i 100% believe [headcanon] that Hook, Morgie, Maleficent, and Hades aren't actually scared of Uliana at all. like she's not legitimately the leader of their little pack. they all just let her believe she is and laugh at her behind her back.
immmm gonna write a one-shot based around this.
#bc evil#it was soooo Maleficent's idea too#i also ship hook and morgie so hard but that's a whole other post#disney descendants#descendants#descendants rise of red#uliana descendants#James hook descendants#hook descendants#morgie le fay#morgie descendants#maleficent descendants#hades descendants

FOR MERLINâS SAKE || MORGIE LE FAY
pairings: morgie x merlinsdaughter!reader
summary: Merlin finds out his daughter is dating the son of his enemy, Morgie.
genre: angst, fluff, hurt/comfort
one-shot; wc: 1.8k â requested by @stargener
main masterlist morgie masterlist
a/n: it was so fun to write, although it took me a while to write, so i apologize for the long wait, i hope this was up to your expectation.
Sneaking out wasnât easy especially for Morgie, being friends with the VKâs was hard, cuz god forbid what would happen if he gets caught even TALKING to a royal, but dating one? He might aswell sign his death sentence, but for the first time in his life, he didnt care, he was willing to risk it all, still he was careful, the VKâs arenât the nicest people after all.
Y/n and Morgie have been dating for quite some time now, in secret of course, dating a goody two shoes is one thing, but dating merlinâs daughter is whole different thing.
Sure, Merlin allowed villains to enrol to his school but that doesnât mean he was fond of them, they were troublemakers after all, so god knows how he would react if he finds out his daughter is dating one.
Morgie was calmly making his way around the town near the academy, he was trying to look as normal as possible, but inside he couldnât wait to see his princess. Y/n and him had planned to meet at a cafe in town, where they provide private booths, so the two can finally feel like a normal couple at a cafe without anyone seeing.
When he arrived at cafe, he wasnât surprised to see the her were already there, always the punctual goody two shoes.
âAnd here i thought iâd surprise you by being earlyâ Morgie slid next to her, leaning down to kiss her.
âMhmm, as if youâll ever beat meâ Y/n said chuckling softly.
Morgie knew that being punctual was important to Y/n so he always tried his best to be on time even though at times he can be late.
âI hope you havenât been waiting long for meâ Morgie said as he grabbed the menu from the table before wrapping his arm around her shoulder as she leaned into him.
âI havenât, donât worry- oh! we should try that oneâ y/n pointed at the coupleâs special on the menu. It wasnât anything âspecialâ really, just a large strawberry milkshake with two straws, some whipped cream and a cherry on top.
âOhhhh, romanticâ Morgie teased âok, let me go order and iâll be right backâ he rubbed their noses together, before actually leaving to order.
Unfortunately when he left his booth, a certain group of people were entering their own booth saw him.
âWhatâs he doing here?â Hook asked with a confused look on his face.
âI dont know and i dont care, lets just orderâ Maleficent said before sitting down and grabbing the menu immediately with Hades following right behind her.
Meanwhile Hook and Uliana gave each other a look, deciding to stay hidden keeping a look at the booth Morgie just left, it was covered with a black curtain like the rest of the seats.
Morgie not noticing the prying eyes, hummed happily with their order in hand before entering their booth.
Uliana and Hook eyes widen at the sight, the daughter of their dear principal Merlin, on a date, with a villain? â
This is gonna be goodâ Hook and Uliana thought before joining Hades and Maleficent.
âOur little Morgie has been hiding a dirty little secret from us and heâll pay for itâ Uliana said maliciously.
âWhat is she talking about?â Hades asks Hook.
âHe is out on a date with y/n l/nâ he smirks.
Maleficents eyes widen âas in principal Merlins daughter, y/n l/n?â
âYepâ
Once y/n arrive back to her dorm, she was confused to see a letter from her father asking her to meet him in his office.
Upon arriving at her fatherâs office, y/n grew anxious at the absolute silence the place had, usually her father would clumsily searching for things but when she entered, the door behind her closed immediately, she saw her father at his chair rubbing his temples.
âDad? Is everything okay?â The girl asked as she walked towards her dad.
âSit.â The harsh tone of her usually nice father made her heart beat faster as she sat down as fast as she could.
âWhat happened?â She was met with silence.
âI want you to tell me the truth, y/nâ Merlin finally looked at her in the eyes.
âAre you dating Morgie Le Fay?â Her dad asked with cold voice.
Her heart pounded against her chest in panic, she could feel her lungs closing in, tears prickling her eyes, how did her father find out?
âWha-what? No! No, i-i would never!â She denied stuttering trying hard to convince her father with that one single sentence.
âY/n! WHY WOULD DATE A VILLAIN!?â Her father slammed his fist on the table.
âI told you, im not!â The girl continued to deny.
âTHE SON OF MY ENEMY!? SERIOUSLY!?â
âDad- NO! Iâm not dating anyone!!â
âStop with the lying! I donât want you anywhere near that boy ever again!â Her father warned
âWhat!? No!?â Y/n stood up, facing her father with a panicked looked on her face.
âIf youâre not dating him then avoiding him wont be a problem, right? If you go near him, i will know. Merlin said before leaving the room leaving his daughter alone.
âNo..â the girl whispered before sitting back down, her legs weak, heart heavy, sobbing her eyes out with no one to comfort her.
As days passed, Morgie continued to try and talk to her, it broke her heart to avoid him everytime but she didnât have a choice.
While she wasnât exactly sure how her father found out but she had an inkling feeling that it had something to do with the VKâs, snickering at her everytime they happen to pass by each other, i mean, how can they do this to their friend? To Morgie? But she guessed that villains will be villains.
Morgie on the other hand, was hurt and confused about why his girlfriend suddenly started ignoring him out of nowhere, he thought everything was fine between them.
The Vkâs was hanging out in the courtyard, Uliana making fun of Bridget and Ella as usual, normally he would be laughing along with them but today, he cant find it in himself to care, he stared into air thinking about everything he couldâve done to anger his girlfriend enough to ignore him. He canât wrap his head around it.
âRight, Morgie?â Hook nudged him chuckling.
âHuh?â Morgie asked, he didnt know what they were talking about.
âYou ok, Morgs?â Maleficent asked noticing the weird behaviour of her friend.
âHmm, yeah im fine, just tired, i think im gonna head back to my dorm nowâ Morgie said before standing up and walking away.
â its only 4 in the afternoonâ Hades said.
Hook and Uliana looked at each other with guilt.
Later that night, a knock was heard from outside of Morgies dorm.
âWhat?â Morgie asked annoyed at the interruption from his sulking.
âWe need to talk to you about somethingâ Uliana said, with a look ofâŚguilt? Nono, that canât be, Uliana doesnt feel anything other than hatred.
âWhat is it?â
âCan we come in?â
âSureâ Morgie said opening the door wider for them.
There was silence in the room, Morgie waiting for them to say something.
âWe were the one who told principal Merlin about your relationship with L/nâ Hook confessed.
âWHAT!?â Morgie was livid âARE YOU CRAZY!? THATS CRUEL!â he scoffed âEVEN FOR YOU PEOPLEâ.
âWeâre so-â
âHOW DID YOU EVEN KNOW!?â
âWhen you went to the cafe with herâ Uliana said hesitantly.
âAND YOU DIDNT EVEN TELL ME!? What? You just told the principal, without even confirming with me, i cant believe you guysâ Morgie was disappointed at his friends.
âLook, weâre sorry-â Hook started.
âYeah? Well, sorry isnt going to bring her back to me, is it?â Morgie glared at them.
âWe can helpâ Uliana pleaded.
âJust leave guys, i dont want to look at you right nowâ Morgie sat down on his bed with his back turned to them.
He felt pats on his back along with small apologies.
Meanwhile on the other side of the campus, you can find a girl in her bed sobbing her heart while listening to sad songs, when a knock was heard from her door, she knew that it was her father so she just ignored it but that didnt stop the bearded man to enter her room.
âI didnât answer the door bc i wanted you to come inâ the girl said sitting up from her bed and removing her headphones before brushing her tears away.
The mans heart broke at the sight of his daughters tear stricken face, he knew it was his fault, how miserable he made his daughter.
âOh sweetieâ the man sat next to his daughter.
âLook at you, i am so sorry, dear, i let my anger towards his mother get in the way of your relationship, i truly apologiseâ the dad caressed his daughters hair who looked at him shocked.
âWhat made you change your mind?â The girls asked.
âHe makes you so happy, dear, I cant bear to see you like this, i dont want to ever see you crying, especially because of meâ the dad explained, his tone filled with understanding and love.
âAre you sure?â The girl asked hopefully.
âYes. For a villain, heâs not so badâ he joked making the girl chuckle âas long as he treats you like the princess you are, you have my blessingâ
âOh!! Thank you, Dad!! Thank you, thank you, thank youu!!!!â Y/n hugged her dad tightly.
The next day, the girl didnt waste time to search for her dear boyfriend.
Both meeting in the courtyard of the school, running to each other as they fall into each others arms, tenderly kissing.
âIâm so sorryâ both of them said at the same time.
âWhy are you saying sorry for?â Y/n asks confused.
âIt was Hook and Uliana who told your father about us, they saw us at the cafe that day, im so sorryâ Morgie apologized.
âNo, it wasnât your fault, it was mine, my father didnt react well to us being together so i ignored you, im sorryâ the girl countered.
âI will beg principal Merlin to let us be together, i would do anything for youâ Morgie said connecting their foreheads together and caressing her cheek.
âYou donât have to, because we have his blessing â the girl stared into his eyes grinning.
âWhat? Are- are you serious!?â The boy said holding the girls face in his hands, the girl nodded to which the boy lifted her off the ground and span her around.
âOh! I canât believe this!â Morgie chuckled.
âWeâll finally be togetherâ Y/n said softly.
âForever.â

Just realized that in the present, Morgie is an adult- I canNOT imagine him as an adultđ Itâd be very ironic but very Disney if he became one of the most violent villains once he became older.

*ahem* it isn't a plot hole that Maleficent is in Rise Of Red ACCHSUALLY because she places the curse on Sleeping Beauty and it stays for 100 years, so the 'I was cursing entire kingdoms at your age' line is refering to her when she was Mals age, not Mals age + 100. We don't know whether Sleeping Beauty broke the curse by the time of Rise Of Red or not, but she might've just... Taken a break from caring about her to chill with her boyfriend for a bit idk her being at the school is the only part that doesn't make sense to me.
This one I'm NOT TOO SURE ON, BUT dark magic could be keeping her that young and the Isle just made her start aging normally again because she can't use magic there? Since in Descendants 3 the sceptre ages Mal and when she goes to the Isle it makes her go back to how she is normally.
Hades is another story entirely... #1, he's a god, so? Why is he at some random ass academy?? Did he just pull a Zeus and come to earth to get some then decide to stay because he fell in love with Maleficent??? I know they're basing it on the Disney movies because Disney, not the actual lore or myths that make up these characters, but Hades isn't even that bad compared to the other Gods anyway. Like I know this is an EXTREMELY common criticism of Descendants 3 in general but I like bringing it up.
Uh I don't know too much about Morgana so sorry Morgie but you're getting ignored for now.
I like how they're burying The Little Mermaid 2 it's actually making me giggle a bit, like they made an entirely new little sister of Ursula because they didn't want to deal with her previously established one. It makes me wonder why they just didn't use Ursula, though? She's not dead, because Uliana mentions her in Perfect Revenge as her being alive.
I have nothing to say about Hook tbh, given that Harry canonically really wants to be like him it's not surprising that their personalities are similar. I like his outfit. He's a great young Hook! I do wonder why Smee was never mentioned though.

âBlushâ Part Two Morgie le Fay x Merlinâs Kid! Reader
(A/N:Â A collaborative piece between @where-dreamers-go and @ivorydragoness44 for a continuation of two magic users who are crushing on each other: Reader who is headmaster Merlinâs kid attending Merlin Academy and Morgie, son of Morgana le Fay. Warnings:Â Awkward teenage-hood, mention of snakes, and use of (Y/N) for your name. Also Lain translations: facti sunt inanimati (become inanimate) / Ego amo te multum (I like you a lot) / acceptus (welcome/pleasing) Word Count:Â 4,740 words)
An outdoor common area wasnât crowded during your lunch time. Various seating and tables welcomed anyone outside of class time. The open area distributed voices into an easily ignorable murmur.
Your usual go-to reading spot in a comfy armchair was exactly what you needed after you had finished eating. Some time to yourself. Time to get a head start on assignments or study. You did neither.
A large volume on momentum spells sat upon your lap. There it laid open to the same two pages for the past ten minutes.
How did I not notice before?
You had been searching through any reliable memory for nearly twenty-four hours since Bridget had cleverly hinted of Morgieâs crush on you. In turn, you realized your own stirring feelings for him in such an odd fashion.
How could I not know my own feelings? You wondered. I know when Iâm happy or anxious, impatient, sad, or surprised. Definitely surprised. These feelings were obvious.
Blinking, you retained nothing from the pages before you.
How could you?
You had such a confounding and unanticipated revelation. It was as if you were questioning everything around you as it looked fresh and altered in a way.
Am I in the beginning or all ready in the middle of these feelings? You sighed. I just want it to make sense.
Not that there was much reason for your scurrying between classes the day before. All wrapped in your own mind and hardly making so much as a glance at anyone around you.
That anxious feeling and fluctuating levels of anticipation followed you into a new day. Always on the look out for a specific magically inclined student.
Two more classes and then heâll be in that one. Itâll be fine. It was fine yesterday.
A sway of greens and black caught your eye from further away. Passing chairs and laughing fairies.
Recognizing the figure only made your heartbeat pick up into a rhythm that made your fingers twitch.
Thoughts whirled in your mind and the large room felt too warm.
I canât.
Picking up your belongings you dashed around the armchair and sped out into the closer hallway.
I need a quieter place to study anyway, you reasoned with yourself. Your feet took you down a familiar path and soon you had your sights set on a corner seating area. Itâs totally normal to sit here, you thought, Iâve done it before. No one really comes here unless they need to. Itâs a big school.
Indeed, it was a large academy.
But, who else would sit outside the Headmasterâs office to study other than his offspring? Probably no one.
You sat a bit too upright against the cushions.
I just need to focus. Thatâs a skill.
Yet shame rose to your cheeks and chest as you considered your escape. A move quite cowardice.
The truth was simple: You were unprepared for the new situation. Having near romantic feelings, more than friendly, towards Morgie was not something you foresaw. The weather, sure, but not a crush. Not int the least.
All you could do was hope to get through the rest of the school day as smoothly as possibleâŚand maybe see Morgie. Maybe.
âď¸ âď¸ âď¸
Many questions could be asked within the halls of Merlin Academy. None were deemed silly, mostly.
Why is it called âbutterfliesâ when my stomach flips from seeing (Y/N)? Morgie thought while he strolled to class. Theyâre nice flips.
Hopping over someoneâs school bag, Morgie chuckled and quickly surveyed the common area with its tall windows. He saw the same students chatting animatedly, practicing magic, and keeping close to those they knew.
At the sight of a familiar shade of blue, Morgie felt those butterflies.
(Y/N)! Morgie came to a halt as he watched you speed walk through a threshold with a large volume tucked against you. I wonder what spell book theyâre reading now. Or history book.
Being gifted with magic himself, Morgie knew almost exactly how knowledgeable and skilled you were. Magic ran in both of your families. Strong and well-known.
A mental image of your eyes shining in magic filled him with a tickling warmth.
Very magical, he thought dreamily.
âď¸ âď¸ âď¸
Mathematics class; intimidating to some, aggravating for others, and a welcomed challenge by few students.
Sitting in the front row of desks made it easier for you to take diligent notes. Goodness knew how important it was for you, child of the knowledge-seeking Merlin. Especially when you continuously fought the urge to check windowsâ reflection.
It was just the right lighting. The perfect cloud cover outside. A subtle way to have a look at the classroom.
So what if you were curious?
Iâm just checking. Thatâs all, you thought as you glanced over to Morgieâs reflection.
After twenty minutes of repeating the action every so often it could no longer be considered âcheckingâ. No, you were studying Morgie. Observing how he presented himself in class, a learning environment. He didnât interrupt. Expressive, but not loud.
By the end of class, your notes could had been neater. An easy task for later.
You took your time leaving class. Slowly packing your belongings where they ought to be in your bag. Yet your eyes had began a habit.
You wanted to see him more. To see what might happen.
Is that a side effect of having a crush on someone?
Could you truly call it studying, something you were confident in doing?
Morgie squeezed passed a taller student while heading for the door. It was when he reached it that he looked over his shoulder and caught your gaze.
In the time it took you to hold back your gasp, Morgie had a flush rise up his neck.
Oh.
In a flash, Morgie left the classroom.
You blinked.
What does this even mean?
âď¸ âď¸ âď¸
Too much thumping. Too warm and flighty.
Morgie had never shoved and bounded down a hall so fast. Not for avoidance anyway. He had no idea what came over himself.
Eventually stopping underneath a tree, Morgie breathed in the fresh air.
Why does my face have to get so warm? He thought while fighting the urge to hit his forehead on the tree trunk.
Ulianaâs words from the day before rung in through his head: âA villain shouldnât be blushing; not over an honors student.â She had seemed so bewildered then by Morgieâs reaction to you.
It wasnât as if it was his fault. He didnât make himself blush on cue, nor did you. If Morgie had it his way, no one would had been able to tell how he liked you. He didnât want them to.
But (Y/N) probably knows, Morgie thought. Theyâre too smart not to know I like them. His heartbeat increased steadily.
Seeing your figure ascending a set of stairs took a short gasp out of Morgie.
I could say something.
The youth leapt from out of the foliage, took a few steps, and stopped. His chest felt like it was shaking with the rapid thumps of his heart.
Morgie swallowed. Hazel eyes watching nervously as you walked out of sight.
Maybe another time.
âď¸ âď¸ âď¸
A whole week passed with just as many assignments and suggested readings. Knowledge was gained and some sleep was lost. Studying for a text was involved.
Maybe Iâm getting better at this, you thought.
Leaving your final class of the day, you held your head a little higher and had a slight bounce to your step. Days were looking up, more positive. Magical, one might say.
You had good news to share with your father, Merlin, and Bridget had given you a copy of a cookie recipe. All good things.
And Iâm pretty sure Morgie had looked at me in class today, you thought with a giddy smile.
Oh, that crush of yours? You one hundred percent knew you liked him.
Did you figure out when those feelings started? No, and that bit irritated you. You really wanted to know in order to figure out the details. But your mind liked to keep some secrets it seemed.
On route to your dorm, you avoided the sea of students. Each gathered in various sized groups to socialize after a long day.
You wanted to put your books and all away in your room first. It was a wonder how much you could fit into one bag.
Walking into a near deserted hall with mid-afternoon lighting gave you an odd sense of awareness. No distractions moving about or unpolished enchantments to dodge. It was you, your surroundings, and your senses.
Through those senses, it was easy to notice someone trotting up behind you. Not too fast, but also with intent.
âHey.â
Your eyes widened a fraction at the sight of Morgie slowing to match your pace.
âHi.â You greeted lightly and did a quick glance behind him.
He came alone.
This is a bit new.
âHowâd you do on the exam?â Morgie asked and gingerly bit his bottom lip.
âBetter than I thought. Thankfully. I spent enough time studying for it.â
âI know.â
You looked forward briefly and asked, âHow about you? Howâd you do?â
âNear perfect.â He nearly smiled from ear to ear. His chest stuck out just enough.
A swell of pride unmistakably grew within you.
âThatâs great.â You said, grateful to have an easy conversation. âIâm not surprised.â
Was that too much?
Walking alongside Morgie was quite new. Welcomed and almost peaceful. What blasted all that into the stratosphere was the delighted grin brightening Morgieâs face.
Oh. You could feel your heart squeezing and your own smile widening.
All major smiles dropped once the pair of you reached a staircase.
âIâllâŚsee you later,â Morgie took a step away.
âSee you.â You gave one last smile and started the ascent. Even with eyes focused on the steps ahead of you, you were aware of Morgieâs gaze following your movements.
Definitely a more positive day.
âď¸ âď¸ âď¸
Time and oneâs innermost desires didnât always line up as one hoped. Not even with magic.
Morgie had thought his time was perfect, but there were other factors he forgot to take into account.
This could be better, Morgie thought, or worse.
Morgie had followed his band of fellow villains in line for lunch. Stomachs hungry and eyes trained ahead was the usual standing for the students.
For Morgie, however, his fingers twitched and he was much too aware of every movement he made. He could hardly help it. Making an impression and standing out to you kept him on his toes.
You were standing behind him talking with someone. A fairy who was asking for wand advice, apparently.
Theyâre a really good listener, Morgie thought as he kept waiting to hear your voice. They might be smiling. He managed not to turn around. Even teenagers with magic had some self control. More so, gaining the attention of the other villains wasnât something he wanted at that moment.
Suddenly, inhaled sharply as he felt the slightest movement of air behind him. You had almost touched him.
Standing so close together in line felt like the best and the worst thing all at once. Morgie could hardly breathe in a normal manner.
âHey,â Hook tapped Morgie on the shoulder.
His eyes glanced over to the pirate captain. Soon he met the othersâ gazes.
âAre you sick?â
Morgie shook his head.
âThe line shouldnât take that long,â said Hades.
âIt could be faster.â Uliana pointedly looked ahead.
After quiet observations of Morgie le Fay, the villains turned back around as the line moved up. He was thankful for the lack of questions. Perhas they had thoughts on the weekend ahead. Morgie sort of did.
Hearing your cheerful laughter practically roll through his nervous system reenergized him like a potent potion. He pulled at his thin scarf.
I need to do something.
âď¸ âď¸ âď¸
After a rainstorm everything felt alive andâŚwet.
Nearing the end of your lunch period you had dried off a part of the seating at a table in a courtyard and got to work fixing your notes. Earlier in the day, one of your teachers had spoke faster than you would had preferred. At least the cramp in your hand ebbed.
If they werenât in a rush to finish the lesson today, you thought, my notes wouldnât look like a total lopsided disaster trying to keep up. Picking your pen up, you had an idea. Why canât I let my pen write for me? A mixture of a locomotive spell and personification. It could work. Worth a shot, you thought and set down the pen.
A quick shake of your arms to stay loose, and you straightened your posture.
Any spell started with an intention. With yours set, you spoke clearly and allowed your gift to charge. You had done spells since you were little. This one could be considered a light exercise.
One you completely goofed up when the sight of Morgie le Fay walking by with his hazel eyes already gazing at you threw off your concentration.
âOh, goodness.â
The pen in front of you didnât move.
A startled scream drew your attention to your real mistake. Across the courtyard, a stone bench scampered by a group of students.
âBlast it.â You hit the table and leapt from your seat.
â(Y/N)!â Jasmine and Aladdin shouted, both rushing away from the animated furniture.
âSorry!â You ran after the bench as it fled form you in a gallop. âStop!â
âď¸ âď¸ âď¸
Merlin Academy allowed magic in the curriculum. No question about it, with a wizard as its headmaster. It was then, expected by most, to see magic nearly everyday, given the various studentsâ skillsets.
âThat looks like fun,â Hades commented on the running bench, Maleficent nudging his arm in disapproval.
âMaybe they like mischief after all.â Hook said to Morgie and peered to his friend. âMorgie?â
No one was beside him. Not anymore.
Moving as fast as his legs could take him, heart pounding, Morgie ran through an alcove. He had a simple plan: cut off the animated benchâs path and stop it before it caused you any harm.
If (Y/N) wanted it to be running amok, they wouldnât be panicking. A logical thought for the teenager keeping an ear for any sign of the likely misbehaving bench.
Sunlight poured into an opening of a walkway intersection, and Morgie skidded to a halt when he heard your aggravated shouting in Latin. The corner of his lips curved up.
âCome on,â Morgie murmured in a ready stance.
Rhythmic thuds came closer and closer.
Gray stone tumbled around the corner.
âYou,â he kept his hands raised, âfacti sunt inanimati.â
A jolt and stiffness hit the bench, stopping altogether. Echoes of its last movements faded into the building.
âHa.â Morgie gave the bench a good look-over. âNice try.â
In the next moment, you rounded the corner with determination. Your objective had been completed without you. It stood to reason why your surprise built as you slowed to a stop by the bench.
Backlit from the afternoonâs warm sun and your gaze on Morgie, he found himself speechless.
âMorgie,â you inquired between intakes of air, âdid you⌠Did you stop it?â
He nodded, heartbeat increasing.
A grin brightened your face. âThank you.â
Morgie stuck out his chest proudly. He could feel himself grinning.
âYou, uh, you didnât have to.â You gave the stone bench a light tap with your shoe.
âI wanted to.â
An expression and emotion came over you, one Morgie couldnât quite read. You werenât angry or disappointed. It was neither sadness, irritation, or disgust.
The longer he studied you the more you stood there in wonder.
Should I walk closer? He thought, glad to not be blushing.
â(Y/N),â Fay had scurried into the covered walkway. âAre you all right? Oh! You got it.â
You had turned around to face the fairy, âActuallyâŚâ
âItâs all right. I messed up with my wand again yesterday. But, perhaps, we can move the bench back. Somehow.â
âLevitation could work,â you suggested with a cute tilt of your head.
âYeah. Excellent, (Y/N).â
Standing quietly, Morgieâs heart had a small leap of warmth whenever your name was spoken. A spark of excitement.
âMorgie,â you said looking over your shoulder, âIâm glad the bench didnât cause you too much trouble.â
âIt wouldâve ran away if it knew what I can do.â He replied feeling more confident.
âIâm sure.â You smirked playfully.
Not so deep down, Morgie really wanted to keep the conversation going despite the new task ahead, Fay standing right there, and an upcoming class. He could probably come up with something.
âUh.â
Both you and Morgie looked to Fay as she stood waiting with her wand at the ready. Patient as she was, Fay appeared confused at your interaction.
Good. She doesnât need to know.
âI have to run.â Morgie leaned forward and allowed his magic to alter his eyes. âYou can catch me later.â
After witnessing surprise on your lovely face, Morgie took his leave. Blushing was the last thing on his mind this time.
âď¸ âď¸ âď¸
Warm afternoon sunlight made the headmasterâs office cozy and nowhere near intimating. It could also be the familiarity and the sheer number of books in your fatherâs office. Not particularly a surprise for you.
The actual surprise came earlier when you decided to talk to your father about what had been nagging at the back of your mind.
If only you could get yourself to that topic.
âYou heard about that?â You cringed, slouching into your seat.
âI did.â Merlin said calmly as he sipped his tea. âItâs not often a stone bench runs around the academy. Oh, donât take it to heart. Mistakes happen. We can learn from them.â Ever the understanding and intelligent man. Anything could be a lesson in his view.
Nowâs as good a time as ever, you thought apprehensively.
âIâŚwas distracted.â You admitted quietly, nervously.
Setting down the teacup, he looked at you pointedly.
âWell now, you know better than that.â He cleared his throat, âespecially with others around.â
âI know. I know. Itâs just⌠It doesnât make sense,â you rambled on, âitâs like one day everythingâs normal and then⌠Oh, goodness.â You sunk further into the furniture a little embarrassed. âI haveâŚfeelings for someone.â
Merlin chuckled, âI see!â
âBut I donât know when it started so that I can know fully why.â
âVery illogical and confusing. You might never know.â
âWhat?â
He continued to chuckle happily. âThereâs no logical explanation for this.â
You grumbled, thought half-heartedly with how your father was in such a good spirits.
âA most befuddling thing.â
âď¸ âď¸ âď¸
Late in the evening when crickets started chirping and owls were starting their day, villains mingled in an enormous rotting eel. An excellent place as any to hang out after school at the black lagoon.
Moods were high and shared as the motley crew recalled the chaos you enchanted bench caused. A real highlight of the day.
âIâve never seen a fairy fall into bushes before,â Maleficent snickered with a swirl of her hair.
âOr a wave of students diving out of the way.â Hook laughed along with the others.
âWho knew (Y/N) could cause such glorious chaos.â Uliana added gleefully.
âSpeaking of fleeing,â Hades turned to Morgie. âWhereâd you run off to? You missed the fun.â
âI caught up with (Y/N).â Morgie replied as all attention fell to him.
âOh, you spent time with Merlinâs goodie goodie?â Uliana teased playfully. She wasnât oblivious to how Morgie acted around you.
Feeling more confident and a tad bashful, Morgie added, âI think (Y/N) and I could cause some mischief together.â
âNow that Iâd like to see.â Uliana said positively.
âMerlinâs child without a book? How shocking,â Maleficent said and patted Hadesâ arm.
âThey mustnât be afraid of the dark,â Hades said casually.
âAye, but how much do they like it?â Hook questioned and looked to the young sorcerer.
Morgie breathed in slowly. âIâll have to find out.â
âď¸ âď¸ âď¸
Sounds of water and chirping of birds ground you after what felt like the longest class of the semester. An exaggeration of course. But being by a water feature with friends between classes helped ease your mind.
âIs there a world where youâd consider not being in honors classes? It would give you some freedom.â Jasmine smiled encouragingly. âOr do you like a challenge?â
You shook your head, laughing. âI like learning. Is that so bad?â
âYouâre not trapped in expectations are you?â
âTrapped? No. Trying to ignore them? Definitely.â
âI have some experience withâNo!â Her words broke into a yelp as she looked down to where you both stood.
âOh!â
A cream colored snake slithered over your shoe. Not a large one, and it hardly had any weight to it at all.
Odd, you thought and bent down to inspect the creature.
âBe careful.â Jasmine said from a couple of steps away.
âI will,â you squinted and almost laughed once you made a discovery. âOh? Itâs paper.â
âWhat?â
You chuckled and held out your hand. The parchment, very much enchanted, coiled upon the palm of your hand.
âWill it bite?â She inquired.
âWhat bites?â Aladdin showed up, almost out of nowhere. His gaze went from Jasmine to where hers was locked. âAre you planning to trick someone?â
âNo.â You Brough your hand closer to you and added, âIâll check it out. No worrying, all right?â
âAll right.â Jasmine relented. âIâll see you in class.â
Giving a wave to the happy pair, you departed for some seclusion. It was truly a good thing that the academy was large and not a simple rectangular building.
This is not a trick, you thought as your mind quickly narrowed down who would enchant paper to be a snake. Those thoughts only made your heart rate quicken.
As inconspicuously as you could manage while not fast-walking, you ducked behind a tree full of branches to obscure yourself from view. The last thing you wanted was a nosy student popping up behind you.
âAlright,â you exhaled and held the âsnakeâ up. âDo you have a message for me?â
With a shiver and nod, the paper snake unrolled before its serpentine enchantment subsided.
âHuh.â
Heat rose to your chest and neck.
It is form Morgie.
Your eyes had looked to the signature first before reading his message in its entirety.
(Y/N), Ego amo te multum. In my chest there is a hum every time I see you and hear your name itâs fluttering and warm and all the same. Itâs new and acceptus and I wish you and I were an âusâ. Please reply yay or nay. If negative, destroy this letter today. Morgie
Hardly knowing if you were breathing properly or what time it was, you read the letter two more times. You had to be certain you werenât mistaken. Your heart threatened to burst! metaphorically, of course.
Morgie le Fay did like you! It wasnât just a misreading of situations. He liked you a lot.
Him writing in Latin may had got you a little flustered, but youâd manage.
Quickly with shaking hands, you folded the letter and stashed it into your bag.
Yup. This is new. Befuddling maybe. You thought as you attempted a few calm breaths. He likes me! A wide smile curved your lips. Oh, wait, wait. I need to reply. ReplyâŚand say what?
âď¸ âď¸ âď¸
As with each weekday, the rest of the school day went by. Each spare moment gave you a chance to breathe more consciously and time to contemplate what to write back to Morgie. Obviously, you would. It needed to be written just right.
Morgie liked you and you liked him. For once in your life, you needed to fully express that in words. No more avoidance. Time had come to admit your emotions.
A little intimidating, but he took a big stepâa chance. I can do the same, you thought as you walked into your dorm room. Your safe place. No more hiding. It took me long enough to figure out how I feel. I can do this.
So your writing began. Many scratched out marks and revisions later, the reply to Morgieâs confession was complete.
Morgie, How could I reply with a simple Yay? My dear Morgie le Fay Ego amo te multum. I have found where the hum comes from. Itâs from oneself being incredibly happy. I have it too. You may have my reply, YAY And Iâm keeping your letter. Affectionately, (Y/N)
Thankful to have finally written with a steady hand, you folded the letter and enchanted it to fly as a bird. Speedy delivery for the sorcerer who would without a doubt be hoping for a reply.
Poor Morgie had to wait hours all ready. I hope he doesnât think I burned his letter, you thought anxiously. But if he didnât have hope or bravery that I might feel similarly, then he wouldnât have sent the letter in the first place. Oh, goodness, how do people deal with this?
All you could do was pace the floor of your room.
What else could you do?
Your thoughts were no where settled to do anything academic. So you waited.
Waited for what exactly? You were not certain.
Anything and everything could happen. Even nothing.
Just breathe. You did your part. You leaned against your bed. Then again, there are no instructions for these sort ofillogical things.
About ten minutes since you had sent out the letter, there came an unfamiliar knock on your door. It spooked you as if you had been sitting in the dark alone.
Apprehension to disappointment of another person and nerves overcame you then. There was only one way to find out who knocked.
Be brave.
You walked up to the door.
Unless itâs Ella returning my bookâŚ
Upon opening the door, you were doubly happily surprised to see a beaming Morgie with very tidy hair, holding a single flower. The sort of flora that grew around the school grounds.
âHi.â Morgie stood almost completely still.
âHi. What are you doing here?â You asked with a grin.
âI wanted to see you.â
Your chest swelled with warmth and all you could do was stare at him, the body who liked you back.
Hazel eyes peered passed you and Morgie tilted his head.
âWhy do you have crumbled paper all over your desk?â
Looking over your shoulder briefly, you laughed. âThe first few drafts of my reply.â
âOh,â Morgie raised his free hand to reveal a piece of paper. âLike this?â
âMore rambling and messy because I was nervous, but yes.â
âAffectionately nervous?â A smirk upturned his lips slowly.
âHappily so.â
Beaming, Morgie took a step forward, but stopped as he was unsure of your reaction or preference of closeness. He looked ever so adorable. A letter from you in one hand a flower held in the other.
A hug I can handle.
Taking a step back into your room, you held out your arms and beckoned him in for a hug.
Morgie didnât waste a second of your invitation. The two of your embraced. All nervous jitters forgotten. Enjoying the affection from the other with all the giddiness, warmth, and comfort that came with it.
âI really, really like you,â Morgie whispered onto your shoulder. His arms embraced you a little tighter, emotions shown freely.
I could hear that on repeat.
âI really, really like you,â you said, happy your voice didnât crack. âMaybe we could do something this weekend?â Your bravery had come out full force.
Was there anything to be nervous about anymore in regards to your feelings?
Morgie leaned back to look at you with bright eyes.
âYeah! Anything.â His excitement level escalated.
âAnything?â
âAnything,â he insisted. âA walk, a prank, trying a new spell, causing mischief, or dinner.â
âYouâve had time to think about this.â
âAll day and when I ran here.â
âYou ran?â
âI wanted to see you,â he repeated and finally offered you the flower.
You accepted the flower without hesitation.
Perhaps your time and future with Morgie would be something like that. Beautiful and unexpected. More than anything, you knew it would be magical.

another descendant parent post :)
I really love the headcanon that the son of Merlinâs greatest rival is at Merlin Academy because heâs secretly his son okayyy. bonus points for Merlin taking Morgie under his wing because he wants to be close to his son but canât tell him :( (although, oblivious Merlin who just wanted to make sure Morganaâs boy didnât turn out totally deranged is also good)
Divinely Talented Morgie you will always be my favorite
shoutout to the headcanon that Morgana just magickâd him into existence tho. gotta be one of my favorites

descendants: rise of red one-shot, in which uliana is not as big and bad as her "friends" lead her to believe
Uliana walks in front, a couple feet ahead, and the other four villains follow behind. They whisper as they walk.
"Goblin pastry? That's her plan?" Hook crosses one arm over his chest, propping up the arm with a hook and letting it sit up by face.
"How were our ideas not worse than that?" Hades questions.
"I'd much rather eat a little pastry than burn to a crisp." Morgie raises his eyebrows and purses his lips.
"Maybe there's more to the plan than just the cupcake." Hook's attempt to give Uliana the benefit of the doubt is not well-received.
"It's Uliana. You know there's not." Hades smirks.
Maleficent smacks her boyfriend on the arm.
"Hey!"
"Don't say that." But Maleficent's laugh doesn't really match her words.
"What's all the talking back there?!" Uliana stops abruptly and whips around, her hair flying.
"Nothing." Maleficent, Hades, Hook, and Morgie say in unison.
As soon as Uliana turns back around and the group of five continue walking, the four in the back stifle laughs.
Uliana thinks she's big, bad, and scary. She thinks all of the people in her little entourage are terrified of her and bow to her.
She couldn't be more wrong.
Why she ever expected evil personified to not be playing a cruel joke on her is beyond them. But she's been falling for it, hook (no pun intended,) line, and sinker.
It was Maleficent's idea first. When the five of them began to form a solid group, Maleficent immediately noticed Uliana's insecurity and confidence issues.
A good friend would try to be supportive and helpful, but this is Maleficent. She saw it as an opportunity to have a good laugh.
One day, the facade will fall and Uliana will be humiliated and the outcome of this evil prank will bring them great joy. But, honestly, they find it just as fun and satisfying to laugh behind her back about it.
"Should we even be getting back at Princess Perky?" Hades throws his arm over Maleficent's shoulders as they continue walking and whispering.
"Why? Are you going all soft?"
"Gross, no. The flamingo thing was just really funny." Hades gives a sly smile.
Uliana stops as someone calls her name. It's a teacher, so she's more inclined to actually pay attention and go. She tells the others to go on and she'd meet them later.
As soon as Uliana is out of earshot, Maleficent pipes up again.
"We could always... sabotage." Maleficent's face reveals that she's thinking hard.
"Bridget?"
"No- How would that make sense?" Hook pats Morgie on the shoulder, taking a bit of the edge off of his correction. "No, she means we could sabotage Uli's plan."
"Exactly."
"How?" Morgie asks.
"I'm not entirely sure yet. But we have a few hours left to figure it out."
Hook glances over at Uliana, seeing her angry and frustrated as the teacher speaks to her. Hook can only assume that she's not doing well in a class.
"Look, look. Look how upset she is." Maleficent, Morgie, and Hades turn their attention that direction and chuckle along. "Never gets old."
It would be only a couple years later that Uliana realizes what's been going on.
The anger in her was only beaten out by humiliation.
Suddenly, all these people who she thought feared her were making her feel small. And weak. It was as if they grew ten feet tall.
All the strength and power she thought she possessed dwindled down to almost nothing.
Uliana felt like her whole life was a lie, while Maleficent, Hades, Hook, and Morgie all laughed and had a grand time. They reveled in the result of their game.
Part of Uliana wondered if she deserved it.

Here is my final theory for the ending of The Rise of Red before the movie comes out! I feel like our girls are going to redeem the Queen of Hearts and everything will be happily ever after as Life is SweeterâŚ
Until part 2!
As Maddox said, there are consequences messing with time so I feel like Red and Chloe will be so determined to save Auradon, theyâll forget they will have to face the aftermath so hereâs how I think itâll go
Uliana will make it to present time or maybe her whole gang will
Or Red and Chloe have to deal with Ulianaâs descendant, my oc being Urchin as we know. My take on him is that he and his mom have been plagued with dreams of different lives cause of Red and Chloe did and now Urchin hates them.
Either way, Iâm fairly certain this movie will end happily and part 2 being them having to deal with the consequences and I kinda love that. I CANâT WAIT FOR THIS MOVIE!!!
