i've been disappointed that moonlight mystique really is its own standalone, only distantly related to ancient love poetry, so i consider the drama like an alternate universe of tianqi x yuemi, meaning, it's not even them in this universe. and it just hurts. especially every time i see purple moon. sigh. i miss tianqi and his purple moon.

UWAAAAWAA aauuu i made yuechiya at different times hehehe but ill do my best to remember 🫡

for ichiya, i was joining a jphs rp group for fun HAHRJFJKDJD i wanted the concept of a kid who wants to be good but is too mischievous and likes to fantasize about ppl having a Not Good day 🥹 at the time i listened to wozwald obsessively so i ended up having that influence his story with his sister!

for yuemi, i was kinda in a difficult place, so i wanted to make a character that was strong and full of hope and resilience.. i specifically made her for ichiya but overtime she grew into her own character and became more than just a hopeful and resilient gremlin ww i gave her pink hair bc i wanted a bluepink ship hahdjcjjdjd

yuechiya have become a lot more different than how i originally made them both individually and ship wise ww THANK U FOR ASK YUQ MWAH MWAH

While waiting for new episodes of Moonlight Mystique I decided to watch my favourite Tianqi and Yuemi scenes from Ancient Love Poetry and the last 20 episodes of that, then moved swiftly on to The Last Immortal and because the heartbreak of A’Yin giving up on life wasn’t traumatic enough went on to Immortal Samsara because why watch the utter desolation of only one female character deciding to die after believing she isn’t loved when you can watch Yandan jump off a cliff as well

The celestial court buzzed with anticipation. Tonight, the Sun God, renowned for his fiery temper and explosive personality, would finally meet the elusive Moon Goddess, Yuemi.

Bakugo, adorned in his usual fiery attire, bristled with impatience. "Why does this have to be so formal?" he grumbled, glaring at the intricate celestial tapestries. He'd much rather be training than attending this stuffy gathering.

Then, she appeared. Yuemi, a vision in shimmering moonlight. Her black hair cascaded down her back, framing eyes the color of a starlit night. Her voice, a melodic whisper, echoed through the hall as she greeted the assembled deities.

Bakugo, despite himself, was captivated. He'd expected someone cold and distant, a stark contrast to his own fiery nature. Instead, he found warmth in her eyes, a gentle serenity that calmed the tempest within him.

As the night progressed, Bakugo found himself drawn to Yuemi. He listened intently as she spoke of her moonlit kingdom, where shadows danced and dreams took flight. He watched, mesmerized, as her fingers traced delicate patterns in the air, conjuring shimmering moonlight.

Yuemi, in turn, was surprised by the Sun God. He was gruff and intimidating, yet there was an underlying kindness beneath the bravado. She found herself drawn to his fiery passion, a stark contrast to the cool tranquility of her own domain.

They spent the evening in conversation, discovering unexpected common ground. They both loved the thrill of a good challenge, the quiet beauty of a starry sky, and the simple joy of creating something beautiful.

As the night drew to a close, Bakugo, to his own astonishment, found himself lingering near Yuemi. He offered her a small, sun-warmed flower, a gesture born of an impulse he couldn't quite explain.

Yuemi, touched by his unexpected gesture, smiled. "It's beautiful," she murmured, tucking the flower behind her ear. "Thank you, Sun God."

Their eyes met, a silent understanding passing between them. Bakugo, to his own surprise, felt a strange warmth spread through him, a feeling unlike any other he had ever experienced.

"Would... would you perhaps like to see my domain sometime?" he asked, his voice rough with unexpected nervousness. "I could show you the sunrise from the highest peak."

Yuemi's eyes widened in surprise. "I... I would like that very much," she replied, a soft blush creeping up her neck.

And so, a tentative understanding blossomed between the Sun God and the Moon Goddess. They began to meet secretly, sharing stories of their realms, their laughter echoing through the heavens. Bakugo, to his own astonishment, found himself eagerly anticipating their meetings, the fiery passion within him tempered by the gentle serenity of the Moon Goddess.

Yuemi, in turn, discovered a depth to the Sun God she never expected, a fiery heart capable of both explosive anger and unexpected tenderness.

Their love story became a legend whispered among the stars, a testament to the power of unexpected connections and the enduring magic of love that transcends even the vastness of the cosmos.

Time for Your Tune Up Part 8: Rollo Flamme

A/N: Not my favorite character, but still a fun antagonist and foil to the NRC squad. Figured I'd give him a try dealing with someone like Yumei! As for when this happens, you can picture this happening in an alternate timeline where he visits NRC for their Arcane Trip Event/ exchange visit or even during GloMas.

Warnings for this one: Hurt with NO comfort in this one. Voyeurism-esque moment during the Procedure.

“What. Are. You. Doing?”

‘Seven-effing-dammit…!’ Yumei thought he was stealthy enough not to be noticed by him. Rollo was the last person he wanted to encounter now of all times. Maybe if he plays it cool he can run off and take care of his predicament else is what the dual-eyed boy hoped.

However, Rollo seemed to have had other plans. “Answer the question, Prefect. It is rather inappropriate to not answer a question when one is asked.”

Said Prefect hung his head in shame, all hope for escape gone. “I, uh. I was going to see Prof. Trein about something important.”

“Is that so?” It was obvious Rollo wasn't buying it. But he played along for now. “What pray tell may be so important to discuss with him?”

“I, uh… have a condition and I really need to go see him right away.”

“Then why are you clutching your bag so desperately? What are you hiding?” Rollo's patience was growing short. “If you are carrying illicit items, I may be forced to take them away.”

“They're not illicit! They're my medication!” Yumei quickly covered his mouth. He realized too late what he had said.

The white haired boy's eyes widened at what he just heard. “Medication, you say?” He quickly covered his face with his handkerchief. “My apologies, Prefect.”

“N-no! It's fine. I just…it's kind of embarrassing to talk about.” Yumei fidgeted in place, twisting the strap of his bag. “Anyway, I'm just gonna go-”

“Wait.” Rollo ordered. “Come with me.”

~Random Transition!~

Rollo has requested to hear more of Yumei's predicament in private. After a simple(or as simplified as he can make it)explanation, he still felt perplexed by what the Ramshackle Prefect had told him.

“So you must take this Life Extending Agent every three months. Is that what I'm hearing, right?”

“Yes,” Yumei uttered in shame.

Rollo remained silent for what felt like to the younger boy eternity. “Show me.”

“Huh?” The younger looked at him owlishly.

“Show me the process.” He demanded. His patience wore thin despite everything he was told.

Yumei gulped at the demand, nerves shaking as he pulled out a crystal from his bag. He ignored how the other's boy was shocked at the size of the Crystal-like object in his hands. Agent in hand, he moved it to his left thigh and placed it on his clothed Port.

He winced as he felt the tip go inside his body. “Ow!” His legs started to shake due to the pain, but he ignored them in favor of trying to prove Rollo his honesty.

Speaking of him, the Noble Bell student just covered his face again, hiding his disgust and curiosity and wonder at what he was witnessing. He should be helping him, but he refused to, indirectly adding onto the younger boy's shame.

Yumei tried to play it off as normal, that he was used to doing it alone. But deep down he kinda wished that the other would hold him, or at least help make sure he felt comfortable during the procedure. Ignoring the tears pricking the corner of his eyes, Yuemi sighed in relief when he felt the last of the geode disappearing into his body.

Later:

Yumei excused himself, wanting to forget about that horrible experience he had with Rollo. It wasn't until he saw his friends that he felt some semblance of comfort. Grim jumping on his shoulder, nagging about his absence and Deuce pulling him along to join the others.

Once the coast was clear, Rollo had stepped out from where he was hiding. While he was satisfied with acknowledging the Ramshackle Prefect's condition, the flames burning within his soul told a completely different story.

He almost felt pity for the boy having to suffer such a curse due to his world's lineage. But the act itself only enforced his resolve to continue with his mission. Even if his plan may not save the boy from dying young, he will find a way to make his death as painless as possible. This he swore on his own life.

Yuemi: Everybody.... always excludes me.... I've never hugged anyone, in my world we can only hug if we have a high level of friendship with someone....

Hidan: I married him, making me a brother in law to both your dads.

Izuki: And that makes you my uncle, and Yuemi and Keitaro a niece and nephew to my dads?

Hidan: Yep

Izuki: What made you fall in love with Uncle Tana?

Hidan: Hmm..... honestly, seeing how dedicated he was to loving and protecting Deidara. He was so kind and loving, despite all the bad things around. And when he talked to me, he spoke to me just as nicely. Made me feel wanted. He gave me a chance no one else would... and I took it

Izuki: And then you married him and had my cousins?

Hidan: That's right

Izuki: That's really cool, uncle

Hidan: It is, isn't it.

Izuki: ... Can we get icecream now?

Hidan: Absolutely.

I think we should make a distinction between those characters whom you've come to love due to their depiction, their writing, their development... and those characters whom you love the minute they walk onto your screen because they just entirely capture your heart with they way they talk, laugh, move. First loves on TV happen so rarely.

if you didn't go through 3,5 years mourning tianqi and yuemi and crying over the fact you'll never see them getting their happy ending - because they decided to completely butcher everything about them for a new drama instead of giving them a decent spinoff - you don't get to use them for your moonlight mystique edits or say omg how cute that they had a past life or some shit like that

like that's MY ship you don't know them as characters you don't know what they went through you don't get to suddenly use them for your new ship STAY AWAY FROM THEM

I can't believe I watched 49 episodes and received no reunion between tianqi and yuemi. I literally can't deal with this fact. Literally everyone else making a comeback but my girl yuemi can't??? Shanggu, you need to beg another 500 years for yuemi!!!!!
