My name is Jeanette Huston and I am a life skills teacher over (2nd-4th) grade. We are trying to stcok up our classroom for the rest of this year and next year. I would love to be able to cook with our life skills students on Fridays. I think cooking and baking is an important life skill to learn and our students are at just the right age to learn this skill. This could be a fun hands on learning activity for our students. Our classroom does not have a kitchen so we need a portable oven and burners as well as cooking supplies. It a wonderful opportunity to teach our kids kitchen/cooking safety protocols as well. This skill will follow them into adulthood and it something they will need to be able to do to live independently one day.
