Starting to try and puzzle piece the lore together with some in between doodles. Tang and the gang (Sandy and Pigsy) have to go rescue baby MK from Spider Queen after a surprise ambush leads her to capture him and Wukong.

In fading moon, how did macaque end up with erlang. Since its described as toxic and the au is "fading", I'm guessing erlang is abusive. Did it start out that way, with erlang taking macaque with force, or did macaque willingly enter the relationship (probably a wukong rebound really)

It was definitely not willingly. There was definitely some force, manipulation, and magic involved.

I had a whole WIP based on the Epic Musical song "Love In Paradise"

Erlang basically has this ring/artifact that manipulates Macaque's mind. Super effective with skin to skin contact.

I was making art for the shadowpeach Bio parent takeover and I was listening to Epic, then I was like wouldn't it be crazy if. And the more I did it I was like they're kinda alike, like they both think they are monsters (one more than the other), both have red bandanas and miss their wives!

An entire lifetime unfolds between Nezha’s heartbeats.

Sun Wukong’s life.

As a troublemaker, a warrior, a king……

Then a husband, a father.

How lovely the day had been, the memory as sweet as the peaches and plums they had gorged on.

And then-

“YOU’RE ALONE!”

The words erode him from within like rot through fruit. He’s not alone, he has powers mortals could only dream of having a speck of, he has his father, brothers and duties-

He has Wukong’s friendship. Or well, he had it. 

Nezha blinks and suddenly he sees Xiaotian, MK, Wukong and Macaque’s son, their legacy, the star to their sun and moon, Nezha’s-

“-friend, I couldn’t ask for more!”

Wukong was wrong.

He knows what he’s fighting for now.

Through the blinding glow of Li Jing’s attack, a flurry of pink lotus petals explodes in retaliation.

Gritting his teeth, Nezha’s arms trembled under his shield. He takes one step forward, then another, and another-

His shield shatters, he takes two steps back. He barely raises his spear in time to block his father’s next blow. The shaft of his weapon is molten lava in his palms. 

He loses his spear first. Then most of his armor, then his wheels, ah he hasn’t walked in a while, with how shaky his legs are he’s surprised he’s still upright-

Then he’s not. His father’s wrath rumbles in warning. What was one more act of defiance?

And so Nezha, Third Lotus Prince, crawls up those final steps and uses the last of his strength to grab the Pagoda-Wielding General’s fluttering cape.

It's done! I'm so happy with it!

Macaque and Wukong are married, the kings of Flower Fruit Mountain (even though I used queen in the video his suitors do not treat him as though he is also the king), Wukong has to go off to war on behalf of the allies they made when they were young rulers of a newly flourishing kingdom, he's supposedly killed in the battle, and Macaque was expecting twin daughters and didn't know it when Wukong left. For extra ANGST, I am an angst-ivore

Everybody and their mother wants to take Macaque, both to get the title of king of Flower Fruit Mountain because it's a prosperous kingdom, and as a fuck you to Wukong because a lot of people don't like him, he's been keeping his suitors distracted as best he could but they have figured out he's lying and are threatening to use more violent ways of getting him to select a new King.

Mr. Snake-bitch-mommy-issues Xiangliu is his main suitor and takes the role of Antonius.

The two demon monkeys standing by the door are Marshal Ma(right) and Marshal Liu (left). Ma is albino that's why her eyes are pink and she's got stuff under her eyes, it's a charcoal smear to help her see.

I have a fanfic about this au in the work already, I think it'll be done before the end of the year, but I have minor surgery on the 26th so who knows what'll happen.
