now that i'm finished with my big bang i can finally focus on my other wips (please please please check out my fic for @aroyallybigbangrwrb if you haven't already hehe)!!! sharing two excerpts because i'm so proud of myself.

excerpt from untitled george x henry x alex abo fic:

Alexander is drunk.  “My sweet wife has come to join us!” He exclaims in his drunken stupor, spilling brandy all over the front of his shirt and staining it a rich ruby-brown. Laughter and intoxicated jeers ring throughout the room as he stumbles from the dais, his unstable gait taking him down the steps and towards Henry. He laughs and sweeps him into his arms, swallowing the omega’s protests with a heated kiss.  Henry is not amused. He places his hands on Alexander’s chest and pushes him away, but the king is unrelenting. He circles his arms around his waist and keeps him close. Henry wrinkles his nose at the scent of him. “You reek of brandy.” He glowers at the king and nearly growls, “Unhand me, alpha.” Alexander backs off almost instantly as though his hands have been burned. A wounded expression clouds his expression, his honey-brown eyes wide and watery.  “And you are angry,” he replies, small and chastised.  “I am so grateful that you have finally noticed,” Henry says tightly. His darkened eyes scan the room until they finally land on Lord Ramos, his wife, plump with child, sitting prettily on his lap. “You.” He pushes past his husband and stalks over to the man. “I told you what would happen if you ever dared to harm my George.”  Ramos stares at him as though he were some scum underneath the sole of his boot. Not a person but an inconvenience. His eyes are covered with a glassy sheen. “I haven’t touched him.” “He told me what you’ve done. What you have all done to him,” he addresses the other lords and gentlemen, his voice rising above the rest.   Ramos’ gaze is cool when it meets his, but there is a slight tick in his jaw. “He is a liar.” Henry frowns. “My dove is no liar.”  “Then, perhaps it is pox. It is making him delirious.”  He shakes his head and laughs, ugly and sharp. “You have the fucking gall to come here, look my husband in the eye, and pretend that you haven’t orchestrated an entire smear campaign against our George. You are a pathetic excuse for a human being, Lord Ramos.” He spits at his and his wife’s feet, satisfaction curling at his chest when he sees the stunned looks on their faces.

B99!!!! i’ve been on a massive brooklyn 99 kick lately i’ve been watching it nonstop im on my fourth rewatch and it’s so so good!!

okay so this is a 3-way tie between terraria, undertale, and omori.

all 3 games are amazing and hold a special place in my heart and are also incredibly good

terraria is simply a massively fun game that i played nonstop as a kid (and is also better than minecraft sue me)

undertale is a beautiful piece of media in general and is so much fun and so good and it brought me closer to so many of my friends

and the same sentiment goes to omori, it highkey shaped the person i am today (shoutout to basil omori from hit indie game omori) and it’s incredibly fun and also beautiful

Basil always keeps his arm around Milo cause it calms her down when she’s nervous.

They make eye contact on accident all the time cause they love each other’s eyes. When they realize, they get super blushy

They LOVE to play with each other’s hair

Basil has really soft hair so Milo is usually gently brushing her fingers through it or braiding it

Basil makes a lot of flower crowns for Milo and she keeps every single one

Milo usually comes back from missions with an assortment of flowers she thinks Basil will like and leaves them in his estate

Basil loves to show Milo how she deserves to be treated by others as she was mistreated for a good portion of her life (not by her parents, by other ppl including her uncle)

Milo has nightmares fairly often and Basil is always there to comfort her.

Basil is the reason Milo started feeling emotions again and he helped her when she was overwhelmed by the amount of strong emotions she felt

Basil thinks Milo is adorable and he wants to pet her so bad but he doesn’t know if she’d be alright with that so he refrains until she states otherwise

When he finds out Milo actually loves being pet and sees it as a source of comfort, he does it all the time cause he loves seeing Milo happy

When they eventually have their first kiss it’s really awkward and quick at first then they kiss again and it’s more natural

Basil, this is so sweet omg!!!!! Upon seeing this ask, I immediately had to spin around in circles for several minutes because my brain was feeling all the happy emotions at once! <333

Thank you for the shading compliments! I absolutely adore drawing shiny things to the point where I often go out of my way to include metal or other reflective bits in my art! For FinFault, it would have made more sense for me to have incorporated silicone, plastics, or ceramics into Jimmy’s design like a lot of modern robots, but art gremlin brain insisted on all metal so I could do the fun lighting bits on him every time >:). I’d love to do a metal-painting tutorial at some point if I have the time!

And I’m so glad you like my writing!! I’ve been writing for years, but prior to FinFault, I’ve never shown it to anyone other than my mom and my childhood friend, so I’m so happy that I have a style that suits the story I’m telling! And yes, I’ve always loved STEM too, especially all the earth sciences! I like being a jack of all trades as much as I can! (I know your question was rhetorical, but I’m pretty bad at most sports, and I can barely dance to save my life XD)

Which actor from Holy Flying Circus do you think did the best job at portraying their Python??

Short answer: All of them.

Long answer: Tbh, I think all the actors did a pretty great job at portraying the Pythons! But ESPECIALLY Charles Edwards as Michael Palin, like not only does Charles PHYSICALLY look like he COULD be Michael Palin, but he (Charles) got Michael's mannerisms down TO A TEE.

Darren Boyd as John "Basil Fawlty" Cleese was also pretty great, and I think he ironically got John's mannerisms pretty accurate as well! Also, idk if it's just me here, but I think Darren's portrayal of John is actually kinda nuanced, despite what his "Basil Fawlty" persona might suggest. Like Darren/John, even though he is shown throughout the film to be more or less largely sarcastic, DOES and CAN show emotion (see the "I do love you.....Mike" scene as emotional damage evidence) and shows that he DOES care for other people (especially Charles/Michael), plus "John Cleese Vs the Islamaphobe" scene is pretty epic imo, and actually does has a point about the difference between FREE speech and HATE speech.

Tom Fisher as Graham Chapman was, ofc, ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. RIGHT DOWN TO THE TEE. His mannerisms, his quotes, his cool asf jackets...his..his... EVERYTHING. Tom truly served cunt with his portrayal of Graham FR FR, even if he had minimal screentime. Also, Tom/Graham really portrayed Graham's debonairly sassily gay charm pretty well, as well and Gray's bonkers & wise self too!!

Rufus Jones (unfortunately no relation to the actual Jonesy) as Terry Jones was pretty great tbh. Like other people have said, Rufus J/Terry J felt more like Jonesy when Rufus J/Terry J played Jones the Wife/Mrs Palin (aka Mike's Wife), which i can agree with tbh, since Jonesy did mostly portray the women in MP! But I'd argue that Rufus' portrayal of actual Terry J was pretty great too! I think his mannerisms felt very accurate to Jonesy in some ways, also Rufus/Jonesy's (slightly exaggerated) speech impediment with pronouncing the letter "r" was pretty funny tbh, and also because of this in HFC, I did learn that the actual Jonesy DID have a mild speech impediment! Tbh, Rufus/Jonesy is pretty adorable<333

Steve Punt as Eric Idle was pretty great tbh, not only capturing the quote unquote "Money Grabbing Bastard" side of Eric pretty accurately (imo), but as well as Eric's cheekiness as well! I think Steve/Eric is pretty funny tbh. Also the fact the Steve actually DOES look like Eric FR lmao 🤣.

Phil Nichol as Terry Gilliam was pretty adorable tbh. Phil's portrayal of Terry G as a lil goofy goober chaotic child-like goblin of a man who grabs random bits and pieces and makes a paper cut animation in, like, a second was pretty funny tbh. Phil/Terry G certainly does capture the essence of Terry G very well imo.

Overall, i think all the HFC actors did a pretty great job at portraying their Python pretty great!......BUT, but, but, BUT....

If I HAD to choose ONE(/two) actor(s) who did the best job of portraying their respective Python, it would have to be Charles Edwards and Darren Boyd.

BUT BUT BUT.....honourable mentions for the OTHERS who did a pretty great job at portraying their respective Pythons would be (imo), Tom Fisher and Rufus Jones!

William: i have a few. This Is Love by Air Traffic Controller and Christmas Kids (first one is pretty obvious, second one. also pretty obvious. second half of the song gives Michael Vibes). Mother Knows Best is basically just him with Cassidy when Cass asked him if he could actually go to school when he was older. actually fuck it, i'm adding two older songs about rabbits here, too. for obvious reasons: Run Rabbit Run (you know the one) and Bunny Bunny Bunny by the Golden Orchestra. listen I Had To.

Michael: Runs in the Family by Amanda Palmer, Problems by Mother Mother, Fences by Paramore, and Folie à Deux by Stomach Book (the last one is just basically what Michael's panic attacks sound like, pretty much). Teddy Bear by Melanie Martinez gives the vibes of Michael talking about his. complicated feelings on his father.

Cassidy: hoo boy, several. Cry Baby, Sippy Cup, and Dollhouse by Melanie Martinez (the first one feels more like William singing to Cass; the guy saw a lot of himself in Cassidy, after all). Poison by Cavetown. You're Gonna Go Far Kid by The Offspring (relates to him and William; kid is Pissed).

Jeremy Fitzgerald: The Other Side of Paradise by Glass Animals (angst reasons; he's sad about his brother :() and Hey, Mickey by Toni Basil (non angst reasons; he likes Mike :]).

Kelsey: Devil Town by Cavetown.
