Luis Madrigal headcanons

Family & Gifts:

-After Mirabel saved the miracle, the magic doubled! The next generation revived TWO gifts

-Luis was the only Madrigal of his generation to receive just one gift — super strength like his mother — while everyone else was blessed with two powers.

-Though he never shows it, it sometimes stings that he didn’t get a second gift like the others.

-He feels like he’s gotta be extra strong to make up for it.

-A lot of people unfairly compare him to his mother, Luisa, who was known for her incredible strength and endless resilience.

-Luis secretly worries he’ll never live up to her legend.

-Despite all that, he’s very close to Luisa — she’s the one who reminds him he’s so much more than his gift.

-Luisa makes sure her son takes time to relax when she feels he’s burning himself out

-His cousins have always treated him like an equal, no matter the number of gifts — especially Mirabel’s kids (who learned well from her).

-Luis hasa special bond with his Tia Mirabel. She’s one of the only adults Luis goes to when he feels overwhelmed. She “gets it” — the feeling of being “the odd one out” in a magical family.

-Luis is huge and strong, but he’s got the softest heart.

-He lives to help — lifting things, building things, carrying people.

-Around Chloe? He gets ridiculously shy. Like, tripping over his words, trying to be charming, and comes off extremely boyish (in the best way).

-He loves working with his hands.

-Farming, construction, carpentry — if it’s physical labor, he’s all about it.

-The moment he met Chloe, he was done for. Her sweet energy and sunshine-bright presence just wrecked his poor heart.

-The Strength to Be Gentle: He’s hyper-aware of how strong he is around people (especially Chloe).

-He practices holding delicate things — like teacups and butterflies — so he doesn’t accidentally break things when he’s nervous.

-Magic Animals Love Him

-Magical birds, donkeys, cats — all the enchanted animals are drawn to him.

-He dreams of traveling the world someday — helping rebuild villages, carrying old relics from ancient ruins, protecting sacred sites.

-Nothing beats his abuela’s arepas. He can eat like 12 in one sitting without even blinking.

-The Madrigals are fiercely proud of Luis. Even with “only” one gift, they know his heart is the strongest thing about him.

Hi, guys! I’m Luis Madrigal. Yes, the magic-miracle-columbian-encanto Madrigals.

My story? Well, I come from a big family. My mom is Luisa Madrigal, and she’s the best! Sorry, I’m a bit of a mama’s boy. The real story happened before I was born. After my Tia Mirabel saved the miracle, it grew more powerful. My siblings and cousins were born with two gifts. I just have…one…super strength. Just like I mom, I guess. It doesn’t bother me, though. I still love my fam, I just gotta work harder to help out. No pressure…

If you want to know more about me, I love my family, I’m kinda a softie, and I love helping, whether it’s lifting things, building things, carrying people. I’ve always dreamed of going on adventures, and now I can get one! Recently Queen Mal and King Ben made an alliance with my abuela and we’ve joined Auradon. Not only that, I get to play in the Kingdom Cup Games!

I can’t wait! It'll show I’m just as strong as my family even if I don’t have two gifts. Also, it sounds fun and awesome! As my tia Mirabel always says, “you are fantastical and magical, you’re part of the family, Madrigal.”

Princess Pink here! Please, just call me Pink. I’m the Princess of Wonderland, behind my awesome big brother, Crimson and sister, Red. I love everything about Wonderland, the magic, the adventure, the skies. It’s all so…wonderful!

Well, maybe not as wonderful. It’d be better if I was closer to Crimson and Red. It’s kinda like they have their own secret circle and I’m not part of it…but I’m hoping to change that with the Kingdom Cup Games coming up. They’re both participating, which means we’ll be on the same page! If I can win the games, I can prove myself to them.

I always try my best to stay positive. As mommy always says, “just mix it up, you’ll keep find that life is sweeter when you are.”

Hatter Family Headcanons (in the New timeline)

When Red and Chloe changed time, the affected more than just their own lives. They seriously affected the Hatters for the worst.

-The Mad Hatter’s mind snapped, sending him into a dangerous type of mindless.

-Some Wonderlandians say if you listen closely in the swamp winds, you can still hear his laughter.

-Bridget and Maddox tried to find a way to help cure Maddox’s father, but nothing worked.

-Bridget has no choice but to work with King Beast and banish them Mad Hatter to the Isle of the Lost.

-Maddox volunteered to go with him to take care of his father.

-Mad Hatter had a habit of terrorizing other villains and VKs on the streets whenever they crossed his path.

-Maddox tried his best to keep his father in check.

-Mad Hatter once tormented Mal and as punishment, Maleficent banished them to an old abandoned mansion.

-Seeing his father was hopeless, Maddox found his own place.

-Isle life hardened Maddox, but he still made sure to visit his father every now and then.

-Hatter never really leaves his mansion anymore. He’s mostly a myth now, a shadow hopping between forgotten alleys and twisted tea shops.

-Before fully losing himself, he discovered a strange form of magic — mad alchemy — that blurs the line between potion brewing and science.

-Sometimes Maddox and Max swear he still visits them during strange twilight hours, leaving riddles written in tea stains.

-Maddox vowed to study the madness instead of fall to it. Science became his lifeline.

-He befriended Dr. Facilier, who hired him to be a science teacher at Dragon Hall

-His classroom at Dragon Hall is a controlled explosion of beakers, strange plants, old clocks, and scribbled formulas.

-He collects broken watches and clocks.

-They hang all over his lab and classroom like some kind of ticking symphony.

-Though logical, Maddox sometimes talks to his inventions as if they were alive.

-His son, Max, was born on the Isle

-When Red and Chloe altered the timeline, Max Hatter just… appeared. Fully real, fully alive. A new “son” with no memory of not existing.

Unlike Maddox who resists the madness, Max embraces it. He’s whimsical, brilliant, reckless — like lightning bottled in a teacup.

-Cheshire Grin: He has a dangerously charming smile that makes you think he’s either about to help you… or start a fire for fun.

-He naturally falls into Wonderland riddles when emotional or excited. Half of what he says sounds like puzzles.

-On the Isle, Max was an outcast among outcasts

-People tried to bully him, and Max’s madness only makes him a bigger target.

-Max always fought back against his bullies. Whether it was fighting back or publicly humiliating them, his madness always got the better of him…and he loved it.

-Max loved visiting his grandfather begging his father’s back.

-Maddox forbade Max to see his grandfather. He didn’t want Hatter’s madness changing Max for the worst.

-When the Barrier was brought down, Maddox decided to move him and his son back to Wonderland and leave their grandfather behind.

-Max made friends with the Heart Siblings. Max would do anything for them — no question asked, no matter how insane the idea.

-On the Isle, there’s a secret tradition of “tea dueling” (rapid brewing + logic games + insults) — Max is undefeated.

-Max carries around random items: yo-yos, teacups, decks of cards, tiny umbrellas, marbles. Somehow always exactly what he needs.

-Max hides his loneliness behind jokes. Deep down, he worries if he’s truly real or just a mistake of magic.

-The Hatters celebrate “unbirthdays” more than real birthdays — complete with absurd cakes, upside-down presents, and riddles.

-Sometimes Max would sneak his grandfather cake.

-Every full moon, Maddox and Max have “mad science nights” where they try to invent new things together — anything goes, even if it explodes.

-They drink tea together in silence at midnight, letting the quiet chaos of their minds rest.

-Max loves creating elaborate scavenger hunts for Crimson, Red, and Pink, often leading to bizarre “prizes” like singing roses or invisible hats.

Is it Crimson?

I know everything my sister did. Going back in time with Chloe, stopping Uliana, saving our mom, all of it.

It’s the only reason I’m alive. It’s the only reason Pink’s alive. I know this cause I dream about it. Everything night.

It’s not my only dreams. I dream about who my mom was. Not Bridget, but the Queen of Hearts. The one who hurt Red. The one who staged a coup. The one who tried to behead Cinderella.

I’ve never been able to look at my mom the same. I never know who I see. My mom or the Queen. Maybe it’s a good thing Pink doesn't know anything. It's best that she stays innocent.

There are consequences when you mess with the fabric of time. Not just for Red and Chloe, but for everyone around them. I know for a fact it's not just me they affected.

Some people will be affected, some people will be changed, and some people...they may not be here at all. And worst of all, there could be people no one ever asked for.

Red and Chloe did a good thing. But getting rid of one threat could create another far worst. Everything's changed.

But the real question is: was it better before or after time changed?

I don't know.

Outside, a group of adults and children circled the shiny black Limo. Tyker and Squirmy carried a fighting Squeaky out with glee.

"LET ME GO, I DON'T WANNA GO!" Squeaky shrieks, trying to fight back and run back inside, but Squirmy wouldn't let him. Tyker tossed their bags in the trunks, and leaped in the car after Squirmy shoved his brother in.

Mad Madison dropped her stuff in the trunk and got in quickly, Simon right after her. He waved to a few of his friends in the audience.

"Later guys!" Herkie smiles to his friends, dropping his bag in the trunk. He couldn't wait to see Wonderland! If it's anything like Olympus, he's gonna have the best time!

"You ready?" Robbie runs up to his friend, tossing his bag in the trunk with a grin.

"Absolutely!"

"Come on, guys!" Simon ran out with Lion speed, slamming his bag in the trunk and leaping in the limo, brushing past his friends, who couldn't help but laugh at him.

"I'm gonna enjoy beating him" Robbie chuckles as the boys follow him in the limo.

Felix and Celia walk as if they were better than everyone else (who's to say they weren't?), their bags in hands with their mischievous little grins.

"Let's do this" Felix jumps, dropping his bag in the trunk. He was so ready for the games. A tarot card flew and jumped between his black-painted fingers.

"We bad" Celia pops her collar. If she could help stop an evil psycho princess, she could win the Kingdom Cup Games.

"Bye, you guys!" Chloe smiles and waves as everyone cheers for her. She places her bags in the trunk as waves as she gets in the limo. She was gonna miss the school, even if it's just for a couple days, but she was ready to win the games.

Red was the last to walk out, throwing her bags in the trunk, but stopped at the car door. One finger on the handle, a bright flash nearl blinded her.

As she opens her eyes, she sees her worst nightmare. A blood red sky in hovering over Auradon. Card soldiers everywhere. Her friends held hostage. Just like the coup in the original timeline.

She looked at herself through the limo’s mirror. She looked exactly like her mother. Her red hair was silky a straight, a sleek red curtain, her eyes shadowed with hints of scarlet. Her ribs ached beneath a tight corset that made her waist a sharp V to contrast with the puffed sleeves of the red silk on her shoulder.

“Thank you, Red.”

She turned her head and forgot how to breath as she stared at her mother. The Queen of Hearts, a slim woman with long red hair and a large crown symbolizing her authority. She wears red eye-shadow. She dresses in a red gown with a large heart-shaped collar corset. “You finally did something useful.

There are consequences…

“Red!”

Red blinks her eyes and it’s over. She’s back in sunny Auradon, about to leave. She looks inside the limo to see Chloe staring at her. “You ready?”
