I don't want to have to agree, but I strongly agree. Magnus and Alex have a very bad relationship in those books, mostly because Rick seems to think teasing = love. It doesn't, and it makes a whole lot of their scenes hard to read. I'll try to persevere and get through this final book, though.

i don't ship fierrochase. like at all. no hate to people who do but in canon and most fanon alex acts like a total bitch to magnus, toying with his feelings, kissing him without consent twice and then not actually getting into a relationship with him after

("but- but alex wasn't ready for a relationship! :(" then she shouldn't have kissed him?)

alex also repeatedly cuts magnus's hair without consent. magnus feels like it's "impossible to tell him no". doesn't sound like a very healthy dynamic to me.

magnus doesn't really show any attraction to alex besides physical. he's intimidated by her. alex thinks she's better/smarter than magnus and doesn't treat him well. they shoudn't have gotten together imo.

Do any of you ever wonder if Camp Half-Blood accidentally brought in a demigod of a different pantheon before?

This would be especially hilarious if it happens sometime after The Last Olympian/Heroes of Olympus, where the gods are required to claim their kids quickly.

A whole day passes, and the new demigod needs to sleep in the Hermes Cabin and Percy is furious. Meanwhile, the Greek Gods are pointing at each other and shouting, contacting the most obscure of mini gods. Chaos erupts on Olympus as every deity in Greek Mythology is called upon and interrogated. Hermes hasn't run around so much in centuries.

Hecate sits in silence, fully aware of what's happening, but enjoying the show too much to intervene.

I've been seeing people wanting a big fight between the riordenverse protags (Percy, Jason, Magnus, and Carter(and maybe Sadie)). Thing is though, if you threw a brick at Jason he would go down immediately. If there's water near Percy and the Kane's are going to be fighting for a while. And Magnus's only power is that he is a glow stick with a handkerchief boat and a disco sword. He's just going to say "Jack fight them!" throw him and then sit off to the side drinking a Caprisun.

Consider, the massive all Riordanverse crossover, but it’s Will Solace, Magnus Chase, Jaz Anderson (TKC), and some doctor from New Rome. They’re all technically healers but only one of them is an actual adult with a medical license and they’re getting gray hairs from watching these three blond teenagers just throw some magic at injuries. I don’t know what would constitute four healers from four different mythologies banding together, maybe they didn’t even mean to meet up and they just all happened to run into each other (extra points if none of them know the others are also involved in mythological bullshit so they’re all trying to hide it).
