Also you don't know what these creeps might be up to. I know you are the King of Hell and extremly powerful, but i'm worried what someone might try once word gets out that the King of hell is whoreing himself out. What if someone ends up using blessed rope on you, or finds another weak spot to exploid. You still have a daughter and a son and grandchild to think about. What if someone does something because of your reckless behaviour that could harm them?

Like elder sister!reader decided to follow her younger brother lucifer to hell by becoming a fallen angel too because she is very worried for him. Prompt: You are the elder sister of Lucifer Morningstar who couldn’t help but fall down for your young brother.

Your brother, Lucifer Morningstar fell because of his “differences” being called a “trouble maker.” And simply having different ideas. You were different from your former younger brother as you were stern and serious at all times. But when Lucifer went to court and got sent to his own creation. Your eyes widen with fear and shocked.

You didn’t want to question things at the moment. But as hours, days, weeks, months, and then a few years pass. You couldn’t help but had enough as you started to question Sera and her rules. You didn’t believe in this type of punishment your younger brother had. But you guessed it was enough to the point you fell too.

YEARS LATER

You live with Lucifer as he was happy to see you were alive and well. Immediately when you came by his palace with your wings spout out that looked like his. He was ecstatic. He jumped into your arms with silly smile. He always loved being in your arms as he was scared how you would think of him when he fell. But you?! He was confused.

He asked you as you told him what happened and Lucifer felt his heart melt seeing his older sister care for him that much. And he started to cry while you sigh with a smile not surprised at this. You gave him a napkin which he gladly took letting you in his home which is now your home.

After he calmed down he told you how he has a daughter but an ex wife. You raised a brow as he explains his relationship with Lilith. You guess it must brought him to depression as his eye were having bags. So you cheered him up with a few fireworks which made his eyes light up as if he was a child again.

You became the 2nd ruler of hell as you were the commander back in heaven. But not any more.

Lucifer tried to tell you how he tried to give “his” people freedom and they ruined it, but you didn’t care as you put a hand out signaling him to stop. Lucifer listened looking down.

“I do not care. They shall not use freedom this way. But don’t worry young brother.” You patted his shoulder. “I won’t be harsh.”

And indeed you weren’t harsh but you were strict around some of pentagram city. Sinners understand the assignment immediately and there were less crimes around.

HEADCANNONS:

You know that meme where a person and standing there calmly and the other person is going crazy and bouncing around?

Yeah that’s you and Lucifer…cause he was being hyper fixated about his ducks to you as you just stood there and smile softly.

That soft mother like smile of yours made Lucifer feel like home as he explains more to you.

Hell, when he would miss you he would make a small opera where you had joined him in hell and how you would fix him dinner or breakfast when he came home. Just like a normal human family.

If you were getting messed with, Lucifer is full on demon mode as you held him back by his white coat with a sigh. He knows you can protect yourself but damn. He sure can throw a mean punch at assholes.

You guys do hobbies together, like he would make ducks and you would do [hobby]. It was always a calm day

I headcannon Lucifer to follow behind you like a lost duckling while you walk around the palace doing your job. You’re taller than him obviously cause you are powerful. It’s an adorable sight though.

When Charlie heard that she had an aunt, and you were in hell too! She was amazed with stars in her eyes as she wanted to meet you immediately.

And so you did. You showed up at the hotel with an angelic smile as Alastor narrowed his eyes at you but still kept a smile. You hug Charlie as she hugged you back while jumping. Charlie starts to rant about her dreams and it made you realized how much she is Lucifer’s daughter as you smile down at her.

But then she tells you how the angels are going to attack the hotel and that made you sigh as you held a dark gaze.

You have just met your niece and no one shall harm her and her dreams.

It was basically giving, “I have just met Charlie and I would kill someone for her!”😭

So when the battle started unnoticed by you. Lucifer notified you about what’s happening as your eyes widen quickly with a flash. A red mist makes Lucifer coughs covering his nose. He had forgotten how quick you were at times.

As you fly down with heavy wings, Adam and lute over a force field. You let out a breath happy to see that the hotel was fine. Until Adam broke it as your eyes widen. You swoop in killing the Exorcists left and right.

As you kill Lucifer pops up seeing Adam tormenting his daughter, bringing out his protectiveness. He saved Charlie only for Adam to get up and berate them. You fly down gracefully holding a cold look.

“Woah, didn’t know sweet tits had fallen like her loser bro-”

Before he could say anything, a heavenly glowing light beams through him as Adam gasps on the floor holding his chest. Everything went silent as people were shocked at the one shot.

“That’s my sister, AND your aunt!” Lucifer says elbowing Charlie gently with a smug smile as Charlie is jaw dropped at how you can one shot someone.

I love when I find picrews to fuel my own AUs (random blurb below the cut)

Now my OCs are kissing. Cain ofc is bratty asf, Damian is being himself. (what's the fun part is that they're both fankids but Damian is Lucifer's kid with one of my other OC's) Their ship is that Damian is older than Cain by a couple centuries give or take. But they don't really cross each other's paths at all until Cain's anniversary of becoming the ruler of Hell. (to make things easier he's like 20ish in human years and Damian is in his later 20s)

What brings them together is Damian's "rudeness" of not knowing who Cain is he's only heard of him and never knew what he looked like. Plus Damian goes back and forth from Hell and Earth periodically so he's not really up to date with many things.

While Cain is Hellborn naturally by two devil parents, Damian is mixed, Angel/Dragon/Human (his mother is half dragon and one of the last female dragon's that lived in Gamigin's prior realm! It's a long story I think I already talked about it before? Maybe? Perhaps later) Also Despite Damian being the older one, he's quite immature at times and likes to tease Cain who's pretty much similar to Leviathan in mannerisms based on "formality" but as his walls break down, he's more relaxed.

The colors are close enough though not entirely accurate to their design, especially for Cain's hair which is Leviathan's hair color if I remember correctly is like a dirty blonde? All all they had was the golden blonde 😭 so ig he gets this color which is closer to an off white/Satan's hair (the tips of his horns are red, so these horns work)

His style of dress again, is reminiscent of Hades since that's where he grew up majority of the time, but what's not seen in the photo is that he wears the same boots Satan gave him when he first started walking (they grow with him based on magic and they're resistant to all types of daily and heavy duty wear)

I also had him facing toward Damian because there was no option to add his third eye.

Damian here looks pretty spot on to how I designed him, only difference is his vitiligo isn't showing because there was no option for it and the scar that's on his eyebrow goes all the way down through his eye. Unlike his father Lucifer who very serious and doesn't react as much, he's the complete opposite very affectionate, though can be a bit of a pain in the butt. However, his voice is monotone, very chill (think of those asmr folks) and doesn't seem to match his facial expressions so he sounds condescending which isn't entirely his fault lol

Lucifer swears that it's as if the universe took the best parts of himself and his mother and threw it into Damian. ANYWAYS that's me and my random blurb for today. AH OKAY SO THIS GOT LONG SORRY, prepare for a worldbuilding lore dump

There is the obvious Lucifer as ruler as Hell. It's his domain, the sun raises when he wishes, he sees all, etc etc. The Archfiends are directly below him, fallen angels that fought with Lucifer in the war and became rulers of their own domains.

Hierarchies in Hell below that point get more complicated and depends on which domain you're in. Like in The Spire (Pride circle, Lucifer's domain) it's very very strict system, with dozens and dozens of titles and laws about things work. Designed to either work your way up or to get knocked down. The demons of Spire is infamous for being ambitious and cutthroat, always looking for a reason to look down on someone else.

Meanwhile in the Gardens (lust, Malum's domain, main setting of the story) it's a lot looser. The greatest power under Malum is her consorts, the sister/brother/etc wives that agree to Malum's lovers to be at her beck and call for eternity. They are given power, land, Malum's protection, and, well, sex lol. Everyone else below scrambles to find their own bed to sleep in. Dandelion lied, gambled, and slept his way to getting his current comfortable life, but many demons often have to do more extreme measures for less. It's very much based on who you know and how much they like you.

(Then there are the Flower Maidens like Ginger but that's a little more complicated and this is getting long)

AS FOR SOULS: Yeah, after you die and your soul is reject from Heaven, you usually get sent to Hell. Part of the duties of Archfiends is dealing and using these souls. Human souls are very powerful things on their own are very powerful, like spiritual batteries. They can just be consumed for an intense power boost. Or they can be used for spells or inlaid in weapon or items. There full buildings in hell built with souls like bricks, you can press your ear to the wall and hear them scream.

But sometimes there are souls that unique and useful enough that instead they kept around and allowed to keep their individuality. Be it for their knowledge, their power, or even because they're entertaining enough. They can be put into new bodies (this is very popular in the wrath circle, to fill the armies), or stuck into an object. If souls are left on their own without a physical receptacle they slowly get worn down, losing their personalities and memories.

Alrighty, enough Mikey spam lol. I'm glad you asked!

I have a couple big headcanons with him- this is probably going to turn into another character analysis post, lol. I'm probably going to separate these into their own posts, too. Here I go:

Raphael was as much of a dick as he was to the brothers because he was jealous.

Raphael heavily admires Lucifer- even after the fall, so imagine how much he must have idolized him before. Meanwhile, Lucifer focused all his attention on his six "favorites". Simeon has confirmed this much, that Lucifer always had a soft spot for the brothers(+Lilith) in a way that other angels couldn't rival.

So, here Raphael was. He was trying his best to be the model angel, following and enforcing the rules to a T while bending over backwards to not only meet but exceed his older brothers' demands. For christ's sake, he was the youngest angel to ever become a Seraph- which is clearly one hell of an accomplishment. And yet, Lucifer never seemed to notice. Lucifer and Raphael's relationship remained rocky, all the while Lucifer pampered and adored the more "problematic" angels.

Raphael did everything right- and yet he still watched all of Lucifer's affection and attention go to the troublemakers instead of him. Hell, Lucifer would even side with Mammon to go argue with him. That had to hurt.

I think that's about as good a reason as any to resent the brothers. Especially Mammon, Lucifer's favorite and the one Raphael seems most trigger-happy with.

Now, next one's the really long one. The one that's really several headcanons wrapped in a trenchcoat, much like the condition it addresses. Here we go:

Raphael is autistic.

Now, I could leave it at that and a lot of the other autistic people here would know what I mean. I could even just give you the laundry list of symptoms he displays. But I think this actually means a lot for his character, so I'm going to go in depth with a few points.

Sensory Issues: Hyposensitivity

When it comes to sensory issues, the first thing I have to acknowledge is his sense of taste. Raphael has a hyposensitivity to taste- meaning he perceives taste to a significantly lesser degree to most people. This is clear when he consumes Solomon's food without being disgusted at the taste- as well as several other occurrences of weird taste, like absolutely dousing his sandwich in Hell's hottest hot sauce.

But it isn't just that he doesn't perceive the taste- he actively enjoys it, moreso than other foods. I think this is because, with his dulled sense of taste, "normal" foods taste bland to him. Something to the degree of Solomon's cooking is the only thing powerful enough to give him the kind of sensory feedback most of us get from "normal" food. Which is why he enjoys it.

I don't think it's just taste that he's hyposensitive to, either. He also seems to have a very limited sense of pain. In Season 4, Raphael is seen accidentally catching his hand on fire- and not even noticing until somebody else pointed it out to him, at which point he simply described it as "hot". I'm sorry, having your hand on fire isn't just "hot" like a summer day, it's searing agonizing pain. The fact that he was this nonchalant about it, when we've seen other nonhumans like Mammon respond to pain perfectly normally, says something. I think Raphael's lack of pain perception could also contribute to how violent he is- if he doesn't feel pain the same way we do, he might not fully understand the weight of his harsh punishments. What he'd consider the equivalent of slapping someone's wrist with a ruler could be literally stabbing someone, we don't know.

Sensory Issues: Hypersensitivity

This one is going to be shorter than the others, because I really don't have as much evidence for it nor as much to say about it. But I do suspect Raphael to be hypersensitive to sound. Again in Season 4, when MC was looking for Raphael, the first thing Lucifer told them was to look for the quietest place around. While a lot of people prefer quiet, how on-the-nose Lucifer was with this combined with Raphael's more obvious autistic traits makes me suspect he might be hypersensitive to sound.

Sensory Issues: Visual Processing

Raphael, like many autistic people, seems to be a very visually-oriented person. This was highlighted multiple times in the Devilgram "Raphael's Welcome". The first time it was shown was when Raphael refused to eat food Lucifer recommended due to how it looked. This is the same angel that eats Solomon's cooking with absolutely no issue, and yet gave a hard no to anything Lucifer offered him because it looked a little funny. His priorities are way out of wack. Visuals seem to be a very powerful influence over how Raphael thinks and feels.

The next time Raphael's visual fixation was brought up in the Devilgram was when he entered Majolish. The first thing he did was start looking at all the clothing up close and pointing out details about how they were stitched, the quality of the clothing, etc- to which Lucifer remarked that Raphael has always had an eye for detail. While Raphael is oblivious to or actively avoids other types of sensory input, visuals seem to be very important to him and how he understands the world.

Communication Deficit: Social Cues

You know it's bad when Mammon tells you to read the room.

Honestly, I feel like that should be all I have to say. But you know what, I'll go on.

Raphael has repeatedly shown that he has very little understanding of social cues. He's somehow made it this far without catching onto the fact that everyone is terrified of Solomon's cooking, for example. He also once compared Satan to Lucifer after literally everyone in the room tried to warn him not to.

Raphael doesn't even seem to be aware of his own social cues and the impressions he gives off. When Diavolo announced that he'd be working with Thirteen, Raphael scowled and shook his head- only to seem genuinely surprised when Thirteen noticed this and took offense to his reaction, telling her that he "didn't say anything".

His understanding of social cues is... not very good. To say the least.

Communication Deficit: Emotional Expression

One of the first things we learn about Raphael is that he's incredibly difficult to read. It's not hard to see why other characters feel this way- the majority of the time, he has a completely blank expression. Hell, one time he flat-out said he was having fun and didn't even smile about it.

Smiles in general seem to be excessively rare with him, and it's often made a big deal of when he does.

Despite his lack of expression, he doesn't seem as emotionless as people portray him as. According to Simeon, he's actually "pretty intense". Even in the screenshot above, he's clearly feeling something, he just isn't showing it in the way a typical person would expect. He gives all the hallmarks of someone with very strong emotions but an inability to translate them to others- something very strongly associated with autism.

Communication Deficit: Speech

One of the other things we were told about Raphael before we met him is that he's incredibly quiet- to the point where others, including Luke, have difficulty understanding him as a person. Reading through the lessons, he has "..." dialogue significantly more than any other character. It's rare the game goes out of its way to include silent dialogue, and usually when it does it's in a very serious situation where it's meant to be emotionally impactful. This isn't the case with Raphael. He does this regularly, in casual personal interactions, and even to the point where it causes miscommunications with others.

An example I can think of off the top of my head is when he went to clean up a mess Thirteen created with her spiderweb bazooka. He left in the middle of a conversation to go do so, without giving any verbal acknowledgement of what it was he was doing, leading to Lucifer assuming he was goofing off and scolding him. Normally someone would say something along the lines of "we should clean that up", or "let me go clean that up real quick", or "I'm going to go clean that up", etc. Most people would say something like that without even thinking. But Raphael just gave his usual "...", and that socially inappropriate silence lead to a clear misunderstanding with Lucifer.

"Quiet" to the point of impeding on one's ability to connect with and communicate intent to others isn't normal, and it makes me wonder if he may be partially nonverbal.

Communication Deficit: Tact

Raphael is... not tactful. At all. He's incredibly blunt, and even harsh with pretty much everyone. It's so constant and grating that angel Lucifer stated that he actively avoids Raphael.

Given his other very clear social difficulties, I have to wonder just how much of Raphael's rude language is actual harmful intent and how much of it is just that he's awful with tact. I wonder how much he really meant all the dickish things he's said to the brothers.

It certainly puts his character in a different perspective. As does a lot of this. Which is why I wanted to elaborate this far on all of it instead of just throwing out autism symptoms and giving him an "I'm autistic and I think he is too" seal of approval. His character starts making a lot more sense when you look at it through this lens, and it branches off into several different headcanons I have about him.

And now, of course, the obligatory Michael comment of the day. I'm sorry, you know me by now, I couldn't not.

I think Michael is autistic too, and this ties directly into Raphael. It's said in Raphael's introductory video that he's "the only one who truly understands Michael". If Raphael is autistic, and he and Michael are on the same wavelength so to speak, it would make sense that Michael is too. I think they're on opposite sides of the spectrum- Raphael is the cold/distant/withdrawn, deadpan, hyposensitive, partially-nonverbal autistic while Michael will turn out to be the hyperactive, overexpressive, talks-your-ears-off-about-special-interests, way too in-your-face due to lack of social cues, sensory-seeking autistic. Two sides of the same coin. They'd both play into the double-empathy theory, that autism miscommunications are due to a mismatch in autistic-neurotypical communication methods and that two autistic individuals can generally communicate just fine.

Now, if you want some casual, less analysis-heavy headcanons, just lmk. Got plenty of those too, though some of them take the autism headcanon as a base!

-the only thing i had a good laugh at was katie killjoy's "congratulations for charlie and her crew for not being fucking useless for once", and nifty killing adam.

- was alastor's use of the word "fuck" supposed to be intimidating?? it just... ruins his character imo. pilot al would never.

- i despise charlie in that ep ngl. you're the princess of hell, and yet you're completely useless? i swear if she actually stepped up, we could've finally had a female character achieve something, but no. charlie is a baby, and lucifer had to come save her. she had no growth at all. maybe finally tossing the "kind" act to save the people she loves, but no. even pentious dying didn't do anything to her in terms of useful enragement or power. vanny (god, i refuse to call her vaggie) had a whole arc on ep 7 about fighting for the people she loves and how the thought of losing that should empower her, and it did. but with charlie, she just stayed the same. fuck, even angel had more development even if it also doesn't make sense (he is still chained to val and not free, nothing has changed) you can definitely tell viv plays favorites. also, dazzle died and she just?? doesn't acknowledge it???? and "dad pls stop adam has had enough 🥺". he. literally. slaughterd. thousands. of. sinners. for. eternity. what. is. your. issue. you're all about "my people shouldn't be slaughtered" and then defend the guy who is directly responsible.

-its so madly disappointing that in H*B the other sins get over-complicated and large designs when enraged and charlie is just. tail & horns. i like lucifers a tiny bit more but even the literal ruler of hell has a weak "beast" form. also how can they have a whole hellborn species directly referencing baphomet (the candle demons) and then lucifer literally has the horns & the flame too???

- ofc lilith is bad. bet she made a deal to stay in paradise and away from adam.

Only with the power of friendship and teamwork can God be killed is what i think the point of forbidden fruits is actually (not really its more about resistance than overcoming, whittling out your own little corner for those who can't fit the mould and how what seemed like a hopeless stand can suddenly become possible when you arent doing it alone, and how just maybe thats enough, you don't to be able to overcome them completely, surviving when the world wants you dead is revolutionary and disrupting by itself)

Oh, Symphony by Clean Bandit and I Hear a Symphony - Cody Fry, its all of them about each other, their world was perfect and simple and boring until they found each other and now its messy and broken and beautiful; very especially about Lilith and Eve discovering wlw after being made for Adam, parallels and comparisons with the interspecies part of Lucifer's inhumanity falling for and being loved by the first humans (choices being artificially limited for an agenda, lines being crossed and the discovering of countless hidden possibilities, exploration of the self through forbidden paths etc)

This is a weird one but Won't Be Slain Here by Musiclide, hear me out, this is the eternal debate between Heaven and Hell; This is an extremely complicated and nuanced situation, There are only two sides and to pick one is to declare war on the other

Its in the manipulation, the desperation

They are painted as monsters, they have done monstrous things, they were put in awful situations, Heaven is calm and collected and helpful, it can afford to be, it will abandon you when it can't and hell will be all you have anyway

A different ruler of hell takes each chorus before joining the backing vocals of the next, they all have the same story anyway, the same point to make in different fonts, each one is more aggressive than the last, Heaven refusal to change keeps bring it more and more enemies, and their threat is mounting into something substantial and dangerous as they find each other

Heaven has countless justifications, Hell only has one that gets repeated and layered ad nauseam but is not refuted

(First: a heads up, I am going off of Christan angelology & some Christian beliefs (not because I'm Christian but because that's the one I decided to do, no other reason lol))

So as previously mentioned in my brief post about the Seven Deadly Sins (7DS), Children/Show Sins & The Devil/AntiChrist, there is infact a character known as The Devil/AntiChrist (yes the capital letters are needed).

So who is this guy?

The fallen angel, once beloved of God, ruler of Hell, the 7DS in full form.

Now onto the details:

First off, I'm not naming him Lucifer nor having him BE Lucifer specifically because I wanted a more unique idea to form the basis of the 7DS. His original, Heaven born name is lost to time, spoken no longer by any angel, seraphim, opony or demon ect nor by The Devil & God himself. It's lost, gone. So he was named The Devil by those who heard tales of temptation and forbidden desires. Later the name AntiChrist was spoken once the human incarnation of God was born.

The Devil is the 7DS combined, as stated. Thus created by the casting out of AntiChrist, shattered into pieces to limit the power he would have, this was done to keep The Devil from bringing down vengeance upon Heaven, for now. However, there is an answer to his problems as God was merciful, benevolent as believed by Heaven and the followers on Earth, the solstices, special days of the calendar that were implemented as times when the 7DS would come together, focused only on the goal of reforming into their correct form.

As stated in part 1; there is a surge of power. This rocks the foundations of Hell as The Devil begins to reform, however so far there have been nothing but unsuccessful attempts (more on that later (look for the ☆²)), so normally there will be a mighty howl of rage cast towards the Heavens and heard throughout Hell.

And since the demons/hell-born have little to no concept of the human world (Earth), they have not called them the solstices us mortals know. Once translated into common tounge, the days translate to: the day of Reformation/Retribution. (The name stands for both solstices (p.s: the name may change depending if I think of a better one).

Meanwhile in Heaven during the day of Retribution/Reformation, the foundations are merely gently rattled, nothing but a tremor is felt. Even so, some of the population await the swift wrath of the outcast with prayers on their lips and fear in their hearts.

Earth however feels practically nothing, perhaps if humans had more advanced technologies they would feel it, why? Because Earth shall become the battleground, after The Millennial Reign of Christ, once The Devil is set free before being cast into the lake of fire with his followers therefore, Earth shall not need worry until The Devil reforms and rises after The Millennial Reign of Christ.

Now onto the physical body of The Devil.

As he's an combination of all 7DS as one I picture white scars upon where they reconnect. His physique is one of towering stature with a muscled body, however there still lingers the angelic gracefullness he once possessed when he was a seraphim. Since he was once a seraphim, The Devil has 6 wings as they do. However unlike the seraphim, four of his wings do not cover his face & feet (a pair for each). Rather they are free and revealing those features, a further sign that The Devil is no longer a favoured of God. These wings are black (as depicted) and they shall carry him up from Hell to Heaven for his vengeance once he is fully reformed.

☆¹ Now onto his Reformation & why they fail. The combining of the 7DS. It happens every summer/winter solstice aka Reformation/Retribution day in Hell. The 7DS meet in Pride, traverse long pathways known only to them, winding to dark corners where the fire burns hotter. And they shall see the 'sky' a large shatter in Hell's 'sky' one secluded to the cavern, one that is reminiscent of Heaven. Here is where the former seraphim was cast down to the fire and brimstone.

All 7 would form a circle, drawing an old rune between them, one in the language of Heaven (more on languages in a different post, stay tuned). They then shall begin to chant in the language of Heaven, known only to them, Lilith & Charlie, calling on powers of old. Then of course the power surge hits as in the middle of the rune, The Devil begins to take shape.

☆² Once formed, if the Millennial Reign of Christ is not over, the scars will begin to gush golden ichor, he shall split at the seams. Become unravelled and pour out his life and soul, screaming in agony and rage. Until the 7DS reform as themselves, aching from the arduous endeavour to try and keep the true form. However, the reason the Reformation takes place every year (or pretty much every year), is because due to being sealed away until the Millennial Reign of Christ is over, the 7DS/The Devil have no outside information aside from the hellborn & sinners. Sure they can send messengers/influences above to Earth but that doesn't mean they know everything that goes on above.

Should the Millennial Reign of Christ be over then the scars shall fade to just white, no longer glowing and The Devil shall soar with all 6 wings through the shatter of the cavern, breaking the seal and setting himself free. Then shall come the battle.

I was wondering if it was possible to mix the sins together in one imp? like a wrath, envy, and lust imp in one. I was thinking that it might make sense if the sins were related in some way, since wrath, lust, and envy might indicate that the imp did something horrible out of jealousy over a person they were in love/obsessed with when they were alive. though this might also be a bit too complex or mary sue-ish, so I get it if you dont want that!

Not gonna lie, that would sound so cool but honestly I prefer keeping things simple and just give one sin per demon. Plus it would be a little unfair that a Demon has Wrath's super strength, Lust's hypnosis and Envy's amplified senses all in one package, they'd become more powerful than Lucifer and the other Rulers of Hell.

I already have in mind how the Demon hierarchy works and their stages and thankfully it's the argument of the next Hell Tower Lore I'll drop in the future.

Okay, so I do a lot of things for a reason in writing. Capitilization, an excessive amount of italics and em dashes, the inappropriate usage of semicolons cause idk what I'm doing. Fuck it, we ball around here.

I'm a sucker for Titles. Something granted or given because of something a character has done. Becoming that which they didn't know they would or could become.

Lucifer as King of Hell is one of these titles I love to mess with. In Isn't it Lovely, and subsequently any other fic I write for Hazbin, there is a few switches between the usage of lowercase and capitalization of the word King. Because Lucifer is the King of Hell, he is a king, he is royalty -- but I think if we've learned anything about Lucifer, it's that he's not always the King of Hell. He is the ruler, the monarch, but he doesn't always fit into that role, and I don't think he has for a long time.

Lucifer is a little pissbaby, and while I love him for it, he's not always acting as straight royalty. I mean, he doesn't even like Sinners lol. So, no, Lucifer only gets the King treatment when going by his title, or when he's actually acting as King. It's a descriptor, it's what he is, but it's not always who he is.

Charlie, on the other hand, is forever and always the capitalized Princess of Hell. Because she loves her people, she is always trying to do the best she can for them. Charlie Morningstar is always acting as the Princess because she wants to. She is always actively doing what is needed to help her people, and therefore, she's always living up to her title. She is royalty, she is a princess, she is that descriptor, but she's also so, so much more.

These are a mixture of titles related to Lucifer, which may seem a little familiar to you, biblically canon names for the antichrist and some other things! Yes, she gets called this every time her presence is announced at a meeting or event or something she's very big on formality 💀

Antichrist, Regina Inferni, Servant of the Servants of Lucifer, She Who Denies The Father and Son, Grand Daughter of the Morning, Grand Daughter of Lies, The Woman of Sin, Daughter of Perdition, Beast from the Sea, Countess of Darkness, Mother Superior of Malediction

These are pretty much the same titles Santa and Rath had before her (well, Santa never ascended to his role as the antichrist lol his titles are different) with changes for gender and placement in the family line.

The last title is unique to her and refers to her self-imposed position as the highest ranked satanic "nun" of sorts, and her special ability to place curses.

Because of this, I have so many thoughts about what an au like this would look like. And while you didn't ask, I have to explain my little thoughts :)

Since it wouldn't make any sense for Charlie to be their daughter in this, I'd think it would make sense for Vaggie and Charlie to switch. Of course while in this universe it would Vaggie's idea to start the hotel ( since she WOULD be the princess of hell), I'd imagine she'd still be more low-key and less chokingly positive.

And I can see Charlie ( who would be an ex exterminator in this concept) would still be so positive, because she's desperate to help the sinners that she killed and harmed so many times. That Charlie feels so much guilt for what she's done, and now feels like she needs to redeem sinners, as well as wanting to support her girlfriend in every way. Which would explain why Charlie is so chipper and she'd probably still sing an excessive amount lol.

As for lute, I'd easily imagine her falling to a depression. For whatever reason Adam had dipping the both of them. If feel like lute would never be a "kind" parent, perhaps she feels guilty for causing hell to be hell. Perhaps in a way lute would still idealize heaven, and feel guilt, since both Adam and vaggie would never see it's beauty. I'd imagine her trying to teach vaggie how to be strong. Which in lute's mind, is being merciless and cold..

Lute saw just how her actions caused everything to fuck up, which I feel like would honestly drive a hatred for Demons nonetheless. While it wasn't as major as lute in the normal universe, however she sees demons as a constant reminder of how she fucked up. I imagine lute would be more distant and cold towards Vaggie in general ( and is a passive aggressive mother), she doesn't want Vaggie to rock the boat because who knows what happens if she did.

Also I imagine that the depression would take such a major hit for lute. Like she locks herself in her room, and just keeps waiting for Adam to come home. Like I can imagine everyone in the hotel ( aside from vaggie obviously), are all like " wow this is the queen of hell.. I remember that she was so commanding and powerful-"

And then the door opens the reveal, a shell of a woman. Her hair is unkept and messy, and she had the darkest eye bags in her eyes. And her face has a constant scowl, and her eyes a devoid of light and love.

Lute was probably a powerhouse of a ruler when her and adam were still a thing. ( Cuz Adam dips 😭) However after the separation, I'd imagine lute would be like Lucifer, and become depressed . However unlike Lucifer who's depression made him more absent, and way more anxious of a man. Lute would become even more aggressive. To others, herself, and probably even vaggie. Instead of clinging to her only child, she distants herself from her. Because she's terrified that she would leave her too, that and perhaps it hurts too much to see her.. since y'know.

Also I think that she really wants to remind vaggie, that's the fucking princess of hell. She has total authority against any demon in hell, and she'd often tell her to just get rid of anyone she doesn't like. ( Especially after they make up in whatever episode)

Lute: just kill those demons if they don't want to get redeemed.

Vaggie: that's the same thing as the exterminations mom-

Lute:... Child, why don't you cut your hair? It's so much easier to fight with short hair.

Vaggie: we're not trying to fight the sinners, we're TRYING to rehabilitate them!

Lute ( in the most disgusted tone): oh... Right...

Like, I would find it so funny. If lute really doesn't give a flying f about her subjects are redeeming them, but just helps vaggie, because it's her daughter. And besides, she doesn't want to fuck up the already estranged relationship with her even more.

Would lute be homophobic? I personally doubt she was in that actual show, she just didn't like the whole demons and angels thing. ( That's why I firmly think), so I feel as though she'd just not like how happy Charlie is. She finds her annoying naive, and doesn't understand how someone could be so happy in hell. That and maybe she feels quite betrayed by love, since she loved Adam so deeply, and yet.. he still left... Or alternatively, I think it would be funny if lute is in complete denial like:

Lute: me and your father are in a long distance relationship.

Vaggie: he's been GONE for 7 years... We have no idea where he fucking is!

Lute: and...?

That brings me to my next point, I don't comprehend a universe where vaggie thinks of Adam as kindly as Charlie thinks of her mother. I feel like vaggie would feel quite betrayed by Adam's disappearance, and decided to do things " right" this time. I could see them being close when she was a kid, he probably taught her how to play guitar. But.. then he left.

When lute was teaching vaggie to be "strong", I could see her going on a rant about how important loyalty was. ( Like come one, lute's so flipping loyal), and that's something that vaggie has engraved into her.

Perhaps if we continued with the route of lute, still being hopelessly in love with Adam. And being in such deep denial, vaggie probably would call lute out on that bs, because lute taught her to not show mercy and to not forgive. That one mistake was all it takes.

And now lute just keeps clingy onto Adam. Which is the opposite of her teachings ( which vaggie finds somewhat hypocritical), perhaps they would solely understand each other's perspective and be less hateful towards each other. Or some shit like that.

Now for Lilith and Lucifer. Lilith would start doing the exterminations due to Adam's sick guitar playing, as he ralies up the masses in hell. ( Though, me thinks it would be funny if Adam was still singing "hell is forever", and everyone just doesn't listen to the lyrics, and just dances along. Kinda of like " hey ya", where no one really listens to the song.) anyways, I doubt that Lilith would be as obnoxious as Adam in ANY universe. So I think that who she does things is more of a passive jab than anything. ( However that being said Lilith would be quite spoiled cuz y'know she's Adam in this universe. And loves getting her way) Though that being said, just like Adam she has a very quick temper.

Which could be the reason why Lilith would reveal that Charlie was an ex exterminator to vaggie in this said universe. Perhaps Lilith would get so fed up with how things are happening that she makes a strategical decision of revealing that information to fumble the relationship of the two.

Interesting enough, since this re draw doesn't have lutey with multiple wings. ( For obvious reasons) This means that lute wouldn't be a seraphim in that universe. Which I think is fucking badass, cuz like imagine just a normal angel trying to go against heaven. Like at least Lucifer had a very HIGH rank, lute looked pretty normal. ( Though when she becomes the queen of hell, I doubt her power wouldn't be normal lol)

So I guess Lucifer would STILL be a seraphim in this. Which could make sense, perhaps sera or someone higher up, assigned Lucifer to watch over Lilith as she does the exterminations. Since Lucifer is down bad, he's probably more than respectful to Lilith. He probably would tell her that he isn't supposed to be her boss in this, and instead volunteers to be her lieutenant. It works lol.

As for Charlie and Lucifer.. well, obviously they aren't father and child in this universe. Interesting enough this would show that that the army would have multiple sexes, which is interesting. But I can see that, perhaps Lilith likes to order anyone around and doesn't mind the gender all that much. That being said, it feels weird to imagine Lucifer having such a passionate hatred for Charlie. So I'd kinda remove that, I feel like Lucifer would still be quite an awkward person. So while he was the one that removed Charlie's wings, ( and eye), he doesn't have THAT big of a vendetta against her. That being said, he doesn't like her.

Like Lucifer awkwardly talks about hurting Charlie and it comes out all wrong, causally Lilith to tell him to calm down. I feel like Lilith would appreciate tact and elegance alot more, despite being quite hot headed in this. ( Like she wouldn't be a rock star, and instead sing like Opera or something like that for heaven... Which would be an interesting difference, because when she sings she's the sole focus, but Adam in our normal universe has a whole band. Then again, he probably hogs the limelight.)

Though, how about Lucifer's line about "fucking" Adam?

Well... If lute was in Lucifer's place.. then we could probably just think about her being extreme in Canon and just translate it in this:

Lute: how dare you harm my own daughter? Now.. I'm going to rip your cunt mouth out your ass.. and I'm going to rip your vocal chords and use it as a fucking whistle! And y'know what?.. I'm gonna skin you alive, and take your skin to fashion a coronation dress for my daughter when she get crowed queen-

HIII i'd be happy to!!! apologies in advance if this gets kind of rambly or incoherent lol

but okay so my main problem with it is that it just feels really reductive (which is on par with everyone else's ending but i digress). in theory i guess i get how it could feel like a full circle moment; she was introduced wanting the throne for selfish, evil purposes and then her story ends with her having the throne and using it for good. but in execution, i was not a fan. to start with, in 15x08 she seemed to revert to season ten rowena (but this is buckleming writing her so i shouldn't be surprised), bragging about everyone being afraid of her and then saying she wished she died a long time ago, as if all of her character development up until that point meant nothing

because i honestly just don't see any scenario in which she'd ever even want to become ruler of hell after season thirteen. she didn't care about power anymore. she'd been completely broken by lucifer and all she wanted was redemption. and i really despise the idea that sacrificing herself to save the world but then still being condemned to hell anyway was her being redeemed (of course she's not the only character they do this with; the message that you have to die for redemption/forgiveness runs rampant in the show and it sucks)

then there's the whole destiny thing. which is just like. i'm sorry but why in the hell would a group of people who literally call themselves "team free will" just accept that someone they care about is destined to die??? the only time they even allude at attempting to change her fate is at the end of funeralia but then they never even try. and in a season where their whole goal is to free themselves from thee biblical god's control, you would think they'd push back on the idea that her fate is set in stone a whole lot harder than they did (which is basically not at all). i just know in my heart that is so so so unlike them, especially sam after finding out he was the one who would kill her. this is the same guy who spent a whole season trying to save dean from certain doom (not to mention the countless other examples of him obsessing over saving people he cares about), so there is NO doubt in my mind he would've did the same for rowena

but i don't know, i mean i definitely understand the appeal of her becoming queen and maybe i'd be more open to it if they ended up doing more with it (and to their credit they apparently planned to, ruthie said at a con she was signed on for more episodes but covid ruined that) but at the end of day i just truly think she deserved so much more than being relegated to an eternity of doing a job that even her own son despised at the end

GN MC THAT PROGRESSIVELY FEARS THE BROTHERS

Living with demons is hard, especially when they're the rulers of hell, err, the Devildom.

Sure, there's the implication they're not supposed to hurt or do anything harmful to you, as you have the safety of being an exchange student, but that veil of ignorance was quickly lifted before even the two week mark of living with these brothers.

You've tried getting along with them, and for the most part you've been successful, but a few circumstances have arisen that have reminded you that these boys are dangerous demons... and you're the human that keeps poking the three-headed dog while it sleeps.

Mammon:

You're not so much scared of what Mammon could physically do, but you're paranoid that he goes into your room and rummages in your belongings and personal keepsakes. Your room is the only thing you have that you can claim as your own, and it's your sanctuary, despite it being in the brothers' house.

Of course, the brothers will periodically just barge in without alerting you by asking or knocking, but you've grown okay with that. You're at least in your room and able to see what they do in there. There are a few occasions Levi or Satan might mention going into your bedroom to retrieve a video game or book they had loaned you, but you make sure to put their item on the dresser by the entrance, so they don't have to venture too far in. You're okay with that.

You're not okay, however, with Mammon when he goes into your room unannounced. Hell, you're not totally comfortable with him being in your room unattended if he does give you a heads-up.

You know how kleptomaniac Mammon can be. You've heard enough complaints and stories to know how relentless Mammon can be in his search for anything that could give him a few Grimm from his brothers. You've talked with this greedy demon about items he's stolen, witnessed thefts a few times too.

So, you feel something akin to victimized when Mammon goes into your room without your permission or you being there. Your room emits this vibe of disturbance, and it bothers you because you don't know what might be missing or "borrowed". It troubles you more because now your room feels foreign again, like the atmosphere was plagued by essences that you know aren't yours. Your anxiety swells with paranoia, fear, and mistrust again.

Leviathan:

Oh, for the most part, you don't have much conflict with Levi anymore. Once you made a pact with the otaku demon he relaxed a lot more and invited you to hang out in his room to play games or fuss about animation qualities in animes or gush about his favorite manga characters.

It's just that after that contest of who was the bigger TSL fan and Levi, enveloped by jealousy and fury, came at you with the intent to seriously harm you, you've had this overly-suspicious fear in the back of your mind, itching your paranoia that it could happen again.

You've learned that Levi's demon form is easily triggered by extreme feelings, rather that's excitement, irritability, or the emotion he avatars over, and you can't help be irritationally cautious when that happens. It's a reflex from the panic that engraved itself into your psyche for self-preservation.

If you weren't so anxious about another envy-fueled incident involving your life you might find Levi's excitement for the stuff he loves more endearing and cute.

Beelzebub:

If you hadn't seen how destructive Beel's tantrums over food firsthand could be you might find it hard to believe this relaxed and mostly uninvolved brother would have such a temper... but you did experience it, so you do believe it.

It was a custard! They're so easy to get more of, but Beel immediately flew off the handle and wouldn't see reasoning, lashing out and destroying the kitchen. If Mammon hadn't pulled you down with him to the floor as Beel started his outraged tantrum you're positive you would have been collateral damage too, like your poor room that was unfortunately placed on the other side of the kitchen wall.

It was a terrifying sight to behold, seeing the kitchen torn asunder and reduced to broken walls, obliterated cabinets, and smashed counters, with kitchen utensils and ruined cookware being sent into flight and raining down, razor-sharp and shattered into broken edges that could easily pierce flesh.

That moment of destruction lingers, along with the intense emotion of fright, triggered whenever Beel complains about being hungry or when he meets your gaze at the table during times to eat. You immediately offer your unfinished plate to him, which he happily accepts and consumes in seconds, to appease the Avatar of Gluttony's temper.

Asmodeus:

Asmo's promiscuity and salaciousness are what unnerve you the most. He's the Avatar of Lust, so obviously you were already on your defense, but you've seen glimpses beyond the surface level to what Asmo can be like. That's what intrigues you about him, and you try to focus on those bits that slip past his perfectionistic lifestyle and narcissistic personality. At the same time, however, this is the cause of your near downfalls when Asmo tries to allure you with his physical prowess.

He's tried a few times to charm you, and you feel this invasive power trying to persuade you to give into your raw and sexual temptations, or this tugging sensation that tries to attract you beyond what you feel is comfortable. The repulsed response is usually what repels you from the power Asmo tries to flaunt over you.

He usually huffs after his failed attempt but quickly rebounds by placing his hands around you and trying to embrace you himself, which Mammon, prompted by his denied feelings and jealousy, usually intercepts in your honor.

There's a few times you've worried yourself nauseous Asmo will corner you, and you won't be able to save yourself from his lustful persuasion. There's also the couple of times he's mentioned eating your heart, so that's also worrisome.

Satan:

There's no questions that you secretly fear Satan, more specifically his wrath. You slighted him once before, and the threat he imposed upon you while you were trapped between his demonic form and an over-stuffed bookcase was enough to brand itself to your soul as a reminder.

As docile as Satan may appear with his affection for cats, deep interest for detective shows, and shared affinity of books he could and, possibly, would rip you apart and lavish in the blood that wept from your lacerated flesh and tension of your bones rebelling before snapping satisfactory in halves and thirds.

Other than that, Satan is much easier to hang out with compared to his brothers, except when he gets that cruel temperament to torment Lucifer, which you exempt yourself from if the pranks are too excessive.

Belphegor:

Terror has never seeped into your soul like this before. Your anxiety spikes to levels you've never experienced before when Belphie plops down next to you on the couch or tries to start up a conversation. Your fight, flight, freeze, or fawn system goes haywire, and you become petrified, unable to respond properly.

You either stay away from Belphie altogether or stay glued to one of the other brothers, Mammon or Beel preferably. Just in case.

Just in case Belphie's lament arises again in the form of murderous hate, gleeful contempt clouding his eyes, as his hands find their way to your neck that remembers the tight embrace his fingers engraved into the nerves of your throat, the ghostly suffocating that chokes you up sometimes if you become too immersed in the memory of a body that hadn't belonged to you.

Lucifer:

How many times has he almost killed you? Twice or three times? Enough to be too many and to penetrate your core with panic and trepidation whenever you see that sly smile that forms on his lips. It doesn't have to be directed at you, but it's enough to launch you into a panic attack that you barely keep under control.

That safety guard of being a representative from the human world and exchange student mean nothing when you test it by being a busybody in affairs that definitely don't involve you over and over again, especially when it's the pride and dignity of Lucifer being tested.

You hear your lesson but never learn, and unconsciously you must be masochistic for how many times you've brushed death with Lucifer's anger, but you keep pushing the limits.

You can't help going to Mammon's defense when you feel Lucifer is only targeting him for personal reasons or standing up to his ego when you feel he's going over his limits. Your bravery is stupidity though, and you feel your courageous backbone turn into a central nerve system of adrenaline and fear. You're just too stubborn and self-righteous to let Lucifer do as he pleases, but that doesn't mean you're not scared out of your wits.

You've gained an intuition for when Lucifer is approaching or silently comes up from behind you, and it sends a shiver down your back almost every time you're alone together.

Sorry it took me so long to see this, lol. I have a quick question so that I know what all I need to type. How much lore do you already know so I know where to start? Are we talking an absolute beginner or we talking you know some details but like, just barely?

Regardless, I can give a quick rundown of some major events in Ultrakill's lore.

God creates the universe, and gets fed up with humanity constantly gaining free will no matter what he tries to do, this causes him to become so frustrated he creates hell, and then immediately goes "oh no, I can't unmake this" upon doing so. Lucifer then says "hey, isn't eternal damnation a bit extreme for some of the offenses these humans actually committed?" Causing god to instinctively throw Lucifer into hell, and then after the fact, to become so ashamed by what he just did that he exiled himself presumably into hell itself, leaving heaven in absolute disarray.

Now, the Final War. Ultrakill seems to take place in a world where WWI kinda went on for a solid 200 years, during which time humanity developed machines fueled by blood. At first, this started with the guttermen, machines which are powered by prisoners of war, deserters, and the like who have been forcibly sealed into metal coffins on their backs while being put on minimal life support, turning them essentially into living batteries to power the Guttermen who would put an end to trench warfare. They would eventually be countered by the creation of the Guttertanks, and so on so forth until we get to the Earthmovers, which are essentially giant walking fortresses with arm cannon things capable of levelling cities in an instant. These things were so unfathomably large that there was really no effective way to counter them, though there was one being developed, the V series, aka, V1, the character we play as. However, the Earthmovers, who were so large that they needed both solar power and blood to run, ended up being such effective war machines that they ended up drowning out all sunlight, suffocating themselves to death, and leaving humanity able to recover... for about 2 years before something occured which wiped them out entirely. The current theory being that Hell itself, which is sentient, ended up corrupting machines sent on expeditions into it and causing them to turn against humanity.

This absolute flooding of souls into the afterlife, as you could expect, caused quite a dilemna in hell and heaven, as at the time god had just recently vanished. This was so severe that the river styx swelled into an ocean, and actually capsized the ferryman. During this time of chaos however, we have info on what two of the rulers of some of hell's layers did. King Minos in Ultrakill became a very compassionate leader in hell, and upon deeming that most of the people in the layer of lust's only real crimes were loving each other, started a Renaissance to bring them the closest thing to heaven he could when the council of heaven refused to let sinners up into heaven. However, eventually the council caught wind of this, and sent the angel Gabriel to cut Minos down, slaying Minos. However, as they realized Minos was becoming a Prime Soul, a soul so powerful it no longer needed a physical body to manifest, they locked him away in the flesh prison.

In contrast, King Sisyphus saw the chaos occurring as an opportunity to wage war against heaven, knowing that they would inevitably come to end Minos' Renaissance. Sisyphus gathered every husk intelligent enough to strategize and staged an insurrection, which he knew from the start would probably fail, but did so anyways mostly out of spite. This insurrection was ended when Gabriel beheaded Sisyphus, but ended up almost having Sisyphus become a prime soul before his head even hit the ground, causing heaven to lock him away in a far more advanced cell, the flesh panopticon, which is notably locked behind so many damn entities in the level it is on. Sisyphus was so powerful in fact that when we fight the Flesh Panopticon in P-2, just us causing the Panopticon to attack us is enough to cause Sisyphus to stir and break free from it.

This is all the pre-events of the game. The actual events we play through can best be summed up as "V1 paints the entirety of hell a brand new coat of red while giving Gabriel an existential crisis." That is the best and only way I can actually describe it.
