I freaking adore our chronic pain boys! Those babies need some darn painkillers. So how about a Master who overexaggerates their pain so they get more painkillers from the army and shares them with boys? Like just standard painkillers.

He's horrified that you're taking so much of a risk for his sake, yet also not entirely convinced you're telling the truth about these pills, in the first place. Too shocked to refuse, he takes what you offer him... and is even more stunned to realize that he feels better afterward. Once he's had enough time to accept that you aren't planning some awful trick, Mikhael gets a bit less guarded around you. You went out of your way to help him, after all.

He immediately assumes that this is the usual kind of "deal" he makes— the kind where soldiers offer things he wants, and take their payment from his body in return. It's a bit unsettling that you're offering pain meds, but if you already know how much he's hurting, there's no point in turning them down. When you don't pick up on his (very obvious) advances, however, Like2 starts getting anxious. He owes you, and he despises that looming debt.

Love1

He's instantly wary of your intentions with the pills, but so caught off-guard by the offer that he can't come up with a reason not to take them. And then, when the only effect is a staggering lack of the agony he's grown accustomed to, Love1 is so overwhelmed with relief that his prior suspicions go entirely forgotten. He'll be right back to questioning your motives later, but even then, it's distressingly difficult to find reasons to doubt the selfless offer.

Springfield

Even though he knows that taking strange pills could end very badly, Springfield doesn't dare to refuse. The realization that they really were just pain pills makes him terribly emotional— you went out of your way just to help him, and that's far more kindness than he deserves. He's openly, pitifully grateful, and nearly brought to tears every time you offer another dose of relief. It makes him even more attached to you, that you'd be so kind to a broken tool.

F

He willingly takes the pills while fully expecting them to either knock him unconscious or leave him writhing in agony— he's been given unknown drugs before, to similar results. The sudden lack of pain he gets instead comes as an awful shock. Now, F has no idea how he's supposed to react (this isn't a script he's been through before, he doesn't know what you want), and that uncertainty only gets worse when combined with mind-numbing relief.

master hearing like two talk to the others guns and like2 about how he isn’t some kind of “prissy wimp” like like2 is with master saying, at least like2 looks good. like2 and like twos reaction? plus anyone you want

Like2 — Smug. Although his counterpart's insults don't do more than irritate him (by now, Like2 can tell he's just jealous), hearing Master back him up just fuels his ego. He'll be rubbing it in Like Two's face for weeks that he's your favorite, positively preening at the attention.

Like Two — Horrified. Like Two will disgustedly snap at you for having such trashy taste, insisting that a strong weapon will better serve you than some pretty toy— but internally, the rejection hurts. He'll never admit it, but he's a lot more self-conscious from then on.

Love1 — Though he's deeply tempted to tease his brothers for the sheer comedy of it... yeahhh, making them any angrier would be a problem in the long run. Love1 tries to settle things down between them afterward, but he's all-too-clearly fighting back laughter.

Hey! Just stopping by to say I enjoy reading your fanfic.

Also, thanks to your reblog of gif sets related to Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, I decided to watch the movie and I understood the appeal of Patrick Wilson as Orm. And I have thoughts.

Now I’m watching The Phantom of the Opera because he’s in it and I’m falling into that rabbit hole. (Side note: the man can sing and I don’t know what to do with that.)
