There’s something so sinister about the scene where Jeremiah is telling Conrad he appreciates how he’s looked out for him all this time and then follows it with “Belly and I are gonna take care of each other now. She’s my family.”

the pivot was HARD. it was INTENTIONAL. like he’s not only telling his brother “you don’t have to look out for Belly anymore. that is MY job”, but also telling Conrad that he doesn’t have to look out for HIM. He’s telling Conrad to his face that after this wedding, despite being his co-best man, that Jeremiah will not consider him his family anymore.

Belly may filling in the void Susannah left in Jeremiah’s life, but Conrad is the last true piece of his mother he has. And he’d give it away just because of this competition Adam’s put in his head :(

Conrad has been fighting for his LIFE not to lose his brother by trying to keep him happy where he can, but also protecting himself bc it’s painful for him to be around Adam and Jeremiah

rip Susannah you would’ve absolutely hated that Jeremiah is wrecking your family and your found family with one wedding

And if I said one of the reasons new Disney (channel) feels so disconnected and ingenuine is because they’re just pumping out content without trying to sustain it?

I was lucky enough to see the Descendants-Zombies Worlds Collide tour in Toronto the other day and it really clicked for me

THIS is like old dcom days. Worlds Collide is the kind of thing Disney should be doing to foster memorable media for the new generation

We used to be a PROPER country. All those Disney Channel actors coming together to do things like the Disney Channel Games and sing group covers? Disney actually supporting / giving their musical artists a platform

Disney Channel just isn’t fostering a collaborative environment for its young actors like they used to and that’s part because it’s no longer a channel, it’s all streaming and all the ad breaks are paying Disney to show their stuff, instead of ad breaks showing off more of the brand

And the crazy thing is there IS a community amongst the new Disney kids. The Descendants, Zombies, and Percy Jackson kids are mostly all friends or friendly. They speak fondly of each other and show up for each other (like Kylie Cantrall’s music videos). Disney could 100% tell them to get in the studio and make them do a group cover and they’d likely be happy to do so

Listening to the Descendants soundtracks back to back in prep for the concert, it made me really sad that this new gen — which are all so incredibly talented — are lowkey being wasted. Descendants albums used to have 3+ additional songs/covers in addition to the music from the movie. Descendants: The Rise of Red would have GREATLY benefited from having more than just Kylie’s cover of “Bad Reputation”.

Have them cover older Disney songs!! They had China sing Dig A Little Deeper for D3 Soundtrack when Uma isn’t at all related to Mama Odie, they could so make the Descendants cast cover anything regardless of if their character comes from the property

They are absolutely wasting the talent of these folks :( Dara 100% deserved an Ursula/Uma cover on the soundtrack like China got what are doing

Also, get those lads in the studio, I need the Worlds Collide tour recorded NOOOOOW
