wasn’t seeing things, Bridget came face to face with Hook every time she opened her eyes. Not knowing what to do, a shy smile made its way onto her face to not seem rude under Hook’s stare. 

What Hook did next though threw her for a loop.

A smile of his own crept its way onto Hook’s face, the grin being more of a smirk than anything else. His eyes slowly crept up and down Bridget's frame before sending a wink her way, making a pink hue dust her cheeks as she zapped back around and faced the front of the classroom.

“Are you okay,” Ella asked, noting how Bridget was sitting with her spine straight and a flustered expression on her face. Still taking notes as she waited for an answer, Ella’s eyes ticked up to where Bridget was attempting to glance over her shoulder without getting caught and failing to do so. “Did something happen?”

“Nope,” Bridget quickly said, hands coming together and interlocking. Although Ella wasn’t born to much status like Bridget was, she could still notice when someone’s Princess was showing and that was exactly what was happening here as Bridget gushed to herself. Something regarding a boy had just happened and Ella was going to figure out what and who it was no matter what. “Everything is perfectly fine and normal. No reason to be worried at all.”

“Saying that just makes me more suspicious,” Ella warned, noticing how Bridget tensed up a little before sighing, almost as if her resolve was breaking. With just a little more pressure, Bridget would spill everything to her but it seemed like not much effort would be needed from Ella as Bridget was already undoing herself, fidgeting in her seat as she tried not to look back and giveaway who it was. Stopping for a moment before Ella looked back herself to see who it was, she rested a hand on Bridget’s arm and said, “It’s fine Bridget, you can tell me anything. I’m certainly not one to judge you.”

“You’re right,” Bridget smiled, returning the favour and grabbing onto Ella’s wrist, running a thumb over it. “I just noticed someone staring at me and…” “And you think they’re cute?” Ella finished the sentence for her, one of her eyebrows raising at Bridget as she waited for a response. Thinning her lips together, Bridget nodded her head, the blush that was previously coating her cheeks intensifying. “Okay, who is it?”

“Well…” Bridget trailed off, her eyes flicking backwards before looking back at Ella. With a nod of her head in his direction, the two of them looked back at the same time to see Hook still staring at Bridget, the same smirk still coating his face. His eyes didn’t move from Bridget’s face, solely focused on her and not even acknowledging Ella. Raising his hand that wasn’t occupied with a hook, Hook blew a kiss towards Bridget, a chuckle pouring from his mouth when both Bridget and Ella whipped back around.

“Did he just?” Bridget started, not having to finish her sentence for Ella to understand.

“Yeah,” She nodded, just as surprised as Bridget. This was news to Ella. She would have to do a serious amount of stalking and research before she let that pirate anywhere near her friend but for now, it wouldn’t hurt. “Looks like you won’t have to look too hard for a Castlecoming date.”

Bridget should be worried. Should be concerned that Uliana and her gang could find them hiding any minute and do a manner of unspeakable things to them. But all she can focus on is Ella. And the way her curls plaster to her forehead in just the right way that she looks like an angel. A knight in shining armor. Willing to hide for Bridget’s safety. The cold drawing blood to her face and plumping her lips. 

Bridget’s moving in the next second, unable to stop herself. Pressing her lips against Ella’s and getting lost in the feeling. 

Ella startles,  hesitating before kissing back slightly. She pulls away, confused, “Bridget? I-“

“Practice!” Bridget spits out on instinct, her go to excuse for the past five months, “It’s practice Ella. For your future charming.”

Ella nods, although she doesn’t look completely convinced, “Sure… just practice.”

Bridget can ignore the way her unease stabs her chest, can ignore the humiliation of having to hide from Uliana, can ignore the emotions pressing behind her eyes, can ignore it all as long as Ella keeps choosing her. Keeps letting her indulge in this compulsion. Keeps letting her kiss her and keep up the charade that no feelings are involved.

Maleficent x Fay x Hades

Summary: Hades and Maleficent take Fay on a date to the Enchanted Lake.

Maleficent and Hades had spent the rest of the school day and skipping class periods to plan out a date at the Enchanted Lake for Fay, all the way down to attempting to bake a blueberry pie, long story short they ended up ordering one to be delivered to the school entrance while skipping the history of spells and magic, Maleficent looks around and critiques how Hades is setting up everything around the Enchanted lake.

"No, it has to be closer to the lake and a little to the left."

Hades lets out an exhausted sigh as he moves the blanket for the third time over to a different place that Maleficent has deemed worthy till she finds something wrong with that place. "I don't think she expects five star catering. It's just a little date we put together last minute, so we could spend time with her."

He says in hopes that it'll stop the perfectionist in Maleficent from being a tyrant. "The light shines too much there. She'll be covering her face the whole time, move it back!"

It wasn't until Maleficent herself took over putting it where she thought was best was she finally satisfied, with her hands placed on her hips and a big smile as she set up the picnic basket. "See, it wasn't that hard, Hades."

She hears a scoff in the background as she continues to pluck anything she believes to be imperfect out of the way or simply uses her magic to move it.

"Fay, better like this."

The moment Maleficent hears Hades whisper that she bursts out laughing. "Oh, don't worry, I'll say it was all you if she doesn't."

Maleficent looks over her shoulder to see Hades with his mouth gaped as he dramatically places a hand over his heart.

"Oh, I'm just kidding, don't worry, we can both take the fall if she doesn't, but I am curious. Should we tell her about Uliana's plan?"

Hades crosses his arms as he looks around, deep in thought before letting out a sigh. "Probably not. It'll only upset her more, and we're already a little on thin ice from this morning. You heard her when we're sat at the bench with her after the whole cupcake-flamingo thing happened."

The fairy nodded as she bit her lower lip, thinking over what the god had said. "You don't think she'd ever be mad enough to leave us, right?"

in this moment, Maleficent showed a rare moment of vulnerability that VK's rarely ever showcased.

"Truth? I don't know, but if that's what makes Fay happy, then we'll let her."

Hades gently patted Maleficent's back as she took in his words. "Fay is better than that she's not like the other goodie-two-shoes"

She said firmly as she got up and took a step back to admire her work, how everything was set up perfectly just the way she'd wanted. "I'll stay here while you go get her, I have to make sure nothing ruins this."

Maleficent beckoned Hades away from the picnic set up, as she basically guarded it with her life til Fay eventually arrived, but as she waited, she continued to nit-pick little things that she believed to be out of place

Meanwhile, Fay was currently consoling Bridget with Ella, as the two new girls walked away to talk about weird stuff that made no sense to her. "How they treated you was completely out of line."

Fay said firmly as she watched Bridget rub her arms and shake her head. "I still should go apologize, I can't believe that happened."

Ella gently guided Bridget to sit down on one of the vintage chairs and sat across from her onto the coffee table. "No, you have no reason to apologize to them."

She looked back and forth from Ella to Fay as she still wore a very somber expression, Fay then popped up and began waving her wand around and sang bibbidi-bobbidi-boo, as her wand sparkled, the two girls looked at her as she flicked her wand towards the coffee table that Ella sat on and a tray of treats appeared next to her along with tea cups and playing cards.

"When did you get so good at using your wand?"

Ella asked in disbelief as she watched random treats appear left and right surrounding her before a plate appeared in her lap with a slice of blueberry pie.

"I had a little pep talk, i guess you could say."

Fay answered, as she took the plate with the slice of blueberry pie off of Ella's lap and took it for herself. "Now who's to say I wasn't gonna eat that?"

She asked with her hands on her hips as she eyed Fay up and down, which made Bridget giggle. Both girls turned their heads to her and smiled. "There's the happy Princess of Hearts we all know and love."

Ella got up from her place on the coffee table and hugged Bridget close to her as she smiled at Fay and gave her a wink before turning her attention back to Bridget, Fay smiled at the pair before looking out the window where she saw a familiar hand waving a ball of fire around. "I'll be back in a bit."

Fay tells the group before running off through one of the corridors and outside where Hades is standing and snuffs out the fire in his hand. "Good, I thought I was gonna have to walk in there if you didn't see me any sooner."

She gives him a smile and walks up to him, Fay tilts her head curiously, wondering why he showed. "Right, I was ordered to come pick you up and bring you to the Enchanted Lake, I was also instructed to drag you there if you ran away."

Fay giggled at his explanation before nodding and allowing him to lead the way, the further away from school they got, Fay reached out and held onto his wrist knowing he'd be to bashful to hold hands even if they were outside of anyone's watchful eyes. "So what did you two agree on?"

Hades looked her, clearly not expecting her to question him on what they'd planned out for her. "You know, Mal really wants it to be a surprise."

She gives a little pout at his answer, but turns her head smiles shyly, getting giddy at the thought of going on a date with the two VK's that'd planned every bit of it, from the location to what'd they'd be doing.

"But, Mal is worried about you liking what we've planned out?"

He tells her as they slowly make their way to their destination, Fay looks up at him worriedly as she gently squeezes his wrist. "Why?"

"You know how she is she hyperfixates and overthinks, but she's mainly worried you'll leave us."

Hades explains further as he wraps his arm around her shoulders, bringing her closer to him as Fay furrows her brows and looks at the ground as they get closer, the red blanket finally coming into view. "Why don't you go prove her wrong?"

Hades leans down and whispers in her ear, gently shoving her forward towards where Maleficent is waiting, Fay comes stumbling out and over towards, Maleficent who jumps up worriedly as she quickly makes her way over to Fay and takes her hands. "What happened?"

Fay giggles and simply throws her arms around Maleficent's shoulders and wrapping her up into a big hug, while Hades lingers slightly further back leaned against a tree, watching the two interact. "I hope you like it."

Maleficent whispers into Fay's ear as she guides her over to the blanket set up and beckons Hades over, daring him to waste another second .

"This is beautiful, do you really do all this just for me, and look at this view, this had to be Mal's idea."

Fay boasted a she took the set up in, from the blanket all the way to how the light shined down on the Enchanted lake, while Maleficent's cheeks reddened as she became more embarrassed by the second. "Alright, that's enough, we didn't set this up for you to just stand there come, come, sit."

Maleficent tries to deflect Fay from pouring out anymore compliments by sitting down on the blanket and asking her to join her. "Yeah, and we made your favorite pie."

Hades added from his seat on a random stone near the blanket where the two sat.

"You two didn't make me pie."

Maleficent and Hades shared a look before looking back at Fay before whispering. "Fine it was ordered happy were frauds."

Fay chuckles in response to Hades admitting they didn't, in fact, bake the blueberry pie. "I'm sure it'll be good regardless if you actually made it or not."

She said as she cut herself a slice of blueberry pie and dug in. "I love this, but you shouldn't have skipped all those class periods."

She waves her finger as the two as she continues to eat away at the pie they'd ordered her, clearly giving into her guilty pleasure of blueberry pie. "But I can't be mad when you ordered me a blueberry pie, so it's forgiven."

Maleficent smiles and stares at Fay lovingly as she watches the other fairy basically devour the pie before dantly grabbing a napkin and dabbing her lips. "I'm glad you like it."

Hades gives a half smile before joining the two on the blanket and taking a cookie that they'd also ordered and nibbling on it. "I never knew you liked sweets."

Fay said in shock as she watched him go for another. "I'm not, but I do like oatmeal raisin."

The two fairies gave him a weird look the moment the words 'oatmeal raisin' left his mouth, he gave them a pointed look. "Oh come on at least I'm watching my figure and my health."

He argues before taking another oatmeal raisin from the basket and looking away from the two very judgmental fairies who were giggling to themselves. "Aw, come on Hades."

Fay said as she put a hand on his cheek and caressed along his jawline. "I think it's good you like oatmeal raisin."

He scrunches up his nose at her before smiling and then looking away from her and towards the lake.

"The sun will be going down soon."

He says as he stares out into the lake, the two girls also looking over as they watch the sky turn from a light blue to a golden orange hue. "This was the perfect place."

Maleficent looks to Fay, who's now laid between her and Hades. "I take credit for that."

Hades lifted his head and gives her a look. "Ay! I also deserve some credit who do you think set this stuff up like fifty times?"

He counters as Maleficent then lifts her head to look at him. "And who had to take over, so it was done correctly."

Fay giggles as she brings her hands over her face as she listens to the two bickering, but she knew she wouldn't have it any other way because she was their good fairy.

The VK's landed themselves in detention after attempting to steal the forbidden recipe book, which was expected to you, unexpected to them. You sit in the library, watching over them as they quietly chatter amongst themselves. You couldn't care less about what they did, as long as they were sat in their seats and behaving, you'd be happily enjoying your book.

"They're kind of cute" Hook whispers to Morgie.

Morgie shrugs. Uliana behind them leans forward. "They're an AK, shut your trap"

Hook shrugs, leaning back in his chair.

You glance up from your book, the obnoxious whispering getting on your nerves. "Please, just.. talk like normal people. The whispering is annoying as hell."

Hades and Maleficent snicker.

"Sorry!" Hook flatly replies. He looks to Morgie, the two sharing an eyeroll.

You turn back down to your book, feet resting on the desk in front of you.

"Whatcha reading?" Morgie asks, leaning forward.

You look up, not moving your head. "It's a little thing on magic, spells, and sorcery," you reply.

Uliana, Morgie, and Hook share looks. Meanwhile, Maleficent files her claws for nails while Hades paints his fingernails black with nail polish at the table beside Uliana.

"What kind of magic, spells, and sorcery?" Uliana asks, intrigued.

You shrug. "Like love spells, earworm spells, dumb stuff. I'm looking it over for a test"

"Are there any spells that could... maybe cause people harm?" She continues

You shrug, looking up at her. "Not in here, nor in any book in this library. Any books with 'dangerous' spells or magic in general are restricted"

The trio whisper amongst themselves before Hook slightly slaps Morgie's shoulder.

"Ehm-" Hook speaks. "Where are those books residing at, then?"

"Merlin's office," you answer. "There's a solid wall filled floor to ceiling in books. Such a shame, even if there's only one bad part, it has to be restricted"

"Yeah... how sad," Hook flatly replies, looking up at the clock, reading 3:59.

"So... if someone were to try and get access to those books?.." Uliana leads on

"I shouldn't really be giving away information on this, especially to VKs..."

Morgie quickly puts on his puppy dog eyes. "You know... not all VKs are that bad. We're just adventurous and curious, and people think we're evil because we accidentally do bad things"

Hook rolls his eyes, finding the gaslighting kind of not fun at all.

"Can you please tell us?" He continues. "We'll be your friends for life."

You sigh, your heart quickly falling for Morgie's lies. "Well, you'd have to sneak into his office, and some books have special magic locks on them, so you'd have to break through them. You could probably use some simple little spell, or probably melt them for that matter. I dunno for sure-"

"Alright, well, we're out of here. Thanks for all your help." Hook smiles

You watch as the group collect themselves before walking toward the nearest exit.

"Uh, yeah. Bye..."
