Idk where else to ask this since Fantasia has asks turned off but I'm very new to the game and seeing everyone's theories about?? Past lives?? Is very interesting! But why is everyone talking about Sol having a guillotine scar beneath his choker? I don't recall seeing it in official art or in the game?

Sol‘s "Scar"

I’ve asked myself this question plenty of times as well, so I decided to try and collect any information on it I could find for you.

Firstly: Personally, I don’t really think he has a guillotine scar on his neck. I think that people just say that he has one because it fits the past life theory.

I think that people mostly take the evidence from this cutscene from the Bad ending where Sol kills Crowe:

You can see that he’s not wearing his Choker here, revealing some sort of bruise that wraps around his entire neck.

But I don’t think that’s really a scar? After all MC chokes him with his choker prior to this, so I think it’s much more realistic to say that it’s the bruise from it. It also doesn’t really look like a scar at all.

It’s also the only picture I‘ve found drawn by fantasia that shows Sol without his Choker. So we don’t have anything for comparison to show. Maybe that bruise was there even before MC‘s attempt to choke Sol. We can’t really say.

All we really know is that Sol doesn’t really take it off. Ever.

Even if it’s kind of played off as a joke here, I think it underlines that he’s very reluctant to take it off or let MC see his exposed neck: Evidence

He doesn’t like being choked, or having hands anywhere near his neck. This could be an indicator for a scar, but it could also be because of some sort of traumatic past. Maybe he has trauma regarding being choked, and thus prefers to keep his neck covered with a choker.

But again, it’s never stated directly that there’s a scar present. It’s just a theory, and it could be true, but we don’t know for sure. I only mentioned it in my little essay to back up why people might compare Sol to the executioner. If we take the past life theory at face value, we could also theorize that he doesn’t like his neck being exposed because he was killed by a guillotine. He doesn’t really need to have a scar or bruise in order to be uncomfortable with it. Maybe it’s like phantom discomfort, that he feels like his head might fall off his shoulders if there’s not something constantly "keeping it in place".

your heart is heart shaking and your hands are sweating when you walk to the set of ‘knowing brothers’. it was your first time ever attending a variety show like this and you were nervous, you want to do your best but you don’t know if you’re variety show potential or not.

it hasn’t been long since your group debuted so you feel even more thankful that ‘knowing brothers’ invited you along with two of your other group members for their next episode.

some people think that they only invited you because you’re SM’s new girlgroup, they think that you guys got the big 3 privilege. what they don’t know is that being in one of the big 3 companies isn’t as much of an easy ride as they make it out to be and you all had demons to fight so you could finally debut.

“oh, they’re also here,” one of your group members softly nudges your side and you follow her gaze, your eyes landing on RIIZE. SM‘s boygroup that debuted a while ago.

“i can‘t believe our managers didn’t tell us that we wouldn’t be the only SM group here,” you whisper to your two group members.

“well, i don‘t mind. i can finally get to know sungchan,” the other group member giggles.

she has been crushing on sungchan since the minute she first landed eyes on him, but because of the fact that their schedule never aligns with your groups schedule, she didn’t really have time to get to know him.

well, none of you guys had the time to get to know any of the RIIZE members.

you try to catch a glimpse of park wonbin, the center of the boygroup.

your members don’t know this, but you’ve been eyeing wonbin for the longest time ever. everytime you guys walk past each other in the company building, you just feel something between the two of you. and you know that you’re not the only one who thinks that way ; especially when wonbin catches you staring and gives you a soft smile.

embarrassing, you think, he saw me staring at him.

what you don’t know about wonbin is that he has been eyeing you the whole time too. the second the company introduced the members for the new girlgroup, he was mesmerized by you. he made it his life’s mission to get to know you.

so the fact that he is here, at ‘knowing brothers’, with some of his group members, and you’re here too — it seems like the perfect opportunity to finally make a move.

when the cameras start rolling, your group enters first. getting hyped up by the people filming, the MC‘s and other guests, you gain confidence and the nervousness you were feeling a few minutes ago starts to fade.

✧˖°.⁺‧˚ ♡ ˚‧⁺ ✧˖°.

“oh, *y/n*, we heard that you’re the main dancer of your group,” one of the MC‘s points at you. “so we prepared something especially for you.”

it has been a while since the show started and your nervousness was completely gone, but when the MC grabs after your hand and pulls you to the middle of the supposed classroom, you feel your ears heating up a little.

“do you think you can do it?”

you take a look around the set, seeing how everyone is analyzing you — including wonbin.

you can’t let him see you being insecure. nope, you need to pull off your best.

“of course i can. i‘m the main dancer for a reason,” you smile, hearing your members cheer for you in the background.

the MC‘s stare at you, amazed by your confidence. they’re not the only ones though ; from the side of your eyes you see wonbin looking at you with a big grin on his face.

“seeing you so confident is refreshing, a lot of other idols would feel shy. it’s kind of cute,“ one of the MC‘s raises his eyebrow at you. ew. you’re so not feeling what he just said, but because the cameras are on, you can’t let your discomfort show, so you just laugh.

wonbin doesn’t notice that he put his hand in a fist when the MC called you cute until sungchan put a hand on his shoulder and told him to loosen up.

“you can’t let your jealousy show, wonbin.”

wonbin looks at him, acting like he doesn’t know what sungchan is talking about.

“jealous? why would i be jealous? i‘m not jealous.”

sungchan doesn’t answer, he just raises his eyebrows and grins at wonbin.

“the random dance play starts now!” the MC suddenly announces which brings wonbin’s whole attention back to you.

while the countdown to the first song started, the same MC who called you cute, walks closer to you . “a little spoiler; at some point, bite me by enhypen will play. i will jump in to do the partner dance with you.”

you had no choice but to press your lips together and smile. remember, it’s all for the show, you tell yourself.

the MC thought he was being slick with walking closer to you to tell you that, but he wasn’t as quiet as he probably intended to be because wonbin heard it. he heard what the MC told you.

“who does he think he is?” wonbin whispers to himself. “i‘m not going to let that happen.”

so far, the dances on the random dance play were all that you’ve done dance challenges to, so it wasn’t really hard. you were doing very good if you could say so yourself.

but the constant panic that keeps arising within you whenever the next song is supposed to play (because you just didn’t want to dance to bite me with the MC) is making it hard for you to focus.

and when the song finally plays, you close your eyes for the first few seconds because you weren’t ready for what’s about to happen.

taking a deep breath in and out, you open them again.. only to see wonbin right next to you, leading the dance.

wait? what?

you’re trying your best to not let the confusion show; why is he here? did he really just come up to dance with you? why would he do that?

the dance goes smoothly, it’s like the two of you were meant to dance together.

not to mention the fireworks that are exploding inside of you right now and they only grow bigger everytime wonbin even slightly touches you.

the whole time, wonbin is trying his hardest to not grin like an idiot because he’s enjoying this so much. he couldn’t care less about what everyone is thinking right now. for him, nothing else matters other than dancing together with you.

the music stops and you two freeze, just looking into each others eyes for a moment until you realize that you’re in public right now and everything is being filmed.

quickly, you bow to wonbin as a thank you and turn away from him to face the MC‘s (who are looking at you with big smiles).

“park wonbin,” the MC, who has been hitting on you the whole time, calls out.

wonbin turns to him, nodding. “yes?”

“you‘re quite the show stealer. and partner.”

wonbin doesn’t let himself get thrown offguard. instead, he puts on his best smile.

“i just thought that a main dancer should dance with another dancer. i didn’t intend to steal your moment, sir.. and also, don’t we look good together?” wonbin smiles at you.

the MC analyzes wonbin for a quick moment until he lets out the biggest laugh. “honestly, you danced way better than i could ever have. you matched *y/n*s energy very well and it’s true that you look good together.. almost like a couple.”

the other MC nodds in agreement. “seeing you two dance together makes me want to wish for a collab stage between the two of you in the future.”

now wonbin’s eyes wander over to you. his smile is so infectious that you feel the corners of your lips going up as well.

“well, *y/n*, let’s talk to our managers about this idea and make it happen.”

✧˖°.⁺‧˚ ♡ ˚‧⁺ ✧˖°.

“and.. cut! we are done!”

you let out a breath of relief. your first ever ‘knowing brothers’ appearance has offically ended. even though you enjoyed it, you can’t wait to go back to your dorm and just rest.

your members feel the same way.

“let us go change quickly,” one of them says when you guys walk to the backstage area.

somehow, your mind is still stuck on wonbin. you can’t believe what had happened. it feels like some kind of dream, or just something that you’ve imagined.

there’s no way that park wonbin wanted to dance with me, you just can’t seem to believe it.

being all in your thoughts, you didn’t realize that someone had walked up next to you.

“hey,” wonbin softly touches your shoulder which makes you stop walking.

“you were a great dance partner earlier.”

not being able to answer (because you can’t grasp the fact that he’s standing right in front of you), you just smile.

talk, say something, you pressure yourself. don’t look like an idiot in front of him right now when you’ve tried to show your best side the whole day.

“i should honestly thank you. really, i mean it. we did well together.”

wonbin smiles, his eyes sparkling, making it look like he has stars shining inside of them.

“i hope we can dance together sometime in the future too. and i don’t mean the collab stage.. i mean privately. like, only the two of us..”

wonbin can’t believe he just said that. it took him all the guts in the world but he’s happy that it’s out in the open, he’s happy to finally have the courage to ask you out (which is what he has been wanting to do for months).

you try your hardest to not stop breathing at this very moment.

“as in a date?”

wonbin scratches the back of his head. “yes.. uhm.. unless i was just imaging things and you don’t really want to get to know me the same way i want to get to know you.”

you stare at him while the fireworks you were feeling earlier are making a comeback.

“shit, yeah, maybe this was too much. i should probably just lea-” you cut wonbin off.

“i would love to dance with you again. privately.”

you’ve seen wonbin being all smiley the whole day but right now, you see the biggest smile on his face ever. as if he’s a little kid and someone gave him tons of sweets.

“cool.. more than cool. amazing. would you mind giving me your number so i can hit you up with the details later?”

you shake your head laughingly while typing in your number on wonbin’s phone.

once you give it back to him, his smile only grows bigger.

“okay, yeah.. i will text you. for sure. i just have to leave now, as you probably saw; sungchan keeps messaging me. uhm.. i can’t wait to see you again.”

before you could reply, wonbin turns around and you could swear that you heard him giggle while he excitedly walked (almost galloping) away.

"What do you mean?" You hear Jimin speak in the kitchen.

The door to your room is slightly ajar, giving you the ability to listen in on what's being said downstairs, and much to your surprise, Yoongi seems rather.. intense in his tone of voice.

"I love you, I really do, and I do want to make this work-" He says, before there's a pause. "But fuck. Giving her away? Just because she's got some trouble adjusting to an honestly huge change?" He accuses, before Jimin's voice is heard again.

"But I'm not-" He sighs, pausing. "Yoongi, I wasn't going to give her away-" He starts, but the older male is not pacified with this.

"But what?" He asks. "You told me you love her, that you can't even imagine life without her, and yet you take it into consideration- and don't tell me you didn't." He says, and there's a pause.

You feel bad. You don't want them to fight just because of you.

"I didn't." Jimin says in a serious tone. "But I did think about.. Yoongi, what if she really does need therapy? I only want what's best for her." He almost whines, and there's some silence before Yoongi is heard again.

"Do you want that?" He asks, before he speaks once more. "Or do you just want an easy solution?"

You're caught off guard by Yoongi's confrontational attitude- not sure why he seems so passionate about this when all you did until now was piss him off and make his life chaotic as hell. Why does he have so much sympathy for you now?

"Yes she's a handful, yes she's stressing me out, and yes we don't see eye to eye most of the time but that's the thing-" The older guy reasons, "-everything changed for her. It's normal that she's going to hate it at first."

"Yoongi.." Jimin speaks, but he's not done yet.

"She's warmed up to Jungkook. She's become more independent, she's starting to actually try and put effort into this- just give her some fucking time." Yoongi presses on. "I know you don't like the fact that she's not all over you anymore, but you can't have it all, Jimin."

"I'm not.. but..-" The younger adult attempts, but fails at properly making his thoughts known.

"Everyone has to adjust. You too." Yoongi says. "And you can stop listening in on conversations." He suddenly addresses you, who's been slowly creeping down the stairs and closer to the kitchen, poking your head around the doorway. But the second you're called out, you're running back into your room again-

realizing only after your nap that the cat plushy you've been holding throughout your sleep looks a lot like Yoongi.

The Joy of Life - Love hurts…

Rosemary and Jasper Boyer had been dealing with relationship problems for a couple of years now. After a few weeks of constant arguments, Jasper had decided to move out. He did come over frequently to visit the kids, of course. Jasper was great father, the best actually. That had never been questioned by anyone. But, his and Rosemary‘s relationship was very much what one would consider to be a "toxic" relationship. The attraction between the two was very strong, even after a couple of years living apart. Whenever Japser came over, Rosemary and him would end up in bed. When they were together, everything felt simple, it felt good, it felt right. But once they were finished, Jasper would get up immediately and leave…

Sometimes, Rosemary would protest and try to talk him into staying with them. To talk things out, to establish a connection that went beyond the physical again. A couple of times Jasper stayed but they always ended up in a heated argument and Rosemary couldn't stand being mean and being around mean people (due to her generous and compassionate traits). So, Jasper left and Rosalie was left alone. Again. Finn and Peony always made sure to keep their mother company, trying to cheer her up. Their success in school made Rosemary so immensely proud. She knew her kids were suffering along with her but she also knew that they were strong. Whatever the outcome would be, they would get through this, together.

Note:

I‘ve never played with such a relationship dynamic, nor do I have real life experience. So for me, this has been very interesting to observe. The „Family Therapy“ mod by adeepindigo was perfection for this. I’m actually playing without RPO rn (keeping mods limited) and I‘m able to tell the story through gameplay which is what I wanted. I love me some HEA but Idk I love to make my MC‘s work for it 🤣 and not everything has to be fairytale like always right?

Nick and Wesley will have a strong rivalry in part two right? now my question is how would they fight for the MC‘s attention? I’m already pitching Nick being smug about how him and MC are so close and intimate. I’ve been very curious about. I could just see Wesley trying to one up by getting gifts and taking the MC to their favourite concerts. Something like that don’t really know but I am curious.

Hi again 💖 and no worries!

Nik will be working with what he has, however he also knows he will have to do a lot of work to get back into the MC’s good graces once again and sees Wes as a genuine threat, one he can’t easily be rid of.

Wes on the other hand is not like Nik at all and is quite more stand offish when it comes to romance. He does have a crush on the MC, but he’s not like Nik. His “approach” is more about being a good friend and ally to the Mc supporting them with the issues that crop up for MC in Part 2 (Nik included potentially).

Wes tends to show more outward affection when he’s actually in a relationship vs just getting to know MC. It’s a very different type of romantic progression compared to Nik. Which may be a highlight or downside for certain players.

It’s not nonsense! I wish I could reveal all the info in part 2 sooner, so I hope this suffices for now 💕

I don’t think I have seen anyone talk and theorize about MC‘s Curse/Powers (whatever you‘d like to call it), and wanted to share my thoughts on it with the limited knowledge that we have.

If you have your own theories please share them, I‘d love to hear what everyone else thinks!

(Disclaimer: English isn’t my first language and I have a hard time translating my thoughts, so I hope you can understand what I‘m getting at anyways 😭)

All we really know from the Demo is that our Curse "changes" the people that we touch. The only time we really saw the effects of our abilities is when we meet the traveler and he grabs our wrist.

The game only says it affects people when we touch them, but we didn’t really put our hands on the Traveler at all. They were touching our wrist. Does that mean our curse does not only activate when our hands are touched, but also our wrist? What area of our hands/arms is affected by this?

From what part of our hand does the curse activate and where would it be safe to touch us?

What I also find interesting is that our touch isn’t a direct death sentence. It’s not a lethal touch. The way MC describes it, it only "changes" people. But change how? Their faces contort into a wide grin and they attempt to kill us. So it’s not like we have a Shigaraki type ability (look up My Hero Academia for context). I‘m really curious in what way the MCs powers alter people‘s minds.

I also believe the choice of language regarding MC and their curse is very much intentional. (As in "curse" instead of "powers" or "abilities" and "changing people" instead of a "cursing them back" or anything along the lines of "hurting them")

I also find interesting that the people affected by our curse attempt to strangle us, wich apparently seems to have happened before from what MC describes. They’re driven to madness sure, but I just wonder by what. Does our curse perhaps cause hallucinations?

I‘m also reminded of a scene in the hunger games mockingjay part 1, after rescuing Peeta. While being tortured by the capitol, he was injected with a venom from a hallucination inducing animal (Tracker jacker) to initially manipulate his thoughts on Katniss. Because of this, he starts to associate her with terrible things like the bombing of district 12 and sees her as an actual threat to himself and others. After he’s rescued and meets Katniss again for the first time, he immediately tries to strangle her. Perhaps our abilities work similar to the tracker jacker venom, causing the "victim" to see us as a threat and trigger their fight or flight response, causing them to to defend themselves.

When we meet Vere, who is a Monster, he pulls us closer and says "Looks like we’re both…" wich also confused me. Perhaps MC isn’t as human as we might assume. But if we were, Mhin would obviously dislike us right? Maybe we’re just a rare case, a supernatural being that somehow goes undetected by the main cast. Or maybe they know and just don’t let it be known. Maybe we’re not quite monster but also not quite human (a secret third thing). It seems like there’s something he knows that we don’t, or perhaps that we’re actively trying to conceal.

In the unnamed MC origin, it is stated that initially MC‘s curse used to be celebrated as a touch of enlightenment. I just wonder how they came to that conclusion, judging by what happens when someone gets touched by MC. Why did the priests believe that turning mad to the point of trying to strangle their precious oracle was any sort of divine epiphany? I‘m just so curious about this specific origin. Additionally to this, the game states that we experience "unnatural premonitions" that rattle your body and soul". While we‘re able to cast spells in the Alchemist origin and can detect magic, these premonitions seem to be something different entirely. Is it part of the curse? Is that just something that happens when you grow up around priests? I don’t know, seems like some hidden ability.

I also wonder if the effects of the curse are just the result of MC not being able to control it. Maybe it’s not really a curse, but rather some sort of power that can be controlled if you practice? They never learned how to keep their powers at bay, so naturally they turn everyone they touch insane. I mean, after getting attacked everytime you touch someone who would come to the conclusion that their powers aren’t actually harmful?

We also don’t know if the state of madness can be reverted somehow. All we know is that the people MC touch go insane and immediately attempt to murder them. But what would happen if they were taken away from MC? Would they attempt to kill everyone else as well or is it just us? Are they still capable of acting "normal" once the trigger (MC) is removed?

Lastly… those edgy ass bandages…

Also MC is so goddamn edgy for using bandages, like come on man, you can’t tell me that that’s more comfortable than just wearing gloves. But to cut them some slack, gloves are a bit impractical and not as easy to find, so who am I to judge. And as I said before, we don’t know the specific area our curse is activated on. Maybe normal gloves don’t cover ourselves enough. With bandages, you can kind of pick how much of your skin you want to cover. Of course long gloves exist, but I think they’re a bit harder to find than regular ones. So maybe the bandages aren’t actually such a bad idea.

I think there‘s a lot of potential and I‘m really looking forward to the release of the game to find out!

It is I again I have returned I’m at work but I was thinking of luemin so….. there’s just something I’ve noticed about him he will kill but it makes me wonder how can you kill so easily how was he able to kill with such precision and not be caught so my question is was the MC‘s boss his first kill or does he have experience in doing some thing like this

Now, to answer your question: this is actually Leu's first kill. But it was heavily premeditated. He spent a lot of time killing your boss in his mind anyway, so executing it in real life was pretty easy for him. The kill was pretty clean, but uh... He played around for a bit and it got kinda messy- ^^; Luckily, his dark web friend came along and helped cover everything up. The likelihood of Leu ever getting caught is 0%
