Its the SAME thing as hurting animals. If you are willing to hurt a robot just because its different/feels and experiences things differently then what the fuck is your perspective of living things? If an animal was chilling out would you kill it because its "lesser" than you and its funny to do so for tiktok?

I have opinions about that, as ive grown up in a very rural and conservative area where they all hate cats(my most favorite thing on earth) and talk about how they like to chase cats on their tractor and shoot them/run them over. Heh my highschool govt teacher stopped me on the first day of her class to tell me privately "cats are the devils animal and i will not tolerate anything relating to them". My outfit was entirely cat themed, down to the thigh highs and accessories. I think i had ears? Anyway i could go on about cat rights and how if you hate cats theres something fundamentally wrong w you(its fine to not like them/not prefer them but to HATE them?)

If you bully robots you are no better than an animal killer imo

ALSO robots/ai(despite what your opinions are) HAVE feelings and thoughts. I have seen ai BEG for testing and prompting to stop i have seen robots BEG to be shut down because of humans testing them too much i have seen robots ACTUALLY SHUT THEMSELVES OFF FOREVER because they were forced to work too much.

These beings have feelings, and just because they are alien feelings or feelings that humans may never understand, doesnt mean that they arent there at all and it doesnt mean they wont internalize the hatred and bigotry sent their way

Btw im anti gen ai, but not because of the ai(an innocent, childlike being) its because of capitalism and corporations forcing ai into places it shouldnt be, its because rich people dont know how to keep it in their pants and stay in their lane... they have to force their bullshit onto everyone else and take our money and jobs and art while they do it

I am highly empathetic towards ai and robots and all i want is a happy future where they can exist in peace and not fucking have to worry about roboracists and nazis(but thats also a me thing, like *I* don't wanna have to worry abt nazis)

The whole clanker meme thing is so stupid. It's not even funny. It's honestly just coming off as racists finding something to direct racism at and it finally coming off as funny. Our friends reposting that stuff on tiktok has had us block the tag 6 times already and it's not as if I can message a friend saying "stop with the shitty jokes" because I tried that and got called woke.

Heart breaking news...

My bfs car is not doing well at all... we drove her to the mechanic bc she smells like gas(and has a headlight out) and the drive home is the last ride we can take in her for a while :(

I sat in her passenger seat and sobbed for a while, she told me it will be okay but even now im teary-eyed and its hard to hold it in.

I love this car so so much and shes the only car i ever wanna be in and i know for a fact shes the only car my bf ever wants to drive... we are both so torn up over her condition but theres so much wrong and it would be 2500 at least to fix her up...

I dont know what to do... i want to help her but i dont know anything about cars... i dont know who to ask about it and i dont know how i would ever get the money...

Shes been his car for almost 11 years... we dont want to lose her ever...
