Hey friends! My band is being featured alongside other Michigan musicians for a feature showcase during the SXSW music festival in Austin, Texas in March. [Before Law can get a word in edgewise explaining how he would rather not. Luffy's gone in a whirlwind. Or a typhoon. Any natural disaster that left the land devastated in its wake. Law is left standing in the middle of the cafe, clutching his phone as the door slams shut behind Luffy, the bell ringing his exit. 

Law slumps into his stool, suddenly exhausted. 

“Sorry about him.” Nami says sliding into the seat that Luffy just vacated, “He’s like that. Once he takes a shine to you, that’s it. He’s all in. He has no care about whether you want to be his friend or not.”

“We’re not friends.” Law mutters. Nojiko snorts into the mug she’s drying, “I barely know him.”

“I’ve been friends with him for years and I barely know him.” Nami responds with a shrug, “That’s just Luffy. Count your blessings that he likes you. People he doesn’t like usually get punched in the face.”]

ok the more i think about it the more i'm going insane over calvin's cello skills

the parts by themselves were Impressive. like highly energetic thumb position vibration if i saw that correctly. multiple times. on pitch

and singing simultaneously?? like i've tried playing the cello and singing once (1) and i'm definitely not as good as calvin but i feel like the coordination is much harder than with a guitar

ALSO he was carrying that thing for like one and a half HOURS. idk how much an e-cello weighs but it didn't look very light
