#summer game fest im looking at you and i am left wanting #this idea's been brewing in my brain for a couple of months i just dont know where to start #low poly models like in signalis or maybe metal gear solid 1 i really dig this washed out graphics style #also there's a customizable companion robot/android too #it's 3rd person far over the shoulder #with looting and crafting mechanics #and it's also a murder mystery (your murder) kinda #and you can romance befriend people or make enemies #i'm still unsure how i'd like for the combat to look bc i want the shooting mechanics i just dont know what could spice it up #hopefully this summer once i move out i'll have time to think on it #maybe i'll leave this post up so i might reblog it with any and all updates in the future #i do need to start with some concepts first but i dont want to touch blender shit scares me #personal #delete later

If there's one thing I like more than time travel it's crossover reincarnation, so.

Botk link reincarnated as Damian Wayne.

An incredible weapon master of all types, but especially prodigious with a sword - he was beating knights at the age of 4 and with his memories as intact as they get for him I can see that goalpost moving even further (probably with traps and tricks, a 3yo doesn't exactly have great bodily control).

He's an excellent survivalist, agile, strong, durable, cunning and creative. He can move like a feather in the breeze, strike from behind with ease. His first kill, an animal, did not stir him as it did the other children. With his poise, grace, skills, obedience, he ought to be ra'as' finest assassin in the making, a jewel in the crown of the league.

Except he never speaks a word. Half his targets escape unscathed. He skates by true punishment on the merit of his skills and achievements in other missions. Testing has shown it is not a physical deformity that prevents his speech, but not even talia has been able to coaxe a word from him past his second birthday.

It is a defect ra'as is growing more and more frustrated by, as each attempt to fix these two final flaws ends in resounding failure. Less extreme solutions are running dry.

Talia fears those solutions. Her child does too, she knows. For them, there is a possible solution, more extreme than anything ra'as would tolerate.

She sends him out of the league. To his father.

To Gotham.

Like monsters? Kill with prejudice loot the corpses.#The yiga might have a little more hindsight understanding and he never killed them anyway but zero hesitation blowing them up #And ganon is so far removed from the concept of 'killing is bad' because a) human??? Monster??? B) literally the problem #C) he's been killing people so it'd even out d) everyone wants him dead So Bad e) been killed already like a dozen times what's one more #I get the feeling he'd assign the same role to the joker like 'widely considered the source of all evil. 'died' several times and came back #personal source of absolute misery for several heroes. Killed many' = slay the monster. Straightforward.#Like yes link always chooses kindness and has a strong morality and Opinion on killing people it's just a lot would be solved #By hitting the joker until he stopped making life miserable for everyone and if that means permanently well that's kind of link's job.#And like with Jason the bats understand that a lot better than they pretend to. But that is a 10yo who should not be thinking like that.#I think it'd be interesting to see how that'd change their reactions to 'Damian'. Like he holds a very similar opinion to og and Jason he #Just goes about it completely differently.#And I'd love to explore the differences between two fictional worlds and how they can go from pretty much the most black/white morality #To probably one of the greyest areas while still holding near identical themes and methods of dealing with that.#Found family compassion as a weapon against evil and copious amounts of weapons and cool gear lol #Also link should keep the arm he's earned it. Reincarnating with all his memories knocked a few other things loose I'd imagine #Mostly because all the loz games I've played have absolutely altered the way I view any link and also I love referencing them.#Damian with telekinesis and infinite glue would be great. A tiny 10yo sword master choosing instead to drop a dumpster on you #In between hurt comfort link beginning to bond with his family and begin to speak and learn sign language from cass #There's also the sound of explosives and a small figure clinging to a flying door as it crosses the Gotham night skies #Speaking of cass I bet her and link would be great friends in this au.#batman #batfam #bruce wayne #loz au #Loz #loz totk

#what i WANT to do is the iron throne rescue #but i wanna rescue laezel from orin #but i wanna fight sarevok with minsc in my party #and there's good loot at wizard shop that doesnt require fighting so i might as well do that #and we're right next to murder target cora so #and it would be easier to pass thru the park so gotta fight those assassins #and the entrance to bhal village is right by the mummy crypt and i really want the gear he drops #and the mansion is right by jahieras house and i have minsc now so #dove plays bg3 #should i go straight to the sub or talk to gnomes first which is more fighting #after throne the house of hope is probably my fave act 3 mission #probably bc theyre so contained i cant get distracted and come back later #part of the decision paralysis is tiv is finally lvl 12 and i was planning to be the Necrodancer this whole time #she read the book of thay so she might as well use it #but do i want the necromancy wand? do i respec my character to learn more necro spells thru magical secrets?#cuz as a bard ive learned to love playing support #and im playing a full on necromancer in another playthru anyway #and theres no warlock in this run so maybe i should learn rebuke and hadar thru magical secrets?#bard spells arent actually that great #i dont remember why i wanted to be the main spellcaster this run

armor trims rock!!! threw together a backup netherite armor set just because I wanted to use more trims (between diamond armor end loot and my enchanted books it was pretty fast, actually the exp cost would've been the real time sink.. if I didn't cheat a little bit <3 aha)

also went ancient city delving to find the silence trim yesterday and in my first ancient city I swear to god I found like 5-6 chests in it which had, each, TWO enchanted golden apples??! im loaded with them now its crazy

#alas I want to make 3 more netherite sets for decorating the vault but :(#will be much much harder ill need way more resources prob need to loot some end cities again for good starting gear #ahhh but I love my armor trims I almost like my backup set more than my main! oh right. that's why i stopped doing anything involving 6.x. because the fucking gear drop gacha keeps kicking me in the dick and my entire right-hand side of gear has an ilevel of Absolute Trash so i can't even get on the patch gear treadmill at all.

#girlbob.txt #like there's just. so many #loading into an area is like 3 loading screens and then it's like two to finish a single mission it's kind of insane #all those menus and there's still so much clicking around #i honestly have a lot of notes about uh. why this game is really badly made #despite the gameplay and looting being quite fun #i realized the other day that i was like 'i like this sniper rifle but hate that one'#and i think that's a sign of good weapon variation #i can't tell how unique playstyles actually are since so many of them are exactly the same until you get good gear #which i don't have #tho i do like stasis crystals and thread bundles #those specifically feel unique #but there's a lot of crap in this game #but hey the fact that i'm playing enough to know this means i'm enjoying it LMAO

ive been curious so ill throw a question into the void: what are your go-to classes/builds for everyone? why did you go for that?

#bg3 #for me i like astarion as a strength-based rogue/barbarian #i think it leans into the anger he's got and also is objectively very strong mechanics wise #berserker barb/thief rogue so you can chuck motherfuckers across the map and chase them down #and lae'zel gets a small respec to make her into eldritch knight material for a few reasons #mostly because i just love eldritch knights but also because a TON of gith-specific gear is tailored to the eknight #a good chunk of the loot you get from the creche is most relevant for eldritch knights #waaaaay latter in the game i turn jaheira into a ranger and like. that one i do purely for variety #there are no rangers for the entire game unless you're playing one #but you get two druids for your trouble #baldur's gate 3

a little while ago they made an update to undead armor and the zombie pet where the pet buffs ALL your stats now. so now *i* can shred through a t5 easily, which is insane considering i am NOT good at pve/pvp in the slightest and have no idea what i'm doing in terms of gear jkfdhgk

#i didnt test the changes out till now bc i didnt feel like grinding slayers :V #yes the giants sword has ofa but i got two shards within 5 slayers so. looting/luck simply dont matter when you're rng carried FKDJHG #been thinking about switching to soul eater and maxed enchants tho even tho my damage will be a lot lower #doubt i'll be able to kill gaia constructs during diana tho. but i dont do a whole lot of other combat anyways? so???#i'd imagine the healing from syphon or whatever and more luck/looting would be better in the long run right #idk i hate gear management. put me back in the rift kjhfdkg #video #sb #mine

played through House of Hope and defeated Raphael yay <3 I rolled the 30 Persuasion to get Yurgir on my side which was a huge help (before in Shar's Gauntlet I killed him without talking to him but he's chill in my books now lol). after that the fight wasn't that bad when I killed all the adds because Raphael kept on getting blinded bcus Shadowheart wields Lathander's Light. I love to spam blind/paralysis/stun conditions that's how I cheesed the Gortash and Steel Watch boss fights hahah. Orin's next I'm getting poor Lae'zel back finally

I hyperfocused on playing minecraft today that's literally the only thing I did from morning til now, which is-- morning. My gamer era is back and in the form of minecraft...

#aria rants #played minecraft since 9 am and only stopped playin fr at 2 am... i had breaks ofc! but goodness thats so long...#my wrists and arm were starting to ache too cuz of always being on the keyboard and mouse like--#i got a lot of stuff tho! been mainly exploring and having a blast with my good gear and got a lot of loot!#gonna explore some more tomorrow too in which case ill keep going exploring until my armour's durability reaches 0 #ive full enchanted diamond but i didnt like the enchants so im just using it til it breaks. my helmets gone alrdy #so now all im waiting for is the rest and then time to head back to spawn where id be sorting everythin and continuin with building
