“The moon will sing a song for me, I loved you like the sun”
The celestial court buzzed with anticipation. Tonight, the Sun God, renowned for his fiery temper and explosive personality, would finally meet the elusive Moon Goddess, Yuemi.
Bakugo, adorned in his usual fiery attire, bristled with impatience. "Why does this have to be so formal?" he grumbled, glaring at the intricate celestial tapestries. He'd much rather be training than attending this stuffy gathering.
Then, she appeared. Yuemi, a vision in shimmering moonlight. Her black hair cascaded down her back, framing eyes the color of a starlit night. Her voice, a melodic whisper, echoed through the hall as she greeted the assembled deities.
Bakugo, despite himself, was captivated. He'd expected someone cold and distant, a stark contrast to his own fiery nature. Instead, he found warmth in her eyes, a gentle serenity that calmed the tempest within him.
As the night progressed, Bakugo found himself drawn to Yuemi. He listened intently as she spoke of her moonlit kingdom, where shadows danced and dreams took flight. He watched, mesmerized, as her fingers traced delicate patterns in the air, conjuring shimmering moonlight.
Yuemi, in turn, was surprised by the Sun God. He was gruff and intimidating, yet there was an underlying kindness beneath the bravado. She found herself drawn to his fiery passion, a stark contrast to the cool tranquility of her own domain.
They spent the evening in conversation, discovering unexpected common ground. They both loved the thrill of a good challenge, the quiet beauty of a starry sky, and the simple joy of creating something beautiful.
As the night drew to a close, Bakugo, to his own astonishment, found himself lingering near Yuemi. He offered her a small, sun-warmed flower, a gesture born of an impulse he couldn't quite explain.
Yuemi, touched by his unexpected gesture, smiled. "It's beautiful," she murmured, tucking the flower behind her ear. "Thank you, Sun God."
Their eyes met, a silent understanding passing between them. Bakugo, to his own surprise, felt a strange warmth spread through him, a feeling unlike any other he had ever experienced.
"Would... would you perhaps like to see my domain sometime?" he asked, his voice rough with unexpected nervousness. "I could show you the sunrise from the highest peak."
Yuemi's eyes widened in surprise. "I... I would like that very much," she replied, a soft blush creeping up her neck.
And so, a tentative understanding blossomed between the Sun God and the Moon Goddess. They began to meet secretly, sharing stories of their realms, their laughter echoing through the heavens. Bakugo, to his own astonishment, found himself eagerly anticipating their meetings, the fiery passion within him tempered by the gentle serenity of the Moon Goddess.
Yuemi, in turn, discovered a depth to the Sun God she never expected, a fiery heart capable of both explosive anger and unexpected tenderness.
Their love story became a legend whispered among the stars, a testament to the power of unexpected connections and the enduring magic of love that transcends even the vastness of the cosmos.

Love and Wrath
The celestial gardens shimmered, a kaleidoscope of colors reflecting in Yuemi's rose gold eyes. As the Goddess of Love, this was her domain, a sanctuary of blooming flowers and gentle breezes. Yet, a disturbance rippled through the serene atmosphere. A furious roar echoed through the air, followed by the crashing of a nearby fountain.
Yuemi, ever the peacemaker, hurried towards the source of the commotion. There, amidst a shattered basin, stood the God of Wrath, Bakugo Katsuki, his face a mask of thunder.
"What in the blazes is the meaning of this?!" he bellowed, his voice shaking the very ground.
Yuemi, despite the tremor in her voice, approached him calmly. "Bakugo, what has upset you so?"
He scoffed, "Upset? I'm furious! That… that… affectionate display back there! It was disgusting!"
Yuemi's brow furrowed. "What display?"
Bakugo gestured vaguely towards the direction of the other gods' gathering. "Those two… those… lovebirds! Cuddling like a pair of overgrown puppies! It's sickening!"
Yuemi smiled gently. "Ah, you must be referring to Apollo and Artemis. They are quite fond of each other."
Bakugo snorted. "Fond? They're practically glued at the hip! It's nauseating!"
Yuemi chuckled softly. "Love can be a powerful thing, Bakugo. It can soften even the hardest of hearts."
Bakugo scoffed again. "Softness? Weakness! I don't need that kind of weakness."
Yuemi looked at him, her eyes filled with understanding. "Perhaps not. But perhaps you could learn a thing or two from it. Love isn't about weakness, Bakugo. It's about strength. The strength to open yourself up to another, to trust, to care."
Bakugo glared at her, his anger simmering. "I don't need anyone. I'm strong enough on my own."
Yuemi sighed, knowing that these words would likely fall on deaf ears. But she persisted. "Perhaps. But wouldn't it be nice to share that strength with someone? To have someone to lean on, to celebrate with, to… to love?"
Bakugo scoffed, but the edge of his anger seemed to soften slightly. He looked away, a flicker of something unfamiliar in his eyes.
Yuemi smiled gently. "Think about it, Bakugo. Love might surprise you."
With that, she turned and walked away, leaving Bakugo standing alone amidst the shattered fountain, his mind unexpectedly filled with the image of a pair of rose gold eyes and the gentle murmur of her voice.
The seed of doubt, however small, had been planted. The incident with Yuemi lingered in Bakugo's mind. Her words, though infuriating at first, had a strange effect on him. He found himself observing the other gods, their interactions, with a newfound… curiosity. He saw the way Apollo and Artemis laughed together, the playful banter between Hermes and Aphrodite, the quiet understanding between Hades and Persephone.
He scoffed at himself internally. "Pathetic," he muttered, "obsessing over such… frivolous matters."
Yet, the more he observed, the more he noticed. He saw the way Zeus's eyes softened when he looked at Hera, the way Poseidon's brow furrowed in concern when Amphitrite seemed troubled. He saw the tenderness in Athena's gaze as she guided a lost nymph back to her grove, the fierce protectiveness of Ares when his sister, Eris, found herself in danger.
He began to see love in unexpected places. In the shared burdens of the gods, in their mutual respect, in the quiet moments of camaraderie. It was not the cloying, sentimental affection he had initially dismissed. It was something deeper, stronger, a bond forged in shared experiences, in mutual respect, in a genuine concern for one another's well-being.
One evening, while observing the other gods from a secluded balcony, he saw Yuemi tending to her gardens. The way she interacted with the flowers, her gentle touch, the way her eyes seemed to sparkle with joy, was oddly captivating. He found himself drawn to her, his anger and resentment fading with each passing moment.
He began to seek out her company, often finding excuses to linger near her gardens. He would watch her work, her movements graceful and fluid, her laughter a melodic chime. He would listen to her stories, tales of human love, of its triumphs and tragedies, of its enduring power.
Slowly, subtly, his heart began to thaw. He found himself enjoying her company, relishing her gentle teasing, her insightful observations. He learned to appreciate her kindness, her compassion, her unwavering belief in the good in others.
One day, while walking through the gardens with Yuemi, he stopped abruptly. "Why?" he asked, his voice rough. "Why do you bother with us? We're… we're gods. We're supposed to be powerful, indomitable. We don't need… this."
Yuemi smiled, her eyes filled with warmth. "Because even gods can feel lonely, Bakugo. Even gods can yearn for connection, for understanding, for love."
He looked at her, his gaze searching. "You don't… you don't feel that way?"
Yuemi hesitated, a blush creeping up her neck. "Perhaps… perhaps not in the same way. But I understand the need for companionship, for someone to share your burdens, to celebrate your triumphs with."
Bakugo looked away, his heart pounding. He realized, with a jolt, that he was enjoying her company more than he ever thought possible. He was starting to… to like her.
The thought both terrified and exhilarated him. He had always prided himself on his independence, his strength. But with Yuemi, he felt… vulnerable. He felt a strange longing, a desire to connect with her on a deeper level.
He turned to face her, his voice barely a whisper. "Yuemi…"
She looked at him, her eyes wide with surprise.
He took a deep breath, the words tumbling out before he could stop them. "I… I think I might be starting to understand."
Yuemi's eyes widened in disbelief.
He looked away, embarrassed. "Don't… don't laugh."
But instead of laughter, he heard a soft gasp, then the gentle rustle of fabric. He looked up to see Yuemi standing before him, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears.
"Bakugo…" she breathed, reaching out a hesitant hand.
He took her hand, his own surprisingly steady. Their fingers intertwined, a spark of electricity jolting through him.
He had never felt anything like it.
And for the first time in his life, Bakugo Katsuki, the God of Wrath, felt a flicker of hope, a tiny seed of love blooming within his hardened heart.

Sword’s and Roses
The crimson sun dipped below the jagged horizon, casting long, eerie shadows across the windswept plains. Bakugo, his armor dented and bloodied, stumbled into the village of Egabay. He was a lone wolf, a warrior hardened by countless battles, his gruff exterior masking a fierce loyalty to his clan. He sought refuge, not healing for his wounds, but for his weary soul.
He found himself drawn to the scent of blooming herbs – lavender, chamomile, and something strangely sweet. It led him to a small cottage, its windows glowing with the warm light of a hearth. Hesitantly, he knocked. The door creaked open, revealing a sight that stopped him cold. A woman stood before him, her black hair cascading down her back, framing eyes the color of a twilight sky. She was delicate, almost ethereal, her hands stained with the colors of the earth. "Greetings, traveler," she said, her voice a gentle melody. "You seem to be in need." Bakugo grunted, reluctant to admit his weakness. "Just need a place to rest."
The woman, whose name was Yuemi, smiled. "Of course. Come in, come in. Let me tend to those wounds." Yuemi's touch was surprisingly gentle, her movements surprisingly graceful. As she cleaned and bandaged his injuries, Bakugo found himself strangely captivated. He'd never encountered someone so… kind. Her eyes, filled with a quiet compassion, held a depth that mirrored the vastness of the night sky.
Days turned into weeks. Bakugo, drawn to Yuemi's gentle spirit, found himself spending more and more time in her company. He would sit outside her cottage, listening to her hum as she tended her garden, the scent of blooming flowers filling the air. He learned about the properties of different herbs, the delicate balance of nature, and the quiet joy of simply being.
One evening, as the stars began to twinkle, Bakugo confessed his feelings. He was clumsy, his words stumbling over themselves, but Yuemi, to his surprise, smiled. "I… I feel the same, Bakugo," she whispered, her voice barely audible.
And so, the barbarian warrior found solace not in battle, but in the quiet love of an apothecary, a woman who saw the heart beneath the armor, a woman who reminded him that even the fiercest of souls craved tenderness.
