We want to get to know everyone's characters, but in a new (and hopefully fun) way. So we're throwing a party!

That's right, our June theme is the 'MC Mixer', over the next 4 weeks we are going to want to know all about your characters and their party styles and habits. Each week, we'll have a new series of HC questions that we want you to answer for your MCs/OCs.

... but before we can throw the party, we need your RSVP!

If you'd like to participate, please reblog this post, or create your own and let us know the following:

Who will be coming? Which MC / OC will be joining the party? The more the merrier, if you want to submit multiple characters, go for it! There is no limit to how many MCs/OCs you can submit.

Where are they coming from? Which Choices book does your MC / OC reside in?

Will they be bringing a +1? Are they going to be bringing a date to the party? (This is our fancy way of asking who their LI is. 😉)

We promise, we're going to dig deeper moving forward, we just wanted to start with the basics.

MC MADNESS, Week 1

This is my submission for @choicesmcmadness Week 1

Liam & Riley Brooks-Rys

Liam & Riley love camping and sleeping under the stars. They have their favorite spot in Duchy Valtoria, where they also enjoy rafting, hiking and flying drones.

Nearby, they can also retreat to a summer cottage on the lake. Since Riley is currently expecting twins, Liam insists on having the option of going indoors for Riley, Eleanor and himself.

MC Madness: Camping Wk3

This is my submission for @choicesmcmadness' July Week 3 challenge.

Guess I kind of answered this in the Week 2 post already, but what Harper and Drake eat will depend on where they are going and for how long.

Drake loves fishing, so if they're camping near a lake or a river, then he'll try to catch dinner. He's quite a good marksman, and could probably shoot something as well, but Harper is not super keen on hunting (despite the fact that she's from Montana), and a lot of places have regulations on when you hunt and what, so Drake doesn't do this super often.

If they're going into the backcountry, Drake will usually pack MRE rations (as space and weight is at a premium). However, if they have access to a proper campsite, then the menu will consist of oatmeal, eggs, bacon, sausages, steak, burgers - basically things you can cook over the fire.

But one thing they never go without is a pack of marshmallows that they can roast over the fire in the evening, snuggled up in a blanket under the stars 🥰 That, and coffee - you gotta have coffee, especially on cold, misty mornings ☕️

So happy that @choicesmcmadness is back even though it took me all month to finally find time to do these oops

Not really a holiday tradition per se, but since their wedding anniversary is on Dec. 17, one of their favorite things they do each year is celebrate their anniversary lol

This year (2023, so ig last year now oops) they got their second kitty, Burrito, to celebrate their first anniversary!!

They also go on a ski trip every year during the week between Christmas and New Year's to celebrate the holidays

Each year they spend the holidays with one of their families (they switch off which family each year)

They also spend a lot of time in their cabin in the woods in Washington state in the winter when one of them misses the snow

One of Jackie's favorite traditions is to get together with their friends and have a movie marathon of all the holiday movies any of them have worked on (Chadley has 100% been the love interest in a Hallmark movie before)

Kit x Jules

One of their favorite holiday traditions is go into town and get hot cocoa and walk around looking at the lights and decorations

They usually go into a few local shops to do some Christmas shopping as well

They also gather around the fireplace on Christmas Eve and Jules plays Christmas carols on his guitar and sings

And ofc Kit cooks Christmas dinner every year lol

Camp Choices: Week 2 - Alice Ayers

This is my submission for Week 2 of @choicesmcmadness​’s July theme!

Note: This scene takes place during Guarded Hearts, Part 34 and is a continuation of the conversation featured in Week 1. Enjoy!

“What are you even packing?” Frankie asked over FaceTime. “You’re on a train, do you even have that much stuff with you?”

“You’d be surprised,” Alice said as she looked around the room.

“What, are the rooms on the train spectacularly big?” Frankie asked. “God, you really are too fancy for me now.”

“It’s decidedly not, but half of this train is storage for luggage. Not to mention there’s a boutique car on the train.”

“I’m sorry, what the fuck did you just say? There’s a store on the train?” Frankie asked.

“It’s exactly as bougie as it sounds,” Alice said, laughing. “Okay, okay, I have to focus—I need to pack for camping.”

“Did Bastien at least give you a list or something?” Frankie asked.

“He’s taking care of all the gear, so all I have to do is worry about my clothes and toothbrush and stuff.”

“Is he packing bear mace? He should pack bear mace. Are there bears out there?”

“I have no idea but now I’m worried there are,” Alice said as she stuffed jeans and t-shirts  and underwear into her bag.

“How many pairs of underwear are you packing?” Frankie asked.

“Two.”

“How many are you really packing?”

“Six,” Alice admitted.

“Aren’t you just going for a night?” Frankie asked.

“But what if I shit myself five times?”

“Then you have much bigger problems than bears.”

Can't stop thinking about the brothers calling MC "master" since that new teaser trailer came out. The game is called "One Master to Rule Them All." It's always been called that. This massive potential has been right in front of our eyes the whole time.

Lucifer, who only uses it in private when he's feeling particularly devilish. He wraps his arms around you, looks you right in the eye, and asks, "how does my master feel today, hmm?"

Mammon, who has an empty wallet and the urge to gamble: "Maaaster! Can I borrow some cash? I can, right? I'm your first, after all. I'll just take it from your wallet."

Leviathan, who wants to go to an anime collab cafe but is too anxious to go alone, so he begs you: "Please! Master! It's only open this week and I just have to collect all 24 limited edition cafe coasters! It'll be easier if we go together!"

Satan, who catches you when you stumble and jokingly asks, "are you okay, master?" He likes seeing the little sparks of wrath in your eyes that mirror his own.

Asmodeus, who thinks the word is hot and enjoys your reaction when he comes to steal you away from other people by saying "hey! I need to speak with my master. I'll be borrowing them for a while. I'm sure you don't mind."

Beelzebub, who hungrily stares at the food in the fridge with your name on it. He knows he needs to butter you up to have any chance of success: "Hey master, are you gonna eat that?"

Belphegor, who uses it at the most unexpected times. He texts the group chat, "does anyone know where our master is? I can't find them." It sets off a long chain of messages. "Master's not in their bedroom?" "Master? Haven't seen 'em." "Did you try yelling 'master!' and seeing if they respond?" "I saw master getting something to drink about an hour ago." "Master, are you reading our messages? I know you are." "I can't believe master is ignoring us." Several crying emoji are sent in quick succession.

Solomon and Barbatos, who witness the brothers doing this on occasion. Solomon turns to the latter and says, "You never call me your master. Want to give it a try?"

Barbatos looks at him with barely repressed revulsion. "I only have one master, and that is the Young Master. If you ever make such a joke again I will have you tried in court for lese-majeste."

God- i love these two. Literally never gets enough of em. I'll go on hiatus from the fandom after this one. I'll be back for Madness Day 2025 though!!!

🎊Welcome to MC Madness, a place to celebrate all of our Choices MCs and OCs!🎊

I think we can all agree that things have become divisive in this fandom recently. Unfortunately, all of that drama has led to people being excluded, whether intentional or not, from events, games, and other group activities.

We want MC Madness to be a safe space where we can check our egos at the door and celebrate each other, and the characters we've created.

There are some great MC centric events out there, and we definitely aren't looking to steal anyone's thunder. We just want all creators, no matter who they are, or which Choices story they prefer, to have a place to tell us about those fun little habits, hobbies and quirks that make their MC or OC unique.

Over the next few weeks, we'd like to hear from everyone. If you're a creator that would like to participate, let us know.

If you don't create, but still want to be a part of the fun, our asks are open. Let us know some stuff you'd like to learn about some of your favorite MCs/OCs. Of course, creators are welcome to send suggestions too. The more the merrier!

MC Madness: Camping Wk2

This is my submission for @choicesmcmadness' July Week 2 challenge.

Harper usually lets Drake do the packing for their camping trips - Drake's been going camping for years (often by himself) so he has all the essentials that they would need, depending on the type of trip, where the're going, for how long, etc.

But generally speaking, the things that they tend to pack are:

Backpacks

Sturdy hiking boots

Head coverings

Fire starting kit

Knife/axe

Topological map & compass

Kettle (can't start the morning without some gritty cowboy coffee!)

Blanket/sleeping bags

Tarp/Tent

Rations/fishing gear

Rope (never know when you're gonna need it!)

Water bottles (need to stay hydrated)

and... last but least MARSHMALLOWS 🥰 H&D both love roasting marshmallows and making s'mores, so they will always make sure to make space for this essential!

Also, even though they may be going to the back-end-of-beyond with no signal, Harper will always bring her phone so she can snap picks for her photo album 📸
